It's It's no longer asking. So, we're going to tell you to get out of the car. Nicole had just smashed into the back of another person's car. While multiple witnesses were directly pointing fingers at her, Nicole chose to confront the police officer with pure arrogance. Stop. The blue car is parked behind him. He's outside the car and he's yelling at the girl. Mhm. And what's going on. I thought it was like a This is a spat. And he says she hit me and they tried to take off. All right, I got it from here. I appreciate it. Have a good night. >> So, who's involved? Okay, who's driving? Me. Okay, who all is in it? Just We We Me and her in that car. We just saw it happen, so we just pulled over in case y'all needed any information or anything. We pulled over. I mean, you guys can stay. It's FHP. You can fake an injury real quick. >> I'm But if you need an ambulance, an ambulance needs to come immediately, right? We're in my car, right? I just don't I don't want an argument to start happening. Okay, I'm ready. I'll stay silent. Yeah, that's all I'm worried about. So EMS on the way. Pop back over by your car. injury, and he's totally fine. What you are about to hear is genuinely horrifying because of its cruelty. Nicole did not just crash into the vehicle. She allegedly reversed aggressively and intentionally ran over the victim's foot while he was standing in the street. Are you the registered owner of that vehicle? Maybe. I'm going to figure out. So I'm just trying to get your driver's license information. Okay, so your name's on it though? Yes. >> Okay, cool. I appreciate it. Did you all see her driving? Yes. Did you get out of the car? She didn't get out of the car. She We saw her hit his car. >> You saw him drive You saw her driving? Driving the car. Okay, cool. So um I'm going to work the crash now. Um if I need you guys to You mind filling out statements? Yes, 100%. 100%. Yes. Because I'm working a traffic crash investigation that you're involved in. Okay. Can we walk? That's it. I'm working an investigation. You can't leave if you're involved in an investigation. Also, I can smell the odor of alcohol coming off your breath, and with your speech patterns, I think you've been drinking, so I have to also work a DUI investigation to figure out if you're driving under the influence. So, absolutely, you cannot leave. Yeah, you can hang out by your car if you want to. Do me a favor. It's in park. Is it in park? Yes, sir. Okay, keep it in park. I'm listening to you. Do not move. Do you understand me? If you If you even If you even make any sort of movement as to leaving the scene, I'm I'm I'm going to tase you. Yeah, so Do you want me to get out of my car so you can see me? I'm not going to make you stand out here in the cold because I'm I I I want to be nice, but I'm being dead serious. Do not leave. Do not even make any motions to leave. Cuz you already asked me if you want to leave. No, I obviously already understand that. Yes, just don't Just I'm just I'm telling you don't. Okay? Okay. All right. Hey, how are you doing? Have y'all Did you already speak to the other deputy? A little bit. >> Okay. Did you guys witness crash? Yes. We We saw it happen. Okay. Pulled over just in case y'all needed Okay. We got to say no, so Got you. Good deal. All right, appreciate it. I'll be right back with you. Hang on. Cole had just redefined the meaning of freedom in the worst possible way. She stubbornly clung to the driver's seat as if it were her final lifeboat. After she slammed into my car, she pulled into reverse. Reverse. I'm standing there. She pulled around my car. Drove the car down on my feet. On my feet. Like She drove over your feet? >> She drove the car down on my The the the the cop that you came here and saw, he he When he pulled up, the car was still on me. On my two feet, on my knees, right here. She drove the car down on me. And I'm standing there. I went as far as to say to her like, "Okay." She's looking right at me. Her window is rolled down. She's hearing me. I'm saying, "Okay. We're adults. Why are you doing this?" But, that's not what happened at all. >> I get you. It's not what happened. And you got some people over there they saw what happened. We're going to take their statement into account, too. >> And that's what's going to happen. That's what's going to explain everything. It Would it Would it not explain everything? Having a third party explain what happened as well? I'm not going to talk to you. Just saying. But, all I know is she slammed my car. She backed up, went around, and she drove her car down on my feet. Uh-huh. And bro, I'm going to like I don't even care about the consequences or nothing. It's hard to be a bad man in America, bro. I'm telling you. It's simple. It's not rocket science. And you're here talking about You don't know me from nowhere. I've never seen this girl in my life, bro. I got you. >> She's my manager and whatever. You can go hang out in your car if you want to. I got what I need. Um hey, what's your name real quick? I put your driver's license up here. Okay. So, would you be willing to conduct field sobriety tests to determine your level of sobriety? You would be? No. No? Okay. Um go and step out of the vehicle for me. No, sir. That's not a question. Go and step out. For what reason? I just told you you were under the I believe you're under the influence of alcohol. The moment officers dragged her out of the vehicle, the very first thing she did [music] was call her father for help like a frightened child. But, that was not even the craziest part because she suddenly claimed that she had a bomb on her body. Hey. Don't worry about that. We'll grab it in a minute. I'm good. Go and step out for me. Turn around. You don't have to push me. >> Shut up. Turn around. You can't speak to me like that. Sure. Don't Don't fight him. Just let him. Nobody's fighting anything. I'm just saying. So, I know you live down the road. Um do you somebody you want to call to come pick up the car? I'll call somebody. You want to call your dad? Yep. Okay, cool. Hey. Huh? I got pulled over. Where are you? Right up right outside the house. Do Do you want to talk to her? Tell her what's going on. You can talk to the sheriff. They got me under arrest. >> Sorry to wake you up so early. I know you're probably still mostly asleep. So, your daughter was involved in a traffic crash. Um during our traffic crash investigation, the other deputy here has determined that she is driving under the influence of alcohol. She's being placed under arrest because of that. So, we'll bring your phone with you so that you can have that. You can pull phone numbers out of it or something. >> Hang on. Do you have a vape? I don't have a vape. Oh, nope. Can't have that. They would throw that out once I got up there. Okay. I don't have a vape. You just asked for your vape? You just asked for your vape. Why did you say you don't have a vape? Silly question. All right. Anything illegal? Any narcotics, meth, marijuana, cocaine, heroin, amphetamines, ecstasy? I don't think so. No drugs? No firearms? No bazookas, nothing like that? >> any bazookas are in these pockets. Cool. I would be impressed if you did