Cuz I listen to my [ __ ] probation, bro. Were you guys out chasing each other with knives at some point or What happened at your apartment? Just a little bit messed up. Yeah? Yeah. You broke into my house and damaged my property. What the hell? Let's go. I'm going to go with you. This video documents the escalation of a heated argument and its real-world consequences. Hello. What's going on? You all right? Tired, exhausted, and just fed up with myself. Where do you want me to start? Um do you live in that apartment right there? >> Yes. Did you hear us knocking on it earlier? >> No, I did not. Mhm. Okay. We came out here earlier and we tried to get someone to answer and then no one answered. >> To be honest, and I tell nothing but the truth by God's eyes, to be honest, I was in my white car over there and I seen y'all and that was him. And then I know he'd been to jail and I was like I seen the fear in his eyes about going back, so we left. And then we came back. And then he started on the F stuff again because he took my debit card and got all my money off my card. So yes, I did go down there in his house and I I pulled all the stuff off the refrigerator. Yes, I did. And I took his social security card and he wanted it back. He's not getting it back till I get my debit card back. And then he seen he finally came home and seen how his house was like, so he came up in mine and he punched my back door and came in and had a knife with him. Um and yeah. My car was parked up there, so he didn't know if I was home or not and he called me. And he was standing at my back door and he heard me in there. So that was that. Okay, so start from the beginning. What happened today that made y'all He took my card. Car card? >> Card. Yes, my debit card. Yes. >> Okay, so you got your card without asking. >> Mhm. And you guys were good before that? Mhm. Okay, so what did he do? >> stole my before card, too. Okay, so he got your car and what did he do with it? What did he do with it? >> Yeah. Tried to go drop a check in it. Did that work? Nope. And he said that it bounced back, so that's why he took the money. Okay, so what happened after that? What happened after that? After he said that Um I can't remember. But he didn't tell me that on the phone. He told me that just now. But I kind of figured put two and two together. You wasn't Like why did you take money off my card? Okay, so he got your card, he took money off it. Okay, then what happened? I think this was like in the morning. Okay. >> Like early this morning. So he had to go to work and he blocked me from his phone all day. And I couldn't get to him. Okay. So and nobody could and then he answered the phone for my sister and he didn't say anything. So that's when I went down there and I came back up, woke up from my nap, he started calling me. And then he figured out I was in the house, he punched my window. We got to fighting in the house. And then I'm not sure how it led outside. But um Yes, ma'am. We end up going up there, fighting all through up there. And my car was parked up there. And then when he when he came back down and he slapped me right here, he went into the house and I went to go pack my stuff and I went back up there. And he came around with his car and I felt threatened, so I ran into his car. Cuz you had me trapped in. So um let's go back. So he took your card. He took my card, yes. >> Took money off it. Yes. And then he showed up to your house where you've been at your back door. >> Yes. Then what happened from there? Just say it again. Um he started arguing on why you down there and [ __ ] up my [ __ ] >> say you let him in? Huh? So you let him inside your house? >> I mean, he punched the window through. Okay, so he punched that he let himself in then He let himself in. And then there's only the little string thing that connects the door and the thing and he broke that through like it was nothing. Okay. Um, does he live here? He lives down there. Oh, okay. No one else lives with you? Mhm. Okay, so he gets himself inside then what happens? Um, we start going back arguing and then fighting some and he tried to um, mess up my TV. He went into my room and my TV and I just like was pushing him away or whatever. He ended up choking me or whatever and I thought I was going to die honestly. And then we was both out of breath so we went into the kitchen. He called his family talking about some they finna come down here and beat me up this that and the third. Beat my ass about that. >> you guys were like arguing the whole time. He wanted to mess with your TV and you started pushing him. Mhm. Then he started choking you. Mhm. How was he choking you? Um, well, in the car just now like this. Um, in there. >> about inside? >> Huh? I'm talking about inside. >> Oh. It was like this. So like face-to-face? No, he was behind me. Okay, so then he what? Can you demonstrate it? To yourself. Um, of course I'm not going to touch you. Yeah. Um, like this right here. So then he had like hands like this from behind. And then he had me at one point with this arm like this because I was hitting him like this and this arm of him was trying to block me from hitting him. Okay. Yes. I know you're probably like so over this [ __ ] Okay. Did you feel like your airways were constricted or anything like that? No, sir. No, so you could still breathe? I feel perfectly fine physically. So so you could still breathe