Oh god, no. Jesus, no. Why Lord? Why Lord? Why? Why? Bank robbery. Bank robbery. BANK ROBBERY. Bank robbery. Me. Oh god. Oh god. Oh god. On May 3rd, 2025, Okala, Florida police were alerted that a TD Bank branch had been robbed after a suspect handed a bank teller a note claiming she had a gun and demanding cash. While placing $5,75 in the robbers's purse, the teller also slipped in a tracking device without the suspect noticing. Minutes later, police pulled over 40-year-old Christina Gates Thagard, using the tracking device to find her location. Thard, who was a former Marian County Sheriff's deputy, exited her vehicle and peacefully surrendered to police, who quickly arrested her after being transported to the police station. Thard claimed she had no knowledge of the incident and repeatedly asked if she could be released to attend a funeral later that day. She was booked into the Okala Central Jail and charged with felony robbery with a firearm. >> And you listen to me when we get out. Okay. Alison tango black female dress driving. >> Light it up. But can I please talk to you? >> I'm going to come talk to you. >> I have a funeral to go to and I'm going to tell you everything that I know. >> Okay. So, my name is Detective Viper. You can call me Mark. Okay. Um, obviously you know why we're here. >> I mean, not really, but I get I sort of got an idea. >> So, there was a bank robbery and everything from the bank robbery was in your car. So, that's why we're here. So, uh, I'm going to read you your rights. Okay. >> You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law. >> You have the right to talk to a lawyer and have him present with you while you're being questioned. >> If you cannot afford to hire a lawyer, one will be appointed to represent you before any questioning if you wish. >> You can decide at any time to execute these rights and not answer any questions or make any statements. >> Yes, sir. >> Do you understand these rights I explained to you? >> I do. Okay. I overheard you say you were in law enforcement, so I'm sure you probably read that once or twice. years and this is embarrassing. >> I got you. >> So, I'll tell you exactly how my day went. >> I came because I had to get some more stuff to go with my outfit first or whatever. This guy, Ryan Herren, I've been knowing him since high school. Uh he used to like me back in the day, but he sort of went down the wrong path. It's a white boy. >> So, he asked me to come by his house, uh his dad's house. It's a brown house right there on 17th Street. And I stopped by there and I'll be honest with you, they wanted to go get They do drugs. They wanted to go get something. I don't do drugs. So I'm like, "Don't tell me. Y'all go do whatever y'all want to do." So they come back and they acting all crazy and I'm like, "I got to go. I got to go to the funeral." And when I got in the car, I saw all of this stuff, but my my car is always a mess. But the only thing I did because I had on this dress, which is pretty short, and I know I was going to go to the store. So these pants, I don't know if these are pants that was in my car or pants from them. So I slipped on the pants, so my butt won't be showing in the store. And I didn't even look to see what was in that stuff they had. I got one purse. >> Okay. And what kind of purse is that? It's a pink guest purse. >> Okay. Okay. So, Ryan, R Y an >> And how do I spell his last name? >> H A R E N. >> H A R E N. Can I talk to you real quick? >> Sorry. You sure you don't want a bottle of water? >> I'm too ner I mean, got no appetite for nothing. >> I got you. >> Sorry. The reason he pulled me out is cuz I guess >> prior to you getting here >> Mhm. >> you told them out on the roadside that you didn't want to talk without a lawyer present. >> No, no, no. The reason now that I know that I want to make >> No, I do want to talk. >> Okay. >> Um, the reason I said that is because I knew they didn't have any PC on me. >> I got you. >> And I wanted to just go ahead and go so I can make the funeral. >> Okay. >> But since I'm here anyways, I need to talk. >> Okay. So, just just so we're clear, you want to talk to me. >> You're not >> I I need to talk. Yeah. >> Okay. So, Ryan Haron, do you know his middle initial by chance? >> No, I don't. He's a white male. >> Okay. You know, his birthday. I think he might be a couple of years older than me. I can't. >> Okay. Um phone number for him >> in my phone. >> Okay. Where's your phone