have one. Me, too. All right. What the [ __ ] Damn, this is a twist to the night. Yeah, you can have a seat. Okay. Where else can I have a seat? Either left or right. Here? I mean You asked. You seem like a good man. I appreciate that. Is this open? You want this open or closed? >> You kind of made them tight. You know what? Yeah, they have to be tight. They're [ __ ] hurting. They They have to be tight. They're really tight. >> I know. You have small wrists. I think I can slip them out. Why would I do that, though? It's happened before. I'm going to talk to mom and dad real quick. I'm going to leave you right here. Or actually, I may have the other deputy do that. How you doing, sir? The car's going to be on this side. I think the other deputy's in this car. If you want to go and speak with him, he can give you some more information. I got to stay here with her right now. So, real quick, cuz I know that they're probably going to ask uh do you want to speak with your mom and dad before you leave? I can't. Okay. Yeah. All right. Storming into a restricted area, insulting officers, and openly challenging Florida law. Sadly, those were the actions of her father. Do not miss the moment reality delivers a devastating blow to both father and daughter. This officer is going to search you. Like I said, uh she's probably going to ask you the same questions as I already asked you. She's going to touch me? Yes. Since you are under arrest, we have to search your entire person before you go into our vehicle and into a booking facility. What's that? I've already been in your vehicle and I've already placed the bong. I'd have seen it. I don't think so. This is a small bong, I guess. I pulled that out of my ass. Well, if there's anything else up there, she'll find it. Go and step out. I am right here. I am going to have you do a little spin here. I just checked nothing, okay. It's all good. I'm fine. Let me take something. Anyways, you can touch me now. Okay, I'll take your wallet real quick, all right? Okay. Do you have anything that's going to stick or poke me or anything like that? You're not going to see anything on your person. No, ma'am. Hey. No more talking. Plead the fifth amendment. Don't do any tests, blood breath tests, or anything. Really? But they already Listen to me. Hey hey hey boss. Re- real quick, if you don't mind, do you mind just standing over by your vehicle? Not while we're doing this. Just let us finish this first. I'll I'll give you a minute to talk to her. Just Give me Give me one second. We just got to finish the arrest. I don't give a [ __ ] about this whole homie. I want a public It's a private parking lot, dude. >> Stop. >> Don't tell me to stop. >> to your vehicle. >> Who the hell are you? Go over to your vehicle or you're going to get charged with resisting, okay? Resisting what? >> My lawful orders. I am telling you you are doing [clears throat] I just did I just gave you a lawful order. What is a lawful order? Florida statute, sir. Name there and get Sir. >> right? It's Charles. Relax. No. What was your name? You're making a bigger issue than it needs to be. Go over in your vehicle. I'll let you Go over in your vehicle. I'll let you talk to Ma'am. Cole's father turned himself into police target number one by ignoring repeated warnings and interfering with a criminal investigation. Florida officers quickly taught him an expensive lesson. I'll let you talk to her in a minute. But whoever's vehicle, go back over there now, okay? I'll let you talk to her in a minute. Okay. Hop over there or I'm going to place you under arrest for resisting, obstruction of justice, and then I'll give you the statue once I place you under arrest for it. I will move and I'll file lawsuits on both of y'all. That's okay. What's your badge number? I will give it to I will give it to both of you. What's your name? My name is Stephanie Wiley. Deputy Barrett. So, hop over there for me, please. You guys got my car keys? She said that Yeah. Yeah. I got the car keys. No, they're not. They're taking your vehicle for you. What the [ __ ] Like What kind of officer is this? Definitely not mine. Here, let me get that for you. Here, LEAN BACK FOR ME. DAD! >> Lean back Lean back for me. He didn't strap me in my car seat. It's not a car seat. It's a chair. Dude, shut the [ __ ] up, you dumb ass [ __ ] It's the same [ __ ] thing. No, it's not. I'm strapped behind my bars. Relax. You all good? I'm strapped back behind the patrol car. Just hang out over here for us, please. We don't need three people going. What's that? We just said we don't need three people going to just hang out behind the car. Ma'am. Relax. What do you need? I just did. Did you take it off? Because you can still reach the seat belt from there. Okay, I I'm not putting it back on right now. We'll put it on later. Give me a favor raise your hand. You swear under penalty of perjury everything you wrote in here is true? Yes, sir. All right, let me get your signature. Where it says your signature. I signed already. That's fine. If it's good, I'll read it Turn around put your hands behind your back. Turn around put your hands behind your back. Turn around put your hands behind Let go. Let go. Let go of your phone right now. Let go of your phone. Let go of your phone. I'm going to give it to you. Justin, who the [ __ ] is You don't even know what you're talking about. You're going to get a lawsuit filed against you for this. You're on private property right here. All right, let's go. Sitting in the back seat of the patrol car, Nicole performed every trick imaginable from fake collapsing to complaining about the seat belt. Why would someone willingly trade leniency for even more serious resisting charges? A sign actually opened me an agency assist call on a sign an offense of which please I have one type of thing. I can't record my daughter getting arrested. You can from a distance. No, but distance there has to be a footage. You can't just make it up as you go. >> I need your shoes, I need your hat, and your hood. I'm telling you you're violating my rights right now. You're going to get me arrested. I hope your body cams are on. >> Always. I'm going to subpoena I'm going to get all this [ __ ] Y'all are [ __ ] It's going to be part of the case. Oh, yeah. I'm sure it is. See you in [ __ ] court. What's that? Seatbelt. Well, you said I'm doing something illegal. You didn't explain what it was. >> I'm not stopping. I don't know. I just put the seatbelt on. I just fell. We weren't even moving. Okay. For God's sakes. Can you please stop falling around in the back? 115 287. I did buckle you in. You took it off. No, I didn't. All right. I'm going to tell you this one last time. Don't take this off, okay? If you're going to complain >> that? If you're going to complain about the seatbelt being off, don't take it off. I just put it on you, all right? I don't want something to happen to you. Leave it on. Okay, then why would you tell me to leave it on after you're not going to do it? Like you wouldn't want something to happen to me. I just did. >> You have it all on recording. Yep. It was on recording. You didn't take it off. You just said, "Why would I care