This is first kill number one. First kill was 19 years old. What happens when horror obsession turns deadly? A killer films his own crimes and a woman is forced to live stream her own murder. These aren't movie plots. These are real stories and they're more terrifying than fiction. First kill was nice. Welcome to a dark journey into three shocking true crimes you'll never forget. I'm getting you on cake. Okay. Say hi, please. Hi. Let's start with two 16-year-old high school students who created a chilling documentary about murdering one of their classmates. We're not going not to get caught, Ryan. If we're going for guns, we're just going to end it. We're just going to grab the guns and get out of there, kill everybody, and leave. We're going to make history. We're going to make history. For all you FBI agents watching this, uh, you weren't quick enough. You weren't quick enough and you weren't smart enough. On September 22nd, 2006, Brian Lee Draper and Tory Michael Adams, two friends who bonded over their love for horror films, especially the 1996 movie Scream, decided to recreate the movie in real life. They plan to go on a killing spree with their first target being a fellow student named Daniel Danny Dixon. And we're going over to Dason's house. We're We're going to go snoop around over there and try to see if she's home alone or not. And if she's home alone, splat. She did. People will die. But things didn't go as planned. Danny wasn't home alone that day, so they abandoned the idea and began looking for a new victim. Someone more vulnerable. Someone easier to reach. House. It's clear out there in the pasture. We've already snooped around her house a couple times. uh and she's not at home. So, we're going to go to that church over there and we're going to call a girl and a guy named Cassie and Matt. They're our friends, but we have to make sacrifices. So, um I feel tonight it is the night and I feel really weird, you know, inside our stomach and stuff and I feel like I want to kill somebody. She's our friend. But you know what? We all have to make sacrifices. Our first victim is going to be Cassie's daughter and her friends. Turn your brights off, Ash. Well, we'll find out if she has friends over. She's going to be alone in a big dark house out in the middle of nowhere. How perfect can you get? Like I mean, like, holy [ __ ] dude. I'm horny just thinking about it. Hell yeah. So, we're going to [ __ ] kill her and her friends and we're going to keep moving on. I heard some news about Kirsten. She's going to be home alone from 6:00 to 7:00. So, we might kill her and drive over to Cassy's thing and scare the [ __ ] out of them and kill them one by [ __ ] one. Hell yeah. Why one by one? Why can't it be a two by two and three by They soon set their sights on another classmate and friend, Cassie Joe Stoddard, along with her boyfriend Matt Beckham. That night, the pair hoped to strike, but Cassie wasn't alone at home either. Then they learned something that gave them a new opportunity. Cassie would be housesitting for her aunt and uncle the next day, Friday, and she would be completely alone for the entire weekend. Seeing this as the perfect chance, Brian and Tori picked up the camera again the next morning. They even recorded Cassie at school going about her day, completely unaware it would be her last. Cassie. Hey, look. I don't know. Hello, Cassie. I'm getting you on cake. Okay. Say hi, please. Hi. Okay. See you. Wait, have you seen Tori? He's supposed to be in here at 7:30 and it's 8:19. He's an hour late. You don't even care, dude. See you. Brian and Tori managed to get themselves invited over to the house Cassie was watching under the pretense of just hanging out and watching a movie with her and Matt. The invitation fit perfectly into their twisted plan. Before heading over, the two even went to the school library to write down more detailed notes on how they'd carry out the attack. That evening, they arrived at the house. supposed to happen tonight. So hopefully [Music] I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Cassy's family, but she has to she's hospital. She started listening. So she told me to be quiet and shut up so now she's dead. I've always wanted to make a mark on the world and stuff. And this is a good way to do it. Cassie and Matt welcomed them. And during a quick tour of the home, Brian and Tori secretly unlocked the basement door so they could return later without being noticed. Just before the movie began, the two suddenly claimed they wanted to watch a different film at the theater. They left the house, but they weren't done yet. Later that night, Brian and Tori returned. They parked a block away, put on dark clothing and masks, and quietly slipped through the unlocked basement door. Here in his car, the time is 9:50, September 22nd, 2006. Um, unfortunately, we have the grueling task of killing our two friends, and they are right in a house just down the street. We just talked to them. We were there for an hour. But we checked out the whole house. We know there's lots of doors there. There's lots of places to hide. Um I unlocked the back doors. It's all locked. Now we just got to wait. And um yeah, we're we're really nervous right now, but you know, we're ready. We're listening to the greatest rock band ever. We've been waiting for this for a long time. Pink Floyd before we commit the ultimate crime of murder. We've been at this for a long time. A long time. Stay tuned. They tried to lure Cassie and Matt downstairs by making loud noises. When that failed, they cut the power to the house, hoping fear would drive them down. Still, no one came. So, they turned the power back on and waited. Cassie started to feel scared and begged Matt to stay overnight. But when Matt's mom came around 10:30 p.m. to pick him up, she wouldn't allow it. She even invited Cassie to come home with them, but Cassie chose to stay behind, wanting to keep her promise to care for the house and the pets. Once Matt and his mother left, Brian and Tori moved in. Armed with four hunting knives they had purchased earlier, they crept upstairs and stabbed Cassie more than 30 times. Just killed Cassie. We just left her house. This is not a [ __ ] joke. I stabbed her in the throat and I saw her lifeless body just disappeared. Dude, I just killed Cassie. Oh, [ __ ] That felt like it wasn't real. I mean, it went by so fast. Shut the [ __ ] up. We got to get our act straight. It's okay. Okay, let's buy movie tickets now. Okay. Tragically ending her life. After the murder, they rushed to a nearby movie theater and bought tickets, hoping to create a fake alibi. 