when he was choking you? No. No, that's why I was fighting back. Especially when we was on the bed. Hell no, I could not breathe. >> So your airways were constricted? >> Yes. Okay. So after that, >> [clears throat] >> um, did he just like let go or Um, I think like I was like just fighting too much and we had got to the end of the bed and I end up like going like this and falling. And I was like down like this and then he was breathing and I end up going to the kitchen and sitting down and drinking some water. And then he just kept going off. And I'm not sure what led us to outside. So what what happened after that? Um, you got water in the kitchen then what happened? Water. Um, he kept screaming about giving me social security card. And then I feel like I don't know what led us outside. I'm so sorry. I'm really trying to remember. Um, the [ __ ] And did you have a social security card? >> I do have a social security card. I'm not even going to lie to you. Okay. So he was arguing with you about getting that back then what happened after you got water from the kitchen? Um, he was walking around the living room. I'm not sure. I guess like somewhere in the point he just left. I don't know. Somehow before he left we had went up here so the argument transferred outside. Okay. >> And then that's when like we went our separate ways and I went and packed and I went down there and that's when the car crash happened. I can't tell you any more about what happened. I'm sorry. >> So you got out, came outside. Came outside. We went up there. We was arguing right there. Not standing around but like walking. He was like make a lot of noise. I don't care if you call the police. This, that, and the third. Okay. So I was like that's the last thing I wanted to do. So we went up to my car. Well, yeah, we went up to my car. He ended up breaking my Apple Watch. That's how I've been calling the police because I don't know where my phone is. Um, so he broke this. And then we came back down here and that's when he slapped me. He went to this house. I went and got my stuff and went back up to my car. And then he came That's when he came. And came where? Up there. Okay, then what happened? And he tried to block me in. And he got out the car. >> Where exactly is up here? I mean Like in here up here in this parking spot. And I actually hit the other car, too. Now, I'll pay for that car, but I ain't paying for his. Was that yours? Was that yours? No. I just hurt my thumb. Here we go. Oh, yeah. I got to say I think it that's it right there. There you go. Perfect. Don't have my flashlight on there. Okay, and then He came this way. >> So, he got his car and then came to your car? >> Mhm. Okay. >> Okay, so this is mine and I hit like right here. Which I would definitely for sure would pay for it. Oh, Jesus. I'm so sorry. Okay, so your car was uh backed in or I was backed in. Okay, then how does his car pull up like >> His car was like >> head-on or or like that? >> He pulled right in front of me. So, what was directly in front of your car? What do you mean? Was it his passenger side door? >> His passenger side door, back passenger side door? I think it was like both because when I looked at the car in the front >> the middle? Yeah. Okay. A little bit in the middle. And then he pulled up there and I ended up like pulling going out. Uh uh she's I we had contacted her, so she's going to step out >> Mhm. uh to see if that damage has already been on her car. You're okay. So. If it has, that's a blessing. Uh actually might have been it's this right here. Oh. >> So, you pulled out and um you veered left and that this is what all that damage I guess. Oh. 51 Central Point in the rear. Turn to a Fox Sierra 1897 should be a Jeep. Okay. Cool. Um okay. I'm just trying to document the damage and stuff like that. If you want So, I'm going to go meet with the registered owner of that car up there. >> Mhm. And just talk to her. >> down here by myself? No, I'm not. You I was going to say you can come with me if you want or you can run back inside and grab your ID to meet me over there. It's all right. Hey, what's your name? Um All right. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. >> you? I'm good. Good. Madison, I presume? Yes. >> Okay. Yeah, you want to give me your ID. Um there was just an incident. Um her car was parked here. Some guy was trying to block her in with his Charger and she pulled off and hit his Charger and your vehicle was damaged as well in the process, so. Yep. Appreciate it. I'm so very sorry. My insurance will pay for everything. It's just a flying instead of a rock. It is. 51 2718. It's Madison Walker, all right. Did you guys get the Charger? Uh we will. This is the case number right here. If you want a personal copy of the report, you can pick it up at the address here and that's the instructions to pick it up. There's a fee for paper copy, $3.50 or you can go to this website link right here and you can pick up the copy of the report that way. And uh this is the case number that you're going to be reporting to your insurance as well, okay? Um are you going to Are you giving me your insurance information right now? I can give it to you. Okay. Well, other than that, sorry to wake you up in the middle of the night. It's okay. [laughter] I hope it gets better, okay? Okay. I apologize for your It's okay. I know he swept up the glass. Okay. You mind if I set