When a suspect opens fire on officers, the call can turn deadly very fast. >> Okay, I don't care about that. Where did you get shot? Were you up here? >> 820 shots fired at my vehicle. I think struck my vehicle. I returned fire. >> He shot directly at us. Check yourself. Body check. Body check. >> Oh, as soon as I saw him, he bam. >> And this deputy takes a round meant for his chest and still refuses to quit. >> You got your vehicle in park, sir? >> Can Can I step out and you do it? >> No, sir. Put it IN PARK. >> SHOTS FIRED. SHOTS FIRED. >> OFFICER SCOTT HIT IN THE CHEST. 10-80. 10-80. 10-80. >> But first, Cleveland officers respond to a man shot near a store, and the suspect vehicle is still circling the area. Take a look. >> You okay? Did you see anything? Yeah. Where did >> He was saying this is in front of y'all. >> I just ordered beer and they took off, man. >> Okay, I don't care about that. Where did you get shot? Were you up here? >> We're on the street, man. >> Where did it sound like it came from? Just that direction somewhere? Okay, just one? >> Just stay there. Don't move. >> Right there. You see where that yellow sign is? >> On that corner? >> The other side of that building. >> Okay. You be safe, okay? What's he saying? Possibly on the other side of this building is where he got shot. >> I'm seeing a gun and I'm just starting taking off and >> The [ __ ] bust. I heard the shot and then I felt it. >> Victory 7 radio. This happened at the corner of 53 and Foot 509, sir. >> I have to tell you we were sitting right here and two guys walked across the street. They were standing in front of the auto store. A car pulls around the corner. He's saying something to them and then pulls out a gun. >> We have a guy shot next door. That's why I'm here. Do you know what color that car was? Do you remember? >> Uh a dark dark gray, close to black. >> And the guy that's shot said it came from this general area by this store. Somewhere across the street. >> the street and then fired at him and they hopped out that alley. >> They left out that alley? On foot or on in a car? >> Copy. >> Yeah. Okay. Thanks, sir. You guys be safe. >> Okay, I'm going to stop right there because the video probably doesn't depict the fact that you have to do an initial crime broadcast. It's always good information. You got a witness, you got the car description. You would ask him, "Hey, what were they wearing? What's their clothing, size, ethnicity, all that stuff, race? Give us an idea so we can put out this broadcast. In other words, clear the air, tell the dispatcher clear the air, we're going to do an initial crime broadcast and give out that information as quick as possible while all the help is coming, right? The cavalry is coming to help you out so you can start setting up a perimeter. >> He shot directly at us. >> You all right, sir? >> He shot his own car somewhere. Check yourself. Body check. Body check. >> Oh. >> Dude, they hit our own car, dude. I don't know. I got hit in the elbow or something. Check, hold on. Don't move. [ __ ] >> [snorts] >> I feel like my elbow or something. >> Take your vest off. Take your vest off. >> It went through It went through >> What's this right here? Soon as I saw him, he bam. >> Yeah, definitely put in my partner. I barely missed him. >> Okay, look, you're going to hear me say this over and over again as we build this channel together. I'm going to tell you right now, quote unquote, all bets are off when you shoot at a cop. It's that simple. Attempt murder on a police officer, all bets are off. We got to go find him. >> They're indoors. You guys I've been He stole a vehicle on Broadway to the west. >> Beyond Broadway? >> Yeah, he's on Broadway passing Fan right now. >> I'm going to be away from squad. South 49 from Broadway. 8280 I'm going to try to light him up at Brighton 49 Southbound 49. >> Get ready to say the P word. >> Yeah, I got him. Light him up. Vehicle's fleeing Southbound 49. Eastbound Hamp from 49 speeds 35. Southbound 55 from Dollar speeds 40. Continuing Southbound speeds 75. Passing Mountain. It's going to slow down fast. Still continuing South on 55 speeds 82. No traffic. Slowing for the red light at Fleet. Continuing past Fleet. Still South 55 speeds 50. 