What time does he get off? 11:30 tonight? All right. Thank you. Works at Walmart, doesn't get off till 11:30. He's the only male that lives here. >> Detectives then tracked Paul down at his workplace to conduct an interview about the matter. >> Thanks, boss. >> You guys all right? All right. Somewhere we can sit? >> Yeah, man. We got these chairs, man. Three of them big ass. >> Perfect. Perfect. Look, man. So, I'm Detective Franklin. >> Yeah. >> Detective Bryant, Massillon. So, coincidentally enough the the person that we were coming to talk to today was you. >> Okay. >> Okay. Um look, I'm going to cut right to it. You don't have to talk to me if you don't want to. But obviously the only reason I'm coming to talk to you now >> Yeah. >> is because I already have enough to talk to you about it. >> Okay. >> You know what I'm saying? So, as much transparency as we can get as we move forward, the better. >> All right. >> It's the only way I can help the situation at all. >> All right. >> I'm not going Whatever is said here today obviously you're you're here now. >> You're at work. >> taking you here from work. Um >> [cough] [clears throat] >> but this is just consider your formal advisement that obviously we have to look into something involving you, okay? >> Okay. >> So, you agree to talk with me? >> Sure. >> Cool. So do you have any idea why I'd be here today? >> No idea. >> No idea at all? >> Not at all. >> No. All right, dude. This is you, correct? >> Yeah, this is a very old photo. >> It is. By the way, you like old cars, don't you? >> Yes. >> All right, we were up at the house I'm assuming mom, correct? Does she you guys live there? >> Uh my girlfriend and her sister, Melissa. >> Okay. All right, so mom get a hold of you? >> Uh she said there was two guys here that weren't dressed like cops. >> Yeah. >> And I said uh >> She couldn't open the door. >> She said yeah, no yeah, she's fragile. Uh she said that that you asked when I was here or how late I'd be there. >> Yeah. >> And I said, "Well, don't say that cuz if it's not cops they know a little old lady who lives there, they'll kick the door in." I said. >> That's true. That's true. Um if she would have been able to see if there was a camera or something, you know, we would have been able to identify it, but So, look man, I'm going to cut right to it. I'm here in reference to Instagram. >> Yeah, my Facebook and everything's been hacked a bunch of times. >> Yeah. >> I had to change a lot of things. >> All right. Well, >> my Snapchat has been hacked a couple times and so has my photos. >> Okay. Your friend seen some things? Like what? >> Uh when they had So when you know when you do two two-way factor authentication. >> Yeah. >> And if someone does hack you, you have your phone still to where you can go change it or delete it, deactivate it. >> Yeah. >> Uh yeah, one morning one of my friends that work here is they were like, "Hey man, you know what's on your Snapchat?" I'm like, "What are you talking about?" You know what I'm saying? So check it out. Yeah. >> What was >> Just pictures that shouldn't have been on there. >> Like what? >> Private parts that shouldn't have been on there. >> Like yourself or other people? >> No, just but I had it on my phone. >> Oh, okay. Okay, so that was found on your Snapchat? >> Yeah, I had to deactivate that quick. >> Man, you ain't kidding. Sorry about that. >> Yeah. >> Cool. Um when was that? >> I don't know. I could have been here for years. See, I've been here for 2 years. I got my buddy in here around Christmas time. Uh a year and a half ago? >> A year and a half ago? I'm just going to write that down. >> Yeah. >> You said it was just your social media. Did they get into like anything >> I don't know. This Credit Karma made me like go through everything. >> Yeah, I've been there, too. >> Yeah, you know what I'm saying? Like they made me go through all my emails, my Gmails, you know, it was just like, "Okay, this is cool." >> Yeah, did you have a >> And huh? >> Did you go ahead? >> Um cuz I play video games a lot and I've had my internet dosed. So I don't know if that had anything to do with it once cuz I know they swatted me as well. >> No, I'm just >> I think it was like after New Year's you guys showed up really deep to my house. >> That's when PD did it? >> And said there was a missing person. I'm like, "No." >> You know New Year's when? >> Not this year, the last >> New Year's going into 2014. >> Yeah. >> Okay. And then did you ever make a police report or anything with >> No, because I