I work at the jail. I know my rights. I said, "No, back up." She was banging on my window, freaking opening my doors. I'm not stupid. Hello. >> That's it. You can't. >> On May 21st, 2023, two teenage girls urgently called 911, stating that a 38-year-old woman had break checked them, causing a crash in the middle of the highway. Here's what happened when officers arrived. >> Listen, don't go don't lose cop [ __ ] with me. So, my car is messed up. This girl, I don't know what she thought she was. I was literally already on the phone. I told my sister to call you guys. Can I talk? Anyways, I told my sister to call you guys, right? Already when she was already almost causing me a crash. >> You stay in the car. >> Go get in the car. >> She was banging on my window, freaking opening my door trying to She was scaring me. Like, I was literally scared for my life. >> No, I'm not. No, I'm not. With me. No, I'm going to tell you right now. Listen. I'm going to tell you right now. Literally, she kept going in front of me. I'm like trying to get away from her. She break checked me. I'm already over here trying to get over the side. >> I know. I already called dispatch. I know you guys were already on the phone with 91 and they heard the accident. >> Yeah. I was going home. >> Here. >> No, because she keeps coming to my car like I don't know. >> Listen, don't don't lose cop [ __ ] with me. >> The officer quickly noticed that Tara was drunk. We all know that Karens are bad enough as it is, but when they're drunk, their entitlement evolves like a Pokemon. Let's see what Karen I mean Terra is getting up to now. Can I have your license? Ma'am, I need your light. Can you step out of the vehicle? The officer with the bald head, what's his name? >> Roger. He is over here. But you please go over here and please involved in a crash. If you're involved in a crash, you can't shut the door. Okay? >> I don't I don't want you to open my door. NO. I SAID NO. >> YOU CAN'T SHUT THE DOOR. >> I said no. I said no. I said no. I work at the jail. I know my rights. I said no. Back up. >> You know what TO DO. >> BACK UP AND GET OFF MY PROPERTY. >> YOU DON'T HAVE TO do this. >> No. YOU DON'T HAVE TO. It seems like Julia feels a sense of superiority to the law because she works at a jail. Sorry, honey. Jail employees and all people are subject to the same laws. But she was about to find that out in the most embarrassing way possible. >> I'm not stupid. Hello. >> All right, that's it. You can't You can't You can't be a You can't be hand. You're going to get tased. You're going to get tased. >> Stop. >> All right. YOU'RE GOING TO GET TASED. >> Step out. Step out. YOU CAN STEP OUT NOW. >> ALL RIGHT. THERE YOU GO. Give me your hand. Give me your hand. >> Even after that humbling experience, Tara thinks she's entitled to negotiate with the officers. Unfortunately for her, the law doesn't negotiate with criminals. >> Put your feet in. I'm trying to talk to you. >> Wait, you know me. >> I need you to put your feet in. >> Put your feet in the car. >> Talk to the window. >> I know you. >> That's what I'm going to do. Put your feet in the car and we'll talk to the window. >> You know me and I know you. I didn't do anything wrong. These girls came up on me and they were racing me and they >> work through it. But I need you to put your feet in the car. >> We'll work through it. But put your feet in the car. Okay, >> we'll work through it, but put your feet in the car. Not doing this, >> Tara. Your quote connections don't mean anything when you are the problem. But as her fate started to dawn on her, she quickly went from crying like a child to bullying the same officers she begged just seconds ago. >> Sarge, STOP. DON'T PUT THE WINDOW UP ON ME. THAT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY, BRO. I WORK AT THE JAIL, BRO. That's not funny. That's funny. You're on camera. That's >> I'm not laughing, but you're SCREAMING AND YELLING. >> SMILE ON YOUR FACE and I know him personally, so that's going to look bad on you. You got a smile like Jasper on your face. >> I'm not smiling. >> Well, then you got a serious ugly face. >> Please sit. Go sit. Turn. Sit down. >> I don't want him in this car. >> That's too bad. It's his car. >> No, I don't. Then I want to go in a different car. This is not funny. >> He's laughing. >> Nobody's laughing. >> Instead of booking people into jail, Tara went ahead and booked herself, facing three felony counts of battery on an officer, DUI with property damage, and reckless driving. But what happens when a road rage Karen tries to get the victim arrested? >> And here he is about to shoot me. About to kill this Muslim terrorist. What? >> You said you wasn't funny, >> but I am the one who's a victim here. I need somebody Muslim to help me out with this. >> On the morning of May 22nd, 2024, police in Kain County received a call from a man stating that he'd been veered off the road and assaulted by a woman. Officers thought this was just another traffic dispute until they met Ream. >> All right, I'm on my way to you. What happened to me? >> Islamophobia. Come here. >> This is going to be No. I'm driving, minding my own business, right? This is recorded, right? >> Yep. It's recorded over here. >> So, if you back him up because he's white. You're going to pay for it. >> I don't want you to get hit. >> So, here's the thing. I'm driving, minding my own business, following the speed limit. Here comes this WHITE GUY TRYING TO outspeed me. Are you listening to me or not? >> I'm trying to tell my people that I'm out with you. So, give me one second. >> Cuz you're not going to defend Islamophobia. >> Give me one second. >> He tried to kill me. >> He tried to kill me. I'm about to videotape this. >> Yeah, he's Islamophobia. >> Okay. So, can we talk about what happened? >> So, I'm driving, minding my own business. There's this Islamophobic white guy behind me, literally driving me to I don't know where, almost about to hit me. >> So, I'm slowing down because I don't know what's going on. And he starts like, you know, breaking and breaking and breaking and breaking on his way to try to kill me. So, here I am trying to avoid him. I need somebody Muslim to help me out with this. >> Watching Re spiral out of control within seconds, the officers already had a solid guess about who the problem was. And that guess was confirmed when she practically snitched on herself. >> Are you watching? >> Ma'am, can we please just pause? >> Is anybody watching? >> Where did this start? >> Okay, you're not going to help me pay for racist Islamophobia because this is getting out of hand. >> Where did this