thank you Rachel and Marie Ellis at 32 years old was killed on July 14 2023 from an officer-involved shooting in a residential apartment complex the complex is located on Pioneers way in Orlando Florida the name of the woman was made public on Monday by the Orlando Police Department the shooting occurred when officers say she charged at them while wielding two knives a representative of the agency stated that officers responded to a 9-1-1 call that was placed by a man who claimed that his girlfriend was threatening to hurt herself and that she was in possession of a knife she had also been talking to a police crisis negotiation team which arrived by the time she hung up the phone the first time and they were communicating with her over the phone during the duration of the incident the police say that Ellis first walked back into the flat then exited the room with one weapon then returned with a second knife and rushed the policeman two cops both of whom have been trained in the management of Crisis situations discharged their firearms and struck the woman multiple times medical personnel who were present at the scene confirmed that Ellis had passed away I was not able to locate any obituaries and her and her boyfriend's social media profiles have been locked down aside from the pictures I was able to gather so information about her personal life is scant the following is all available body worn camera and Associated media involving this incident viewer discretion is advised what's going on with her snap just I mean she's usually calling her thing but she's got she's thinking all the world's going coming to an end you know I'm with her I mean I take care of her and do everything I can for her but no up in the house just just the knives and you know like box cutters kind of stuff there's no guns or nothing any dogs in the house so she's probably got knives sitting out there because she would start me if I open the door she was going to cut me I'm not trying to press charges a long time to just gonna calm down and snap out of this thing she's acting like it's the end of the world and she wants to you know be done with it I mean that's the last name plus I live here she's not on the lease right but the partner knows that she's here they said it's okay even though I should have got on the lease but I didn't really want to get on her lease and acting like this and I live here I've been here probably three years now and everything's fine pay the rent I had no problems she just I don't know what to do okay so he said she had knives so you know she goes to the cutting Buck thing and just grabbed a bunch of [ __ ] it she uh just got all the knives spread out and I'll try to put them up and she was acting like she was going to kill herself earlier okay so I got off work packed up soon as I think we came home about 20 minutes away is she like drunk or anything right now no she's gonna drink nicest person in the world she starts drinking it's like she wants to fight it what's your name Adam Smith and she was calling me a snitch but she didn't want it called the cop I was trying to hang up until it was not an emergency yeah what's your birthday May 3rd 1979 and what's her name uh Rachel Ellis you know her birthday is I believe it's 9 15 or 90.