it down? Sure. Okay. You go ahead and let me in. In your house? Huh? So, your house? Good. Okay. Come on, Becky. Has your microwave always been like this? Heck, no. He did all of that. Thank you, Jesus. So, how did the microwave get like this? You know, the fact is I've never seen I didn't see him do anything to it, though. I don't know where I was. You mean that you like were you here when he came inside the house? Yeah. I mean, I was standing right here at the door. And then we were talking or whatever, and he punched it through and it hit my stomach. So, I backed back a little bit, and then we came over here. And then he tried to go to my TV. So, I just let him punch the [ __ ] and then So, he why did he start punching your TV? Yep. He punched that one. Okay. He stabbed this. Mhm. What is that knife? I don't want to say that. Yeah. And he stabbed this one. What did he stab this one with? Uh that knife that's in here. Ooh, hot sauce. Hot sauce. Um That's the knife I used. This is the same knife that he brought from his house. All right, you can just set it here. So, this is the knife that he the only weapon that Uh-huh. That's the only weapon that I know he had. Were you guys like chasing each other with knives at some point or No, but we was right here and I had the knife in my hand and he had his hand. So, he like walked in the house with the knife like in his hand, pocket? Is that what he used to break the window? >> No, he punched it. I felt that punch in my stomach. I was standing right at the door. He punched through the window at you? >> Yeah. Okay. And was the knife like in his pocket or did he >> where that knife come from, if we're being honest. I think for like >> Do you know where it was when he came here? Uh-uh. To be honest, I think that like There's so many times that There's two times that we separated. The one time when I had ran when I went up there I packed my stuff and I ran and had to be a time before when he came to get that knife or he did he have it because I I truly don't remember. I'm sorry. And then was your microwave like this this morning? No, my microwave was perfectly fine. My whole house is perfectly fine. Now, I'm the I'm cleaning this. Yeah. That was there. And he didn't do this to your microwave, so I'm assuming it was him. Right? This is my house. So, I'm assuming I don't know where it is. Yes. Definitely him. Okay. Let's see. Before I forget I'll give you the case number. The very Just give me the case number for the accident report and the incident report. If you want a copy of it, you can get it at this address here. What happened this morning, man? What happened this morning? Between you and that's whatever her name is. There's my my lady. Yeah. Not much. She was calling us about you. Said you did some stuff to What did she say? I don't know. I just I didn't work this morning. It was like anywhere from 3:00 to 5:00 this morning. Did anything happen? Um I just came home and my my house was messed up and I asked her what happened and then that's all I know. Okay, I'm just I'm here to get your side of things. I think her brother called just wanting us to come check on him and I saw you sitting She's fine. She's fine. And I saw you sitting here, so Was that you? Is it you? Oh, you're the one that called this morning. Okay. All right. Or your brother called. When I asked her. Yeah, I left him on the phone. I'll call him back. Okay. All right, since I got you both here. What's what's the deal? I mean, cuz I wasn't here this morning. I don't know. There's really no deal. Everything is handled at this point. >> Got you. Let me call uh I'm going to call the officer that came out here just so he can kind of get me up to speed on things that way I can have a pretty clear understanding before we do anything else. Do anything else like what? Like before y'all leave. Okay. Is anybody going to jail cuz I mean I Dude, I don't I don't know what happened this morning. I'm saying I mean I I can't tell you. I just wanted some clarity. I'm coming in blind over here. I know neither one of you called us. That's the only reason we came out here is cuz our brother called us. Did the officer say that came out here? Did he say what was going to happen? Sorry. Not that I know of. He um we went up there and got the insurance. I gave her my insurance. She gave me mine. He gave us these little cards. That's about it. And he took a look in my house. What happened in your apartment? Just a little bit messed up. Yeah. Yeah. Like how bad? Not bad. Like No. Was there any physical between you and him today? Like not right now. I just mean >> Uh-huh. No. No. Cuz the charges I saw on the report were pretty pretty freaking serious. Yeah. Like I'm talking you know, burglary, false imprisonment, and stuff like that. That's why I was trying to get some clarity. Yeah. >> From you. Yeah. >> Again, cuz I'm kind of blind here. So, just kind of going over that. Yeah. How you feeling right now? You seem pretty Um I hate the fact that it even come to this. Yeah. The the as like like I told the other police officer like I don't I don't want that from you. I don't. Got you. Okay. Does he stay here, too? Where does he stay at? He stays with you? Mhm. No, where does he stay at? >> Down the street. In the same complex, though? Mhm. Oh. Um all right, I'll tell you what I'm going to do. I'm just going to call the officer that came out here. See