8280 still waving me on. He's still Southbound approaching Harvard right now. Might stop. Eastbound Hague. Henry Edward George Edward. Speeds 40. Southbound 58. Approaching Harvard. Eastbound Harvard. Oh, [ __ ] 8280 shots fired at my vehicle. I think struck my vehicle. I returned fire. Still eastbound approaching 71. >> Okay, think about it for a second. You got an active pursuit and an OIS. Okay, you got that already and man, you [clears throat] got to shoot your target. Coming right after officer, again, all bets are off. The thing is is that you got to applaud this officer. The adrenaline is pumping so high and you know your radio etiquette, right? Broadcasting each street, calm, cool, and collective with all his broadcasting, naming off the street. That's super important because what you want to do is you don't want to get it wrong because again, you're going to need assistance, specially when that suspect is so desperate that the minute that they either are going to TC, right, collide, have a traffic collision, or they just decided to bail, foot pursuit, and the chase is on. Definitely. >> Still eastbound approaching 74. I'm backing off a little bit. I don't see anybody else with me. I'm approaching Broadway. Speed's 60. Permission to pit if we can. 80-20, I'm on secondary, you call it out. You think you can do it? Bubba, you okay? You okay? You okay? You okay? Bubba, get in the back. You okay? Are you hurt? Get in the back, Bubba. Get in the back. Vader, I need you in the back, Bubba. Notify Garfield, ask him to assist David Grappler. East bound Chagrin Kirtland. Crash, CRASH, 10-54 CHAGRIN. ALL RIGHT, HERE WE GO. Show me your hands! SHOW ME YOUR HANDS! NO! NO! GET ON THE GROUND! GET ON THE GROUND! >> KILL YOU, [ __ ] >> YOU SHOOTING ME? >> [screaming] >> NO. >> YEAH, DUDE. >> GET HIS ASS. GET HIS REACHING. >> HE'S REACHING. >> HE'S REACHING. >> WHAT? >> You better pray my dog ain't shot. >> I got three. They're going to breathe. I got it. >> Three, two, one, pull him towards me. Try to pull him over. >> I got a firearm. Listen, I got a firearm. I'm not letting >> Try to pull HIM OVER NOW. >> WHILE they're trying to place him in handcuffs, you know what? I noticed something that's super important that hopefully you noticed as well is that when the suspect took off and started running, you can tell the officers from his body worn camera was in front of him, right? All he has as a target is his back. And to be able to maintain that confidence and that composure not to engage in deadly force says a lot about what's his mindset like, meaning he definitely should know policy and he probably knows policy. Uh and again, it's one of the things that sometimes you hesitate, sometimes you do make that decision uh to go ahead and pull the trigger. So, just kind of wanted to point that out. >> Over. >> I got one arm. We're going, TITO. >> NO, HE'S RESISTING. STOP, HE'S RESISTING. >> I'M GOOD. >> WE NEED TO FIND OUT IF HE shot after he's cuffed. I returned fire at him. 15600 Chagrin Boulevard, males in custody. >> Okay, so it's also worth mentioning about the word de-escalation that we use, right? It's um I don't know if it's something that you do or something that you make someone do, right? Something along those lines. But de-escalation is part of the best practices in law enforcement. But as you can see, there are some situations just like this that you don't have time to de-escalate, okay? And we'll cover that later on. I know we've covered de-escalation in other videos, and we're going to continue to cover de-escalation, and I'll get deeper into that when these circumstances presents itself, okay? Now, now, when we wrap this case up, we're going to ask ourselves this question. Why is shooting from moving vehicles generally prohibited, okay? We'll see Brian's charges in just a minute, but first, deputies walk up on an assault call, and the man at the door is about to come back out shooting. Take a look. >> Moving vehicle off of white car, who's that guy? >> You got your vehicle in park, sir? >> Uh no, sir. >> Put it in park. >> Are you sure I can do that? >> Yeah, put it in park. >> I'll put it in park. >> Put it in park. >> All right, I'm not getting out. >> Huh? >> I'm not getting out, and I'm I'm not putting it in park. It's not my That's I had You have pulled me over for no reason. >> Put your car in park, sir. >> You have pulled me over for no reason. >> Put your car in park. >> Okay. >> 517 Sheriff's Office, get that unit code three, please. >> I'll put it in park. >> Let me stop right there, because code three means lights and siren. It's essentially a backup. You know what? I need another unit here, cuz I know, and I felt this in the past, right? 24 years in LAPD, I've been retired for four, and I got to tell you, this brings me memories that when you walk up in a car, and again, the tactics that um I was taught, yeah, if you will, were two-man units, okay? And this These are one-man tactics, so it's a little bit different, but you need that backup. My thinking is he's going to approach, and he feels like something is going to go sideways, right? Doesn't feel right. And as cops, we do get that feeling. >> Put it in park, please. >> Can I Can Can I I'll out, and you do it? >> No, sir. Put it in park. >> All right, I'm putting it in park. I'm putting it in park. >> Okay. >> In park. >> Is there anybody else in the vehicle with you? >> No, no, no, nobody but me. >> Okay. >> And