On June 11th, 2025, deputies responded [music] to a possible burglary in progress on Northwest 27th Avenue in Ocala, Florida. But, what officers found on the property and how the suspect reacted when confronted would quickly turn the situation into a tense and [music] physical arrest. >> He ain't going to that. Oh, you [ __ ] You're kidding me. What should we >> She was then transported to the police station where she continued to resist officers. >> All right, step outside. >> Step outside. >> Hold on. You need to watch that arm. >> Kashara Thomas was arrested [music] and charged with trespassing, resisting arrest, and battery on a law enforcement [music] officer. Authorities stated that Thomas had previously been warned to stay off the property, but returned, leading to the incident. During the investigation, [music] an air unit located her hiding between a trailer and a shipping container where she later refused to comply and attempted to fight deputies. She was ultimately [music] taken into custody and transported to the Marion County Jail. Cutlip sustained minor injuries during the incident and was transported to a nearby hospital before being booked. All evidence, including officer observations and recovered property, was submitted as part of the case, which will proceed through the appropriate legal process.