what he wants, cuz I know he didn't get to talk to him earlier. So, at a minimum, just try to get his side of the story as far as whatever happened, cuz I know report wasn't written. Mhm. So, I'm going to get his side of the story since he wasn't here yet, or since he wasn't here this morning. Who did that? Um what y'all was doing before I rolled up? Like what were y'all doing before I rolled up? Talking. Okay. Were y'all planning on going anywhere? Mhm. Okay. Um Well, for the time being, since he's listed as a suspect, again, that doesn't mean he's going to jail. He's not going to be free to leave until we figure this out, but as far as you can either go back to your apartment >> you I'm okay. Okay. I regret that I even called. >> You don't have to regret that at all. I mean >> the fact that he made me feel like I have to call when it's not even He wasn't trying to make me feel like that, but that's what I felt. And I'm 19, I'm not from here. I'm from an hour away. I have no family out here. So, can you blame me? I don't blame you. I'm not going to blame you at all. I don't want you to fault yourself at all. I Exactly. He said that to her or something. Don't fault me. I didn't Okay. Okay. All right. Let me talk to him real quick. Okay. Hello. Hey, so Birdwell came out to this domestic earlier. Um, like right around shift change is like a little after 5:00, I think. Um and long story short, he has in his report, he has everything filled out except for the narrative. Mhm. Um, the offenses include burglary, criminal damage to property, simple battery, and false imprisonment. Um, pretty serious charges. Um, it's not a family violence thing, which I'm assuming is why he didn't finish it. But, uh, we have the dude here now and we're talking to him. I talked to Birdwell, I was like, "Hey, like were you going to sign warrants on this guy?" And he said, "Yeah." So, I'm just trying to figure out like you know, given the severity of the charges and the time frame is only been 4 hours, can we just do like an ABR kind of arrest or does he need to do like an emergency warrant signing? Yeah, I just wanted to double-check. What's that? All right, sit down. Put your hands on the wall. What happened? I talked to the officer this morning, said we have enough probable cause for your arrest for whatever happened. So, we're going to take you to jail on the charges from this morning. I'll let you know. >> I'll let you know specifically what they are. Bro, But, I wasn't here. Listen, listen, listen, listen. I wasn't here. I didn't work this case. I'm just relaying the message. >> bro, you broke into my house, bro, and damaged my property. What the hell? Let's go. You want to go with me? Yeah. Bro, bro, and I can't even get Hold on. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Hold on. >> Well, I will come I'll come talk to you about it. >> Hold on. Hold on, real quick. Can I Can I ask you something real quick? No. Hey, yo, I need Hold on. I need my I need my numbers. >> We'll get the numbers for >> The numbers are I can not give Bro, Listen, you listen, listen. >> [ __ ] probation, bro. So, all I know is what the officer that came out here told me. >> Bro, I swear to god, bro. Bro, what she just now told What she just now tell you? Yeah, we're going to talk to her again. Bro, I swear to god. I asked him, I said, "Hey, did you have enough to sign the restaurant off?" And he said, "Yes." Bro, how? How? I did not come out here, man. Bro, she broke into my house, bro. Bro, if you walk into my house, I'll read you Listen. Listen. I'll I'll read you your rights. I'll read you your rights. I'll ask you some questions, and then we can go from there. So, what what if she say she don't want to press charges, then I still get locked up? It's not a It's not our call, man. It's the officer It's the officer that took the report, and then the judge will look at your case and go from there. Okay? Bro, so do you think that I have a bail today? I I don't know. >> The sooner we get you in there, the sooner you get all that process. The more The more delay there is, the longer it's going to take in the long run. Bro, oh my god. What's your central 10-95? Bro. Man. Can you at least crack my window? >> Yeah. Yeah, we're going to We're going to get it We're going to crack it for She did say something about She said uh I mean, over exaggerated this morning. I was like, "Well, hold on. I don't know what you said this morning, so let's get you separated, and then we'll talk about whatever you're doing >> Yeah. or claiming there. All right. So, you have the right to remain silent. Um Anything you say or do can be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney before any questioning if you wish. If you can't afford one If you can't afford one, one can be provided for you again before any questioning. Do you understand the rights I explained to you? All right. Understanding your rights, do you wish to talk to me about anything from this morning? >> Yeah. Okay. So, give me your side of things. Tell me what happened and how everything went. Sure, that's fine. This morning, I came home from from um from Atlanta. My cousin dropped me off. I came here. I went into my house. My house got broken into. Okay, which one's your house? >> TV's, that one right there, um 7, 147. If you go in there right now >> That one right there? No, over there. That one right there? >> it's 140 and