On March 23rd, 2025, officers responded to a residence for a call of an intoxicated woman who had been getting physical with her mother and sister. >> Even the one that called? >> Yeah. >> All right. So, can you tell me what's going on? >> I came home from work and my sister is intoxicated and she started threatening me about my dogs. >> Okay. And I can't take it. And she physically assaulted me and she pushed me and grabbed me. So I told her, >> happened inside or outside? >> Inside. >> Okay. How did she grab you? >> She like grabbed me here >> like by like your shoulders. >> Yeah. Okay. >> And I told her to leave me alone cuz she's been violent before. >> Okay. >> So if she doesn't knock it off, I'm going to call the police. And she would not stop. She would not stop. So I called the police. All right. Well, now I don't know if you want to lock me out. >> Okay. Well, make sure once more people show up, we'll go in and try and talk to her. Dumb question, but I have to ask it. When she grabbed you, did it cause you pain? >> No. >> No. Did she push you into anything? >> No. >> Okay. >> She just pushed me. >> Okay. I guess what do you want to see done tonight with her then? >> I just want her to calm down. Okay. >> I want her to just chill out. >> I didn't want it to escalate even to this point. Like, honestly, it did not. I just wanted her to stop. >> You guys both live here together. >> I live here part time. I don't live here all the time. She does live here all the time. She lives here full time. >> Is it just her inside the house right now? >> It's her. >> Okay. Did anything happen between her and your mom tonight? >> Um she did grab my mom. >> Okay. >> And she like grabbed her and put her out of the way. >> Okay. >> But forcefully. >> Okay. >> So that's really what made me cough. Okay, come on. Let's go inside and have a little chit chat with her. Then she lock. >> Is this the only way in and out of the house? >> There's a pack, but it's locked, too. >> Okay. >> Even wait. >> No. Do not put your hands on me. DO NOT put your hands on me. Um, magic. Get your hands off. >> You do not touch me. >> Oh. Um, you don't touch me. Why are you like >> We're here because of you. >> Melissa, >> why stop? >> Can you please? >> You have to. You're just making it worse. >> I got both hands. >> What? >> Stop. >> Stop. >> What? What did I do? >> Stop and calm down. You're going in handcuffs because you touched me. Understand? >> You just keep rolling in here. No, no, no, no, no. >> You keep resisting. That's going to be another charge. Stop. >> What am I in handcuffs for? >> What am I in handcuffs for? >> Now, do you want to explain to me what happened tonight? >> Um, you want to explain to me why you had me in handcuffs? >> We're here because you pushed your sister and your mother. >> Or did that just magically not happen? Do you want to talk to me or not? >> I'm here because I pushed my mother and my sister. Huh? >> Yes. That's why we're here. >> Because you put your hands on me. >> Can you put my hands in front of me, please? >> Not right now. I couldn't physically obtain any like what your sister told me outside. >> Really? >> Really? >> Oh, >> Melissa, you got shoes. >> Okay. You literally pushed me >> and I push you back. >> All right, we're going to walk outside. >> No. >> Let's go. No, >> I'm not playing this game. >> I'm not playing games with nobody. >> I didn't do any. Are you serious? I didn't even do nothing to nobody. I literally just No. There's no warning out for my arrest. Stop. Stop. >> Put your shoes on. >> No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. >> Put your shoes on. Walking out in the snow. >> Are you going to put your shoes on or not? >> I'm not going to jail. I'M NOT GOING TO JAIL. NO, I'M NOT GOING TO JAIL. I DIDN'T [ __ ] HURT NOBODY. STOP. PLEASE. I didn't HURT NOBODY. I DIDN'T HURT NOBODY. >> Stand up and walk. >> I [ __ ] you. I didn't hurt nobody. Stop. Oh my god. I >> Okay. What did I do? >> Tell me what I did. Please tell me what I did. I'm in literally my feet are freezing. >> We gave you the opportunity to put your shoes on. >> Really? You done? >> Open the car. >> I got you. You're