On June 4th, 2023, police stopped a car with a couple of friends after multiple traffic violations. This is what happened next. Sure. If you got it, that'd be great, man. What's your last What's your last name, miss? Oh boy. Was I doing anything wrong? Why are we getting pulled over? Yeah, I'll explain that to you in just a minute. Was where he come from? I lit I So I moved right now right now. I picked him up. I picked him up. Hold on one second, sir. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. I'll talk to you. Okay. I Ubered there. Um a lot going on. I just needed to get him safely home. Okay. I live I literally Okay, I got you. You got insurance on the vehicle. I do. Yes. Okay. Yeah. Can you Can you look at I should have brought my purse. I literally just He said I need my best friend. I just ran out the door. Not the end of the world. So So let me explain this to you. You You wanted to know the reason why I'm stopping you, right? Yes. Okay. So, I'm stopping you because initially I saw you over off of uh H Onida over there. You're stopped there for a good like 60 seconds. You switched seats. That's I met up with him and I said, "You do not need to be driving. I need to drive. I came here to do it and he was like, "No, no, no." And I was like, "No, you do not need to be driving. I came here to do that." Okay. purple. That's why I knew something. I'm sorry. And I'm also So that that was just part of initially why I I kind of picked up on your vehicle. I did your speed northbound on on Haves over there. Well, that was before you before I got No, no. I'm saying after after you were stopped there. I'm sorry. I I got into the car. I'm still trying to It's I've never driven this car before. Fair enough. Okay. And then also when you're going uh eastbound on Glenwood there, was I still speeding? Well, you put your your turn signal on. I was just trying to follow. So, it's not my phone. Okay. Hold on. Hold on one second. Okay. Probably about six blocks you turn put your turn signal on before you even came up. I don't think I even turned it off. But again, like Well, that's what I'm saying. It's unusual and it's against the law drive. I'm sorry. I was just like, let let me finish off. Okay. And then and then as you're coming down here, okay, I got you easily at 46. It's a 30 down here. So, like what's the reason for the speed? Well, I didn't I didn't It's a lot to deal with, you know? I woke up my sleep. I'm going to say it's on me. I literally like And what's crazy is I was supposed to go out with them and I fell asleep. What happened to the uh front uh passenger side of the vehicle? Oh, no. She never came home with us. No, no, he asked what happened to the front passenger side. What happened to the front passenger side of the vehicle? that that that had to be after cuz I I got into the car when we were at that long stop at at the like the stop sign. That was me. So, I was like switching. So, what h what happened prior though? Like how did that damage occur? That was me. I I literally couldn't tell you. Okay. When did that happen? Uh it had to have already happened. I'm not going to lie to you. No offense to her. I appreciate you. You did me the solid. Um I'm on progressive. Uh, shouldn't Okay. She So, so when did it happen? What? What do you mean? There's damage to your There's damage to the front passenger side of the vehicle. I don't I if I can be honest. Uh-huh. Uh, I soldier. No, no. I I need honesty cuz I I'm trying to figure out what's going on. I want to make sure there's nobody that's struck that's laying dead in the roadway or something like that. Well, from what my understanding is, nobody's been struck, but I did come here on top. Give me a second. I did come here just to try and help my best friend. I was frantic. I woke up. I can appreciate that. If I did feed, like I will take I can appreciate that. So, let's get back to the damage. So, when did that damage occur? Me? Yeah. I have no idea what you're talking about. Okay. Well, like obviously this is a nice newer vehicle, right? I I have a problem. Yes. Okay. And like the the front fender is is all messed up. You came from a house party. Okay. If I was feeding, that is that's on me. I will get a ticket like Do you have anything to drink today? No, no, no. I Well, I had a I had I was drinking on the boat earlier today. We were like 2 3 p.m. I was waking up. Okay. Is that I'm doing something wrong? No. No. I I like I said a couple traffic violations not I do want to say something if he did I was not there like I got into the car and like we switched seats at that stoplight that you saw me if he did hit somebody like I really would like to know because I don't know he called me and he was driving and I literally ran to the car and we were no longer in the parking lot. So if something happened I would like to know. Yeah, absolutely. Cuz that's not okay either. So obviously, so just to explain it to you, I I obviously pulled you out because my concern is obviously he's talking about a minute. I can't talk to you without getting him interjecting every 2 seconds. Yeah. Okay. So, what time did you finish drinking today? I finished drinking at like 3:4. We were on the boat. We were I was home. Okay. He's on like I did get home safely and then I fell asleep. He woke me up around like 1:30. We almost two. But he was like, "I can't drive. Please come get me." And I ordered an Uber. Got to bar. Okay. And when I got there, he wasn't there. He was already driving. I ran to his car. Okay. And I Where was he driving at? He was driving. He was trying to drive home. Was he like in the parking lot or we talking the the stop sign where you saw us? Was I was already in the passenger. We were like He was like leaving the parking lot. Okay. And I was like, "Stop driving. Stop driving now because you're either going to hurt me, hurt yourself, hurt someone else. Stop driving now." I feel maybe I'm not fully like the most like sober, but like I stopped drinking around 3:00 and I was asleep. He woke me up. Maybe I'm like a little Yes. 3:00 in the afternoon. I was on a boat, but I was like, "Okay, maybe I'm like a little frantic cuz my best friend is calling here." Sure. I got you. I'm sorry if I did speed. That's not Okay, I got you. Well, well, speed speeding was just one of the things that obviously keyed me into this vehicle. I mean, obviously there's also your turn signal that was like six blocks or so and that's concern and there's some improper ladies like going over the line. So, I wanted to make sure I was just dealing with a lot of him. I didn't mean to like I felt it was best for me to come and get him. Okay. Cuz he was going to drive himself and that was worse than anything else. I had stopped drinking at three showing and I have not drank since. Okay. Any any medications you on? I I mean that's okay.