it's the town house 7. >> okay. 140, number 7. >> Yeah, if you go in there right now, my TV's, everything, the the refrigerator, everything was broken, like everything. She broke into my house. And she How do you know that she's the one that did >> Bro, because she told me. Okay, so what time do you think that happened, like around >> know, you got to ask her. While you were gone in Atlanta? >> Yes, when I was in Atlanta, I came back my stuff was broken. When did you leave for Atlanta? Huh? I left probably around I'd say probably around like 2 3 in the evening. Yesterday? Yeah, yesterday evening. All right, and what time did you come back? I came back at like probably like 1 in the morning, 2 in the morning. Okay, this morning? Correct, cuz I had to work this morning. Okay. Which I have to work tonight and I don't So you came back, your stuff was damaged. So what did you do after that? After that, I came in I came to her house and I was trying to talk to her and she was trying to swing at me and I and I dodged it and um the pole had hit the hit the hit the the window out back and it had shattered. The what hit the window? >> The the pole that she tried to hit me with. Oh, she tried to hit you with a pole? And it shattered the back window. Okay. Anything else happen after that? And then after that, I I said, "Bro, why you break my TV?" And I broke cut you and then I was it. And then that's when I was trying to talk to her before we before we had pulled off and she had crashed into my car. You know that because she had crashed into the car up there, too. I heard something about a car accident. Exactly. Um Okay. Bro, I never put my hands on her All right. or anything like that. That's word to my mama. All right. I I'm I'm really emotional right now, but bro, bro, I have so much going on to where it's dope bro, this would [ __ ] me up. Like So you're on probation? Yes, felony probation. 5 years to back up. All right. I'll go talk to her again. Again, I didn't come out here this morning. Um but I talked to the officer today. I'm out with him right now. But even if even if you talk to her, I'm still going to jail. Yeah, I mean you're going to jail regardless, but it doesn't mean you're convicted of these charges or it doesn't mean that essentially wouldn't mean that screws your probation. Uh Any Any Any contact with the law, you know that. Right. No, I get what you're saying, but there is a big difference between a conviction of these charges and then, you know, unfounded. Yeah, I know that I'm not going to be unfounded because I'm not pressing charges on her and I know that she's not going to press charges on me. Do you want me to go take a look at your apartment and all your stuff? Okay, is it unlocked? Yeah, yeah, can I Can I walk down there with you? Can I Can I take the handcuffs? Okay. >> we'll drive we'll drive down there. I'm going to be able to tell her what's going on cuz, look, I ain't even going to lie to you. I'm going to keep it all the way real with you. I have dogs and everything and my house need to be locked up and she don't have her key with her to get into the house. You have dogs? >> Yeah. So I really need to call her like right now, please. That's all I ask you. That's all I ask you. What's her number? Um it's 702 Can I call her real quick? What's her name? Alyssa. Alyssa? Yeah. All right. I'll call her. All right. Can I talk to her real quick before I We'll see. I don't have anything against you man. I'm just trying to figure this whole thing out. Yeah, I understand. But can I ask you one thing? Yes, sir. Why is she not getting locked up as well? That's what we're talking to her about. I can't like repeat it enough. We're coming in blind, dude. Like I I understand, but it's just like she broke into my house. That's breaking and We're going to We're going to go over there and take a look at it. Yeah. Here Here's the thing I would give you advice for. When stuff like that happens, man, why don't you call us? Like I know if you if you're on felony probation, like you probably haven't had the greatest experience with us. But that doesn't mean that if you're a victim of something that you just don't you know, call us to report it, you know? Cuz then ends up stuff like this happens, you know? And even if whatever happened was a retaliation of what she did, still doesn't constitute what you did. Hey, this is Officer Sartain with the Athens-Clarke County Police Department. How are you this morning? Hey, so I was told to give you a phone call in reference to um I'll just need a second. Jaquan Adams. Um he is currently sitting in the back of my patrol car under arrest for an incident. Uh so the incident occurred earlier this morning. Um I don't know every single detail other than what the officer that took the report told me. Um So I know that the charges are What what So the charges are burglary in the first degree, criminal damage property in the second degree, simple battery, and false imprisonment. Um that's kind of the extent of what I know. Again, I'm just I'm here because the officer that took the report informed me, "Hey, I have enough probable cause to make an arrest." Um so that's why he's sitting in the back of my car, but he was he asked me if I could call you um to see if you could I think he said Yeah, how about you just talk to him? That That'll be Could I sell him? Yeah. He doesn't speak English. What? Mama. Yo. Listen, bro. I