start? >> On the street, one of these streets while I'm driving just it's a beautiful day. I have no work. I'm not working. Just minding my own business. Driving out of nowhere, a guy with a in a blue Toyota behind me rushing me to I don't know where. So the guy is white and that's his people and look what they're doing. They're making it look like that I am the problem. I AM NOT THE PROBLEM. I AM THE ONE WHO HE TRIED TO RUN ME OVER WITH HIS CAR and avoided him successfully and I'm still scared. SO HERE I AM DRIVING to the police to make the police report. Next thing I know, you're behind me for what? >> Okay. Did you follow him into any any buildings or any property? >> No. I tried to avoid him cuz I don't know if he has a gun and here he is. I'm going to shoot you. You're going to shoot me. You're not going to shoot me. I'm not scared of you. I TOLD HIM, "YOU'RE NOT GOING TO KILL ME." >> OKAY. Did you Did you approach him at all? >> He approached me and then he ran in his car and closed the door. And that's when I had water and I threw the water at him. I threw the water. >> Why did you throw the water at him? When he got in his car, why did you throw the water at him? >> No. No. Don't tell me his car when he came over. I'm from New York and you're not going to MAKE HIM GET AWAY WITH what he did. Islamophobia. >> Did he make any any comments about your race or religion? >> He did. He did. >> What did he say? >> He said Muslim terrorist. He called me. That's what he called you. >> Yes, he did. And he tried to assassinate me. >> Realizing what she had just done, Ree quickly tries to downplay the situation by trying to play the victim card. But unfortunately, the damage was already done. >> So, I'm here to make a police report. So, I'm on my way to get in my car to make a police report. >> But ma'am, we are the police report. I'm telling you that. >> Give me my police report so I can get out of this. >> That's not how this works. >> He was tailgating me. Not only that, but when I avoided him, he almost ran into me through traffic to try to still come in in front of me. >> Was he trying to pass you? >> No, he wasn't. >> How How did you try to How did you try to avoid Oh, he passed you >> successfully, >> but he was not done with me because I'm a Muslim terrorist, right? >> So, he passed you. >> I am done talking to you. >> So, he passed you and then break checked you? >> He breaked me 100 times. >> 100 times. >> A lot of times on my way to try to avoid him. I do not know where I'm going to avoid this guy. I almost hit all kinds of people trying to avoid this. And finally, I manipulate him all the way until he gets out of the way. And here he is about to shoot me. About to kill this Muslim terrorist. What? >> How do you know he was about to shoot you? >> BECAUSE HE'S SAYING IT. HE'S NOT AFRAID OF SAYING IT. >> HE WAS IN HIS CAR, RIGHT? >> He was in his car after he attacked me. Do you not understand? >> But we we're not there yet. We're still on the roadway. When Ree saw the officers were actually fact-checking her instead of blindly arresting the guy like she demanded, she snapped even harder because apparently reality checks hurt her feelings. >> I don't know why you're so invested in this, right? >> So he I'm not sure why you're so invested in this. >> So he passed you and then >> water. This was my protection against him. EVERYBODY IS WATCHING. ARE YOU WATCHING? So he passed you and then break checked you how numerous times. >> And then how did you maneuver him out of literally shaken from what he did? >> How did you maneuver him out of the way? >> He ended up going the opposite of the opposite of the um of traffic and I ended up going my way. So here he comes behind me. Here I am avoiding him over here. Here he is going over there waiting to do I don't know what I don't know if he was when he went to the uh the little I think it was like a little uh industry place when he was going there. I don't know if he was going to U-turn to try to kill me again. So, right here I am going there thinking it's probably a police station where this place is at. >> So, you followed him in there? >> No, no, no. He followed me in turned. >> You said he was You said he was in front of you. >> But I am THE ONE WHO'S A VICTIM HERE. DO YOU UNDERSTAND? I'm just trying to get it figured out. So, he was in front of you. I still don't know how you maneuvered him out of the way. Just as the officers were about to lose patience entirely, they proceeded to review surveillance footage to find out who the real victim is. >> I have a picture of his car. >> Can I see a picture of his car? >> Yes, you can. >> The the black truck? >> Nope. The blue one. >> Oh, that's his car. >> That's his car. >> Oh, okay. Well, another blue Prius or >> Yeah, another blue Prius. >> Did that damage get caused by the incident? >> I am not answering any questions. So, when you guys pulled into that place up there, was he still in front of you or was he behind you and then you guys both got out of your cars? And then at what point did you throw the water bottle at him >> and then I have to sue you for what's happening here? >> I'm trying to I'm trying to get everybody's statement so that we can get the story straight. All right. >> Okay. So, I I want you to talk. >> I'm not answering any more questions. I explained you what happened. >> Well, at this point, we don't even know who you are either. >> What is happening here? Are you getting the police report or >> our partners are out with him? We're just getting some information right now. >> Right. You're manipulating the system. You know, you cannot manipulate the system. >> This was the officer's cue to finally shut down the RE show. But she's got as much time as your unemployed friend on a Tuesday. So, her yap session continued. >> Hey, so ma'am, you're going to be under arrest for assault. Okay. >> Assault? What assault? I did not assault nobody. So, you protected your own white people. >> That's not how it goes. >> Yes, it does. I did not assault her. try to kill you because I'm Muslim >> and that will be that will be duly noted in the report. You protected the fallen angel knowing that they have no future. >> Hey ma'am, is that too tight or is that okay? >> Not touch me. I'm a Muslim. We're going to take a seat. >> Cannot touch me. I am a Muslim. What about my car? >> Well, take get your car taken care of. Take a seat, ma'am. >> So, I'm going to jail. >> Yes, you're going. Yes. For assault, ma'am. >> For I did not assault nobody. >> Can you take a seat? Can you scoot this way a little bit, PLEASE? >> YOU KNOW, I'M A MUSLIM. ISLAMOPHOBIA. YOU DID