turns out the man was carrying a BB gun tell you right now you're carrying a badge and a gun you can't do that it's a BB doesn't matter while a BB gun is not a firearm it is still considered a weapon doesn't matter if it's a BB gun I didn't know that looks like a real gun doesn't it well all all of them do looks like my gun it's all baby gun yeah but let's say you decide that you're gonna show this someone his gun I would never do that doesn't matter the fact is that you lied in the beginning well I you identified yourself as a US marshal I apologize for that so you're going around playing cop is there any way I can catch a break no yes the suspect was charged with impersonation of an officer and later pled guilty he was sentenced to four months incarceration followed by one year of supervised release as well as a 100 dollar fine next up we head to Cleveland Ohio where officers are responding to a frantic call reporting a dog who's hanging off of a balcony by its leash the following was captured on two of the officers body cams now I'm gonna give you a heads up this one is pretty tough to watch those are the downstairs neighbors who called in the initial report no one is home upstairs and the door is locked and they cannot get to the dog to help it it's okay buddy it's okay it's okay it's okay the officer stands on the porch railing to give the pup a boost from below to help take the pressure off of his throat it's okay it's okay buddy it's okay the dog is hanging by his collar and is in danger of choking to death give me your knife give me your knife oh my God it's okay buddy Michael um give me your knife I know don't lie to me give me your knife while balanced on the narrow ledge below two officers try to cut the dog's collar off without hurting him he's coming down coming down oh it's alright alright the dog takes a pretty hard fall but like a good boy he walks it right off the dog was immediately taken to a vet for a thorough exam treats and lots of belly rubs thanks to the quick actions of these officers this scary incident had a very happy ending okay now let's head over to Washington State where the King County Sheriff's Office helicopter Guardian 2 is responding to a distress call from a mountain climber who's trapped on the side of a cliff this heart stopping rescue was captured on a helmet cam as well as the helicopter's onboard camera the climber is stuck on a mountain summit known as the haystack with no roads or paths anywhere nearby using an electronic pulley the officers lowered hundreds of feet down the side of the mountain the cliff is incredibly sheer and the climber is in a dangerous position and can't climb up or down once the officer makes contact with the mountain he uses hand signals to communicate with the pilot to direct him closer to the climber don't move don't move most mountain rescues are the result of an inexperienced climber like this one who found himself trapped in a location he couldn't get himself out of hey hi don't move alright OK are you injured no OK OK I want you to turn around OK there the officer secures the climber into a harness before signaling to the pilot to raise them both to safety all right now just want you kind of sit back we're just gonna take a ride up sit back just relax I will hold you just relax let the hoist do its job while hovering over the mountain the two men are hoisted up to the helicopter and secured inside by another rescuer alright bro we're gonna shoot it or I got you the climber was safely transported back to solid ground with no reported injuries next up we're headed to Yakima County Washington where a Moxie police officer is arriving on the scene of a traffic accident this was captured entirely on the officer's dash camera what no the driver what you see here are the victims letting the officer know the suspect has fled the scene 7:21 apparently the driver took off in another vehicle I'm attempting to catch back up to it the white Pontiac Grand down I'm trying to catch up to it it's not healing yet 7:21 received are you in pursuit uh affirmative lights and Siren activated hundred miles an hour the suspect is reaching speeds over 100 miles per hour very dangerous and wet conditions on these small county roads hundred miles an hour he's reckless I'm gonna back off that's the suspect's vehicle that just flipped over the fence there 7:21 he's crashed red on the first 90 degree corner the officer can see the suspect stumbling around 7:21 he's out of the car on the other side of the fence I can't access him get on the ground 7:21 he's conscious but he's bleeding from the head uh send fire an ambulance the suspect is not obeying commands from the officer 7:21 he's moving around he's got some good injuries he's not complying 7:21 copy at 9:36 I'll play it as been advised Washington state doesn't consider suspects booking photos as a matter of public record and does not release them to the media but the suspect was found guilty of attempted second degree assault and attempting to elude a police officer and was sentenced to eight months in jail now let's head to Bullet County Georgia where a deputy on patrol is responding to a report of an accident on private property this incident was recorded entirely on the deputy's patrol car dash cam when the deputy first arrives nothing appears to be out of the ordinary it's only when the deputy gets out of the car to inspect the scene and talk to the witness that he realizes something is very wrong it turns out a 10 year old boy is trapped underneath the altering vehicle that has fallen onto its side I need help here now 28 I'm coming it's on a very long driveway you don't see me coming the young woman you can see pacing there is the victim's older sister she made the 9 1 1 call the boy's entire body is trapped beneath the ATV only his head is visible to the deputy the boy is conscious through all of this but can't speak because the ATV is resting on his neck slowly choking him officers are trained to wait for backup whenever possible but in a life or death situation like this time is of the essence the deputy has no idea how long it could take for an EMS unit to arrive using a tow rope the deputy rigs the ATV to the front of his cruiser by repositioning his cruiser and putting in reverse he's able to flip the ATV back onto its wheels revealing the young boy pinned underneath with a boy no longer trapped the deputy renders as much aid as he can until EMS arrives and stabilizes him for transport the boy was flown to a nearby hospital for treatment miraculously he was not seriously injured and glad to say he has since made a full recovery the deputy was later awarded a Life Saving Medal from the Bullet County Sheriff's Office for his heroic work