just was like >> Even though I had said >> Cuz when I came back out of the house, they were all still standing there like And I said uh what was this about? >> The cops? [snorts] >> Yeah, and they said well it's just a missing person and they wouldn't tell me no more. I'm like well dude, you just you came to my house, pulled up in my yard and everything. I'd like to know like I'm innocent, let me know what's going on here, please. >> Yeah, for sure. All right, dude. [snorts] Um what's your email address? >> Uh well I use my mom's cuz the only ones I don't use are the Gmails cuz it's for accounts. >> Sure. >> But uh I use my mom's. >> Do you not have any other for everything? >> Basically that's ordering stuff online. >> All right. Cuz I have I have three emails I use. >> Yeah, one's from promoting me. Yeah, one was for promotion like coupons and stuff. >> Yeah. Do you know what they are? >> What do you mean? >> The other emails? >> Uh the Gmails are on here. The only other Yahoo one is let's see. >> And now obviously dumb question, it seems seems like you only got one phone. >> This is a work phone. >> What's on this one? >> Uh hate to get into that. Uh yeah. pnew72086 >> pnew72086 at what? >> Yahoo. >> at Yahoo. >> Mhm. >> All right. What about paulnuesum@comcast.net? >> No, I don't have that. >> Yeah, you do. It's fine though. Maybe that's through Yeah, maybe that's through like your phone or TV or internet provider. >> Uh I have instant cable. >> Like when I got an iPhone, right? I had an They give you Apple so like I got iCloud. You know what I mean? It's all good. So what social media platforms do you have? >> Well, since those got hacked I can't really create new ones. >> Okay. >> They won't allow you. >> No, it won't let you allow new ones. >> Yeah, email. They won't let you use that email or anything. >> Oh, yeah. Probably not that email. >> Yeah. >> But >> Okay. >> So, I have >> And which ones were which ones got hacked? >> Uh Snapchat and then everything. >> Snapchat and everything. >> Snapchat was the first one. But my So, years ago my first password I had, so I had to create a new one. >> Okay. >> Then after that doxing and then swatting, it got hacked again. >> Dude, the internet is crazy. >> Yeah, it's terrible, bro. I'm just trying to play video games and phone. >> I know. So, look. Remember what I said about I wouldn't be talking to you if I didn't have a reason to talk to you. >> Yeah, right. >> You got to hear me out, man. >> Go ahead. >> Do I think you're a bad dude? No. Do I think you really intrinsically do know what's going on? Yes. I've been doing this a long time. >> Right. >> Um I'm not here to disrespect you. I'm not here to to talk down to you at all. I'm just here to talk to you to get the facts right cuz ultimately the only way I can help the situation at all is if I know the facts and you're truthful. So, right now you're kind of at a crossroads, right? Oh, [ __ ] Card reader. They're at my work. We've got >> You guys are the good guys. >> We got two routes to go though, right? >> Right. >> We can either go the route of looking apart with somebody that's going to be upfront, they got me, it's a wrap, I better own it, or the other route where you don't. And then I just have to call you on your bluff. >> What am I owning up to? >> Well, I'm going to take you back to December of last year. You know what didn't get hacked, right? >> Huh? >> You know what didn't get hacked, right? Your IP address. >> Okay. Get where I'm going? So, regardless of whether or not your social media accounts got hacked, your IP address didn't get hacked. And the IP address is fundamental and it's locked to a location. >> I don't know. >> That location goes to your house at You're the only male that lives there. You're the only adult other than your mother and your girlfriend that live there. There was a conversation that was had. Look, it's a conversation. >> Yeah. >> Right? You're alleging that you're 17 years old in this conversation. You know what I'm talking about. You don't know what I'm talking about. >> Let me see the sign, please. >> Okay. I'll just read it to you. Dude, what the [ __ ] Question mark, question mark. Want to watch me come. >> What platform is this? >> Instagram. So, I'm 12, you weirdo. What the [ __ ] I'm 17, oh well. Bro, what the [ __ ] I can come quick. No, no. I'm on TikTok stream and they see what you're doing. Image. >> I'm on TikTok stream? >> No. >> They are? >> They are. What the [ __ ] Bro, I'm 12. Image, image, image. >> There's images