if something happened to you?" Don't take it off then. It wasn't on. Do you want your phone Do you want Do you want your phone to come with you or do you want >> Yes, I want my phone with me. >> Okay, cool. He wants his phone with him. Call supervisor. >> to. I'm about to. Give me a second. I can't do everything at once. Thank you. [ __ ] you. Okay. So, I I'm I'm going to explain this as crystal clear as possible so that you do not do the same thing that he did. You are absolutely free to your first amendment right. You can call me whatever you want to. You can say whatever you want to. You can do whatever you want to within reason. However, comma if I'm doing something right here, do it from a distance, okay? Coming up behind us, we're having to stop what we're doing here to deal with you guys. You guys are yelling over our shoulders. You guys are obstructing our investigation. And then when we tell you guys like two, three, four, five times, it then becomes an issue. I I I said it so many times, and then I told him if you keep doing this, I'm going to arrest you. And he kept doing it. So, now he's arrested. Okay? Does that make sense? Not really. Okay. I don't know how to explain it any better, but that's my explanation, okay? Good job. It would work It would work the same, but I I promise you I am, dude. This side. Either way. Either way. Mhm. You'll never know what I was going to do. >> coming in, okay? Answer that. I wasn't going to question Is that a [ __ ] camera? It's right here. Why did you take that off? Look, I don't honestly know why I just did that, but I showed you it. I did it in front of you. And y'all didn't do it right. Okay. I'm going to put it back on. >> Please put it back on cuz I'm not trying to get in trouble. And seriously. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. No, babe, honestly, it just came out. I didn't put them on? Okay. And this one is why this one is like that, too, cuz that's the same way the other one was. Look, we'll readjust those. On everything I love and own, why would I do that? That is a good question. I think your feet are a little bigger than your hands, they'd be harder to get out. That's pretty cool. What's the problem? Don't do that again. That was kind of cool. These hurt, okay? These hurt so bad. Well, they could have stayed loose, but you slipped out of them. That's not my fault. That's the bitch's fault that put them on me. Well, she didn't pull them off of you. I'm not the bad guy. Just remember this basically like There was skin in in this instance, it's like if we ask you questions, you don't have to answer them without like a lawyer [music] present. >> I think I did. Can I get me water now? Not yet. That's why I just done. No, it's got a 20 minutes on water Why is the time now? This the the holding cell they should put you in there there should be a water fountain. There's there's If not in crisis No, no, you're in here. They have water fountains and toilets in each of them. Oh my god, water right there. Isn't that water? That is not water. Yeah. That one doesn't work. It's over there. Go get it. It's got a little sink in there to wash your hands. This actually does have something for you to read. The cold claimed that the handcuffs accidentally slipped off and that she did not intentionally escape them. Yet, she continued using vulgar insults toward the female officer. Eventually, she announced that she was pleading the fifth and would remain silent. So, you can reread this if you want to, and then that part is just what you like you read that and so like you understand that part. You want to read You're signing right there. But, this just says that you understand what I read to you, but if you want to reread the whole thing, that's cool. All right. I'll ask you if any of these questions you want to answer. Mhm? You don't answer the questions? If I ask you then? Okay. Well, I'll tell you what. If you want to sit back down, we'll go through and then you can answer which ones you want to and then not the ones you don't want to. And then if you don't I to answer any of them, that's cool. How much How much have you had to drink? No. Where were you drinking? I wasn't drinking anywhere. So, you were drinking? I plead the fifth. Okay. So, does that So, I plead the fifth. Okay. But, does that mean that you're not going to answer any more questions at all? Yes, sir. Okay. All right. All right. Does it ring? Nicole was charged with driving under the influence, causing property damage and criminal mischief. Her father was charged with obstruction of justice and resisting an officer without violence. This was one of the most expensive lessons they could possibly learn. Do you think the officer's strict approach was enough to stop [music] that arrogant and explosive attitude? Or does the public have a different opinion on how people like this should be disciplined? Next, there was the case of a student being handcuffed and led away in front of his friends and teachers. That was too high a price to pay for a moment of carelessness. But, she is 18, so I want to fully press everything we can on her. I understand. Even sure of her name because like I said, I'm just assisting in the case. And then you following behind her. And then words were exchanged. We don't know what the words were cuz we don't have audio on surveillance. And then you attacked her. I have to. Can you please walk me out of school? What What do you mean walk me out? Can we not walk through school in the No, I have to for our safety. We have to put you in cuffs now. We have a case at McDonald's, but nobody is ordering a Happy Meal here. The craziest part is that [music] police were investigating an assault while the suspect had completely vanished without a trace. Um is she black or is she Mexican? Mexican. Mexican. Mexican. Okay. She has really like dark eyebrows, though. Dark eyebrows. She's been at our house for like 3 weeks straight until like yeah. crop top and gray sweatpants Gray sweatpants, okay. When you So, you guys used to be friends? Oh, yeah. I wasn't. Where did she live when you were friends? We She was always at my house. I was never at hers. Okay. It was my house every single day. I've got confirmed battery charges from an 18-year-old female 18-year-old juvenile female. She's got scratches and stuff on her. Hello. What's up? Footage captured the suspect aggressively approaching the victim. The victim's mother explained that her daughter had recently suffered a ligament injury and was trying to turn her life around positively only to be dragged back into trouble by old friends. Who's the manager? You're the manager? Okay, can I get a look at some footage? Let me just check. We had a We had a fight that just occurred out here in the parking lot. That's what we're here for. I'm I'm Jake. I'm sorry. >> Okay. Okay. So, I'm Rodriguez. Um Okay, let me look on the camera. Yeah, you can I'm I'm with you. Okay. Sorry, they're weird about stuff and I want to make sure I don't get in trouble. >> I got you. I'm from Ohio, so I just moved recently. Got you. Yeah, I'm just going to have you just sign a video release form. Is that okay? >> get one. I'm I'm going to