the windows just stopped working. >> Okay. You got your license on you? >> No, sir. But I do have a >> Okay. >> I do I know, sir. No, sir, but I have a license. >> Do me a favor. >> up. My name is Zachary and this is my car. >> Okay, do me a favor. Yes, sir. Step on out of the car and I'll I'll explain to you why I stopped you everything, okay? >> One, you're driving 35 in a 55. Two, you're weaving all over the road. >> minimum speed limit >> Actually, there is. >> I was not weaving. >> Okay. Well, the body camera and the in-car camera show you different. Okay, but I need you to step out of the vehicle, please. Sir, I need you to step out of the vehicle. >> I'll step out of the vehicle. >> Okay, step out of the vehicle. >> All right. Let me Can I Can I Can I do my seat belt? >> Yeah. >> I could do my seat belt. >> Yes. >> My seat belt. >> I'm 10-4. Yes, you can undo your seat belt. Okay, step on out of the vehicle, please. You okay, man? I need to get you an ambulance? >> I'm just No, sir. I'm just really cold. >> You got a jacket? >> No, no, this is all I have. >> Okay. Hey. >> This is my home, sir. >> What is it? >> home. >> Okay. Just step out of the vehicle for me, man. >> Okay. >> This is my home. Okay. This is my home. >> Okay. You okay? >> Yeah. This is my home, sir. >> Okay, just step on out of the vehicle, man. >> This is my home. >> I understand. Step on out of the vehicle, please. >> This is my home. >> I understand that. >> All right. All right. >> What do you got in that What do you got in there? >> nothing in here. >> Okay. >> Nothing. >> I'm just asking, MAN. >> HOME. >> [screaming] >> SHOTS FIRED! SHOTS FIRED! SHOTS FIRED! SHOTS FIRED! SHOTS FIRED! SHERIFF'S OFFICE GOT HIT IN THE CHEST. 10-80 10-80 10-80. DAMN IT! >> [screaming] >> PROBABLY A MESS WITH IT. >> OH, THAT'S HARD to watch, man. Let me kind of take you back a little bit when you walk up to the car back in my days when I worked patrol and I'm taking you back to 1999 and this was like the culture and the practice all through the '90s, '80s in LAPD and I'm sure in a lot of agencies where when you walk up to a car, especially if you know that the car is like it's gang related or you know these guys are like known gangsters or they appear to look like gangsters some of that sort. We used to call it what we call break leather, right? Draw and exhibit. In other words, have your gun, you know, by your side. I know you can't see from the video, but I'm holding it on the side of my hip. I already broke leather. It's out. And so, if you are confronted with a situation that happens in what 0.2 seconds, right? 0.02 tenths of a second, you know, for you to actually come up and engage, think about that, right? That can be anywhere between 0.05 to 0.08 seconds. That can make the difference between you being alive or pretty much dead, right? So, just take that into consideration where, you know, we used to break leather. I'm sure there's a lot of policy. We'll talk about that a little bit later, okay? >> Boy, what's going on over there? >> SHOTS FIRED! SHOTS FIRED! GOT HIT IN THE CHEST. >> HELP ME. >> 512 SHERIFF'S OFFICE GOT HIM STOPPED. 1817 Highway 11. Vehicle stopped. GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE! GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE [screaming] NOW! GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE! GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE. GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE [screaming] NOW. GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE. [screaming] GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE NOW. GOING TOWARD JASPER. GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE. STILL ROLLING SHERIFF'S OFFICE. About 6 miles an hour. Give me some help Sheriff's office. >> 12, what you got going on? Tempo, Sheriff's office get somebody EMS and route. Make sure you pass on everything. That vehicle description all units, surrounding units, all counties. >> Everybody is coming and you know what? I like that broadcast. You know what? I got hit in the chest. I got hit in the chest. And I understand that we say shots fired, shots fired. Officer needs help. Officer needs help. Look, it's the worst radio broadcast for an officer because you're hauling ass to get there to save your partner, man. >> I'll keep coming in case he goes down Juliet. Let me know if he passes Juliet Road. I'll put him down. >> Speed 66. Driver's all over the road. >> Notify Jasper County. >> We're coming back toward Gray. He turned around. >> Don't know what he wants to do with waving, what gesture's that? Telling cops to actually what? To get next to him or to pass him by? No, man. We're on a hunt. He just got done shooting an officer. A temp murder suspect is what you got. While we're waiting for the officer to put down the spike strips, know that there's other resources available too, right? If you can get an airship, great. If you can get other units to start what we used to call code 100, set at a location, you know, cuz as you can see it's just one road. That's great. Notify all units, all different police departments. This is going to turn out to be a multi-functional, multi-jurisdictional operation for this pursuit on this attempt 187 suspect. Don't forget that. >> I'm set up at 1405. 