IT. YOU DID YOUR ISLAMOPHOBIA AND YOU protected your own people. Then I will THE MUHAMMAD IS GOING TO TAKE IT. THE MUHAMMAD IS GOING TO TAKE IT. >> ASSAULTED LIAR. >> Thank you. >> As it would turn out, blaming someone else for your road rage madness doesn't magically make you innocent. But it does magically grant you a charge for aggravated assault. First, it [music] was Terra's madness, then Ream's yap session, but nothing even comes close to the road rage mayhem from Kayla. Yes, that one. On September 25th, 2023, officers in Marshfield received a call reporting a woman screaming and freaking out over a minor fender bender. Given Kayla's history with the Marshfield PD arriving officers immediately wished that they were leaving officers. >> OH MY GOD. WHY are you get away from me? >> Ma'am, who's involved in the accident? >> From what I gathered is her. She rear ended him because he was sitting on a light THAT WAS SCREAMING. >> OFFICER, I HAVE TO GO. >> You can't leave yet. DON'T LEAVE. >> I'M IN I HAVE I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF AN ORDER. I have food IN MY CAR. I HAVE FOOD IN MY CAR. YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN. >> I HAVE FOOD IN MY CAR. >> CALM DOWN. >> I HAVE FOOD IN MY CAR. >> STAND OVER HERE. >> Leave me alone. Babe, you need to get here. You need to get here. >> You can go. >> Here now. >> So, what happened? Um, the leg turned. There's a car in front of me and all a sudden I got hit from behind. >> Okay. >> And then I pulled over here. >> All right. >> If you aren't familiar with Kayla, here's a fun fact about her. She's got an impressive vocal range. And she's here to prove it by literally screaming at the top of her lungs. Kayla, >> I'm in front of Pik. >> KAYLA, WHAT HAPPENED? >> NO. THESE COPS ARE PISSING me the off. >> Kayla, you're not going anywhere. You're not going anywhere. >> No. >> All right, Kayla, you're going to be detained. You're going to be detained. >> Stop. >> Why are you running away? >> HE WOULDN'T LET THERE WAS A GREEN LIGHT. [screaming] GO >> ACCIDENT. Why are you yelling? Why are you freaking out? >> Cuz I'm IN THE MIDDLE OF WORK. YOU NEED TO GET HERE NOW. These cops are they're pinning me to a corn. >> Damn, we're we're trying to gather information so we can get you out of here. >> Kayla, >> my car is >> Kayla. >> My car is I need Are you going to start? I need >> You're not starting your car. No, no, no, no, no. You're not getting it. I'm not getting started. >> No, please. Okay. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Please get here. Please. The cops are trying to arrest me. Kayla, we're not here to arrest you. >> Kayla, can we sit over here, PLEASE? >> PLEASE, NO. >> KAYLA, >> GET HERE NOW. PLEASE. >> We just had to conduct. >> Get here now. >> OKAY. >> GET HERE NOW. >> THIS COULD BE solved very. >> These cops are so ready to clock out and go home. Even they know she's the absolute most. If she'd just listen, she could have delivered her order 20 minutes ago. Kayla secretly either loves the chaos she creates or lacks comprehension skills, but I'll leave that up to you to decide. >> I didn't do anything. >> Kayla, get out of the street. GET OUT OF THE STREET. >> I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG. >> [screaming] >> [ __ ] My life is over. >> YEAH, >> IT WAS GREAT. >> KAYLA, I have to do an accident investigation. >> Oh, I just got into a car accident. My car sucks. >> Kayla, it's okay. >> It's okay. >> Hey, Kayla, do you have insurance? >> Okay. >> I got it. [screaming] >> IT LOOKS RIDABLE. STOP. WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING? >> I'M NOT. Your radiator's [ __ ] up yourself. >> Your radiator. >> Whether Kayla knows it or not, these officers are holding a ton of restraint. She's already in the position to be charged with obstruction in disorderly conduct if she keeps up her act. Do you think that would scare Kayla, though? Yeah. No. >> Are you okay? Are you okay? >> Oh my god. >> Your radiator's not touching. >> You should be able to drive it. You're not leaving. >> THE LIGHT WAS GREEN. IT WAS GREEN. [screaming] >> WE JUST GOT TO GET SOME PICTURES. >> NO. NO. >> WELL, there's no damage to his. It doesn't seem like there's just damage to yours. >> Yeah, I know. Great. Funny. Great. Get away from me. >> HOW IN ACTION? >> DON'T TALK TO ME. >> WHY ARE YOU DON'T TALK TO ME. >> WHY ARE YOU FREAKING OUT? I CAN'T fix this. >> Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. >> Kayla, GET OUT OF THE STREAM. >> GET OUT OF THE ROOM. [screaming] >> GET OUT OF THE ROOM. >> LEAVE ME ALONE. >> GET OUT. >> LEAVE ME ALONE. >> I'M NOT GOING TO LEAVE. >> GET THE OUT OF MY FACE. >> IT'S A PRETTY SIMPLE accident invest. >> I'm not doing anything. You're >> not GOING ON THE ROAD. >> You are not going to go on the road. >> THIS IS INSANE. THIS IS INSANE. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT. [ __ ] YOU. YOU GUYS ARE [ __ ] >> Okay. You want to TELL US WHAT HAPPENED? >> NO. THE LIGHT WAS GREEN AND HE DIDN'T GO. >> DO YOU HAVE her current information? Do you have insurance? >> I'm not giving you anything. >> You have insurance? >> I'm not giving you anything. >> All right. Well, we'll just give her a citation for no proof of insurance. >> Okay. Give me a citation. I DON'T CARE. WHAT AM I GETTING A CITATION FOR? >> YOU CAN CALL Officer Bird tomorrow and let him know who your insurance is. >> No. >> Okay. Well, then you will be cited for that. >> That's fine. I don't care. Did you go through a red light? >> My goodness. >> Kayla clearly didn't learn her lesson the first time or the second. Yeah, she got arrested again after this incident. But maybe fourth time is the charm. Just when you thought you've seen the worst of road rage Karens, this woman nearly ran over a 14-year-old boy, then got the surprise of her life when police showed up at her door. >> You probably didn't know at the time, but he's a juvenile. He's 14 years old. >> Oh, you found him? >> I am traumatized for that because I literally could have died. It all began in June 2025 when officers in Flaggler County responded to a call from a terrified teenage boy stating that an angry woman had chased him down in her SUV while driving on the sidewalk in shock. The teen even recorded a video of it happening. >> There's this lady trying to hit me. >> What's going on? >> I was just driving. Um she's driving right behind me and they saw him seemly going on the walk past seemed like a teenager grabbed a motorized bike behind him. Um it's dim situation. So I followed them at a basically the same pace about 30 mph or so >> like on the sidewalk. >> Yeah, I