at? They got it? >> Uh I would imagine. >> Okay. Um, so tell me how did how did you end up at his house today? >> Because he's my friend. I always go see him or whatever. Okay. >> And I said I was going to swing by there and see him. >> So does he does he text you, call you, anything like that? >> Yeah. Like um Well, we've been doing eye Messenger. >> Okay. >> Um Yeah. >> So, how did how did you go meet him today? Did he text you this morning? When were these plans made for you to go? >> Well, I told him I was coming into town. He was like, "Oh, swing by cuz you know we haven't seen each other in a while." I was like, "All right, I'll stop by there and see you." >> Was it a phone call, text? What was it? >> It was like a I message like >> Yeah. >> And that was this morning. >> Um, you said he lives on a in a brown house. >> Yeah. On 17th Street, like right across from that ballpark. >> Okay. >> Right. Right beside the road. >> Okay. The one like by the dentist office and the duck pond, >> the apartments and all that. Okay. >> So, he lives in a brown house there. Do you know the address by chance? >> It's a three-digit address. I mean, it it's not hard to uh miss because if you look across from the duck park, it's only like the only brown house there like a >> So, if you saw a picture of it, you know it's okay. And who who else was with him? >> The girl I don't know cuz he he has drug issues and that's my friend. that I've been trying to help him out. And he when he wanted to go get something, I kind of I didn't know it was drugs, but I kind of figured it was drugs, so I didn't want no part of it. I got >> I let him go. >> Was it the the female he was with? White female, black female? >> Black female. >> Black female. >> Mhm. >> But how old was she? >> I'm going to say I somewhere between 30 and 40. >> Okay. Um, so tell me about when you got to his house today. What happened? >> I just went there to, you know, shoot the breeze with him for a little bit cuz I couldn't stay for long and it was like, "Hey, you mind taking us somewhere?" I'm like, "Look, I'm not going to get caught up with y'all." So, I let him take the car >> and he came back and, you know, they were acting all weird or whatever and I'm like, "I got to go. I got a funeral to go to." And I saw all the crap in the car, but like I said, my kids have a lot of crap in the car. I understand that. >> And you know, that's where I found my pants so I can go in the store and not be bending over to show my butt. >> Okay. Um, so you let them take your Camaro and leave. How long were they gone? >> Not long at all. >> Okay. When they came back, did they come in the house with anything? Where were you at when they >> It was just outside because that's his dad. His dad knows that he lives a a rough lifestyle and his dad is trying to keep him on the straight and narrow. >> Okay. >> And if he was bringing people to the house, you know, his dad would frown on that. >> I got you. Okay. So, um, when they took your car and they went and did whatever it is they needed to do. Where were you? >> I was just standing there chilling in the yard. >> Hanging out at the house. Okay. >> Um, >> and when they got back, they didn't bring anything out of your car. What What happened when they got back? >> It was just acting weird. like how >> I mean just like not really saying anything but just like temperament weird but not super weird. >> I was just like I got to go. >> Okay, >> I got to go cuz you know I got a funeral to go see my classmate. I'll catch up with y'all later. >> So when they got back and they came out of the car and you were waiting in the yard um how long did y'all talk in the yard? Not long because when they were acting like how they were acting wasn't really no good conversation. I got >> I didn't have long to talk anyways. The funeral starts at five. >> Okay. Was it 5 minutes 10 minutes? >> Maybe 2 3 minutes if that. >> Okay. So for about 2 to 3 minutes when they got back from whatever they were doing >> you guys were talking at his house in the front yard. >> And then what'd you do? I'm just like, I gotta go because I had to go get my shoes and get ready for the funeral. Okay. And I said, I'll catch up with y'all later. >> Okay. And where were you headed after that? >> Well, I was going to go to that rainbow store over there in the uh >> Yeah. >> Yeah. to get some shoes to wear with my dress. >> Gotcha. >> And then I decided not to go there. And I saw the cop