not going to fall out. >> Okay. Well, I have to work tomorrow. Can you please put these cups in front of me, please? >> Right now, because you're resistant, we're going to leave them there. >> I'm not. Are you serious? If I WAS RESISTING, I WOULD NOT BE SITTING IN THIS [ __ ] >> Well, we had to carry you here pretty much all the way. >> Are you serious? >> You're staying in the car. You're not getting out of this car. >> Record this. >> I've been recording since I walked up. >> Hey, I'm not resisting at all. Okay. Please note that I'm not resisting. >> You're pushing against me. >> Oh. Oh my gosh. Are you serious? Just stay in the car. >> Now, do you want to tell me what happened tonight? >> What happened tonight? >> What do you mean? Do I want tell you tonight? Okay. >> Yes. >> I work tonight. >> Okay. >> I worked today. Melinda is my sister. I don't like her boyfriend nor her girlfriend. I start with a couple comments. >> Okay. >> Okay. My one and only sister. >> I don't like neither one of them. >> You don't like >> my sister's boyfriend nor her girlfriend. >> Who are they? >> That doesn't matter. >> Okay. >> She can throw me under the bus all she wants. So, you don't like them? You made some comments and then >> No, it's not that I don't like them. I was hoping to come home to, you know, family love. >> Okay. So, you guys got in an argument about her friends, right? >> Yes. No, it's not her friends. She has a boyfriend and a girlfriend and they're both pilots. >> So, are we talking like like a romantic relationship kind of deal? >> Yeah. with her and Han. >> Okay. >> And she >> What happened once you guys started talking about that? >> She [ __ ] him off. >> Okay. >> And she said she was definitely going to show me where she could get me. Here I am. You don't sit here. Go talk to him. Cups. Sorry about that. Didn't mean to make a scene in the house, but >> it's all right. >> I unfortunately can't just let them touch us like that. So, >> yeah. >> So, clearly she's really drunk. I mean, you can smell it. Um, >> so what time did she get home at? Or what time did you get home at? >> I guess. Was she here when you got home? >> Yes. I got here I can't tell you like around a little before 9. >> Okay. So only like a half hour ago >> at this point. Okay. And what happened when you walked inside? >> She got pissed off cuz my dogs because they people come in. >> Okay. >> And she right when I walked in the door, she came at me. >> Okay. >> Like aggressive. >> So like you came through this door, right? >> And she got in your face. >> Yes. And I told her, "Back the [ __ ] off or leave me alone." Cuz she gets violent. She gets she will physically assault you. >> Well, I know dispatch told us that she's been resistant before. in the past. So that's kind of why I was >> Yeah. >> So I just >> I told her that I threatened it several times and she calmed down for a minute and then >> Okay. >> came in and out again and my mom was standing here and she grabbed her and like was not nice about it and like nearly almost threw her on the >> on the couch. >> Yes. >> Okay. >> So I was like, "No, that's it. She's You shouldn't be doing that. >> M especially right now. >> Yeah, I agree. >> And that's I just don't want her to keep doing it. >> Mhm. >> I I usually I wouldn't call you guys, but she just would not stop. >> Mhm. >> And she was getting violent. >> What was she saying to you during all that? >> What was she saying to me? >> Yeah. or even to like your mom >> basically like don't call them. Why the [ __ ] you gonna do that? I'm not being violent. Blah blah blah. And like just tell me I'm stupid. Okay. >> I want her to stop. I'm going to be that way, but she won't. She don't listen to me if she >> she drink often. >> Yeah. >> Okay. All right. Hi, ma'am. How are you? >> Hi. I'm sorry you had to see that. >> Could you tell me what happened after she got home? >> I was dealing with a child at that moment, putting him in the bed. >> Okay. 5:30 and I I knew they were going to get into it. >> Mhm. >> 5:30. >> So, I went in there and I broke them off. >> Okay. Did she touch you at all? >> She kind of >> like pushed you out of the way