know I know that you mad right now, but you feel me? And bro, we going to have to see our way out of this situation, but I'm calling you to tell you, bro, the money is in on the vacuum cleaner. Don't you know how you take the the handle off of the vacuum cleaner? Hello? Yeah. Yeah, don't you know how you detach the handle from the vacuum cleaner? Like there's the vacuum cleaner? No, bro, the vacuum cleaner, bro. The handle to the vacuum cleaner. Listen, don't you know how how it come off? Yeah. You know what I'm talking about? Yeah. Okay, bro. It's It's It's It's like 600 and something in inside of there, bro. It's like probably like 7 800 dollars inside of there, bro. Okay? Okay. Bro, just take the money, bro, and I don't know, bro. I get paid again, bro, but I don't know if I'm to get a bail or not, bro, because it's a it's a it's a felony charge that I got, bro. So, I don't know how this going to go right now. And it's like I'm getting locked up, bro, but being that I'm not doing nothing, sir, I don't know what's going to going to happen. Listen. Huh? I'm going to talk to you. Okay. All right, just call call mom and too because bro, I got the keys up here with me. Do you want me to take them to the jail with me and you and I sign my paper I release my my my stuff to you? And they can be happening in the day, right? Like it can happen right in there. Okay. So, we can do that. Um do you do you think that I'll be able to talk to a judge or something today? Possibly. I'm not going to say yes or no or anything like that. Yeah. Do you think that she's going to get locked up as well? So, that's the thing, man, is is I'm going to go we're going to go here in a second to take a look at the apartment. Uh then I'll just get her statement right now. And then once we get all that stuff, I'll take some pictures if you're cool with it. Listen, I'll take some pictures if you're cool with it. And then I'll send all that to the officer that came out this morning to work the actual case. And then whatever he determines is what he's doing. Um I'm not saying she won't get charged. I'm not saying she is going to get charged. Um you know, if if she lets you tell me the truth and you know, then potentially the stuff could go away. I don't know. Like I'm just trying to think it through myself. >> Uh-huh. But if if she come and sign a affidavit, too, then everything will be everything, too, right? What do you mean? Uh if she sign an affidavit just saying that nothing is happened. Cuz I'm trying to figure out where the burglary come in. Let me ask you a question. I was just the officer who I talked to who told me he was going to do the charges and he was just going to take her to work, take her to jail. That's all right. It's burglary is it first degree? Is that the reason why? Well, the difference between first and second degree is just first degree is like a a living like a living occupancy. So, like apartments, houses. Second degree is just business. Huh? It was still nothing in there. It's the intent. Whatever I don't know what happened behind it. I don't know what you're going in there to get. Oh, so if if the officer tell you everything right now, is is my charges possibly can change if she you got a statement, there, No, your charges are staying the same regardless of what she says. Um I'll do a supplemental report, like an additional report to go on to this, so that way when you have your bond hearing, the judge can look at all of the evidence and determine, you know, what's going to be going on from there. All right. So, but basically, everything, bro, just went downhill, bro, from this little [ __ ] right here, bro. Literally. What's your hair? Yeah, that's what I'm being told. Is this the same apartment that he lives in? Yes. Yeah, we're about to go over there and he's going to show me some of the damage and stuff, but like I was telling him, you know, I didn't come out here this morning for whatever happened. Um that was one of the midnight officers, so I had to call him on the phone um and ask him as far as, you know, what he wanted me to do, and he said he had enough probable cause for an arrest warrant. Um so that's kind of why he's going to jail, but, you know, I'm still going to listen to his side and see who wasn't here this morning to talk to the officer. I'm going to get his statement, take some pictures of the damage and stuff. Um so that way whenever he has his bond hearing, the judge can look at all of that information. Any other questions? Do what? Yeah, hold on. I want to And my mom, is she going to come up to the jail and get my stuff? Huh? But yeah, but I'm I'm saying you can't get into the house, bro, because he already going in the house and then he will going to lock the house down. He He will going in and then he will lock the house down, but he won't walk through the house real quick. So, you're not going to be able to get into the house until you come and get my get my keys unless you just, you feel me, flex the window or something. >> know. Oh, you got you got one of the house keys? Okay. All Yeah, okay. So, he's the primary and he dealt with her. Yeah. How that works out. We didn't get any call about the other one as far as I'm concerned. As far as I'm aware. That's what I told him. I was like, "Dude, if this stuff happens again, I'm calling probation." It's pretty much I'm like, "Dude, if what you're