behind me like I heard him say that I was trying to evade him. I wasn't trying to evade him. I turned in there because I was going to go there to get shoes and then I was like, "No, maybe I'll go check DW or something like that." >> Oh, is that where they stopped yet? Was over by Rainbow or somewhere right there. >> Uh, well, he got behind me when I was pulling out of that plaza, the Ross Plaza. >> Okay. >> Mhm. >> Okay. Um, now before I go further that you were saying that you're wearing a short dress and the pants you were What the story with these pants? Well, these pants, you see, I have a lot of junk in my car. >> Yeah. >> I don't like to go in the store and be bending over in this dress and having my butt out. So, you know, I just slipped the pants on. So, I can >> When did you do that? >> Like while I was driving. >> Okay. >> I mean, I It wasn't right, but you know, I know I'm I was a cop. I drove for a long time. >> I hear you. You didn't get So, you're saying you were putting the pants on while driving? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Um, but you were dressed just like without the pants at This is a dress. This is all I had on was this dress. I mean, I wish I could pull it down for you so you can see. >> Yeah, go ahead. You're good. >> I can't get the back. >> I got you. >> You want to pull the back down? >> No, no, no, no. >> It it covers, but you know, you just Yeah. Yeah, I get that. Okay. So, um, whenever the officer was behind you and you left the plaza, what happened after that? >> Well, I saw him acting all aggressive and because I I know law I'm law enforcement. I'm like, "What's going on with him?" And I'm just driving. I'm just waiting to see what he's going to do. >> I got you. >> And then I see everybody coming from every direction and I'm like, "What the heck?" >> Gotcha. Okay. Um, in your car, whenever you got back in your car and you noticed all that stuff in your car, what did you notice and where was it? >> I did not spot anything. Nothing stood out particularly because my I have kids, my daughter drives my car, my son. >> It's always stuff in there. So, Nothing really stood out in particular. >> Well, I just Only reason I asked is because you said that when you got in the car, you saw all that stuff. >> Yeah, I just saw a bunch of stuff. Something was different. >> Yeah, I saw a bunch of stuff. >> Not to say that I noticed something was different, but it was stuff in there. >> Okay. >> And then when y'all unfolded that shirt, I recognized that or that sweater. That's what she was wearing. >> Okay. Okay. Um, >> y couldn't even fit in that shirt. Probably >> I hear you. So, whenever you had the traffic stop, >> tell me about that. What happened out there? >> I mean, this chaos. He just pulled me, put my hands out, and they had me on a gun. Put me felony traffic stop. >> I got you. >> And I'm trying to figure out what's going on. He said something about a gas drive off. >> A gas drive off. Okay. Yeah. >> Um, where were you a law enforcement officer at? >> Here in Mary County >> with the SO. >> Oh, okay. How long were you doing that? >> 14 years. >> Dang. What got you out of that? >> Are you a Chris Blair fan? >> I just didn't like working for Chris Blair. Everything had changed a lot. >> I got you. Okay. All right. So, when did you do that? When did you when did you get out? >> Uh, 2016. I was there from old 2003 till 2016. >> Good for you. What are you doing now? >> Well, now, okay. Um, actually getting ready to start masseuse school. >> Nice. >> I'm supposed to go for my orientation on that on Monday, but I'm an influencer. I also do Walmart Spark and I do Uber Eats and all that kind of stuff. And when he's I don't know what kind of marker, but I do have markers in there because when I have my bins. I mark the the papers on the bins in case I have more than one order. >> Okay. Okay. >> But I don't know if it's my marker or if it's a different marker. >> I got you. Okay. Um All right. So, I saw him pull out a pack of masks. My brother works at a hospital and my brother is HIV positive. So, he keeps all of those masks on deck everywhere. >> Okay. All right. So, we'll get off the beaten path for a second. Just tell me a little bit about yourself besides law enforcement. What do you got going on now? >> I mean, I'm a mother. >> Yeah. >> Of five. I'm going to the massage therapy school. Um, after that, I'm hoping to rent like a little my salon suite, do massage therapy