sent? >> Mhm. >> You have names? >> I do. I don't I don't I don't have them on my report, but Look, dude. That is a And again, we can go down the entirety of the road if we have to. That's going to involve me seizing your phone. It'll involve me seizing your computers, things at your home. I just need to know what happened. It's It's not a matter >> It's just social media. I mean, if I said that, that was behind what should have been said. >> I I would agree. Look, we all get pissed off on the internet. >> no. >> All right, man. This is the conversations that suck to have. But they need to be had. And I'm a firm believer that if I'm being looked at for something, I want somebody to have enough intestinal fortitude to come up and talk to me face-to-face. >> And like piggybacking off what he said, too, we're not saying you're a bad guy. Obviously, there's people that we've dealt with far worse and everything else. Everyone kind of goes through their dark spots and all that [ __ ] It's just on how you move forward. You try to you know, fix what was wrong, right? So. We're not saying you're a bad guy at all. >> Once things hit the internet, they're there. >> Yeah, yeah, and this >> And like you said, the internet is a [ __ ] >> Yeah, like um Yeah. That happened. >> You probably don't want your girl to know all about it. >> What's that? >> You probably don't want your girl that you have now to know all about that. >> I mean, like I said, that's that's as far as it went, though. >> But there was images. >> Yeah, for sure. Images were sent. >> Do you know what they were? If you can remember. >> What the images? >> Yeah. >> Well, I'm sure they're what was said. >> What were they? >> Uh genitals or the private parts. >> Okay. Did you [ __ ] Did you send a video or an image of you [ __ ] >> Uh maybe an old video. >> An old video? And those are of you, though? They're not like >> No, that's not somebody else. >> That's not somebody else in the images that that's >> No, they're all in my images from my phone. her. >> All right. So, look, dude. First off, you you're lying in these messages about how old you are. They're telling you they're 12. You know what I mean? >> Yeah, first it was a game, but I get it. >> That's And this That's why this >> just social media. There's no photos, either. >> What's that? >> Of the person. >> Of the person that you're talking to. >> There is none, of course. >> You know why? >> Cuz they're Are they able to show them? >> No. >> Age? >> No. Anytime you have social media, what's the first question they ask you? When you're setting up the account. >> Name, username, password, age, location. >> Age, right? >> Yeah, but mine wouldn't have been any of that. >> It doesn't have to be. >> No, I get it. >> But it has to be >> Cuz I said >> when you set it up, right? Anybody that's setting up an account for social media access, they have to prove that they're 18. >> Yeah, 100%. >> So, a lot [clears throat] of times people will [ __ ] right? >> Well, I'm honest about it. >> You need anything? >> I don't know. It's in my office. >> No, it's my office, and I'm like, "Hey, >> I was just doing it the way you were doing >> You just take your time and All right. So, how many images did you send? >> I mean, I can't remember that. >> Okay. >> That would just be, you know what I mean? >> I have at least four here. >> Okay. Um Between for me and her, between Tinder and all the other ones. Yeah, there's personal images. >> Okay. Let me Did they end up sending you anything in return? >> I doubt it. >> Okay. >> No one ever does. >> All right. When'd you meet her? >> Who's that? >> Your girl. >> When I started working here. >> Okay. Well, you've been here a minute, though. >> Well, I've been here, too. We probably started talking a year ago. >> So, you were with her? >> With her >> at the time of this? >> Uh that would have been right before. I like I said was her I didn't >> I got you. >> That was but desperation type get on there >> I was about to say I was about to say something. One thing One thing that always interests me too is like >> Yeah I yeah >> I I ask a lot of people like drugs, burglary, whatever else describe cases like this. I just like to ask them just cuz I'm curious, right? And I try to be a down to earth person and and transparent everything like that. Is there a reason like what was the motive for it at the time? Like why did you Was it just kind of strolling too far and you were >> ease It's the ease, but at the time you don't think that is and you just throw something out