On September 24th, 2024, police were called after a man reported his girlfriend when an argument got out of hand. This is what happened next. Yeah. Man, uh getting ready getting ready to take her to work. She's kind of not, you know, moving around. Yeah. Like kicking me and everything, man. All right. Uh comes my head, starts asking for it, and then he starts calling his dad. She starts kicking, punching, getting set off even more was me on the phone. My dad like, "Hey, you know, like what started it all today?" Her wanting smoke before going into work and then her throwing a tantrum, not being able to tell me and I can't do anymore, man. I got you. I got you, David. Let's go over. No, I get it. Four years I've been dealing with so much. Yes, man. It's not like the fighting, but like you need to invert, man. I be taking so much and it's like bro now like I just think I'm done man. I'm about to be next month you know I do automotive trying to get my life together. How long you guys live together? About 3 years. Three years. Maybe almost three now. Yeah. Any kids together? Sorry. Any kids together? No. No. Okay. We guys have lived together here. How long here? Yes. We just moved in here. Okay. But you live together for 3 years. Yes. Yes. Okay. Can you I know you probably told him already. you can break it down for me. What happened today? Basically, we're we're, you know, arguing because she she couldn't tell me, "Hey, let's smoke before me going into my shift." And I don't understand what's so hard with you telling someone something like that. I understand, you know, legal now, but it's still, you know, I shouldn't have to come to a point where you're literally coming to the back door after storming out the building because you can't use your words and tell me something. Pounding on the back door, letting telling me to let her in. you know, I'm trying to find my keys so I can just get out of there. I didn't like the environment. I had her I had my keys in her purse. Couldn't find that, you know, and I'm just So, how did she start? She start hitting you. What did she start doing? So, I started I was about to walk out and I started calling my dad. I'm just like, "Dad, what should I do? What I do?" I'm just like, you know, he's here in the fight. He's talking about, "Oh, you should call 911. This that." So, I was about to hang up. But then she starts coming in and she's like, "You know what? I just need my money. this that all the money that blah blah starts walking to our tip jar and I'm just like okay so go do it take it turn around and then she just lunges on the back of me what' you start doing putting me in a choke hold start clawing me trying to put you in a choke hold yeah but I broke out of that but then she started you know it make it hard to breathe or anything okay all right but she started clawing yeah just yeah just caught me out of surprise she kicked in the legs or Yeah that was probably when she was on me you know clawing me you know her heel went in front of me and slammed down but Okay. You know, I I shouldn't have to get someone's punching bag because of your addictions and you not knowing what you want. Sure. It's not my problem. I got that. You defend yourself in any way or do anything? I push her off me 100%. Yeah. Okay. All right. What's her name? She tried kicking me, too. So, I'm holding her legs up in the air while she's like, you know, kicking from down below. I'm not getting kicked in my stomach. Yeah. I've had surgery. I've had a hernia. I can't get a 40. Spell it first time for me. Yeah. Okay. All right. You will want to file a statement for charges. Okay. That complaint. You will to sign the complaint. Meaning you just sign the for charges. So, what's going to happen? All right. I going to take her. Yeah. She's going to go to jail. Yeah. Just because of what you've told me now, she's going to go to jail. Even if you don't sign it, she's going to go to jail. So, so would it be better for me not to sign it if like 241 record? Here's the thing. I don't want I mean she's going to jail. I know she's had I just don't want to have like I don't want to be like the [ __ ] in our family. She's had a lot of family trauma, right? So, I just don't want to like Let's if I sign You say you've been dealing with this for a while. I have. I have. But I don't want to sign it. So, like if y'all take her, right? Would that be easier for her parents to get her out eventually rather than me signing those papers? But here's the thing. Yeah. I mean, we all I mean, cuz obviously I'm not coming back to get her out, you know, but essentially like you being the victim, you have to show up before. Yeah. And things like that. So like if you are just, you know, getting her arrested today, you don't proceed with anything else and she's going to be back out. She's going to