in there. And um in the process or you know while I'm doing that I'm hoping to um start doing like an online boutique whatever try to build that up and one day turn into a brick and mortar. >> Nice. How's the influencer stuff going? >> It's going pretty good. You know I haven't been on it for too long but like I'm moving pretty fast. >> Nice. >> Where where where's what's your platform? >> Mostly Tik Tok. >> Nice. Okay. What kind of influencer do you think you are? Like in what way? >> I like music, but mostly comedy. I do skits and things like that. >> Okay. Awesome. >> So, okay. Um, how many kids you have? >> Five. But my daughter is 20 and Yeah. >> Where's she at? >> She right now she's at the beach with her boyfriend. >> She's still staying in El Cal. >> Yeah, she she lives with me. >> Okay. >> Okay. Um, how old is your youngest? I have 11 year old twin girls. >> Twins? How was that? >> I like having twins. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> And you're I think you're married, correct? >> Mhm. >> Okay. >> My husband is a correction sergeant at the present. >> Okay. Which one? >> L. >> Okay. Um I assume you're like most of the rest of the world, including me. Like everything's been crazy. Um we're probably all going through some pretty hard times. You falling on any hard times or anything like that? >> No, I can show you my bank account. I got I got money in the bank and I think I got a few dollars in my purse. >> Oh, you just show me your bank account. >> Yeah, you know, I live in a gated nice community, Greystone Hills. You know, I got a decent car. I'm not in need of anything. >> Okay. So, obviously you were in law enforcement for as long as you were. Okay. >> Um, you seem like you're a genuine person. >> All right. But I mean, one thing we probably agree on is that neither of us, especially in our careers, >> like fires. Okay? >> Right? >> So, I think we got off on the wrong foot. And the reason I say that is because I want you to understand >> there was a tracker in your car. >> A tracker in my car? >> Yes. Yes. From that money that was being stolen, there's a tracker. You're law enforcement. >> Well, it had to be tracking them. >> So, That tracker is going to show exactly from the moment that money hit that bag. It's going to tell me every second where it was when it stopped. >> Okay. >> Um there's video cameras. There's everything. >> I know. >> And in the bank, >> the female that put the note on the counter. >> Mhm. >> Same nails. And you know what nail is missing on the hand without the glove? >> This nail has been missing cuz I do DUI or DIY stuff. I got you. But that's what I'm saying. Like it was you in the bank. >> No, it was not. >> It was you. >> It was not. >> Okay. >> Can I see the camera? >> No. >> I'm We're not going to get into all that. >> I was looking at these nails because I knew I had to fix these nails. >> I got you. So, you were the person. I want to understand why. Like, >> it wasn't me. Can I see what you're talking about? >> I I'll see if I can pull it up and take a screenshot and show it to you. I will do that. But >> you have to make it make sense, okay? Because that tracker is going to show from the moment you left the bank. I have you on camera when you left the bank where you were going. I've already got those timestamps. I've already got video. >> That's fine. What What bank was it? >> You know what bank? >> No, I'm asking you. What bank was it? Close to that house, obviously. >> Yes, it was. You know what bank it was? >> No, I don't. I'm asking you. I'm a I heard y'all say campus on the thing. Is that on 17th Street? >> It's a bank on the corner of 17th Street and 25th. >> Okay. So, that would come directly down and pass his house. >> I'm not saying >> and he doesn't always like to pull up in his yard because of how his dad is, but it's a field right across the street and that's usually where I meet him. >> But you told me you were there in that yard talking to him for a few minutes, two to three minutes. >> I mean, it was brief. >> Okay. >> It was brief. And that tracker is going it's those trackers are very detailed. >> The tracker is going to show you that. >> Okay. Okay. Um why did you >> Now I don't know what they did on the way back there or where they went. >> I got you. Okay. Let's not dig oursel further into >> I'm not I you are not going to show I need to see this. >> I got you. I hear what you're saying. Yeah, >> but >> let's let's just go