2 days later, Cassy's body was discovered by her cousin when her aunt and uncle returned home. A police investigation began immediately. Cassy's boyfriend was cleared quickly. His mother confirmed his alibi. Attention then turned to Brian and Tori, who had also been at the house that night. Police noticed inconsistencies in their stories right away. Eventually, Brian cracked and admitted on video that they had murdered Cassie. Chest was moving. I I thought he was going like this. I thought it was joking, you know, like like yeah joking, you know. He's trying to splash her cake at all. He said we we have to kill her. I can't believe I did this and he said we have to kill her. And so stab I I I heard I heard the chest like pound on the chest. It was supposed to happen. It was supposed to be a joke. suicide. He even claimed he slit her throat. By playing the two friends against each other, detectives were able to get full confessions. They recovered the murder weapons and even restored the damaged footage they had filmed. Brian Draper and Tory Adam Shik were charged with first-degree murder. Both were found guilty and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. A dangerous man forced his ex-girlfriend to go live on Facebook just so she could publicly apologize to his current girlfriend. I ain't have no business going off like that. But see right there, sit right there. Everybody want to be fame. I'm make you famous. Stop. Now game over. Only to murder her during the live stream. On April 12th, 2018, 37-year-old Jonathan Robinson stormed the Shreveport, Louisiana home of his ex-girlfriend, 27-year-old Rianita Williams, a mother of three. Rionita had recently mocked his long-term girlfriend, Sherekica Taylor, online, an attack that reportedly pushed Sherekica into a mental breakdown. Robinson, who had been dating both women at the same time, refused to let go of either one. Armed with a rifle, he took Rionita, her mother, and her brother hostage and demanded that Riionita go live on Facebook to apologize to Sherekica. In the chaos, Rionita's mother managed to escape the house and call police despite Robinson firing shots at her as she fled. With her mother gone, Rianita and her brother remained trapped. Hey y'all, this Noo-Noo, I apologize for J for going live on Ra. I ain't had no business doing all that. My page been blocked. So that's why I'm going live. Yes, I know I was wrong. You telling you I get on these [ __ ] never Robinson forced Riita to continue live streaming, repeating apologies until Sherekica seemed satisfied. But then things escalated. Police arrived responding to the mother's call and the situation took a terrifying turn. No. Go. Stop jumping. Stop jumping. Now game over. As Rianita screamed, Jonathan opened fire, shooting her more than six times, killing her on camera. Her brother managed to escape the gunfire and flee the house. Robinson then engaged in an 80minute standoff with police. But in a shocking twist, it was Sherekica, the very woman he had just killed for, who talked him into surrendering. Bill took the detective offic. [Music] Even more disturbingly, officers allowed Jonathan, the coldblooded killer, to share a final intimate moment with Sherekica at the scene. Michelle's words, right, Jonathan? Right, [ __ ] no more. Okay. Go back to Texas. Okay. Let's go to kill together. I'll be to see you today. Okay. Jonathan was arrested and charged with secondderee murder, illegal firearm possession, and property damage. He eventually took a plea deal, life in prison without parole, to avoid the death penalty. Next, we have a psychopathic serial killer who vlogged his horrifying crimes, abducting and murdering over a dozen women. You sorry about what? Jumping in a car with a mother. You don't know? Mhm. You want to say something to your kids? This is first kill number one. First kill was 19 years old. Between May and October of 2001, more than four women were reported missing in the Ferguson area of St. Louis, Missouri. Their bodies were later found strangled and dumped along various roads. One disturbing detail linked all the victims. They were all sex workers. As the investigation continued, police realized the number of victims could be as high as 12. The case began to draw media attention, prompting a St. Louis news reporter to publish a story featuring one of the victims. Like many serial killers who crave recognition. The killer, 37year-old my Travis, a hotel waiter and convicted felon on probation, decided to reach out. He sent a letter to the reporter claiming responsibility for the murders. Inside the envelope was a map with an X marking the location of another body. Authorities followed the directions and found a body exactly where Travis had said. That's when the manhunt began. Investigators quickly worked to trace the source of the map. They subpoenaed the map service provider and tracked down the IP address, which led directly to Mory Travis's computer. After his arrest, Travis's fingerprints matched several found on the victims. But what truly sealed his fate was what they discovered in his home. Police found video footage, vlogs of Travis torturing and murdering his victims. Say it clear. You are the master that pleases me to serve you. You are the master that pleases me to serve you. You stop for you to please me. You just get your ass down. Like I said, you sorry. Yeah. You sorry about what? I'm sorry. Jumping in a car with a mother. You don't know. Huh? You sorry? Yeah. You want to say something to your kids? Mama raising your kids. Me and my mom and dad. You ain't raising. You on here in your back smoking crack cuz you ain't going home. I'mma keep you about a week. This is first kill number one. First kill was 19 years old. Name first kill was nice. Deep beneath his house, they uncovered a torture basement filled with chilling evidence of what had taken place there. Although he claimed to have murdered more than 17 women, police were only able to confirm 12 victims and just one video of the crime survived. But before Travis could stand trial, he did the unthinkable.