more or less. >> Yeah. >> Was that when you were trying to get in between them? >> No, that was in here. >> That was in here. Okay. >> Yeah. >> All right. Like I asked her when I was outside. It's a very dumb question, but I have to ask. When she pushed you, did it hurt at all? >> No. >> Okay. All right. Well, another deputy just showed up. So, I'm going to go talk to her quick and then unfortunately because she lives here and it occurred here, we have in the state of Wisconsin a mandatory arrest law for anything that involves domestic abuse, which would constitute only disorderly conduct. Um, but we have to arrest her. So, >> Okay. So, they'll have some paperwork I got to go over with you guys, too. Okay. >> Okay. So, you've been cooperative with me. I'm going to give you an opportunity to put your shoes on. And I have them right over here cuz we're going to have to switch cars. And then if you're going to be cooperative, keep being cooperative with me. I'll put you in a waist belt so your hands are in front of you. Are you willing to do that? Cuz otherwise I'll leave you as is. >> I don't want to go to jail. I don't want to go to jail. I didn't mean >> You don't have a choice on that. You'll have a choice on if you're going to have shoes on and get cuffed in your front or or stay behind. >> I would like to be cuffed in the front. >> Okay. So, >> and um >> first we'll put some shoes. >> I need some egg holding my box. >> Well, you'll have the opportunity to bond out. I'm just my mom. >> Hm. >> How much is my mom? >> I'll have to look it up. I believe it's going to be over 500. >> Do you have money for that? No. >> Okay. Do you have your phone with you? Is that in your purse? >> Is it inside? >> Can I just get this in front of me, please? >> Is your phone >> What am I getting charged for? What am I going to jail for? >> Disorderly conduct. >> Domestically >> for what? >> And resisting. >> Okay. Disorderly conduct for what? Explain to me. >> For what happened in there? >> Okay. What? You're not even offering me nothing. >> I'm offering you shoes >> now. >> We offered him in the house and you said you weren't going. >> Oh, no you didn't. Good luck with that for one. >> I am not trying to be like that. I'm trying to fight my cause cuz I don't want to [ __ ] you doing this. >> What the hell? I didn't even hurt nobody. Why am I I'm not even a Okay. >> Is it not on? >> No, it's not. Are you serious? >> I told you to put your shoe on. >> Oh. Oh, yeah. With my hands behind my back. Put your shoe on. >> Are you [ __ ] for real right now? I'm not trying to be a [ __ ] but put my shoe on. >> I'm trying. Put your >> We're going to go. >> No, we're not going to go because you don't want the car. She's not been patted down. Hold on. We can do it outside of the puddle at least. >> Got marijuana pipe in here. You got some THC stuff, huh? >> Swarm. I like literally have no shoe on my foot. >> Please. Like >> what's this? >> I don't know. I can't see. Is that hair >> or coke? What is that? >> Are you [ __ ] serious? >> What is it? >> Wait, what? >> That baggie I just pulled out of here? >> Wait, I showed you. >> What's in this bag? >> Are you training? >> No, I'm not training. >> Okay, then you should already know, honey. >> Oh my god, ladies. Come on. Two hands. You should already have this by now. What's your name? I just told you my knees. >> I'm freezing. >> My heat dish. It locked itself. Perfect. >> You get in my car. Okay. Are >> you kidding me? >> No, I'm not kid. >> I'm not kidding. >> Miley, where are you going? >> I'M NOT KIDDING. MOM. MOM. >> My seat BELT JUST >> MOM. >> ALL RIGHT. Not real big on this car. >> Following the incident, the suspect was charged with resisting an officer, disorderly conduct, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She pled no contest to resisting or obstructing an officer, and was sentenced to 12 months of probation. Along with a strict order to stay sober, the judge gave her a 60-day jail sentence, but put it on hold. This means she won't go to jail now, but if she breaks any of her probation rules, her supervisor can send her straight to a cell to serve those 60 days immediately.
