you are. Come here. Hey, turn. Can you help? Get off her now. Help me. Get off her channel. Get off the channel. We're here. We're here. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Cops arrived just seconds before murder. What they walked into will leave you speechless. What is going on? I'm not getting any answer on call. These real life close calls show how one second can save a life or end it. Let's start with a terrifying case involving a father who took his 2-year-old child hostage and opened fire. Hey, drop the gun. He has a kid hostage right now. He has a gun. He has made one gunshot already. On January 9th, 2021, a heated argument between a couple in a parking lot, turned into a nightmare. That's when 37-year-old Paul Balden, armed with a gun, suddenly snatched the baby from his girlfriend's arms and started shooting. The horrified mother quickly called 911. Van Beurren, hurry up. Where is your van? Hurry up. Van Durren says 7th Avenue. My husband just took my baby. He has a gun. He's loaded. He took the baby. He's trying to kill him. He's shooting fire. He's shooting idiot, man. Hurry up. He's trying to shoot. He's going to kill people. He's on 7th Avenue. He's on 7th Avenue. He's shooting us. Within minutes, Phoenix police officers rushed to the scene. But what they found was even worse than they feared. Oh, hey, drop the gun. Drop the gun, dude. 511. He has a kid hostage right now. He has a gun. He has made one gunshot already. We need more units. Block off all traffic. Got a blackmail with a child. Dude, put the kid down, man. Stop. He's got a gun, man. He's got the kid. I got more units coming. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. No. Get the kid. Get the kid. Come here, buddy. [Music] Come on, buddy. Come on. Come on. I got the kid. I got the kid. Hi buddy. Hi buddy. Are you okay? Hi bud. I know. Paul was holding the baby in one arm and pointing the gun with the other. In a moment of life or death urgency, officers acted fast. As soon as Paul raised his weapon, they took the shot, hitting him in the head. He was rushed to the hospital, but later pronounced dead. Miraculously, the baby was unharmed. All thanks to the officer's fast and precise actions. Your opinion means the world to me. Let me know how I can make this content even better. Drop your thoughts in the comments. The next case involves a suspect who launched a brutal attack right in front of the police. What is going on? Sorry, I'm not getting any answer on call. Oh [ __ ] Around 2:00 a.m. on October 28th, 2022. 82-year-old Paul Pelosi made a desperate 911 call. An armed intruder had broken into his San Francisco home and was demanding to know one thing. Where's Nancy? Police officers were quickly dispatched, but nothing could have prepared them for what they were about to see when the door opened. Okay, literally sitting there. Hi guys. How you doing? How are you? What's going on, man? Everything's good. Hi. Drop the hammer. Um, nope. Hey, hey, hey, hey. What is going on? Sorry, I'm not getting any answer on call, bro. Oh [ __ ] [Applause] Give me your [ __ ] hand. Give me your [ __ ] hand. Right in front of them, the intruder suddenly lunged forward and struck Paul Pelosi in the head with a hammer. A shocking moment that forced officers to rush in and stop the suspect before he could hit again. But this wasn't some random break-in. The attacker had carefully planned to kidnap Paul's wife, Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the US House of Representatives. Thankfully, she wasn't home at the time. In her absence, her husband became the target of this terrifying plot. Despite suffering a fractured skull and serious injuries to his arm, Paul Pelosi survived the brutal assault. The attacker, David Depape, a conspiracy theorist driven by political hate, was arrested on the spot. He was later charged with multiple state and federal crimes and sentenced to life in prison without parole. It's chilling to think what could have happened if police hadn't arrived in time. And the same goes for our next case. In our next case, officers were forced to take down a dangerous knife wielding suspect. On February 4th, 2023, police in Chula Vista, California, responded to multiple 911 calls. Residents reported two people fighting violently and causing chaos in an apartment stairwell for hours. Back up, man. Back up. Back the [ __ ] up. Vista police. Back the [ __ ] up, man. Back up. Back up. Back up. Back up. Back up. Don't shoot me, man. Back up. Back the [ __ ] up, man. Come out from behind me. Back up. Come out from behind. Back up. At some point, one of the individuals pulled out a knife and took the other person hostage. When officers arrived, the suspect refused to