over the facts, okay? >> There was a bank robbery today, >> okay? >> Everything from that bank robbery was in your car. >> The person that did that bank robbery matches you to include your nails with the two same missing nails. >> Well, show me. >> And you're saying when they came back and you talked to them in the yard for a few minutes and then you left it. >> Why would they go rob a bank? >> Maybe they got freaked out. I don't know. It's not true. >> You're not going to show me a picture of me in that face. >> I'm giving you the opportunity to tell me why. >> I can't tell you why because it wasn't me. >> It was you. >> Show me the picture of me. >> Listen. And whenever you drop the note off, you use your hand without the glove. You don't think your fingerprints are going to be all over that note? >> Then get my fingerprints. >> Okay. All right. >> I mean, it it wasn't me. >> Okay. I'm going to step out for a few minutes and I'll be back in. Can you please show me a picture? >> I'll try to get a good screenshot. Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. So, think about it. I'll be back in a few minutes. All right. And I I I really just want to understand why this happened today. >> I want to understand, too. Can you show me the picture? Or can the lady identify me? >> You know why? >> No, I don't. I want to see what you're saying. >> All right. All right. So, obviously this isn't as good as the actual video because it's a still shot, but right there is your hand. Okay. >> That person don't even look like >> But listen, listen listen. >> Can I see it? >> Sure. >> That's crazy. That That person don't even look like they have nails. >> Yeah, they do. There's an entire There's There's an entire video. >> Look how long my nails are. >> I see that. Okay. I'm not debating if it's you. I know it's you. >> How can you know that's me? I can tell you >> from that picture. >> Okay. So, when you were stopped today, were you the only person in your car? >> Stop. Yeah. When y'all stopped? >> So, when you left that bank, >> Mhm. >> that tracker tells us when you're walking, what speed you're going, when you're going. You never stopped. Your car never stopped. From the moment you left that bank, only times it pauses is the stop light, the stoplight, and then shows you. >> It must have been a glitch. >> It's not a glitch. >> It must have been a glitch. That report is going to be in your file. Okay. It shows >> I didn't put that in my file, but I mean, >> listen. So, let's let's cut. >> Are you going to take me to jail based on that? >> 100%. You are under arrest. >> Please, sir. >> You're going to jail tonight. >> Please, sir. >> There is no doubt in my mind that you did this. >> Why? >> All the facts. >> Just a picture. >> So, this is your opportunity. No, not just a picture. videos, pictures, evidence. >> The let me see me on the video. That doesn't look like me. Please, I will take you to >> Why did you do this today? >> I will take you to Ryan. I did not do this. Please, sir, do not do this to me. Please. >> Please, that is not me. Sir, please. I have a funeral to go to. >> You're not going to make your funeral. >> That Please, sir. That is not me. I am begging you in Jesus' name. Please, can I look at it again? That is not me. >> No. Your car never stopped from the moment you left. I don't know about that, sir. I don't >> I do. There's a lie. >> Okay. I don't know what might have happened. >> Okay. >> It was not a long time that I sat there with her. >> Why did you do this today, >> sir? I did not do that. Please, please, please. You got to go let me talk to this lady. Please don't do Don't leave me. Please don't leave me. Please. >> I'm going to get your paperwork going so you can >> Sir, please don't leave me. Please, please don't leave me. I Oh my god. Can you do some more investigating and just let me go home? I'm not a flight risk. There will be plenty of investigation further after this. >> Yes, please. This is so major. >> Everything that I have right now, you're under arrest. >> Lord Jesus, please don't do this. Please let the people go identify me. Please, please, please. I am begging YOU SO BAD. THAT IS NOT ME, SIR. >> I got you. Please. >> Please, sir. Please, sir. Oh my god. Oh, that was not me. That was not me. That was not me. That was not me. That was not me. That was not me. Like, wouldn't wouldn't wouldn't the lady have to identify me, >> Mr. Please. >> You know just as well as anybody else. You