was following. They were on the sidewalk. They had turned right here. I turned in front of her so she couldn't chasing me. Did you hear her saying anything when she was having her up on the >> Yeah, she said the kid was driving fast in the neighborhood and almost hit her dog, which regardless. >> Yeah, I know. >> That's not how we deal with things as adults. >> You said you had video. >> Yeah, >> she has on her dog. >> I know you sent it to us, but I didn't have time to look at it yet. So he's until this point. The officers still hadn't seen the footage, so they remained skeptical. That was until the witness pulled out his phone. >> Did it look like a dirt bike or like an ebike? >> It looked like a motorized bicycle. Um >> like an ebike type. Did you hear it or you just >> No, it was definitely an ebike. I didn't hear any motorized. I don't think >> doesn't look like it's going to end well. >> No, I don't like >> the few times that she sped up. >> I think we got a tag for it. We're going to go try knocking the door. But I appreciate you guys doing that. Thank you. All right, guys. Uh, stay home safe. Appreciate you. >> Have a good day. >> You, too. You're probably wondering what could have possibly made this woman so enraged that she thought risking a minor's life was a good idea. Well, the officer was about to find out. >> Here's what happened. I live right there. I'm 65 years old. I had both of my hips replaced. >> Okay. >> I also have a dog. I was throwing the ball up, the squeaky toy for him. He wasn't in the street. This boy comes down on the sidewalk 35 mph. I'm not kidding you. >> Two nights ago or in the evening, I'm on the street that goes along there. He comes right at me and I was like, "You have to slow down when people are here." >> Mhm. >> He thought that was funny. So, they go more. And so, then tonight, so I get my car to try to catch him cuz I thought he lived in the neighborhood. I wanted to either see where he lived >> to talk to his mother nicely or I wanted to talk to him nicely. >> Mhm. cuz I thought he was my neighbor. No, he's doing that. Guess what? He doesn't even live in here. >> Trying to get someone's attention is one thing, but driving on the sidewalk like a maniac to do it is a bit much. >> 65 years old, right? You think it's a smart idea to be driving up on a sidewalk doing 30 m hour chasing a kid on a bike? >> Answer the question. >> I don't consider that a sidewalk. >> What do you consider it? >> There's cars on there all the time. They're parked up on the grass so they can walk on the sidewalk. >> You are doing I got you for at least 3 minutes >> up on the sidewalk driving recklessly over 30 m an hour from what my reporting party told me. >> And you can see he was going faster than me. >> Do you still think you're correct? >> I do understand. I was very emotional. >> Okay. So maybe you think you collect yourself as a 65-year-old woman about what you were doing. you would hit anybody else on that sidewalk besides this kid if you didn't. >> I said there was no I I I'm not disagreeing with you, but I >> You're wrong for trying to make this sound correct on your end. Okay, >> you're 100% wrong. >> I want you to listen. >> I'm listening. >> This kid does it again. You chase him in your car again, we'll get you for aggravated assault. >> Of course, I'm not going to. >> But you did it. >> I know. >> And you were willing to chase this kid as far as it could go until this other car, this person that called us, stopped you. They blocked you at the sidewalk. Correct. >> Yeah. >> Where does this make sense to you? >> Okay. It doesn't. If this kid calls us back after he goes home and talks to his parents, I know where you're at. We'll probably take him to jail. Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Your car is considered a deadly weapon. >> Touch him. >> Doesn't matter. Aggravated assault. Assault is not a physical contact. It's the threat of contact. >> Okay. All right. I'm not going to say anything else. >> The following day, the officer responded to the teen victim's house where his parents were clearly angry about the situation. >> So, for for something like criminal like that, there has to be intent. And I looked, I already interviewed her and she said she was just trying to get your attention. >> But here's the problem. She put my child to death. >> I understand that. >> So whatever it is, I don't care if we're stretching it to the banks. I'm pressing charges. >> Okay, let me um >> you got child endangerment. Attend to kidnap cuz I don't know her attempt. >> Yeah. Yeah. Well, I mean that's You can't attempt to kidnap, but >> dude, I got video of someone chasing on the sidewalk at 20. >> I understand. I understand. It's definitely uh >> and I mean I need I need a report because if if this doesn't go anywhere I'm I'm legaling up and I'm going balls to the wall. >> I am traumatized from that though because >> okay >> when I came home I was shaking. >> Yeah. So >> she swerved like she overtook me. She went on the grass and overtook me almost hitting me. >> I swerved over onto Pine Lakes waving someone down and she got out of her car and told me to come to her. I'm like no >> you just tried to hit me. One look at the father and the officer knew his anger was justified. But to hit that point home, the boy pulls up the footage he captured on that terrifying night. >> Come on, dude. Man, just chased him on the sideline. >> He tried to hit me [clears throat] and play no more. He just focused on trying to hit you. >> No, until she landed. Did he did he say that he owned a witness or whatever? >> I >> I can check if not. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. So for for something like criminal like that, there has to be intent. And I looked, I already interviewed her and she said she was just trying to get your attention. >> But here's the problem. She put my child in danger. >> I understand that. >> When you got child endangerment, attempt to kidnap cuz I don't know her intent. And I mean, I need I need a report because if if this doesn't go anywhere, I'm I'm legaling up and I'm going balls to the wall, okay? against everybody. >> So, I want charges pressed. I want a police report done with her info, her license, everything. >> All right. What's going on, sir? >> The teen has luckily secured solid video evidence and multiple witness testimonies backing him up, helping build an even stronger case on the road raging. Karen, identified as Julia, would be tracked down later that night to a residential neighborhood where officers would pay her a surprise visit. >> Are you arresting me? Yes, >> I'm not saying