bring you one. We have one, okay? Okay, yeah. Let's go. Yeah, I'll give it to you and then you can come back after that, okay? All right. Sorry, it's annoying I know. Just sign there, there, there, and there. Guys, guys. Hey. Hey, can we quiet Can we quiet down a little bit? I'm sorry. Do you know exactly who it was? Uh Somewhere over here? Yeah, somewhere over there. >> And do you know like About 20 minutes ago. Should be uh two females. Fast forward. I'm trying to find them as well. I appreciate it. You just Yeah, that's normal. There we go. How can I get this? Export maybe? Is there a way for you to export that to me? I got to get you guys a better system. >> Yeah, I know. It's annoying. Thank you. We got footage. I need to ask you something. Does that impress her? Does it back in her story? Yeah. My daughter's Yep, whoever it was that she's claiming did it Yeah. walked up to her real aggressive and started swinging. Okay. Yeah. So, she was within her rights to swing back if she did, which I didn't really see. >> She didn't I've been on her. Okay, long story short, back home Has this been a problem before though? She picks the wrong friends. So yeah, she's gotten into it because she picks the wrong friends, learns better, moves on, then they come back. Here is supposed to be a clean slate. And it has been. And it's just She just went to church last night to talk to her pastor about this and two hours with her pastor because now she has Her dance season's done cuz she tore her ACL. And she wanted to pick better friends, do all this better stuff than all this. So yeah, I'm glad to know it. Yeah. Quiet down, little one. Let the cops do their business. Her parents kick her out very frequently. Out. You know, since moving here, that's like the fourth one of her friends that the parents kick out all the time. I don't get it. We got to We got to work on these friends. Yes, we are working on that. And like I said, at church last night she sat for like two hours with her pastor and she does realize it. She has such a good future. She's a baton twirler. Mhm. Uh essentially, what happens from here is I collect all the evidence that I have. Put it in a case file against this person. It's turning false for her or her arrest for that matter. Okay. One day after the attack, the 18-year-old suspect named Jade was officially arrested right at school. She claimed she was innocent and insisted that she had been waiting for police at home the entire time. Okay. Perfect. Thank you. All right. Stay safe. Hello. Hi. Yes. Hi, I'm Officer Crisera. Good morning. Okay, are you the investigating officer here? I am assisting in the case. The investigating officer is not here today, okay? But before we start talking, I'm going to read you something, okay? It's your rights. I have to read this to you. I understand. Do you understand each of the rights that I have explained to you? Yes, sir. And having these rights in mind, do you wish to answer questions and make a statement today? Yes, sir. Okay. All right, so tell me what happened. I know something happened at the McDonald's occurred at the McDonald's. >> Okay. Um well, first, my question is yesterday, whenever the investigation happened and stuff, as as 18 as an and stuff, I understand right now is if I'm still in school, it's it's weird because my mom is very upset right now cuz she saw you drag me out. But yeah, at the same time, I'm 18 and I'm about to get taken to a county jail and stuff for something that I haven't even been spoken to about. I didn't even know police were involved. I called off of work yesterday, stayed home in the case that there was an issue out of it, in the case that I needed to be home to make a statement for something. The first thing I did, I went straight home and I I went I saw my mom, what do I do? You know, what do I do then? You know, we talked we go to you know, whatever whatever. Nobody came to us I was just going to leave it be or whatever because I mean, I didn't I I wasn't I wasn't going to press charges. I mean, I wasn't whatever. >> [snorts] >> Cool. Nobody I I nobody came to speak to me about this. This is my first time coming, you know, hearing about this like I'm in school and and they're asking me my they you know, whenever they ask me my name and he says that they're looking for me and that there's an email that I was suspect in things. I haven't I didn't even know police I she has my my full name. She has my phone number. You guys have my address. You I mean, if you guys looked at the cameras my my license plate it was on there. I'm not running. I showed up to school so I'm not running. >> I got you. I'm not hiding from you guys. I would have spoken to you guys yesterday and now I'm at school and I'm about to get perp walked perp walked out of school for something whenever it complained about a hateful situation involving betrayal and cruel comments made at church. Apparently, that was the reason the 18-year-old decided to settle her conflict with her fists. I don't know if you guys looked at the cameras, but she she pushed on me first sir and I know not to hit on people first. I know I know to me whenever somebody whenever somebody hits me hits me, that's when I act. >> self-defense. Okay. I my mom if she's taught me anything, she's taught me that. She the second that she went and she pushed on me like that, I to me that was Where Where did When did happen at? That happened right out like outside the McDonald's. Was that Was that So that was before you started swinging on her. So that would have been caught on surveillance. That was That was like right before right like right before. No, that was like in like right where that What we see on camera is her walking away away, the victim. I'm not even sure of her name cuz like I said, I'm just assisting in the case and then you following behind her. And then words were exchanged. We don't know what the words were cuz we don't have audio on surveillance. And then you attacked her. That's what we seen on camera. >> Is there cameras inside of the McDonald's? Yes. Okay, did you guys Is there I don't know if there's audio. I doubt there's audio and stuff like that. >> Yeah, I doubt it. Yeah, I doubt it. Inside of McDonald's, did you guys look at the before of inside McDonald's? Like I said, it's not my case, so I don't know what what the investigator will say. Before inside of McDonald's I She said to call my name about four or five times. She said, "Can Can we talk? Can we talk?" I said, "No. I'm not No. I'm not interested in talking to you. No." After she "Can Can we talk? Can we talk? Can we talk?" Finally when that's talked to her, cool. I looked at her in her face. I said, "My issue with you is that she had She was doing some weird My boyfriend Whatever. She did weird things. Whatever. My issue with you, I don't like you. You did this, this, and this. You had tried to get They had She had tried to get How did the argument start? The moment the officer informed [music] her about the surveillance footage showing Jade chasing and attacking the victim from behind, her entire defense collapsed [music] instantly. treated her bad like rolling something up, which could have