1405 right here at Green Settlement. >> Hey leave this up. >> Tempo, I got you. >> All right, so this officer we're passing. Coming up on Green Settlement right now. All right, so this officer we're passing. Coming up on Green Settlement right now. Running about 40 mph. Running about 40 mph. Did you get him, 13? >> All right, I got him. I got him. I got him. He should be going flat, guys. >> Tempo. Well, he's fighting him at Green Settlement and Highway 11. Running about 20 mph. Advise EMS to stand down. All right, he's got his hand out of the window. All right, subject's all over the road. On the wrong side of the road this time. If I get a clear area up here, I'm going to I'm going to pit him. All right, so this officer we're running about 30 mph. Stand by. Coming up on Animal Control. Stand by. >> Here we go. >> Let's pit him. >> Pull your vehicle over. Pull your vehicle over. >> Just passed Animal Control. >> Here we go. All right, good shooting. Good shooting. Good shooting. >> GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE! GUN! GUN! [screaming] GUN! GUN! GET OUT OF THE [screaming] CAR! SEE YOUR HANDS. >> [screaming] >> WATCH THAT. WATCH THAT. He He had a gun. He lifted it up and pointed. It's wrapped in that green towel. LET ME SEE YOUR HANDS. SHOW ME YOUR HANDS. ALL RIGHT, MAN. HEY, GIVE HIM SOME HELP. WORRY ABOUT KYLE. All right, guys. >> Stand up. Stand up. STAND UP. STAND UP. >> I GOT YOU. I DON'T HAVE NOTHING. I DON'T have nothing. I don't have nothing. I swear to >> Where's the gun at? >> No, it's in It's in my car. It's in my car. It's my home. It's my right. It's my right. It's my right. It's my right. It's my right. >> your right. Shoot a cop. >> It's my right. >> Spot on. And you know what? Emotions are flying high, and I get that. Just know and understand that that's the worst ever, right? It's just shoot out a cop. And here you have apprehending the suspect, effecting arrest. Uh and it's just kind of hard to control your emotions now. Now, as far as the tactical approach, yes, look, there's been other videos where they have the shield, right? And maybe perhaps these agencies didn't have the shield or, you know, time is of the essence. You want to be able to approach swift, rapid, and as safely as possible to go ahead and cuff them up, cold for the custody. >> Shut up. Shut up. >> This is my home. This is my home. >> What you got? >> This is my home. >> Ain't got no mag in. I'm just >> This is my home. >> You might have thrown it out. >> This is my home. >> Did you throw something out of this car? >> No, sir. I did not throw nothing out the car, no, sir. This is my home. >> You all right, bro? >> This is my home. This is my home. I promise. This is my home. This is my home. I swear to god. I'm not welcome at home. I'm not welcome at home. I swear to god. >> They're shining their angles there and there and there. >> I'm not welcome at Take the lights and play. I have I have a car IN THE CAR. >> HUSH. HUSH. >> I HAVE a car in the >> Shut up. >> He need mental health, man. Shut up, bro. >> I need help. >> Shut up. That's the >> Yeah, that's about the only criticism that I have. You know what? Just let them talk. Let them vent. You can tell he's having a mental episode. He's got mental health issues. We got to get to know the suspect. And I get it. Look, there's no no scrutiny on my part. It's just maybe the more you let them talk and if you build that rapport, maybe he can tell you more about, you know, how desperate of a situation he's really in, right? >> It's the best thing to do right now. You understand me? >> I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, okay? I can't help sorry. It won't happen again. It won't happen again. It won't happen again. I didn't know. I didn't know. >> [clears throat] >> Come. Get this one. This your car? All right, come on. Hey, walk. Bro, do you understand English? I'm about to >> arrested. I'm not being arrested. >> You're in handcuffs, right? You are in [clears throat] handcuffs, right? So, you could you are being arrested. >> I'm being arrested. >> Yes, sir. >> I'm not being arrested. Yes, sir. >> You are being arrested. >> arrested. >> Just have a seat. You all right? >> Have a seat. Have a seat, please. >> 12's in here. He's got a it it it hit hit his vest right here. He He's got He's bleeding on his stomach. >> Yeah. >> And it's going to be a bad