there. >> Yeah. >> There's no plans on meeting anyone. There's no It's just It's the internet. Let's talk. >> What about when they said they were Were you just like nah [ __ ] >> Well I didn't I didn't really >> I mean I get it. >> I didn't really believe >> People say so also people do that to get you away from them. >> That's right. You didn't believe that. >> You get that on video games like oh dude I'm 12 da da da You know you never know. >> Yeah. >> But with the internet you don't know if it's a fake page. >> Obviously you didn't know. >> liking something you got >> Did you already see like their profile pictures and [ __ ] >> No. >> All right. Um >> Some [ __ ] like [clears throat] the [ __ ] >> Well I get it. >> I get it. >> All right. So what was your username at that time? >> It should be there. P Miller all or Knoll. >> So [snorts] the email address is the pnew7286. Uh the username And again, this has to come from you. >> Right. >> Everything else has been crystal clear. So, does this Yeah, it's kind of a funny name. >> Funny name? >> Yeah. >> And salt. >> So, the one that's here, I'll just tell you, is Amanda look again. Pretty funny. >> You mean that name? Why would you even >> How'd you How'd you come up with that? >> I was going, but then you get to the the dark spots of the web. So, yeah. >> Yeah. >> How'd you come up with that name? >> And they they want a name. >> But that is one of your names? >> Uh if I type it, sure. >> Okay. [clears throat] Amanda look again. So, now is the hard part. All right. You own it. I respect it for it. >> Mhm. >> You know, it's not my place to judge you. >> Mhm. >> Um but obviously, when we talk about stuff like this, these are typically not isolated incidents. >> No. >> These are typically things that they're still going on. >> Right. >> Um and my job is to try to avoid that, right? >> Stop it. >> Correct. Correct. Oh, of course. So, part of that also comes up with stored files. You know, stuff at your house. >> Okay. >> Uh stuff on your phones. >> Mhm. >> Do you have any on your phone right now? >> Mhm. >> At your house right now? >> Mhm. I don't [clears throat] even use my laptops. So, they're stored. Like, the screens are broke. >> It don't matter. Hard drives >> No, I get it, though. >> So, I got people sitting at your house right now. >> Okay. >> I just need to know if I go back right now and get the search warrant. I go in your house. First off, are the dogs going to bite me? >> No. They [clears throat] can get in the cages in the room. >> Okay. And I seize all your devices. There ain't going to be nothing. >> There's no unless someone sent it, but I never saved it. >> Okay. Where would they have sent it to you? Be on what platform? >> I don't see any of those. >> Oh, no. Okay, we're past that. I'm talking about others, right? Your cell phone's right there. Do you have any issues with a consent search of your cell phone sitting right in front of you? >> Yeah. >> You do have an issue? >> I do have that. >> Okay. Well, >> just from text messages. >> All right. I ain't worried about that. Again, I'm I'm more in the business Adults are adults, right? We're talking >> 100% Um No black web play, no Um you know, when you jump on uh the What do I want to say? Like random cam sites where you just jump in. >> Yeah. >> You see it on there, but that doesn't get sent to you. >> For sure. >> Well, it's still it's still tracked via via the guys >> yeah, I'm saying someone puts it up on the screen on the camera. There's nothing >> Right. >> you can do about that. >> All right. Well, that's tough, dude. So, you use Telegram, stuff like that? >> I don't use Telegram. >> You never used Telegram? >> No. >> Okay. >> What's the one you got to use? Oh, Discord for PlayStation. >> Discord? >> Yeah, I'm telling you. >> All right. >> Oh, wait. What is Telegram? >> Telegram It looks like a little tube in an envelope. >> Mhm. I don't see it. Work, social, maybe. >> All right, dude. You're working 11:00 tonight? >> 11:30. >> 11:30? Okay. Hello. How you doing? >> Hey. Hey, Frank. >> What's up? No, we're good. We're good. How are you? >> Good. Doing pretty good. I'm just wondering where you were. >> I'm in here. Yeah, my fault. >> No, you're all right. >> He loves his cars. >> [laughter] >> We're just going to finish it, but Give it 5 minutes, we're cool? Sweet. Thank you. >> Thank you. >> Helped you out there. >> Yeah, I hear you. >> But I am going to seize your phone. >> You don't really need to seize it. >> Yeah, I'm going to seize it and get a search