Cell phone footage showed Jara firing multiple rounds at a 46-year-old woman inside the apartment. What you going Hello. Hello. [music] A gunfight broke out and Jara was fatally shot inside his [music] apartment. The victim was transported to the hospital in stable condition. Her father told investigators that Jara [music] had pointed the gun at him and pulled the trigger, but the weapon malfunctioned. Fortunately, no officers were injured during the incident. This incident reminds us that in moments of crisis, an officer's calm and decisive actions can draw the line between life and [music] death.