gotten my boyfriend involved in it because obviously that's his twin brother. That is my issue with her. That's the reason why I don't like you. And I'm not a fake person. And I'm It's It's starting the argument with him too. That's really none of it, but because now they're they're trying to forgive her for it and stuff. And I'm like, "Why are you guys forgiving her and stuff?" And so So was she at the McDonald's and you just happened to run into her or you I did not go and I did not >> So you didn't plan to meet up with her or anything like that. >> I promise I did not plan to meet up with her. I mean, everybody goes to the McDonald's. I literally I My friends I I can I can give you their names to get their statements. I asked them whenever we first got there I said can we leave? Can I literally asked them can we leave because I did I was just I did not want to She asked can we talk? No, I do not want to talk to you. Like I I'm not I was not trying to You know what I mean? In inside of the McDonald's I again I don't know if you guys look but if you guys look she a good four or five times tried to engage with me first and I shut it down before I finally gave in. Even still then it was fun for me. >> she ever hit you in the McDonald's or was just engaging and trying to >> it was just a conversation. It was just a conversation. >> Okay. It was just a conversation and then whenever the only reason I had went back up to her is because she she had told him something very very >> did she push you at? Was that outside the McDonald's or inside? That didn't get that didn't get captured on camera. >> So I don't know where that happened at. Sir, I if you look at it I pull up the cameras with you guys I will point to right to it. I I can point to you guys like I don't I mean I know you guys watch the cameras Yeah, the the camera footage is in evidence so I don't have access to it right now cuz it's already been submitted into evidence but you'll be able to see it once you go to court on the case, okay? Right. So am I getting am I for sure getting arrested because >> Yes, ma'am. Yeah, you are. Okay. This is the arrest affidavit. What I'm going to do for you though is um >> also getting charges on this? Not as of now, no. But until we further the case because there is a possibility that we do catch her pushing you then you'll have the opportunity to fill out a statement with us and then we can uh Okay. >> further the investigation, okay? The officer explained that the camera footage showed Jade throwing multiple punches while the victim was trying to avoid the attack. Police then proceeded to handcuff Jade and strangely enough she suddenly became completely cooperative. But if I was the one who had called the police would she be the one who was I I I mean I really I I didn't I wasn't told about this and now I'm about to get put a block time in jail. I was not in I was not Nobody came to me about my side, and now I'm instantly because she's the one who went. I I mean, yes, I understand I had the opportunity to as well, but I I wasn't going to sit here and press charges. I got you. Well, unfortunately, she called the police. We did an investigation. Um like I said, on surveillance, it doesn't show you pushing her. Um if >> Her pushing me. Yeah, her pushing you, I meant. Yeah. Um so, unfortunately, what we have is you attacking her. So, it shows her walking away from you and you following behind her and then swinging at her from behind. >> And even though that she's continuously in inside McDonald's, she she left McDonald's. The whole time I was at The whole time I was at McDonald's. Me and my friends were just getting lunch. Me and my friends were I was just eating lunch with me and my friends. I went inside. I asked him, "Can we leave?" He goes, "Oh, no, I really want McDonald's." All right, cool, whatever. I can sit here. Now she's trying to She's trying to talk to me and stuff. But like And then I I mean, me and my friends, we sit outside everywhere. If I mean, I can tell you multiple times multiple every day other days where you can look at cameras where we we sit inside the car and we eat right where we Like that wasn't me trying to stay at the scene or anything right after because it was a small confrontation inside McDonald's. Actually, inside McDonald's, I ended up me and her we were still and she just kept on talking over me and getting loud and getting loud and getting loud. I was walking away from her. >> have Yeah, split up at that point. >> I I Sir, I walked away from her. I completely in the middle I Me and her were sitting right here. We were having a conversation. She said, I literally got up and I and I walked back to my friends and I said, "No." Like You feel me? I mean, it it's all there. She left McDonald's. Her friends First of all, her friends who she was with I This is her and everything. Her friends left her, so she was waiting for a ride. She left McDonald's after I was there and came back to McDonald's knowing I was still there. She left and came back with a friend. Well, like I said, um if we >> not looking like that's not like coming back like you know you like you know what I mean? I'll have that officer look at footage inside if he hasn't already. Like I said, I'm not sure if he has or he hasn't. >> Yeah. But, what I could tell you is from the outside footage, it shows, like I said, and I'll say it again, it shows her walking away from you and then you kind of following behind her and then swinging, taking multiple swings at her. Okay? That's what it shows on surveillance from what we have as of now. >> Right. >> Like I said, when you get when you get Just hold on, let me talk. When you get out, um if you want to contact an officer and say, "Hey, this is what went down inside the McDonald's, can you review the footage inside?" the officer will follow up and then you'll be able to make your statement, okay? So, so right as I as I as I go in, I I I'm for sure there's no questioning, there's no reviewing, there's no nothing to prove my point before I go and spend the night in jail tonight, sir? You won't spend the night. You'll have a bond. So, if your parents decide to bond you out, you'll be out by today. Okay? So, before I go and sit in a jail cell, there's no further investigation that can be done? >> We already have probable cause to make the arrest. Just look at this. Jade was begging officers because she was terrified that people would see her being arrested. Honestly, if you are brave enough to punch someone at McDonald's, you should probably be brave enough to walk out to the patrol car, too. Sir, can we can you at least wait until between passing periods? I can't wait. We're busy. Please do not do this. Please wait two, three minutes. >> We'll wait till the for the passing period. >> it's it's coming up. Okay. All right, we'll wait wait till the turn. All right. And who's going to bond her out? She don't She don't have any bank slips. In the pocket? >> Yeah, I don't Adult female 10-15. Okay. Did my mom text her anything, please? Yes. Oh. Your mom already knows, but uh you can tell us she's ready to be transported. >> [music] >> And Mama's going to come pick up her