that. I have to talk to you first. Okay. To get your side of the story before you arrest me. >> I'm not saying that. So, what happened on was it Saturday on the the 7th? >> I think so. Um, >> so give me your side of the story first. So, when you were following him, did you ever get close to him? >> I don't think so. No, I couldn't catch up with him. >> So, you were trying to catch up to him >> enough that I could talk to him. Yeah. To tell him what I was >> So, he's speeding away and you were continuing to follow him. >> Why would you just Why would you keep on following? >> I I just >> That was stupid. Stupid. >> I should I shouldn't have done it. I should have done it. >> So, when you were on the sidewalk, did you ever try to get in front of him before you started following? >> Yeah. before I started following >> or before you went on the sidewalk cuz that's the story I got that right before you hopped on the sidewalk or maybe as soon as it happened you kind of like tried to cut him off. >> I tried to come around. I didn't try to cut him off. >> So you try to go around him you're saying? >> Yeah. >> Okay. And what was your goal to going around him? >> Okay. How fast were you going >> when you were as fast as he was? I don't know. >> Okay. So you were trying to catch up to him even though he's going pretty fast on a sidewalk with a bike. Okay. >> You understand where we're coming from here? >> I do. I do >> cuz it's it's ridiculous. It is. I I I feel that way, too. My >> And >> I can't disagree with you. It is ridiculous. >> Mhm. Your main goal was to just try to talk to him. That's it. >> I'm just going to tell you what it seems like for me. Seems like this was an anger kind of like driven thing. Is that true or not? >> I was angry, but I just wanted to talk to him and tell him, you know, I would have spoken even. Um I got out of the car and I was like I just I even said to him, "Will you talk to me?" And he said, "No." and he just, you know, kept going. >> I mean, >> so why would you keep on following after that >> if he doesn't want to talk to you? >> That was stupid. >> Okay. You >> Oh, I wanted to see where he lived to tell his mother. I >> And what what happened once the other Cuz I the other couple or whatever, they blocked you off from But were you trying to keep on following him after they blocked you off? >> Trying to get away from them. I don't know what they're going to do. >> Well, I think they were just trying to help the uh the guy on the bike out cuz it from their angle, it doesn't look good. You know what I mean? >> Right. All right. I understand. >> All right. So, um, >> and I'm not disagreeing with you or arguing with him or anything. I mean, when I thought about it, when I got home, I was like, you know, I was still, you know, upset over being afraid that I was going to, you know, not be able to walk and hit the dog. And then after I could stop and think about it, um, I was like, don't that was ridiculous. Like you said, it was ridiculous, man. It's okay. It's okay. Don't let that happen again. out. >> Julia desperately tried to play the victim, but all she really played was herself. >> I mean, you probably didn't know at the time, but he was a he's a juvenile. He's 14 years old. >> Oh, you found him? >> Yeah. That's the reason why we're here. It's cuz Okay. >> They're I'm going to be honest. They want They want to press charges. I also went to the witness's house. He recorded you following on the bike down the bike path. >> I'm going to be honest with you. Based on what we have now, I'm going to be making an arrest on aggravated assault and the reckless driving, too. based on everything that I have. Okay. Have to. It's purple. So, just turn around for me. Put your hands behind your back like you're praying. >> Okay, buddy. >> Do you have anyone that can watch the dog? Julia played the victim, played herself, and clearly played Monopoly because she rolled straight into jail facing charges for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, reckless driving, and a citation for driving on a pedestrian path. Next, meet a road raging couple who needs a serious reality check. Back in January 2023, Florida police were just concluding a crash investigation caused by a couple who break [music] checked another driver. But right as they were about to clear the scene, everything exploded into chaos. >> All right, miss. Unfortunately, you are going to be found at fault for the crash. All right. So, in the state of Florida, if you're in a merge lane, someone's in the straight through lane, they have the right away, which means it doesn't matter that he's sped up, you slow down and you get behind them. The fact that you sped up and crossed over. >> We didn't speed up to cross over. We were saying the same speed. >> Did you say you said the car? >> No. >> So even even if you did that >> you don't do that cuz I will arrest you. Next word outside your mouth. Better just be quiet. >> No, that's a threat. That is a threat. I tell you what. Tell you what. Hold this. Turn around. Put your hands behind your back. >> N you resist, you will get tased. I'm telling you that right now. Put your hands behind. >> I haven't done nothing wrong. Out of all the decisions you can make, this couple makes the worst ones possible. And threatening an officer was just another one to add to the list. >> Put your hands Put your hands behind your back. You're going to get tased. >> You're scing, bro. >> Stop. >> Put your hands behind YOUR BACK NOW. PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK OR you're going to get tased. Stop resisting or you're going to get tased. >> I don't care. I will, dude. I WILL HAVE YOUR JOB. >> WHAT'S YOUR name and badge number? >> What's your name and badge number? Huh? >> Turn around. Huh? What's your name? >> Please do it, man. >> I wish you take off that bag, man. Okay, stop moving. >> I think I wish you would take off, man. >> And do what? Are you threatening me? >> No. I think I wish you would. >> I wish you would take off that bag. >> Shut up. >> I wish you would. You just told me. >> No, I didn't. I hope you have that on record for you. >> Oh, I hope you do. >> Okay. >> And I wish you take off that goddamn belt, boy. >> Keep threatening. No charge. >> Oh, no. That ain't correct. >> It's a freedom of speech, sir. It's not freedom OF SPEECH. YES, IT IS. >> IT IS AMENDMENT RIGHT. GO OVER THERE NOW. >> Touch me one more time and I'm going to have your whole department. >> You're so overwhelmed, my guy. You're so overwhelmed. Have a seat. >> That's it. That's it, mama. We're calling the lawyer. >> Feeling the situation heat