telling is true, you need to freaking call us." Yeah. What else did she say? She She said she cut the TV wire in his house. And then he went and dumped all his of in his refrigerator. She said one, he told me about the keeping on the wrong to let him in. Two, what do you mean locked in the first place? It was stolen. So, I just went out. And then she came back here. And apparently found out about all that. He comes over here at 1:00 a.m. or so. Bust a window somehow. She said my window broke somehow. Uh she lets him inside. But once she lets him inside, she said he had a knife cuz she felt she needed that protection. And so it's like I don't even know how you do this one cuz you get started with her. Yeah, technically. But at this point from our predominant aggressor would be this one. Regardless of a little bit of physical damage he might have caused and then he initiated it. You put hands on someone else. You come over the house and destroy property. You preventing them from leaving when they were trying to leave allegedly because she said when uh he was telling her during the fight or after the fight that he was going to have his cousin come up here and beat the crap out of her or whatever, jump her, that kind of thing. She's like, "I need to get out of here." So, she went to her car. Presumably he had left at that point. He saw her go to her car. She got in the car. He pulls up, blocks her in. That's where she runs into his vehicle. And then he's like, "Oh, shit." He pulls his vehicle and she just keeps between him and the next vehicle. That's where the damage to the next vehicle up there happened. Which she told the other officer and all that's supposed to be documented allegedly. And so then that's where she was like, "Yeah, this is kind of where that I don't know what happened after that." Um but uh I mean I I Is he trying to hear this? What are you doing, man? We're about to go to your place. >> All right, look. Can I um Can I just say this one one thing out real quick? >> No, that's not smart. Well, it's not smart for you to say something to her just like she don't need to be saying anything to you. No, I just wanted to tell her I just wanted to tell her something. That's all. Like it could be through this glass window or whatever. Y'all can stand right here. >> But would it be inflammatory? No, I swear to god. It's not. I just >> Would it be intimidating? No, hell no. We were just >> in a domestic violence situation. >> We were just We were just sitting right there talking peacefully. Like I'm not on that word. She know >> I understand, but from our perspective and where we we've been with this stuff many many times. >> I promise you it's better for you and better for her just to be separated right now. But listen, but listen. Yeah. I need to ask her an important question. What's the important question? >> Like she know what it is like for real. Well, you can tell us what her hold is on you. Right now, there's a possibility that she might be pregnant. I don't want them to know that though. That's why I'm asking you can bring her over here so I can ask her. Yeah, we're not going to do that either because that brings in a whole other thing about intimidation. How how? Oh, because yeah. It's okay. I'm talking to you about it later, man. It's okay. It's a later issue. All right. Let's go to your apartment and take a look at some stuff. Now, is there damage to your car, too? Yeah. Do I need to take pictures of that? Can I Can I walk? Like can you hold my arm and we walk down there, please? We're about to drive over there though. Damn, bro. I don't I'm lazy, bro. Walk, man. Come on, man. Please. >> Nah. I just want some fresh air. I'm not even going to look their way. >> Yeah, fresh air right here. Please, bro. I'm not even going to look their way. I heard a walk. I don't know what I'm going to do with you. I'm a whole convicted felon, bro. Yeah, is your apartment unlocked? >> Yeah, I believe so. All right. Come on. So, most of it is already cleaned up. >> Okay. As you can see. Was there anything down here? Yeah, she had came Well, first of all, she came through the window. She threw all of that stuff on the floor back there and it was a TV stand with a TV on it. She broke that one, but I had already took it out. Yeah. Damn. She came in and broke the TV. Jeez. What did you do to piss her off? She stole my social security card, but I got it back. She gave it back to me when we was in the car. Got you. Got you. Why did she do you know why she did all this? No. I I don't know. Like I said, bro, we be messing around, but I also I have a old lady, too. You know what I'm saying? Mhm. Do you know about her? Uh yeah. Hell no. How old are you? You think that's why she came in here and did all this? I don't I don't know. >> You have kids? Yeah, I have one. Do you think that um that I should take my property with me? Like like what? >> Money or stuff? That's up to you, man. I can't say one thing or the other. Like I can't I can't just bail out. How much money you bring? I'm not sure. Cool. Hey, do you need me to take everything down here? Uh no, just the trash right there. It's okay. There's really nothing. Was there Is there a TV that was damaged? >> Yeah, I got pictures of it. And the other TV I had already took it out. What about inside the refrigerator? Uh no, no damages in there. >> Nothing poured inside of it? She said she poured stuff in