cooperate. Back up. Don't do it. Don't do it. Don't [ __ ] do it. Back up. Don't [ __ ] do it, man. Back up. Back up. Back up. Drop the knife. Drop the knife. Drop the knife. Now drop the knife. Drop the knife. Drop the knife. Now drop the knife. Drop the knife. Now the situation escalate the situation. Get out of here. Back up. Get the back up. Deescalate. Dude, back up. Drop the knife. Drop the knife. Drop the knife. Back up. You guys drop the knife. Drop the knife. He ignored all commands and kept threatening to kill the hostage. With time running out, officers quickly came up with a strategic plan to end the standoff. Drop the knife. Drop the knife to the police. Back up. Drop the knife. We're right here. He's got a knife in the guy's neck. Drop the knife. We're not going any further. Drop the knife. Drop the knife. We're not going any further. Drop the knife. Yes, he's up to his head. Drop the knife now. Drop the knife now. We're not going any further. Drop the knife. They quietly moved into position near a back door that led directly to the stairwell. Back up now. Back up now. Run up to the left. Let him know. I'm not holding the knife. Back up, [ __ ] Now I'm not holding back over there. Back over there. Standove. As soon as the door opened, one officer took the shot, firing a rifle and hitting the suspect in the head. The hostage was able to escape without any injuries. The 37year-old suspect was rushed to the hospital but died from his injuries 2 days later. Thanks to quick thinking and precision, officers were able to end the standoff and save a life. If this story touched you, please like and subscribe. It keeps their voices alive. In the next case, officers arrived just in time to save a woman, and her reaction was absolutely heartbreaking. Hey, trying to make you get off her now. Come here. But this rescue wasn't just about the officer's timing. It was also thanks to the woman's quick thinking during a terrifying attack. After a meeting with someone she knew took a dark turn, she managed to secretly call 911. But instead of explaining, she pretended to order a pizza. And what is the address of your emergency? Yeah, I would like to order a pizza off here. Okay. Are you aware you're calling 911? Yes, I'm sure I'm calling to that number. Trying to get a pizza. What? What address are we going to? So, you got my location, please. You don't know your lo You don't know your location? No, basically. No, I'm stuck in here. Won't take me back home. At first, it might have sounded like a prank, but the dispatcher quickly sensed something was wrong and stayed on the line, using her cell phone signal to trace her location. Deputies rushed to the source of the call, a Fernary Field in Pearson, Florida. When they arrived, they found the suspect on top of the woman, seconds away from assaulting her. They tackled him just in time, saving her before the attack could happen. Hey, get off her now. Get off her now. Get off the channel. Don't you move. Thank god you don't you move. Don't you move. The attacker, Hernandez Mono, who was in the country illegally, was arrested and charged with attempted sexual battery, battery by strangulation, and false imprisonment. In the next case, an officer had to confront a father just moments away from doing something unthinkable. [Applause] On April 29th, 2018, a terrified woman tried to take back her 2-year-old daughter from the child's father, 37-year-old Theus Coleman. Earlier that day, Coleman had made terrifying threats, saying he would kill her and her family if she dared to take the child. With no other option, she called the police for help. What happened next was like something out of a horror movie. [Applause] [Music] You have to come here. I'm not going to do nothing. [Applause] Hey, [Music] you have to call the police. One officer quickly tackled Coleman, stopping the attack before it got worse. Meanwhile, another officer rushed to the child's side, applying a tourniquet to stop the heavy bleeding from her arm. Her arm put pressure on it. I got it. This is what I'm talking about, y'all. This is what I told her. I'm not coming out here with that [ __ ] crazy. No pressure. Okay. Trying to stab my sister. Coleman was immediately taken into custody and charged with several serious crimes. Firstderee child endangerment, first and seconddegree domestic battery, and first-degree terroristic threatening. In this nightmare of a situation, officers saved an innocent child's life just in time. The next officer witnessed a man being thrown off a bridge right in front of him. He just threw a male over the [ __ ] bridge. He jumped over the bridge. I watched you. I'm right here. I pull up. They're fist fighting. I start to get out. He throws him over the bridge. Officer Christopher Maher of the Daytona Police Department was driving over Florida's Main Street Bridge when he noticed two men in a violent fist fight. Before he could even get out of the car, it ended in a horrifying way. On the ground right now. Get the [ __ ] on the ground. on the [ __ ] ground. He just threw my Xray 67 central dog on the ground. I'm going to sit down. Main Street Bridge has got a male throw another male over the bridge. I got one at gunpoint. He said jumped over the bridge. 