up, the woman tries to sneakily escape, but obviously not blind. The officer sees her do this and immediately gives chase. >> You're going to jail. >> You are being placed under arrest. I have money. I don't care. I HAVE MONEY. I'M GOING TO GIVE him3 airport. >> I'm going to call you. >> You cannot. That is my property. >> He's attending the second uh white goard everything. You better let them know. >> Let my children go. >> I don't know who's on the phone, but I'm hanging up. >> I've been on the phone the entire time. Heard everything. Let my kids go. >> This couple needs to be referred to Dr. Insanity to cure their insanity. Apparently, it runs in the family. And while other officers arrive and get filled in on the drama, they'll soon see what the entitlement of this couple is really like. So there it started off as a driver crash there. The females at I'm pretty sure the male half was driving cuz he got out and started beating on the guy's window, but whatever. She says she was driving cuz he don't have a license. They're in the merge lane. There's a driver uh half a car links about ahead of them. They try to fly forward and pass him. Wind up getting clipped on on their passenger right side. Okay. So you're at fault. You you shouldn't have tried to pass the guy. He has a rightway. It's a straight through lane. There's no He doesn't have any yield signs. Fast forward explaining to them that they're at fault. He gets pissed off, starts threatening the other driver as I'm standing. I'm like, "Bro, you can't do that in front of me." Oh, no. Okay, then you can just go to jail. So, I go to detain him. Starts resisting. I don't know who the hell he is. I don't know who he works for. I don't care. Finally get him detained. After pulling out the taser and pointing it at him as I'm putting him in the back of the car, she reaches in. I'm like, "Yo, get back." She reaches in again and tries to grab the cig cigarettes or something. I don't know what the hell she's doing. She's reaching in like coming down by my left leg. I'm like, "All right, nope. Now you're going to go for resistance." So, whatever. Instead of breakchecking random people, this couple's entitlement broke them right into jail. Charged with simple assault for the man and threats of violence and resisting arrest for the woman. Out of all the road rage cars we've seen so far, none of them compare to Karen, who is determined to live up to her name's legacy. >> So, you can be on your way. >> All right. Well, I'm not heading out anywhere. No, no, no, no, no, no. We're not doing this. >> In early August 2023, officers in Claremont County responded to a Lowe's department store referencing reports of a collision caused by an impaired woman in the parking lot. But just as an officer arrived, he spotted the woman trying to escape. So, he quickly took action. >> Yep. >> She's trying to escape now and come here. >> Where is she at? So, where where are you coming from? >> Oh, nowhere. Just I was bike riding. >> You were bike riding? Okay. >> Yeah. >> Where were you bike riding at? >> I was bike riding on the Lovelin Madera Trail. >> Okay. And then how'd you get here? >> I drove. >> You drove here? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> I'm good. >> Okay. Um I don't believe that you're good. Do you real Do you realize that you've been involved in an accident? >> No. >> No. You don't You don't realize you've been involved in an accident? >> No. Karen definitely lives up to her name. That's for sure. >> What's your name? >> I'll need to tell you my name. >> Well, you were currently being detained. >> What? >> For a motor vehicle accident. >> For what? >> You struck another vehicle with your vehicle. >> Uh, no, I didn't. >> Yes, you did. >> No, I didn't. >> Why do you say you didn't? >> I did not. >> Well, you just told me that you did. >> No, >> because you told me that you drove and then you've got witnesses that are stating that you hit another vehicle. >> I did not. I deny it. I did not. >> So, what is your name? I just want to be able to be polite and interact with you. I'm Officer Ryan. What's your name? >> Uh, Penelope. >> Penelope. What's your last name? >> I'm not going there. >> Okay. >> Karen is either failing at acting clever or she's too drunk to know that giving a fake name to an officer is a one-way ticket to jail. Suspecting impairment, Karen is asked to perform sobriety tests. But as Karen's do best, she refuses to make that easy. >> Are you Are you willing to do some uh field tests for me to make sure that you're not intoxicated today? >> No, I'm not. I'm not. >> You're not intoxicated? >> No, I was riding bicycles. You see my pants? >> I understand that. And it seems like you're also struggling to get out of here. >> I >> You don't have your phone, you don't have your wallet, you don't have your your ID, your keys, anything. >> I do have my ID. >> Okay. All right. So, do you mind explaining to me what's going on? Why why you're not you're not >> I'm just waiting for my husband because obviously I've locked my keys in my car. >> Okay. >> So, you can be on your way. >> All right. Well, I'm not heading out anywhere. >> Okay. >> Are you Are you going to state that you're not doing field tests for me? >> No, I am not. >> Karen really thought treating the law like an option would make her untouchable. Unfortunately for her, reality had other plans. >> At this point, if you're going to refuse field tests, we're going to escalate this. I'm going to arrest you for OVI. >> What's that? >> Operating a vehicle impaired. >> No. >> Okay. So, from the evidence I've gotten from witnesses, I'm getting an odor of alcoholic beverage coming from you. And you're severely disoriented. You've locked your keys in the car. You're struggling to communicate with me effectively and you're struggling to communicate over the phone with whoever you're on the phone with. >> I don't have my phone. I left it with my >> Okay. Are you Are you willing to do the field test? Show me that you're not impaired. Okay. >> I'm not willing to do anything. So, >> not willing to do anything. Okay. Can you turn around and put your hands behind your back? >> No. >> Nope. All right. >> No. >> You want to turn around and put your hands behind your back? >> You're going to turn around and put your hands behind. >> All right. I'll do the thing. I'll do the thing. >> Too late. We've already passed it. >> Turn around and put your hands behind your back. >> No, I'll do the thing. >> No, we are not doing this. No. I uh No. No. No. No. No. No. We're not doing this. I will report you. Ow, that hurts. Ow. >> Put your hands behind your back