What starts as a simple trespassing arrest quickly turns into a physical confrontation with officers forced to use a taser to gain control. Turn over ON THE GROUND. GET BACK. Put your hands behind. Get back. You're going to GET TASED AGAIN. PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND. GET BACK. TURN AROUND. >> ROLL OVER. ROLL OVER ON YOUR STOMACH. PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. HANDCUFF THEM. When officers move in to arrest him for trespassing, he refuses to cooperate and repeatedly pulls away as they try to get his hands behind his back. Even after being warned that he would be tased, Coburn continues resisting. At that point, officers make the decision to use the taser to bring the struggle under control. >> Help! Help! They're playing me with some. They're poisoning me. >> Not coming out. >> Pull real hard. >> Yeah, you're in trouble now, [ __ ] >> Help. Andrew, the saddle's fly. >> Hell, you're in trouble now. >> They don't even know how to take a taser out. >> Got it. >> They don't even know proper procedure. >> Where's the other one >> at all? I'm on foot. >> Huh? >> Yo's in trouble by the way. >> As a matter of fact, >> my dog. >> Once Coburn is on the ground, officers immediately work to secure him in handcuffs and remove the taser probes. But getting him restrained doesn't end the confrontation. Coburn continues arguing with officers, questioning their authority and demanding their badge numbers while they work to make sure he is safely secured. What began as a trespassing arrest has now become a much more complicated encounter. They taste the everliving out of me and they're not even real cops. Hey, looked over. >> There's a cop. >> Have a seat. >> I'll le >> Okay. >> What is this jurisdiction? >> What's your badge numbers? >> Don't you dare bite me. Come on. Have a seat. Get your legs. >> I know. I know. I want to TALK TO A LAWYER NOW. >> GET IN THE CAR in >> lawyer now. >> You lady with trespasser and battery with the handcuff. You can hit my hand out the way. >> Resist them with resisting with violence. >> Yeah. As officers try to get Coburn into the patrol car, he becomes increasingly agitated, repeatedly claiming he should not be under arrest and accusing the officers of being fake cops. He also tells them they tried to kill him and complains about being tased. With Coburn still making accusations and refusing to cooperate, EMS arrives to evaluate him and make sure he is medically cleared before officers continue with the arrest. >> He didn't show me no credentials and he takes the out of me. >> Look at my chest. Yeah, I should see that bottom one. I know for sure >> after hitting me with the car almost. >> She pulled some out. So that top >> No, I didn't. >> Hold on, Floyd. Hold on. I'm sorry. >> Is that a knife or is that a belt? >> I have no nothing. I actually have only nothing. She said she >> They tried to kill me. All right. So, what are we doing? Just check him off for that. >> Yeah. >> Other than that, >> that's it. >> He's in custody. >> How am I in custody? >> You're in custody. >> Yeah, not supposed to be. He was already authorized to take out of cubs. You're not authorized to even do this. John McCroy, sir. >> Married the Francis McCroy. All right. >> Yeah. made me name Francis Lee Collins my mom that I met when I was 11. That's how my life goes home with people like him carrying into my family so they can try to kill me my whole life. And that's why I didn't know about you outside. I tried. So this y'all got this on recording this repot. >> Yeah. >> So this is his normal state, >> correct? Y'all identified that? >> Huh? >> No, I'm serious. >> Yeah. >> Okay. You're not even a cop. >> Which >> plastic badge? >> Plastic feet. >> Literally fill it. >> Plastic badge. Huh? >> Bag work. >> Floyd Thomas Coburn, 33, was arrested and charged with trespass after warning, retail theft, resisting an officer with violence. Coburn had previously been trespassed from the 7-Eleven and was later transported to Lake County Jail where his bond was set at $11,500. So, what do you think?