bruise, for sure. I mean, it's it's but it's a wound. It's it's a And they got him bandaged up. >> So lucky. So lucky he got hit. >> Yes. Yes, I have a doubt. I have a doubt. >> Please help me. Please help me, mate. Please help me. >> We're going to get you some help, mate. >> Please. Please. Please help me. Please help me. PLEASE HELP ME. PLEASE HELP ME. >> OH, THERE'S A DEPUTY RIGHT THERE IN THE BEDROOM. HEY, MATE. RELAX. >> [clears throat and snorts] >> IT'S GOING TO BE ALL RIGHT. RELAX. >> [clears throat] >> OKAY, WE'RE GOING TO GET YOU SOME HELP. >> [clears throat] >> GOD, IT'S SO HEARTBREAKING TO WATCH THIS. YOU KNOW, it's it it's more than just the OIS. With the grace of God, the cop, you know, didn't take a round where it was lethal. But more than anything is is is, you know, how do we help this kid? That that's that's like the bigger picture, right? I mean, he's The outcry is it's deep, man. It's it Look, I'm going to admit that sometimes it's just it's it's difficult to watch, but we got to get through it because there's a lot of lessons learned and a lot that we can take away from these type OF INCIDENTS. SO. >> I'M DYING. I'M DYING. I'M DYING. I'M FREAKING OUT. I'm freaking out right now, okay? I'm freaking out. I DON'T WANT TO DIE. BE CAREFUL, OKAY? I JUST JUST need help. I need his location. I don't know. I need something, okay? I'm going to die. >> [laughter] >> I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'll go to sleep. I'll go to sleep. Go to sleep right now. Not like that. I don't want to I don't want to Please. Please like actually actually sleep. Like just sleep like like bedtime, okay? >> Johnson County, an inmate who was serving 20 years for shooting a Johnson County deputy was found dead today in his jail cell. According to the Georgia Department of Corrections, Zachary was found dead at Johnson State Prison early this morning. The Department of Corrections says the cause of death is undetermined at this time. However, there are no reports of an altercation and no signs of foul play. His body will be taken to the GBI crime lab to determine the official cause of death. >> Though the cause of Zachary's death was never officially confirmed, his family later went public saying it stemmed from a long history of untreated mental health issues that allegedly worsened during his time in prison. >> Zachary's family moved to Georgia from Miami when he was a toddler. After graduating from high school in 2015, Zachary got his associate's and finished his bachelor's degree in exercise science. >> Alrighty, we are live. My name is Zach. I'll be your host for today. We will be talking about consistency in fitness. But before we get to our topic, I'd like to talk about a little bit about myself. I am an exercise science student at Georgia State University expecting to graduate next semester. And movement and exercise has always been fun to me. I've played sports since I was three, from baseball, basketball, to football. And I've always loved how movement has taken me away from >> [music] >> what life gives you and it's taken me to a different place. >> He had just finished his first grad course getting to chiropractor school when the incident happened. >> Before the 2021 encounter, Zachary's parents say their son had episodes in 2019 and 2020. Doctors diagnosed him with a bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, and they called 911 for help on multiple occasions. >> We were begging them, "Please, please 10-13 and put him in some place safe." >> A 10-13 in Georgia initiates an involuntary mental health evaluation of a mentally ill person who presents a risk of harming themselves or people around them. >> The police show up and they don't want to take >> They told me they would not take him unless I filed criminal charges. And my son is not a criminal, my son needs to be taken to the hospital. He's ill and he doesn't see that he's ill. They said no. They told Zach he had to leave the house and they left. >> His mom, Regina, says he'd usually do that during his mental health episodes. And on the night he shot Deputy Kyle, Aunt Patricia says he was on his way to see her for help in Eatonton. >> But I told him, I said, "Zachary, I had just landed. I was at the at the Denver Airport. And I was like, I am not home. I'm so sorry." >> His family believes he got lost in Central Georgia on his way down to see another relative in Florida when the shooting [music] happened. Zachary drove off from Kyle, but with the help of other deputies, spikes in the road stopped him and he was arrested. >> 99 times out of 100, they would have put 50 bullet holes in him. They did not. They did not. >> In 2022, a judge sentenced her to 20 years in prison for aggravated assault on a peace officer. In jail with mental health issues, his family believes he started self-medicating. And