now. >> Sir, got one on. >> Come on. Don't be so mean. >> Sit in the car. I'm going to put you in there. >> YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE SO MEAN. >> SIT IN THE CAR. >> I WILL. Why are you being so aggressive? >> Sit in the car. >> Jesus God. Sit in the car. This is your car. I'm going to pull you in. Oh my god. >> With Karen finally settled in the patrol car, the officers had time to get caught up on the real lore behind this drama. And it was even worse than they expected. >> I was pulling out a Chick-fil-A. She came out of nowhere like and just at that that Lowe's display that's up there right across from Chick-fil-A all bags of mulch or there's three big stacks of something and then there's a sign that says like Lowe's big event. >> Okay. So she hit that >> she hit that and it was like no reason like nobody was in her way and she hit that and bounced off and then just came flying down here. So I followed her down here. I wanted to at least picture her license plate. >> Okay. >> And she was like reckless. And then I pulled up and then right after they came to my window, they said, "Did you see what happened to my car?" And I'm like, "No, it didn't happen in the last few minutes." >> Okay. Well, it's definitely her car. >> Yeah. There was like paint and stuff. So, [music] [screaming] >> do you think I am a risk? Jesus god, you guys are unreal. I'm a grandma. I've never been arrested. I've never had anything. Why are you doing this? Claremont my county jail. Oh, perfect. Oh, perfect. Out in the boonies with the boonie boonie people. >> Mark your calendars, everyone. National Karen Day is on June 8th. Tell your [music] favorite Karen how much you love them. But the only dates this Karen will be counting down are her days left in jail on charges of resisting arrest and owi. >> They can't block that damn lady. >> That's a hit and run. >> Get the he know THAT [laughter] >> WE OH MY GOD. HOW DID THAT HAPPEN? >> NOW, let's flip our calendars to September 30th, 2023. Dispatch received urgent reports about a hitand-run car crash involving a woman who sped off with a man clinging to the hood of her car. This is how the situation unfolded. >> I was going into the gas station. All right. So, after the accident, what did he do after that? >> I'm sorry. >> After the accident, what did he do after? >> What accident? I took the left turn and he jumped in my hood of my car. >> What? Did his car hit your car? His car hit my car. >> So there was an accident. No matter who was at fault, there was an accident. >> Well, I wanted to get out of the traffic and he jumped on the hood of my car. >> Why did you drive from there over to here on the hood of the car? Why? >> I was going into the gas station on on uh what what street is that? >> Well, Belter. I was going into the gas station to get gas because >> But why did you make it from here all the way to there with him on the hood of the car? Why don't you just pull him off? >> I He wouldn't get off the car. He says, "Well, now you're going to get sued because you're going to you're going to hurt me. I'm going to hurt him. >> Something about Cheryl's story didn't sit right with the officer because people don't normally think that clinging to car hoods is a joyful activity. Determined to find the truth. What the officer heard next would prove who was really telling it. So I see him and his wife trying to talk to her. It's like, "Hey, just wait here. We're going to call now." And the lady's trying to pull out already. And he's like, "Stop." So she kind of throws in reverse for a second to get around the vehicle and then she starts gunning it. He in front of her it's like don't go anywhere. I turn on my lights at this point right behind her and then he jumps on the hood because she guns it and just blows through the >> Did he jump on it because he >> Yeah, he No, he jumped on it because she was trying to move and he was in the way. >> So how far did you follow the vehicle from the crash scene all the way? >> Yeah, from the crash scene all the way. >> How fast was she going? >> Uh I would say at least 50. >> Wow. when he was hanging on the front. >> Yeah. Yeah. I had to I had to gun it um to to try to catch up. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> In the meantime, officers continued surveying the scene for witnesses and conducted multiple interviews. But one interview stood out from the victim himself. And what he reveals would leave the officers stunned. >> She was in the lane beside me over here and it's a straight lane and she turned hit the front end of my truck and then she started hauling hauling butt and so I pulled in front of her and stopped her and she wouldn't stop. She kept trying to get away and I got in front of her. She tried to run me over. So I got when she took off, I got on the hood of the guard. >> And you definitely saw her see you on the hood. >> Oh yeah. I came up and talked to her in the window. >> I know. But like before >> Oh yeah. She she I said stop. I'm going to fall off. And she said that's your problem. >> Okay. >> There is no chance Cheryl [music] can talk her way out of this. Especially with the detailed witness testimonies. It wasn't looking good for her. But even still, officers gave her one final chance to come clean. But this gesture of courtesy somehow triggered Cheryl to evolve her Pokémon to maximum entitlement. >> I had my blinker on. I was getting off. There was the gas station. >> Yes, sir. >> Yeah. But as soon as you see somebody's standing in front of your car, you don't want to >> He got out of my out of his car and jumped on the hood. And he says, "Now what are you going to do?" What kind of Who does that? What kind of a person? >> Exactly. So that's why you call us and we'll we'll come over here and figure it out. >> I don't even have my phone with me. I went to >> Okay. I don't even get tickets. I don't even get warnings. Go look. I don't even get warnings. He didn't even Well, doesn't matter. I'm like, he didn't even have a seat belt. He was over there. He didn't even have a seat belt. And I'm I'm the seaw world. >> But like we were trying to explain before, it's better just to hold up traffic, wait for us to get there so we can sort everything out. >> I was I was 10 ft from the sidewalk to get off. >> I understand that. Well, if somebody's standing in front of your car, you don't want to >> you don't want to run them over or >> Well, what would you do? >> I would stop. >> I wouldn't run him over, but I said, "Would you please let me turn into the gas station?" >> When he grabbed him on the front of the car, I wouldn't drive, well, five, six