it. Yeah, no. She poured stuff on the floor right there. Oh, okay. It's okay. Okay. >> [snorts] >> Is there something we need to lock up for you? Um please. I have the keys. The one that are right here. Um I think it's in there. So even still that she told you that she broke the law first, I'm still the one that you Sure is, man. So we got to determine There's this thing called the predominant aggressor, so I obviously So Yeah. So what she did, right wrong, criminal She could >> Yeah. I'm not saying she's not. There's There's a high probability. Um but your response and how you did That doesn't justify Just because what she did, it doesn't justify what you did. I understand it, but like I'm I'm the only one that's working here. I have kids. I feel like both of us should be working here. That's not how it works with DV stuff. We can't arrest both parties. It's not It's very rare. >> the main aggressor would be her. Like yeah, I reacted, but I never put my hands on her. So How is it How is it domestic violence? There is There is a There is a simple battery charge, so obviously something had to have happened. What is simple battery? What is simple battery? It's where you have hands on someone, but it doesn't >> really make contact with somebody, but it doesn't leave a mark. So, that could That That could be That could be coming up behind him and grabbing him. That could be putting your arm around the neck and not leaving a mark. Any number of things. >> There's also a false imprisonment charge, which tells me you don't know how to lose. What? >> At some point. Bro, I was the one that was trying to leave. I tried to leave out of her car. >> vehicle get damaged, sir? Huh? How'd your vehicle get damaged? Bro, because she crashed into my vehicle. Right. Where was your vehicle that she crashed into? >> took my phone, and I said, "Bro, can I get my phone back?" She crashed into the vehicle, and I let her go. Did you block her in? Uh no, I didn't. My car was halfway in. Halfway in what? >> Like Like halfway toward toward in front of her car. >> if if this is her car, was your car in front of it in any shape or form? I mean, yeah, I guess you could say that. Yeah, I guess you could say that. Yeah. So, that might be where this stems from. Huh? So, that might be where this stems from. >> Yeah, probably, but bro, went to my mama, bro. I was going to let her go. And I don't want nothing I don't want nothing to happen to her. I don't want nothing to >> I'm going to tell you the same thing I told you. Y'all's relationship is not simple. Yeah, I know. I know. But I'm going to be very honest with you, sir. Bro, I love her with everything in me, but I just know that I can't be with her. Like, I got a whole family. But I do love her. Okay. And I And I do want the best for her. Like, I don't want her to get locked up, but it it's [ __ ] up that I'm getting locked up, and I got to go through this process to where it's going. I might be sitting for a couple months, who knows? So, are you Are you trying to justify that what you did is not wrong? No. I'm trying to say what I did was was wrong. My reaction was wrong. I should have called the police. My reaction was wrong, but I'm not programmed to call y'all. Yeah, no, I got I got you, sir. >> not programmed to call y'all. And that's And that's And that's That's That's something that I have That I have to work on. That That's what's hurting you. I most definitely have to work on it. But I'm not programmed to call y'all. You hear me? At this point, can we just go see see my car so we can get this process started? I guess but Uh that door right there says it. The one on that side? No, that's cuz somebody kicked it out of alignment. You can see it. It locks. It's It's just messed up. Where's your car at? Um it's I'm going to I'm going to tell you. I'm going to guide you to it. So Here's the door to that I'm I'm a already a felon. Does that mean that that I can be going to prison? It depends on the outcome of the case. Okay. So it really doesn't depend on based off right now. Yeah, no, no, no. I have to go to court first. >> Correct. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They can't violate me on my other charges and send me to prison? At all I mean look, I don't work for felony probation, but I can tell you you know >> want you to be real with me. Yeah, that's what I'm saying like it's going to be dependent on your court case outcome. >> Okay. Cuz like all the all this Listen, all this could go to court and all of it could get dropped. >> Yeah. Yeah. I'm not even going to lie. It seems like that she don't want me to get in trouble though. I mean it. It is what it is, man. I can't speak on her behalf. Whatever happened, you know, she obviously felt like she needed the police. No, she didn't call the police at first. She called the police when I threw our keys down the sewer. That's when she called the police. Why would you do that? >> Because I threw our keys down the sewer because she broke my phone. Oh yeah, did you did you did you get the pictures on my phone and all that too? She broke my phone. >> Your phone in the bag? Yes. Yeah, I'll take a picture of it. >> All all that [ __ ] man. Like that's why I'm saying, bro. Y'all be more lenient to towards these females Okay. >> The individual was taken into custody and booked on the following charges: false imprisonment, burglary, and simple battery.