being in law enforcement, you know exactly what we have. Listen. Listen. I'm not done talking. >> Did she Did she say it was me? >> Your fingerprint on the note says it was you. We're done. >> Paper is in my car. >> You're right. That's >> paper because I'm a crafter. >> Keep going. >> I'm a crafter. >> You have paper in your car. Keep going. >> So they can't use something that's in my car. >> No. The note that you handed to the bank teller with your hand that didn't have the glove on had your fingerprint on it. >> Oh, all of my paper is gonna have my fingerprint on it. >> You're right. Keep going. >> Because it's my paper. >> You're right. Keep going. >> It's my paper. >> Keep going. We're We're talking about the same thing. We're talking the same language. Keep going. You want to know what evidence we have? Keep going. >> Yes. I want to know what evidence you have. >> Your shoes, your clothes, your fingerprints on the note. >> I told them what happened with the clothes. I know what kind of shoes you have. And that's all [ __ ] So, we're done. You're going to jail for armed robbery OF A GUN. >> ARMED ROBBERY? >> YES, MA'AM. >> ARMED ROBBERY? >> YES, MA'AM. >> SO, they're trying to say I stuck A GUN AT THEM. >> NO, the note that you handed to them said that you had a gun. >> Let me see the note. >> You wrote it. >> I DON'T I DIDN'T WRITE NO NOTE. >> OKAY, WE'RE DONE. >> I didn't write a note. That stuff is in my car. That's the stuff I keep in my car for my work. >> WELL, >> IF IT'S MY PAPER, my prints can be on there anytime. >> And they were today. So, >> I wouldn't be surprised because it's my paper. >> And we're not surprised either because you handed them a note without a glove on. >> I did not. >> You did. >> I did not. >> I'm not arguing with you. I did not. >> I'm telling you. >> I did not. >> Okay, we're done. >> HOW OFF OF THAT? LOOKS LIKE my hand. >> No, it's your fingerprint. Your only finger. >> Where's my face? That's mine. >> Understand that you're going to jail in just a minute. That's the end of it. And you can fight this whenever you fight it. But you're going to jail. We have enough evidence. >> But why wouldn't why wouldn't you try to at least have her identify me or try to talk to these people? >> We did identify you. It's >> and she said it was me. >> We have you identified. It's it can't be anymore. >> Can I see me? >> No, you cannot. Why can't I see me? >> We're not doing that right now. You're going to jail. >> What would MAKE YOU THINK SOMETHING was me? >> Because it is you. >> IT'S JUST A PICTURE OF ME. Can I see it? >> No. No. >> Why can't I see a picture? >> Because we're not doing that. You can >> Why can't I see a picture of me? >> You get this. Whenever you get your attorney, you can go through all this. >> There's no picture of me. That's impossible. >> It's not impossible cuz you're right here. >> There's no picture of me. >> Okay. So that story that you gave about >> my face, my picture, my hair, >> my body, >> Miss Dagger, >> you my voice, >> you understand that it doesn't matter what you say about your previous work in law enforcement. >> I'm not talking >> and about your PC and about identifying and all that other stuff. There's other ways to identify somebody has done something. And here you say, >> and that's all I want to know is what did y'all use to identify me other than you said that looks like my hand? >> Your hand. Your nails that are not Those NAILS THAT HE SHOWED ME, THAT PERSON don't even look like they got nails. My nails are long. >> You're right. You're missing two. And then when you slide the note and slap it down in front of the >> I DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY DID, BUT THAT PERSON doesn't even look like they have nails on that picture. >> If that's the defense you want to go with, that's fine. >> It don't look like I don't care. I don't I really don't care. The point of the matter is you're going to jail. Is it a better picture than >> you're asking what's happening? You are going to jail. That is point blank period. What is happening? That is the end of it. So, in just a few minutes when Detective Feifer is done with his probable cause affidavit, you are going to jail for robbery. >> Get the benefit of a doubt of going before my accuser and having them say that it's me. >> You will absolutely get that right. Just not today. >> Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my lord. Dear Jesus. Oh my lord. Dear Jesus.
