If you're doing inside your house, we're all good with it. But, doing it in a park with kids out and about at that time is unacceptable. >> And these kids were free and they're free to look. >> This is Lawrence Geisler, a 77-year-old man who was reported to police following a disturbing incident at a local park. On September 26, 2025, just after 3:00 p.m., Barrington police responded to B's Park in Illinois after a man riding his bike reported witnessing concerning behavior. He told dispatch he saw Lawrence outside his truck exposing himself in broad daylight while watching activity in the park. >> 911 what service for the emergency? >> Hi, I'm at uh BC Park right now and at BC Park they have like a bunch of the kids from the middle school playing outside and I'm biking and I see this guy with his door open standing outside of his car and I was biking up through like the gravel trail by the playground and I see him with the door open and he's like moving his arm really fast. I'm like, "What the fuck?" I whip out my phone as soon as I whip it out he goes, "Oh!" Like he just finishes. And I'm like, "Hey man, what are you doing?" And he [ __ ] like drives away. But, I got his plate, so. >> All right. >> And I'm so serious, I have a video of it. And I have his license plate number two, he drove away. I was actually smart about this cuz I couldn't actually get that plate on video, I just wrote it out. >> Okay. >> If you guys want us to If you want to send a cop over I can talk to him all that and show him the video. >> All right, I'll ask the officer to come talk to you there. Thank you. >> All right, yeah, of course. >> Not only did the witness catch the entire act on camera, but he was also able to provide police with Lawrence's license plate number before he fled giving officers exactly what they needed to locate him. Not long after, he was found driving a few streets from his home and after a brief and unsuccessful attempt to evade police was stopped and confronted about what had happened. >> What are you cooking here? >> What's up, sir? >> You're 77? >> I don't know, you ask me. >> Well, you're here actually, We want to talk to you. Lower your window, please. >> Yes. Were you at Bee's Park today? >> I drove through there, yes, sir. >> Okay. What were you doing at Bee's Park today, sir? >> I usually just drive through. >> Okay. >> I mean, it's >> Something like that, you know what I'm saying? >> I go in and go for a walk. >> Well, we have footage of you being at Bee's Park. You want to >> No, I'm not going to argue. I was there this morning. >> This is the pickup truck from the incident earlier at Bee's Park. >> Oh. >> It's him. >> I'm not going to have to worry about it. >> You go to Bee's Park a lot? >> Yeah, I drive through there probably once or twice a week. >> Once or twice a week? >> Just to drive through. Sometimes I go in there and just go for a little walk and >> What's your name? >> My name's Larry or Lawrence. I prefer Lawrence. >> Lawrence, be honest with me. >> As the interaction plays out, Lawrence's story starts to shift, slowly getting closer to the truth. But what he doesn't realize, and is about to learn, is that his actions back at the park were caught on camera. And the officer has already spoken with the witness and reviewed that footage. >> We We have someone that recorded a video of you, okay? >> A video of me? >> Correct. Recorded a video of you, okay? >> Uh it's against the law to take a video. >> No, it's not. We have a video of you and subject is claiming >> No, I wasn't. Sorry, I wasn't. I was there pulling my shirt on. >> Okay. What Why were you by your passenger seat side door open with door staring at kids? >> Cuz I was adjusting my belt and pants. >> Why were you doing it on the passenger side of your vehicle? >> It just happened to be the side I happened to be on. I mean, sometimes I'm over the Well, I'm driving over here and I got out there to walk around, look at my truck, and you know, I was adjusting my pants, and sometimes my belt buckle, like right here, will pop out. I just adjust my pants and tuck my shirt back in. >> So, at at at no time did you >> No, sir. >> in the park? >> I did not. I don't know >> With the man clearly holding back and leaving out the disturbing details, officers push back, clarifying what was reported by the witness. >> Why would someone say that they saw you >> I don't know how they could if they were behind me. I was fixing my belt buckle, more than likely, because it pops out sometimes. >> All right. And we have cameras all over that park. We're going to be able to check every single angle of the park. And what's going to go a long way for you here is honesty. >> I was adjusting my pants and my shirt. >> for a second. >> I was pulling my >> I don't believe it for a second. And what I'm going to have this officer do is I'm going to have him either help you out and do a local ordinance where it doesn't get posted all over the world, what you were doing in the park, or we can arrest you here today and you're going to have to argue in court, which is going to ruin your reputation and be anyway. >> I would prefer not to get arrested. >> Yeah, I bet you I bet you would. >> Yes, sir. >> Like