Okay. He just came up himself and then >> you know who you said he's trying to fight. Airport police respond after reports of a man causing a disturbance inside a busy Orlando airport terminal. According to witnesses, the man was confronting travelers, acting aggressively, and attempting to intimidate both members of the public and responding officers. When police arrive, they quickly discover that the situation is continuing to escalate as the man refuses to calm down and allegedly attempts to challenge others to fight inside the crowded terminal. With travelers, families, and airport staff nearby, officers move quickly to prevent the situation from getting out of control. In this body cam footage, officers attempt to deescalate the confrontation and restore order while investigating the disturbance. Watch the full video as the airport encounter unfolds in real time and ultimately results in the man's arrest. This is response unit body cam. Real incidents, real arrests, and real police encounters caught on camera. Let's jump into the video. >> Did he say anything? What we need from you right now is you got to see some form of ticket, some plane ticket, cuz that means that you have business to be here, right? That's all we want to see. If you have a plane ticket and you can be civilized, you're good to go. >> All right, >> sir. I'm over civilized. >> All right. I mean, clearly right now, you're a little bit riled up. But >> why? You're a little bit riled up. >> One white guy. One, two, three, four, five. I got five. Four Puerto Ricans and a black guy. All up on me. >> Listen, bro. Listen. Tell me why. Are you a [ __ ] >> I'm resisting. >> Why you hurting me? >> They drop like that. Yeah, I'm not hurting you. >> Just like that. >> I'm not hurting you. You [ __ ] ass. >> You're a [ __ ] You too. Yeah, Richardson. >> This is where the situation starts becoming unnecessarily complicated. The officers are asking for two very basic things. Identification and a plane ticket. Simple requests. But instead of providing them, the man immediately becomes argumentative, confrontational, and increasingly disrespectful toward the officers. And honestly, airports are probably one of the worst places to turn a routine conversation into a personal battle. Security is tight. Law enforcement presence is everywhere, and officers are trying to quickly determine who's involved and what happened. What makes this especially frustrating is that providing identification and travel information is often one of the fastest ways to clear up confusion during an investigation. Instead, the man chooses to escalate the encounter and turn a simple request into a much larger problem. Meanwhile, the officers are standing there wondering how a conversation that should have taken 30 seconds somehow turned into the main event at gate C. Let's see how things end for this Jersey man. The lawsuit's coming against you know that. Why you tweaking my arm? Cuz I did nothing. I went to get my ID for them and they want to be [ __ ] Yep. A guy with no shoes on. These are your cops. These are your cops. These are your cops. You see that? These are your cops. >> These are your cops. Your cops right here, sir. Those are your cops. No shoes on. They think they're cops. Those are your cops. >> Those are No. What? >> You want to act like what? >> I didn't have shoes on when you attacked me. You mother. >> We had cameras all over the >> I was going to get you my ID. You want to attack me? You >> you I'm on a flight out. I can't wait to sue all you mother. >> Yeah, >> yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. You're You think you're tough, bro. You're a [ __ ] >> Mhm. >> You know what I'm going to say? You really are. I mean, you got beat up every day in high school. You thought you were going to do something citrus county, but you're not. You know what? Cuz when you come from Jersey, like you're aing loser, bro. That's what you are. >> Stephen, do you have your ID with you? >> I don't know, sir. I'ming handcuffed. >> So I don't know >> you're being handcuffed. I'm sitting >> Why am I being handcuffed? Why? Why do you have to disgruntle? >> You just got in this guy's face. >> No, I did not. No. No. You attacked >> after he told you not to reach in your bag. >> You I was going for my ID. >> When I got here, me and you were down here. >> Now you want to take it all. >> I was going for my ID. And now you want escalator. This officer asked you for your ID five times >> and I went for it and then all of a sudden you want to say I'm reaching. Are you joking? Listen to me. Look, bro. This don't work. >> Let me ask Let me ask you this. >> What do you want to do? What do you want to do? >> Let me ask you this. What do you want to do? What do you want to do, bro? >> How How much did you drink today? Really? >> Way too much. >> Way too much. >> Way too much. >> You got an ID for the >> Are you from Wait to see your department. Are you from here or you different state? >> I'm from Jersey. Well, you don't even know who I am. >> I'm being very, very, very nice right now to all of you. I am missing a flight cuz you want to detain me. But you know what? No, no, no, no. Listen, listen. Listen, mother. >> So, listen. Before we take him to a car, let's let's check his pockets. Make sure he's clean. >> I ain't got pockets. You stand up. >> I ain't got pockets. >> I ain't got pockets. >> Look at this white. >> All right, sit back down. >> You want to be that guy? You want to be that guy, bro? I'm the guy that's going to bring your wholeing department down for no reason. For no reason. You're acting like the >> India braango echober name. >> Sit down. >> I'm not. >> Just relax. Why are you up and down, man? >> We're chilling. One one second. We're chilling the next room. >> I'm chill. But this think he's somebody. >> Take him the off. >> Okay. >> I bring the shoe. >> Okay. Let's get your sandals on. >> I got it. >> Uh >> yeah. >> Just info. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> We're going this way. >> Oh, sorry. Yep. >> Go to the right. Dude, Stephen, relax. >> No. This motherucker wants to grab me this way. >> You feel good in your job. You feel good. You feel good. Why are we doing this? >> You feel good. You feel good. You feel good. >> I was ready to let you go on. >> And now you got to get in officer's faces. >> Really? Cuz I'm I'm sitting down >> cuz you know something you like. You sit here in your Florida town thinking that you're somebody. >> What do you want to do? Me? Take me. See you tomorrow. Believe me, I'll make the money. I don't even give a >> I'll make the money tomorrow. Will you >> When did you start drinking? Honestly. >> What time is it? >> It's 1:30. >> About 4. >> 4. >> And you've been this up since? >> Come on, dog. >> Dude, what? What? Yeah. You want to be I'm being serious. >> Yeah. >> So, put me in a car. Put me in a cab. Where are we going? >> We're going in that SUV. >> Why? >> I'm We're going to jail, Stephen. Now, you know I got to sue you, right? You know I have to sue you cuz you have no cause at all. You have no cause at all. And I got to see you now. And it's awesome cuz I got a flight waiting for me. >> It It should be open. >> I can't wait. I can't wait. This is awesome. Oh my god, bro. I I never thought that like a $400,000 penny was coming today. >> Can you take these off? >> No, man. Watch out. Let's get this Let's get the seat belt on you. Here. Sit back. >> We'll take these off. >> Stephen, relax. >> Oh my god. Now I got 600,000. Can't wait. It was going to be a great day. >> What a great day. What a great day. >> Stephen, I need you to sit down. Okay, >> I'm I'm sitting. You're just a idiot officer. That's fine. >> All right, let me turn the car on so you AC. >> Yeah. >> At the end of the day, this entire incident is a reminder of how quickly a situation can spiral when alcohol, poor decisions, and a bad attitude all show up at the same time. What started as a disturbance inside the airport ultimately ended with the man being arrested for disorderly intoxication and making threats toward an officer. And honestly, airports are one of the last places where picking fights and challenging. Authority is going to work out well. There are cameras everywhere. Security is everywhere and officers are trained to deal with disruptive behavior quickly to keep travelers safe. The ironic part is that all of this began with simple requests and opportunities to cooperate. Instead, the situation kept escalating until the trip ended with a ride to jail instead of a flight home.