miles at 50 mph. >> I didn't realize how far how far he wouldn't get He's He's on my bumper. He's here. He says, "Now, what are you going to do?" He You You don't know. You You don't know. >> According to Cheryl, she's the total victim in every situation. But luckily, the law cares only about the facts and not your feelings. So, when the victim confirmed he wanted to press charges, breaking the news to Cheryl was all that was left. And she was definitely not going to take it well. >> So, right now, you're being placed under arrest for leaving the scene of an accident. >> An aggravated battery. >> Aggravated battery on >> for driving with that man on the hood of your car. >> He jumped on the hood of the car. >> Face the car. Please tell me we're going to my house. >> No, the other deputy is going to your house. >> I'm going to jail. >> Yes. >> For what? Well, >> for leaving the scene in an accident. >> I didn't leave. I was trying to turn onto the to the gas station which was right there. I'll show it to you. I'll show you where everything was. >> By going faster doesn't get him off the hood of your car. You're lucky he didn't fall off the car. And >> no, he's lucky he didn't fall off the car. You don't do that. You don't jump on a person's car. You just don't do things like that. Instead of taking strangers for joy rides on the hood of her car, Cheryl took a joy ride to jail for charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, a felony, multiple property related offenses, and 2 years of community control. But Rachel's road rage rampage makes Cheryl's look like nothing. In early January 2023, an officer with the Lake County Sheriff's Office was returning back from duty when he spotted a woman driving on the wrong side of the road. Before he could even initiate a pursuit, the woman drove into a curb. Here's what happened when the officer approached her. >> Do you know why I pulled you over? >> Um, was it I was speeding? I don't know. So you came down this road and you was all on this side of the road driving just about crashed into the over the curb over there >> until I got behind you. >> Sorry, what curb? >> You know, you came over the curb into someone's yard. >> My goodness. >> You have to now pull me over and what else am I supposed to do but pull over into the most >> No, all you had to do was pull over to the side. My mother. My mother told me to pull over in the most credible place. >> It took the officer about two sentences with Rachel to realize that something was seriously wrong. And that suspicion was further heightened after she said this. >> 201 are in medical condition and house. >> What? Yeah, that was about three uh probably six six years ago. >> Six years ago. What was 6 years ago? >> What was it? >> What was 6 years ago? >> Where are you coming from? >> Where am I coming from? >> Yeah, it's late. I'm just trying to figure out what's going on. >> Where am I coming from? >> Yeah, I know you said you're just trying to get home, right? >> God, I wish. >> You okay? >> Hilarious, you know? It's just it's just so funny to see somebody under 20 asking me where I'm coming from. >> I'm not under 20. Got a juice box. >> I got I got capri songs and like dinosaur juice boxes and all the sorts. What the do you want? What do you want? >> I want to know why. >> Not at me more. >> I want to know how you ended up on the the the grass here. because I pulled over and there is no way to pull over on a one-way street other than turning into a Uturn to pull over so that other civilians can still pull forward and make their way through their route without me being in their way. Is there any other questions? >> I don't have anyone. >> No. Rachel isn't just drunk. She is wasted. Seeing signs of intoxication, officers need to make sure she's fit to drive. So, they ask her to perform sobriety tests, not knowing the Karen final boss they had just unleashed. >> I'm not moving unless somebody tells me to move. >> You can move. Come on. >> How and >> just walk up to me. >> How and where? >> In the regular walking. >> I'm not risking it. This my best friend's house and then my children are at the other house. It's like a mile. >> Okay, just walk this way with me. >> I'm okay with it. You guys are [ __ ] up. It's a [ __ ] up. Tell me what I'm doing, sir. >> Walk towards me. >> There we go. All right, that's fine. You can stop. You can stop. >> Do you mean yes? No, dude. >> DO YOU [screaming] >> ARE you going to complete the exercises >> on for about obviously I just Okay, you did not do them. It has not started. It has not started yet. >> Literally, just maybe you walk in a line. What do you mean? You literally >> So, look, I'm going to I'm going to read these. I'm going to read these instructions. >> You're lying. >> This is not a part of anything, >> guys. Whatever. Whatever, guys. Get the [ __ ] out of my face. You don't lie about me doing your sobriety test because I did your soriety attitude right now and I can you know if you you if you don't listen to her sideways you can listen to her. >> As this interaction continued Rachel's rants only became even more absurd. >> You're not following instructions. First off, >> my instructions involve >> where to put your feet together and my face and that mother can put that light. >> Put your feet together and hands by your side. >> They've been here this whole time. >> Okay. Follow with your eyes and your eyes only. Do not move your head. >> The light from the background can go off. Otherwise, I'll sue you, you and you for the same thing. >> Turn it off. >> So, we're going to just go to the next exercise. No, we're going to go ahead and go with the same. >> No, cuz I I I explained multiple times. You're not going to listen. You >> are going to turn that. >> Listen to me. Listen to me. I'm I'm the one conducting the exercises. I'm giving the instructions. >> Cool. Please put your hands behind your back for me. >> At this point, YOU'RE NOT. I'M TRYING. YOU ARE. NO, you're not. >> NO, I'M NOT. I'M trying to call my husband. >> Nope. You're under arrest. Trying to walk. You guys can use any resisting resisting. >> I want my phone. >> Oh my god. Guys, in the car. Guys, I will do it if you speak to me. >> Please don't do this. You're going to I'm going to get in and you guys are Are you guys getting right? Back at the station, a breath sample was collected. It revealed her blood alcohol content was.221, which is over two times the legal limit. Rachel was found guilty of driving under the influence, resisting, and possession of schedule 2 narcotics. Her bond was set at $5,500, and she was released the next day.