I said, it's going to go out to the public what you were doing. It's going to be on in it's going to be in the newspaper with your face and your name of what you were doing. >> No, I was I was adjusting my pants. >> Even after being told there was footage of the incident, Lawrence continues to deny everything. So, officers decide to bring up a valid point. If he wasn't doing anything wrong, then why get the hell out of Dodge? >> Can you tell me why when the individual shouted out, what are you doing? Immediately you jumped into your >> the hell out of me and I probably leave than confront or get in a fight with any >> But why would you get into a fight with anybody if you had nothing >> yelling at me. Can you tell me? >> I think he says the sir. >> He was He was shouting sir? >> I think so. >> And you got scared of him shouting sir? >> Yes, sir. >> If you are compliant with us and you tell us exactly what happened, we might be able >> in there and I was adjusting my pants. >> And where was How was your zipper on? >> Well, I guess I felt it or I went down there to adjust my pants and found my zipper was open so I I pulled my pants up, pulled my zipper up and that's probably what the gentleman saw. >> Were you there for a long time or you there for a short time? >> I was probably there for about 20 minutes, maybe >> And doing what? Just standing next to your passenger door? You were just going to be around your car for 20 minutes. >> Yes, I was pulling my zipper and adjusting my pants. And probably looked suspicious but it could have been. >> Do you see where we have an issue? There were kids at the park. Someone claims they saw you They have They have footage. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> What What are we going to do about it? What's >> My partner just told you, okay? We will write you a ticket or we will arrest you, either or. We want to We want to get your side of the story, the truth. >> ticket. >> Okay. >> So far Lawrence has been keeping things vague but he's about to get a little more honest about what happened and as the questions continue, the details he was leaving out start to come to the surface. >> I was I wasn't there. I do understand. >> So, I'm just I'm just telling you >> I'm sorry that I was >> As the situation continues to unfold and officers struggle to get much out of Lawrence, a sergeant arrives on scene to assist. This is where the pressure begins to ramp up and his story continues to crumble. >> I asked him if and later on he changed the story that he he might said was never out and he's just flip-flopping the stories now and he claims he was adjusting his pants. adjusting his >> I was adjusting cuz my belt buckle pops out. And I was adjusting my pants and I I don't know what else to say. >> Do you understand there was a witness to this? They called us. >> If there was a witness, there's nothing I can do say to to to say there wasn't a witness. >> Let's put it this way. If you tell us the true story right now, we'll just give you an A. If we find other evidence, going to be an arrest. And then, you're going to be a sole offender. And then, you won't be able to be by a school 500 ft. Your pictures are going to be posted everywhere. You're going to have to register every year. What do you mean by dream? >> Dreaming that I was young again. It was pure pure ecstasy to dream and I don't know how to explain it to you. >> It's It's the motion. It's the motion, sir. So, if there's anything I can say or do >> You You've You've been telling me your side of the story. Do I believe it? Fully true? No, but you see where it goes wrong. You were facing the kid, you know? The only reason you stopped doing what you're doing is because someone observed you doing that. Yes, sir. >> By this point, the officer's partner has heard enough. The inconsistencies in the story are glaring and he's no longer interested in playing his games. So, he interjects to cut straight to the point. >> So, I just think we're getting lost in definitions and semantics. >> Let's just call a spade a spade. yourself and dreaming. That is how I would describe what you were doing. >> And your hand was down your pants. >> No, my pants were open. >> Your pants were open, your hand was on your >> Yes. >> And you were dreaming thinking about >> Yes. >> That's the definition >> Okay. >> Okay. >> And what I think the best option for you to do as a godly man I assume that you are >> Yes. >> is just admit the truth to yourself cuz we're all flawed and we're all sinners. If you would do that in your own driveway at home, we don't have really that much of a problem with it. It's way less, you know, if you're doing it inside your house, we're all good with it. I had my hands on my penis. >> And it's best I think the best option is just to admit that and accept that we're flawed and accept for and try and get forgiveness from the Lord cuz he's going to forgive you for this. What what are we going to do? >> Mostly we just need to take your fingerprints. >> Oh, okay. Uh are you okay with uh I drive your truck and I drop it off at your house and then uh uh my partner's going to drive me back here? >> Yeah, you can drive it. >> Let's do that. Let's do that.
