Rather than wait it out and take a no-show fee, Carroll chose to locate the rider, [music] even as the rider had cursed him over the phone, a decision Carroll would soon regret. >> Yeah, so how do you wait down there next to the freeway, man? >> I saw it. Next up, a female rideshare driver was assaulted by a female passenger who wouldn't take no for an answer. >> I need this lady to get out OF MY VEHICLE. WOAH! >> ON SEPTEMBER 29TH, 2018, Texas rideshare driver Maria Chavez picked up a man and a woman from a bar. Mid-ride, they asked her to turn back to pick up more people. Already uncomfortable because they were eating in her car and had scratched it, Chavez ended the trip and told them to exit. The man stepped out, but the woman stayed back and then decided to attack the innocent driver. >> Look at her phone, look. Well, it's up to me, honestly. And honestly, I think you need to go back and get them. >> I need you exit my vehicle, please, because I'm >> I have nothing to do with them. She'd only been doing her job and didn't deserve such treatment. The suspects fled before officers arrived, and despite Chavez and her husband posting the video online, they had not been caught.