21-year-old Derek Gooden suddenly lifted Anthony Mascaro and hurled him head first over the railing 30 ft down into the cold waters of the Halifax River. Officer Maher jumped into action, securing the scene and arresting the suspect. On the ground, get on your belly right now. Get on your belly right now. Get on your belly right now. He swam to a nearby pylon and was rescued by a brave civilian in a small rowboat. Derek Gooden was arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault, battery, and disorderly conduct. He narrowly avoided an attempted murder charge only because Anthony decided not to press charges. The next case takes us back to November 2016. Stay in your room. If you want to catch a bullet, step out. Drop the gun now. Multiple residents living in a college campus apartment complex called 911 in a panic. They reported a student armed with a gun, pointing it at people and shouting disturbing threats. It was a terrifying situation, one that demanded an urgent police response. You come out, you will be shot. Stay in your room. Stay in your room. Stay in your room. Stay in your room. If you want to catch a bullet, step out. Drop the gun now. Drop the Oh, no. Suspect. Ah, sure. Drop the gun. Officers quickly arrived on the scene. As one officer approached the suspect, the student suddenly turned toward him, gun in hand. The officer had only seconds to react and fired two shots to stop the threat. Hello. Did I hit you? Huh? Did I hit you? Yes, sir. Where at? Roll over. Left eye. There's a gun. I got it right here. Okay. Do you have any other weapons on you? No, sir. What are you doing, man? Keep your hands right here behind your back. 28-year-old Karsten Cutter was hit once in the thigh and was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Thankfully, no one else was hurt. Once he was released from the hospital, Karsten was charged with several serious crimes. Aggravated assault on a peace officer with a deadly weapon, unlawful carrying of a firearm, and negligent use of a deadly weapon. This could have ended much worse if police hadn't responded so quickly and taken decisive action. Let's end the video with one of the most shocking and intense incidents where police had to stop a father from turning his rage on his children after shooting his wife. Come here. On July 24th, 2016, a custody related dispute between a separated couple turned violent. Emmanuel Rosado shot his wife in the leg with a rifle. Right in front of their three children, Valuchia County deputies sprinted to the home, knowing they were racing against time to prevent a murder spree. Sheriff's office, come outside. Sheriff's office. They're right here in this room, but I got no cover. Show me your hands now. Open the door. He just barricaded. Come here, ma'am. Come to me. [Applause] Stay down, ma'am. Stay down. Stay down. As the wounded woman jumped out a window to escape, Rosado opened fire again. One officer was pinned behind a tree, but another bravely rushed through the gunfire and dragged the woman to safety. I got you. I got you. I know, baby. I know. Here. Come here. Come here. Come here, sweetheart. Come here, buddy. Come here. Come here. Come here. Come here. With the woman and children secured, officers turned their attention to the gunman. You got a visual on the front window. I'm pinned down behind the tree here. [Applause] I don't know. What do you got? Move. Who's in the house? Which one do you have? Make sure that you have the right one. Who's in the house? Stand up with your hands up. Do it now. Wrong to left. Keep your hands up. Turn around and walk towards our boys. Guys, remember that might not be the shooter, but you stay under cover and confirm it. He's walking towards us. Keep walking. Go down to your knees. Keep your hands where you see. Rosado finally surrendered after realizing he was surrounded by heavily armed deputies. He was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder, attempted seconddegree murder of a law enforcement officer, aggravated assault, and child abuse. He was sentenced to 30 years in prison. The woman, despite being shot in the leg, has since made a full recovery. Thanks for watching. Your support means everything.
