On November 13th, 2023, officers from the Steel Creek Division of the Charlotte Meckllinburgg Police Department selfinitiated a suspicious person call for service after observing a male and female subject smoking suspected marijuana at a city-owned bus stop on the 7,700 block of South Triion Street. The officers stopped, engaged the two individuals, and attempted to detain them. Both suspects resisted the officers, and a struggle ensued. The female subject, identified as 24-year-old Christina Pierre, struck an officer several times before finally being subdued by several officers and was struck in the face and legs in order to gain her compliance. The male suspect, 37year-old Anthony Lee, was also taken into custody after a struggle with several officers, and a 9mm handgun was found concealed in his bag. What's up, guys? I was hanging out.
