DROP IT. >> ON THE 1ST OF DECEMBER, 2024, a patrol officer in St. Charles, Illinois, was stopped by a passerby who reported that a man carrying a chainsaw had stormed into a nursing home. The situation was urgent. After informing the dispatch center, the officer immediately headed to the nursing home. >> Hey. >> However, the front entrance was locked. The officer knocked for quite some time before a staff member finally opened the door. To make it easier for additional officers to enter quickly, the officer asked the staff member to keep the door open and then proceeded deeper into the nursing home. At a corner, he encountered the suspect holding a chainsaw. The moment the man saw the police officer, he suddenly became agitated.