car, so I have the keys on me. So her My keys are here, and everything else is in my car. They took Just say they You know, they asked questions, and they took a statement, but they're they're still detaining me. And then she'll have a bond $250 bond through a bail's bond. $250 You were just going to throw it in my wallet. I got it. I got it. All right, that transition is over now. All right. And do you have anything in your bag, ma'am, that we need to know about that's illegal or >> Oh, we'll give it to Mama. Oh, you can get that to Mama? Oh, perfect. Oh, nice. All right, perfect. No, I won't be going through your belongings, ma'am. I mean, no, ma'am. No, sir. My Wait, what? Yeah. >> sorry. I'm just waiting for the paperwork, and then we're going to go. Can I give you a piece of your advice, ma'am? Yes, sir. If you would have never said I mean, this probably would have ended up happening eventually, uh, whatever. But it probably went down a different way. If you would have never said that when you was walking through that door this morning, I would have never known that was you. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry I made you mad. Sometimes you just got to keep your mouth closed, though. I know. You get out the door when you After you walk past us, then you get out the door, you can say whatever you want to, and we wouldn't have heard you. I know, but it's frustrating whenever certain people say whatever they want to. It's It's It's But that's how my team is. I know. You know, that's like right now, we was some mean, dirty cops, and we said whatever we wanted to, and you couldn't do anything. Is it fair? No. Thank you. You're welcome. You know. All right. All right, miss. I'm going to uh We'll go straight out here, okay? Make a right. Hey. And then go. Take care. The lady was transported to the station. She was jailed and released later the same day after posting bond. She initially faced a felony charge, but because of her age, it was later reduced to a first-degree misdemeanor battery charge. If she had listened to people around her and controlled her behavior from the beginning, she could have had a much brighter future ahead. Let's see what people are saying in the comments section. Dab turkey and the intervention of canine police have quelled any reckless behavior of the next generation of Gen Z. Do I know you? Do you know who you are? You a dab turkey. Those the only two words you know, or do you know any more than just two? I do. A dab turkey. DAMN! GET OUT! I SEE YOU AND YOU JUST PULLED A GUN ON ME. >> HELL NO. HOLD ON. LET ME HOLD ON. OH, YOU DON'T WANT me to record that? Can you get my jacket back up, bro? It's cold out here, bro. I'll get you warm in a second. Aaliyah thought she was only going to receive a warning about her driving skills, but she never expected that the cigarette in her passenger's hand would become the VIP ticket placing both of them directly under police attention. Hey guys. What's up, dear? How are you? I'm good. Good. You got your driver's license on you tonight? Can I see it, please? Is this your vehicle? Yeah, it's supposed to say my dad's name. What's your dad's name? Okay. Reason I stopped you is cuz when you make a right-hand turn like that, you got to turn into the inner lane and then signal out. You turned into the second lane, okay? Okay. Sir, do you got an ID on you? For work. I'm sorry, I didn't hear you. I just asked, that's all. Cool. How old are you? Him. Cuz smoking age in Akron is over 21 and you don't look like you're that. Yep. So, please provide your identification. If you don't, you'll be placed under arrest. I told you, smoking age in Akron is 21. Yep. I'm in the passenger. I'm not driving. You talk to the driver. Mhm. Being uncooperative. Boy, you's a For what? He refused to identify himself during a lawful investigation and tested the officer's patience under the flashlight. He even escalated the confrontation by insulting the officer as a jabber turkey, slang for a useless idiot. You's a Both of y'all laughing. Talk to me. Call y'all sergeant. Yeah. Who you talking about? >> You can call our sergeant. Calling right now. No, you have to. I do not have to call your sergeant. Okay, then. What are you going to call him? Because you're you're trying to get me for what? For first smoking. What? Okay. Smoking What? How old are you? Are you 21? Hey, street lawyer. Who you talking about? I'm in the passenger seat. I don't got to say Tell y'all, okay? Yeah. Like that. Yeah. Why you talking so much? Because Why Why you flashing your light in my face? >> Why you yelling at me? Cuz you came over here flashing your light in my face. I want to see if I knew you. That's why I know you. Did she flash her light in my face? No. I'm talking to you. You're on the right. a report? She She behind my like that. Oh, okay. I'll slash mines in your face, too, boy. Damn. Hey, why are you being like this? Why can't we all be chill? What? You like it? Much brighter. Uh you right cuz you got that big bulb light, but it's cool. Yeah. But yeah, you just yelling. Cuz why you came over here flashlighting my face? >> I wouldn't have done that if I knew who you were. Would I know who you who you are? You can jab turkey. Those are the uh only two words you know in English, you know? No more English I do. A jab turkey. What's that? I don't know. I have to ask the other officer out there. Jab Jab turkey. Jab. J A B? Yeah. Get hit. Is it on Urban Dictionary? >> Get hit. It's the new lingo. Jab turkey. Y'all got to get hit. They know I'm doing everything. Go ahead and search it. Remember this. Never reach under a car seat while officers are giving commands during a detention. Because of that single action, Shane suddenly found himself staring down the barrel of a police firearm. All right, bud. I'm going to have you shut the car off and I'm going to get you out. Huh? Oh, I'm sorry. Yeah. Yeah. That's not how this works. Are you a minor? Yes. No, you won't switch sides. It's my turn to follow his commands. All right. All right. Go ahead. Put your hands behind your head for me, okay? I'm going to get you out the same way that I do everyone else. I'm going to go ahead and interlace your fingers for me. Thank you. You can then step on out, but face the opposite way of me, okay? Nothing's going to poke me, stick me, right? Mhm. Well, her mom wanted to know what are y'all doing here so we can call for You forget to tell somebody You can't tell us? You can't What can't I got to think of something. All right, get off the phone. Lean forward. Lean forward. Go ahead and lean forward. All right. Tell them her dad owns the car and he's picking it up. Get off the phone. So, what are you going to do about my mom? All right. All right, man. Go ahead and lean forward. Just set that thing on the dash. >> y'all get out of the car for? We got to get everybody out of the car. For what? Because we got >> Because that's what we're doing right now. We don't have to give you a reason. Get out of the car. >> he's obstructing. Put that thing down. Even though he still appeared shocked after officers drew their weapons, his brain apparently had not fully understood the seriousness of