Stay the [ __ ] out here then. I will take you out of jail if you're going to be like that, [ __ ] >> Really? >> Yeah, really. >> On July 6th, 2025, at approximately 10:20 p.m., deputies with the Fulton County Sheriff's Office responded after neighbors reported that a man furious over fireworks had threatened to them. What would have ended with nothing more than a warning quickly spiraled into multiple criminal charges. >> What what can I help you with tonight? >> All right. So, we know the noise ordinance and everything. We know what time we need to stop that. All right. >> These people over here Well, actually this this one kid >> I don't know his >> Was it Sam's brother? >> Yeah, he's an idiot. >> But, he come riding his bike around here. He went up this street. >> And he was talking about 30 minutes >> You know, and I I respect the law. I'm not going to go and purchase fireworks and not know when to stop. You know what I mean? I'm not stupid. >> I'll go over there. >> And he comes around the block right here, right here, and comes all the way up here to the van and then starts running his mouth. >> Runs his mouth on his bike and was like >> There's people that got to [ __ ] work in the morning and this and that. >> Yeah. >> We said we know there's a sound ordinance. We will stop once sound ordinance hits. >> Then he goes over there, rounds the corner, gets up he's running his mouth from the yard. Oh, I'll beat your ass and this and that. Come over here to my yard and this and that. My 5-year-old's here and is upstairs because he climbed up on the roof over there with a flashlight. And I know some fla- some guns got flashlights on them and he was threatening to shoot over here. I don't play that. >> And he he says that we're disrespectful and we've had to deal with them being loud, fighting, arguing, blowing up stuff in their fire pit. >> Breaking into stuff. >> Breaking into [ __ ] He's always standing over here, cussing and yelling. >> What would you guys like done tonight? >> to go to jail for threatening a in front of a 5-year-old little girl. >> he literally threatened to kill it. Like there's four of us standing here. We >> a child over here and he said he didn't give a [ __ ] about no kids. >> So, I understand. All right? Right. He shouldn't be saying that stuff, okay? And if he really did have a gun and he points it over here. Yes, that is >> Oh, he said he had something in his waistband. When I confronted him in the street >> Yeah. >> He had something right here. >> that, but he saw a flashlight, he didn't see a brandish firearm, okay? So, I'm going to go talk to him about it. Obviously, he's probably not going to tell me he has a firearm. >> All right, he might not even answer the door when you walk up to him cuz you guys have dealt with him before. You said that over your radio. >> I'll go over there and talk to him and see what he has to say. >> talking to himself and all kinds of weird stuff. >> Before speaking with the neighbor, the deputy checks with nearby bystanders. None of them witnessed the alleged threats, explaining they were outside because they were also bothered by the fireworks. Based on the information he has at that point, the deputy explains to the callers how they should move forward, making it seem as though the situation will end without any arrests, but that won't be the case for long. >> 27, it was just some bystanders. They were just upset by the fireworks. We're going to go over there and talk to him, but uh I would suggest that you guys get a stalking no contact order. And you get that at the Fulton County Courthouse, which means, you know, he can't be a certain amount of feet from you, he can't >> After tomorrow, they won't be living there because I'm calling the housing cuz they already told me if they had one more problem with them, they were out of there. >> All right. Sheriff's office. You Zach? >> I am Zach. >> All right. >> Uh listen. >> What is going on tonight, man? >> Well, I'm saying they're lighting these fireworks off and like it's a >> Do you keep your hands out of your pockets for me? >> Yeah. >> You don't got anything on you to stick me with? >> [ __ ] me, do you? No, I >> I'm just going to pat you down real fast. You got a pocket knife on you? Okay, what about a BB gun? One of these >> No, it's inside. And listen, saying like they they had fireworks starting like before I even said anything about a BB gun, so uh And I don't know, I was just trying to have some respect when they were lighting off fireworks right there. They had all weekend to light off fireworks. >> So, what's up with the BB gun? >> Um they're saying they were walking at me, calling me a this, that, and the other, like running their mouths about some [ __ ] they don't know nothing about. And uh literally I was I was sick of it and not dealing with it. So I came in here and got my BB gun cuz I wasn't getting like I don't know I was just a baby with me, so >> And you what did you do with the BB gun? >> I didn't do nothing with the BB gun. >> Cuz they said you they you threatened to shoot them with it. >> I did make a couple threats, but I'm saying they were pissing me off. >> Okay. So do you understand that pointing a firearm at somebody >> that might not know what that is a real firearm >> and threatening to shoot them is probably the dumbest [ __ ] thing you could ever do. >> I wouldn't like I I wouldn't have said >> Why would Why would you do that? >> I'm saying they're exaggerating 100% I wasn't doing that. >> Okay. Well, you just explained to me you threatened them. >> I didn't I Okay, I was I was on the roof of this apartment and they were over there in the yards they were like walking around running their mouths. >> All right. >> And I was like this all I did was ask them I literally asked them if they could not let like let them off right there. right there. >> Okay. >> That's all I asked and they started