warrant for it. >> That's fine. >> Okay. >> That's fine. >> I just have to do my due diligence. >> I know, I know. Do you want to wipe this site? >> Yeah, wipe this site. Appreciate you. You have a password or anything for it? >> Yeah, I do. And there's a thumb that you can bypass. >> Okay. Are you willing to tell the password for that? I'm not accessing it now. Okay. What is the passcode for it? >> 22 >> [snorts] >> Okay. >> Now, once I search it, when do I get it back? >> Yes. >> Yeah, once it's searched, yeah. All right. Now, once we get a search warrant and go through it. Is there anything that you'd like to get in front of now that we're going to find on it? Anything >> Uh there's definitely pictures of me and my girlfriend. >> Which we don't give a [ __ ] about that, right? >> Yeah, no. >> So, we only care for anything that could be an issue like we talked about, right? Is there anything else that would be on there? >> Uh random random Tinder or maybe even Bumble. >> Damn, I haven't heard Bumble in a minute. >> Yeah, yeah. I was sending photos on there. >> Okay. >> They're not not interested in these other ones. >> [clears throat] >> Okay. Okay. All right. Your girl lets you keep all that? >> Huh? >> Your girl lets you keep all that on her phone? >> Uh we don't check each other's phone. Uh last girl I had I went through her phone and I seen a lot of things I should have never seen. >> I got you. Yeah. I got you. >> Yeah. >> Cuz a lot of problems. >> Yeah, it's just [ __ ] man. >> All right, dude. Look, I'm going to get this quick as I can. >> No, that's fine. >> All right? Do you need off of it right now? >> Uh >> My plan is to go back and try to draft this up now. >> No, that's perfect. >> All right. And then maybe get it back to you. I'm not going to promise it's going to be back today. I have to get a judge to sign off. >> Let me see. I don't really need it. Cuz this work phone counts for everything, clocking in and out. >> Okay. >> Yeah, I don't know what my mom knows I'm doing. >> All right. >> She works here. She knows what I'm doing. >> Your carrier is Verizon? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. All right, man. Well, do you have anything else before we bounce out of here? >> No questions concerning anything. >> No. >> Everything Everything was to the point. Transparency is here. >> That's And that's what we need, right? >> Yeah, yeah, yeah. >> So, >> I'm glad you guys are in common. >> Oh, dude. >> Yeah, it's >> Like I said, >> Like you said, you're a star. >> Yeah, and we deal with when we like I said, everyone has their dark period, right? I have friends that they have been really bad with drugs verbally like all that other [ __ ] >> Yeah, everyone goes through that. >> Huh? [snorts] >> That was good. >> Yeah, everyone goes through their dark spot, right? It's just on how you correct it. That's all. And we're not here to judge. You said this summer >> Oh, 100%. >> So, we we deal with far worse people >> Oh, sure. >> and like that. 100%. >> So, [snorts] you're working with me, I'm going to work with you the best of my ability, all right? Understand that there is consequences for this as we go forward, but pending everything being truthful of what you said, we're not compounding that issue, all right? So, it's a one-time look. This is what happened. This is the This is the story in your words. So, just recapping, what time of year was it last year? >> I mean, I I smoked a lot of weed. >> [laughter] >> But >> The times are going to be very very >> Do you recall having the conversation with the person telling you they were 12? >> I have a lot of conversations. I wouldn't eat one that I remember, but I do remember sending photos to people, so it could have been any of them. >> All right. All right, that's fair. But everything else as far as your name, your address, your usernames, all that stuff, it's all correct? >> Yeah. >> Okay. All right, dude. >> You have my direct text today, you know. >> Okay. Any questions? Last chance. All right, dude. Appreciate your time. >> Oh, yeah, yeah. Thanks, Paul. >> Appreciate you, dude. >> No problem. >> Yeah, fair enough. >> Oh, no problem, man. >> Once investigators gained access to the data on his device, they uncovered more than enough evidence to move forward. On July 8th, 2025, Paul was officially arrested. He was subsequently indicted on felony charges of and disseminating matter harmful to Rather than going to trial, Paul entered a guilty plea on October 30th, 2025, with the disseminating charge being dropped.