the situation because he continued making ridiculous statements afterward. Like that. Relax. Why y'all beating him up? No. What? Why y'all on him like that? Cuz he Yeah, he resisting. DON'T GOT TO. HE AIN'T DOING NOTHING. HE A PASSENGER. HE DOES NOT IDENTIFY HE DON'T HAVE TO. DRIVING. BECAUSE HE'S SMOKING. SO, WHAT? SO, WHAT? SO, WHAT? What are you going to do about me? I was smoking, too. I charged YOU. I'M A 19. I told y'all to call his y'all sister mom in the car. Get in the back of the car. What I want to jail for? >> Let us see. What I want to jail for? Who is up in the front there? The The man was arrested and charged with obstruction of justice, drug possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Meanwhile, the 19-year-old woman only received a traffic citation and was allowed to leave the scene. Acting arrogant and using incorrect legal knowledge to challenge police is not a smart strategy. After everything that happened, let's see what people are saying in the comments section. What happens next when a quarrel between [music] two friends officially turns into a criminal case? They cut on the inside of her lip. If I was punched several times in the face, there'd be marks on it. There would be If I was being dragged If you would If I dragged If I dragged you Like, how did she drag you? Oh, by my hair. She dragged me by my hair. My wig is off. It's in the bathroom. So, I had a wig on she dragged me by my hair. Grabbing her girlfriend by the hair and dragging her out the door like a sack of trash were the actions that placed Saraya directly in police sights. Don't look away from the video because the officers are about to teach Saraya a serious lesson about anger management. We're going to go in with you. So, her car is gone then? It's not here? Uh I think that's her car right there, that black one. Oh, that button you saw. Why is all this doo-doo out here? Uh I don't know. Somebody came in here dogging. Who got their dog in here and he called maintenance to come get it out. They not sure what it is. You don't even have any sense. And then first, scrambling around. It's all her fault. That's disgusting. And they just left She's not letting me turn it off. It's there. She's not letting me turn it off while we were Oh, she's on it? No, I don't know. Yeah. Yeah. She's holding the what? You need to open the door. There you go. She's allowed to come in and get her stuff. Yeah, tell me what happened earlier. She can She can stay out there. Well, she can come in with us if she likes to. You're good to go. Go ahead. You're good. Tell me what happened earlier. Oh, what you mean? What What's earlier like? What time? >> Today. Oh. So, they came here. Well, they had somebody in and she seen that I had somebody in here and she got mad and she fought me all the way She drove me all the way out the door. She drove you? Mhm. How did that happen? What you mean? Like how did she drag you? Oh, by my hair. She dragged me by my hair. My wig is off. It's in the bathroom. So, I had a wig on. She dragged me by my hair and dragged me all the way outside. She swore that her girlfriend's mother and three other people had stormed into the house and attacked her. But, when officers photographed the evidence, the only thing they found was a tiny cut. She called her mom. She told her mom to come and her mom put up with her and like three other people and when I let them in, they all jumped on my mom. They all jumped on All of them did? Where do you have any marks or any anywhere? Siraya. I know. No, I'm sitting right here. Sitting right here. I don't know who who jumped on you. Did I Yeah. Let me see. Hold on. Hold on. Look, let me just take a picture of your face first. Look that way. All right, now look that way. What's your name? Siraya. That's all right. All right, now show me that injury in your mouth that you showed. All right, what about your arms? Let's see your arms. Nothing. Let me get pictures of them. I'm not on. Okay. Other side. Put your hands over. Let me see your legs. Can I get the back side of your legs, please? All right. You're saying that that you guys got in an argument. And she she jumped on you and dragged you out of the house. And you have that mark inside your mouth during that whole thing. Anything else? And then and then when she came here, she other people came in and they all jumped on you. He thought this was only a minor fight, but besides [music] the victim suffering a broken elbow, police also discovered that Soraya had secretly photographed the victim's ID and social security card to publicly shame her on Snapchat. Yeah, she called she called when she called her mom and they all got out of the car and they were sitting at the birthday and I didn't want to let them in at first. And then I opened the door and I opened the door. Well, why did you open it? I did. I got it. Okay. Okay. Thank you. When they all when they all came in and they jumped on you, what what were they doing? What do you mean? You said they jumped on you. So, how how how did they do that? That's what I'm asking. Oh, like she was she was standing at the door and she pushed the door open. She not here right now though. She not with him right now. But when she did she stood right here and she took she put the door open. She started hitting you in the face. How many times? I don't know. All of them were doing So, there's one person hitting you in the face. Yeah, I think. Okay. Closed fist open hand. >> her behind you there. Cops are there. So, so here's what we're going to do. All right, I'm going to call Mark here in a minute and just see what Mark's statements and stuff are. Mhm. Um we're going to go ahead and place you under arrest for felony battery. And she's got a fracture on elbow. I'm going to walk her this way. Will you have them come out and open the door? You've ever been arrested before? Mhm. Our first time. All right. Seraya's mother appears and defends her daughter. She claims Amari broke her arm because it got caught in the door when Seraya tried to push them out of the house. Perhaps this is a perfect scenario that directors could add to their movies. That picture you guys in bed, though. And she posted on there Oh, my god. Oh. You're all right. And she posted what? She posted my social security number. Where'd she post that at? On Snapchat, but she deleted it. She didn't tell y'all that, though. No, she didn't tell me that. Y'all know. What's she doing there? Be careful. Listen, don't call nobody on your phone. Just hold on to it. She was here alone. She said when she had guests that they were knocking on the door trying to get in, they the guests came out and Amari barged in. When Amari came in, she jumped on my daughter. And that's how my daughter who had a wig on her head last night when she came to my house and I was off her head. She said Amari then dragged her out of the house and then whatever happened outside happened outside. My daughter goes back in and that's when Maya and I even spoke to Amari's mother this morning and she admitted all came back in and the girl jumped on my child. Mhm. And that's how Seraya ended up with a busted lip. Seraya said she told them to get out and