running their mouths. >> All right, man. >> All right. >> Well, just come down here and hang out. You're not going to jail or anything like that, all right, so. Just have a seat on the steps. I'm just going to talk to my sergeant here real quick, okay? Thank you. The deputy explains the situation to his sergeant and says that for now he intends to end the night with nothing more than a warning, but thanks to the man's attitude and some incredibly poor decision-making, those plans quickly take an unexpected turn. >> I'm going to tell him that if I come back out here I'm going to charge him with it and hopefully that squashes the [ __ ] for the night. >> Okay. >> I'm going to take him going to take him and drive him to his apartment, okay? >> Cool. All right, Zach. Here's the thing, man. I could take you to jail, but I'm not going to, all right? And I'm not going to charge you, okay? >> It's kind of a moot either way. I was saying not If you don't I don't know why you're being like that. >> Listen. >> All right, I'm listening. >> Before you start to piss me off, I'm trying to cut you a break, okay? All right, so stop talking. >> I'm saying >> Be done. Stop talking to them. >> They disrespect me. They're not going >> Okay. Stay the [ __ ] out of here then. I will [ __ ] take you into jail if you're going to be like that, [ __ ] >> Really? >> Yeah, really. >> Let go of my phone now. >> What are you trying to do? >> Let go of my phone now. I'm on a call. Let go of my phone. >> Okay, turn around and put your hands behind your back. >> Why? I'm on a call, man. >> Nope, you're going to jail. >> For what, bro? >> For aggravated Knock it the [ __ ] off. >> I'm saying I ain't doing nothing. You need to get your hands off of me, bro. >> Nope, you're going to jail now. Trying to cut you a [ __ ] break and you're going to be an [ __ ] >> do nothing. Like really I asked you to have some respect for the [ __ ] people over here. You going to arrest me right now? >> Yep. >> It's a joke. >> And you're going to be arrested for resisting and aggravated assault. So, congratulations. >> Sir, are you serious, bro? >> Yep. >> Okay. Let's go fight this right now. Sir, let go of my phone, please. You have no right to You have no right to detain me. I've done nothing wrong. >> You have been detained this entire time we've been talking to you. I asked you to sit down there. I'm just going to explain to you you not go over there and talk to them. Otherwise, you were going to be charged with something. >> know what I got to tell you, man. >> You were walking away from me. What are you talking about I didn't listen to what you had to say. >> You're hurting me, bro. >> I'm not hurting you. >> There's no need for that. Don't ever pull something out of your pocket again. >> I have my phone >> No, you you postured your chest Listen, you postured your chest at me and then you lifted something out of your pocket at me. >> to chill, bro. >> Okay, so don't ever do that again. >> 100%. >> You need to chill cuz now you're getting >> I am >> multiple charges tonight. >> I was all over cuz I was trying to ask someone to get to be respectful. It literally You guys don't make no sense. No sense at all. Never have you. >> The deputy continues to explain that he gave him every opportunity to walk away with nothing more than a warning, but the man still insists he had done nothing wrong. And once placed in the back of the squad car, the officer explains to his sergeant why the plans have taken such a sudden change. Oh, cool. I tried to cut you a break and you want to sit there and argue with me and then try to walk away as you're being detained and then after that puff your chest out at me and posture yourself or and then in a quick like manner pull an object out of your pocket and go like this. So, what am I supposed to expect? >> I have my phone out. >> Because you just threatened them with a gun earlier. So, what am I supposed to expect? >> I I'm saying okay. >> Right? >> Right. >> Okay? >> Right. >> I'm trying to I tried to work with you tonight, dude. >> I don't I don't see where I'm in the wrong. >> Okay. Have a seat. >> All good? >> Yeah, it's good. Talk to you about it later. >> Okay. >> So, I tried to tell him >> [snorts] >> He then says, "I don't know why you're being like that." I was telling him I said, "Listen, I'd take you to jail, but I'm not going to." He said, "I don't know why you're being like that." I said, "Stop." I said, "Before you upset me." I said, "Before you piss me off." I was like, "I am trying to help you out." And then he tries to say something and talk over me. I was trying to get him to stop talking. Gets up, turns around, tries to walk inside. I grab him. Or I go to grab him. I said, "Stop." He turns around, puffs his chest out at me, you know, starts posturing up. And I'm walking up by him and he quickly goes like this with his phone in his in his hand. At first I didn't know it was his phone, but he goes like this really quick and I grab it and he's like, "That's my phone, dude. What are you doing?" I was like, "Okay." I said, "Stop." And he's like, "Stop grabbing my phone." I was like, "Turn around, put your hands behind your back." And he uh started stiffening up and resisting. So, I was like, "All right, dude." I was like, "You're going to go to [ __ ] jail then." >> That was good to me. >> So, >> Okay. >> And I told him I was like, "I literally tried to help you." >> He wasn't doing anything. He was just talking, right? >> Yeah. >> Okay. All right, sounds good. >> What started as a complaint over neighbors lighting fireworks ultimately ended with a criminal conviction. Zachary was originally charged with aggravated assault and resisting and obstructing a peace officer. According to court records, he later pleaded guilty to the aggravated assault charge, receiving 2 years of probation and more than $1,000 in fines. The resisting charge was dismissed.