the deputy coroner told us he was found dead on a cell floor [music] of the Johnson State Prison on July 16th. He was 27. His cellmate admitted that they were smoking strips to get high. >> Just rolled up paper with roach spray. >> He can't hit He won't make it [music] through 20 years of this. I must stand in my faith and believe that he is with God and he is at peace and he's no longer suffering. >> If we can do what we can to try to change this prison system so that somehow, some way the drugs are removed, the animosity between between jailer and jail me is improved. If we could do something to treat people humanely on both sides, you know, it would it would improve the situation. >> I I'm going to stop right there cuz I have some thoughts of my own regarding the uh uh the prison system and uh I'll I'll try to say it in summary that look uh to the parents of Zach, if if we failed you, if the system failed you, uh then you know what? We can do much better. We can. Uh yes, perhaps we could have placed you on an involuntary mental health hold and got you the necessary treatment that you needed. And in regards to the prison system, yes, there's got to be some reformation. And And again, I know I'm going off topic a little bit, but I think it's very important to know that, you know, the loss of life, any life, is a tragedy in it itself because think about the parents that have to suffer, the community suffers, we all suffer, right? And if there was uh other avenues uh where we could have had a better remedy for Zach uh to get better, right? Especially inside the prison system where there's just a whole bunch of challenges and obstacles that they have to overcome. And we can talk about that for days, but just know that somehow, someway, we have to do better. >> I want to thank everyone who's tuned in and and listening to me. Uh thank you and remind everyone that a healthier life is a better life. And being consistent is the key to make change. And I just want everyone to realize that they can change if they want to change. And that's just what they need to do, want. Thank you for listening, guys. You guys have a wonderful night, wonderful day. Zach is out. >> Okay, so let's go ahead and wrap up this case. Some final thoughts. Uh but before we do that, uh one of the questions that I had is can you violate drawing and exhibiting department policy, right? So if we go back to the beginning of the incident where Deputy Cobb was approaching. Um by the way, big shout-outs to uh Jones I'm sorry, Jones County Sheriff's Office. Uh again, heroic. The fact that you continued to fight after you got shot and all that. Uh what I will say is yeah, maybe you should and I'm not saying that you should always violate policy, but sometimes there are circumstances where, you know what, you got to break leather. If it's going to be those half milliseconds that might save your life, then go for it. All you got to do is just make sure you articulate why you deviated from department policy, okay? Um and one more thing about this case, if your heart is not broken, if your emotions are not being challenged and they're up and down everywhere, what happened to a Deputy Cowan, what happened to Zach, you know what, my heart goes out to this entire incident. We're here to learn, so all right? Now, let's go back to case one where we asked a question, look, why is shooting from moving vehicles generally prohibited? Uh I can speak for my beloved LAPD policy, it's generally prohibited to shoot from moving vehicles and at moving vehicles, and there's probably policy uh for the majority of uh law enforcement agencies across the nation, such that you don't do that. Why? Because think about it, when you're in the car, like you also was shooting, you know, one of the um firearm safety rules is be sure your target, right? And you can cause a lot more damage and consequences, right? Depending on where you're shooting at. Uh and when you are shooting at a moving vehicle, yeah, you you definitely want to stop the threat. When you stop that threat, is that the the driver? Maybe the driver, there's a lot of passengers, we don't know if those passengers are bystanders, hostages, victims, who knows? Or do you go for, you know, like the tire or the engine block? Just a whole bunch of issues that just doesn't need to be uh present when you decide to shoot at a moving vehicle, which is generally prohibited, okay? Hey, hope you all learned something. Please be safe out there. Okay, so Brian was indicted on 21 charges, including six counts of attempted murder and seven counts of felonious assault after five Cleveland officers were injured in the shooting and chase. Now, he pleaded not guilty and his bond was raised to $1 million. Okay, so let's go ahead and click that like button and that notification bell. Don't forget to subscribe.