she tried to she did try to get them out and Amari's arm got caught in the door when they were leaving out. So, it's not like she took her and slammed My daughter's too weak to slam down a girl that's twice her size. She Her arm Her mother even told me her arm got caught in the door and that's how her arm got that way. Not from a slam on the ground. Yeah. So So it's just unfortunate that she didn't have anyone here to defend her and everybody's going against what she said and she's going and she's going to jail for with a felony battery charge. Well, there like I said I'm investigating two incidents. >> and she's going to jail for a felony. And when I when I talked with her, she didn't mention a different girl during the first incident. She mentioned her which which is the girl that got her arm broken. >> Right, with the dreads. That's what I'm talking about. >> incident though. That's not the first >> No, that was the first incident. Her arm got hurt on the second incident when Soraya tried to get her arm out of the car seat. Her arm got hurt on the first. I got my story straight. You guys have a different story. My investigation is very clear. It's all on body camera and I know that but you guys weren't here either. You're you're going back to word of mouth as well. Now, I am investigating the second incident that occurred. I still have a phone call to make to somebody she said she was on Facetime live with and uh so I'll call her and talk with her about the second incident and if charges can be developed from that second incident, I will do so. Well, what I'm saying is with our with our conversation right here, you just told us that she got her arm hurt in the first incident. She didn't. Mhm. Okay. Well, that that's what you say. That's what you say. That's what you say. That's what your daughter told you. >> So on this right Your daughter told him something different. The other person told him something different. But mom wasn't here either during the first part. Okay, from the mother of the other girl's daughter also. But what he's saying is your daughter when we asked her about it didn't mention anything about another girl even being there. The only person >> I was on Facetime and she was talking with you. She was talking to me about Amari. She said Maya. No, she said Maya. You mean Amari. >> get in the names mixed up. I promise you I was on Facetime when you came in and I think she said they said she had to get off the phone. She said Maya and I think the name It's Amari and it's Amari. >> Amari, Amaya It's two different names. And when she was on Facetime with you if you go back and watch your body camera footage Soraya believed she could manipulate the truth until the officer announced that the arrest could no longer be delayed. When you injure someone badly enough to break bones, do not expect police to sit around listening to fabricated [music] stories. So, we have clear we have a girl with a broken elbow with consistent and her story is consistent with getting that that injury. And we have your daughter with she is saying that I was dragged through the house. I They were dragging me through the house and they were beating me up. They punched me several times. And the only injury she has is a a cut on the inside of her lip. If I was punched several times in the face there would be marks on it. There would be If I was being dragged If you would If I dragged If I dragged you down the stairs and outside, you would have marks on your arms. You would have things consistent with this. There is none of that. All there is is a a cut on the inside of her lip. I'm trying to get into somebody's apartment and I put my arm in and they closed the door. I can't tell they can tell me assault for me trying to break into that when they just got finished jumping on me. For If I just got jumped on and I'm trying to close my door and you're the person is reaching their arm in the door and it gets slammed. So, I get charged with assault? >> That's what he's looking for. >> But that's what you're saying. Well, here's the deal. She's 19. She's 19. I've done a comprehensive investigation. Whether you agree with the investigation or not, on the on on this stage we develop probable cause. A reasonable doubt is proven in court. Right? So, you guys have You can get an attorney. You can go and prove beyond a reasonable doubt in court. On the stage where we're at right now, I've clearly I've clearly established probable cause for the arrest or I would not have arrested her for battery. The reason why it's a felony is because there's a broken I don't know. They can't find them. The only people that I know that were involved from both people is the same the same person initially. So, and I'm going based upon um a comprehensive investigation. So, that far as I'm concerned, that's it that's that's the end of our discussion. She's 19. She was a juvenile, we discuss more. That's the end of our discussion. My advice to you is to contact an attorney in reference to your daughter. She's going to be held it's a it's domestic related. She's going to be held overnight and she'll see a judge in the morning. I understand that. Okay. >> You got to handle it with the court situation, but the other party just go go home and go free. The riot was transported to the station and would face a judge the following morning. No matter how she tried telling her version of events, the evidence at the scene simply did not match her story. There's still an investigation ongoing. The investigation still ongoing. The investigation is still ongoing. I'm still doing I'm still working here. We I stopped to talk to you. That's because we do not have criminal charges on them right now. Okay. There's a better. We're we're finished. But uh But you guys like I said, I would I would hire an attorney. I said I'm not done with my investigation. I can't I can't drive to where they're at and go arrest them if I develop probable cause. I mean, come on. At this point in time, there was no cause to hold them. So, it's Okay. I understand your emotions in reference to your daughter, but but but I'm not So, we've got we've got multiple incidents happened and and I'm investigating everything. I'm investigating everything. So, how how do we How do How does all this going to play out because I heard her say that we forced ourselves >> Well, everyone's got their story, right? >> Right. Um so, she's arrested right now. Okay. >> So, she's going to go to jail for felony battery. Um obviously, she's got her story. We document everything that they say. Mhm. There is from I was there for the initial investigation, but obviously, there is I know that >> water. Okay. I told you you were under arrest for obstruction. We're going to read you your rights. We're going to search your car. We have a lawful order. That's all I said. I didn't know it was in my shoe. All right, that's why I said, "Can I take my shoe off?" That's why I took my shoe off and you saw me take my shoe off. I didn't know what was in it. So, Ashley, do you have anything else hidden on you? I believe we're having a female officer come. Well, that's fine. You know, that's fine. There's a on my period.