know who called the cops. So it's like we're kind of beyond that point at this. Yeah. She's going to know it was you. Her family's going to know it was you. Yeah. And then all this all that is is more eat faster time that she's back here doing things cuz technically we can't you know we can't kick her out. She lives here with you. Yeah. So I mean that's I mean going forward there's some steps that you're going to have to you know face and accept and do things. So but that's why we give the option. I mean, it comes to the way cuz what you told us in the signs of that there was, you know, well, I just didn't want like my dad was asking more or less like before going to this step if pressing charges, could y'all do something? Is there a place we can take her, you know, like a rehab facility or something state of Ohio? No. How do law work says you guys are in a relationship, you're living together, co-inhabiting, she has committed against you, which ties our hands and we have to make an arrest. any threat or actual we have to make an arrest on cuz stuff has happened in the past where people lost their lives and stuff like that. So So all right you do you not want to sign a complaint? I mean we're still going to need a statement from you. Yeah, I'll give you a statement. What Michigan Is she going to let us in or how's that how's that work at that door? I can I have the keys on me so is that out of door unlocked or can you get us into the vest? I can get Yeah, I can open up the front. Yeah, I don't want to buzz it cuz that would let her know. Yeah, you're good. You know any weapons besides like this household items that she would grab or anything? I mean, I just recently got a firearm. You know about that? Yeah, I was by my nightstand, but I She knows gun safety. She's not a stupid person when it comes to that sort of. So I know she wouldn't. And that's in your bedroom? Yeah. Our bedroom. So if we walk into that apartment, where's your bedroom at? So you walk down this hall, right? The last door on the right is going to be my unit. Mhm. So when you first walk in, it's going to be like an open concept. You can look straight through and you'll see our master bedroom. You'll see the closet, too. Right towards that left corner side is going to be our bed. Her nightstand's on the left side, far side. My nightstand's going to be tucked right where that closet wall is. And that's where the firearm is. Yeah. And in or on it. On it. On it. Okay. All right. So, statement of you just kind of fill us out address whatever. We'll do this one. This one. Then your own words. Kind of tell us what like write down what you just kind of told us. Make sure it's not page number. Nothing. You able to get us in right here? I don't know that door is going to unlock. Can we just like give you guys my keys and open that door? I don't know if it'll be locked. I'll give opportunity. Yeah, we'll let her check them out. Last one. All right. [Music] German 210. Is there a pendant? I'll just come the door 850. Dispatch, please clear 21. Yeah. I'm wondering 21 swing around. Yeah. I was going to let you know if I made contact. Sheriff's office. Come in the door. Washington 31. We're okay. Hi. 231. 241. Check up the door. We're not going away. [Music] Come on out here. Talk to me. What's going on? What's going on with your boyfriend today? I don't know. 221 to 330. You want to make contact? I'm just trying to go to work. All right. You guys are arguing this. What? What happened? I don't know. You don't want to tell me? No, not really. I'm just trying to go to work. Okay. Just continue my day. Okay. Well, I don't know what was said, but all it was was just a little argument. Now, I'm just getting ready to go to work. Okay. Well, go ahead and turn around for me. Hand behind your back. I can't do anything. Okay. Well, he's got injuries. All right. He told us what happened. So you're going to go to jail day. What? Yep. What the ask you what happened? You got anything in your pockets? Yes. What do you got in your pockets? Your bait pen? Yeah. Okay, we're going to leave that here. All right. You got sandals or something I can grab for you? Where? Closet. In your bedroom closet. What is it like? They're they're white. They're Nike ones. You want Nike shoes or sandals? No sandals. They're in his closet. No on your No. Are they in this closet? Yeah. Which ones? Are they Nike ones in there? There's no Nike sand in the closet yet. No, I don't know where any are. You want to slide some shoes on then? Yeah. Grab these white knockies. Are these yours in here? Yes. Watch. [Applause] [Applause] One3 on your own. No, I don't. I have them on a flash drive from Harrison. Yeah, on the other side you're not the oneyear-old. She had nothing on her. I left her face. Okay. I don't have a camera now. Do you have a camera? Yeah. Oh, yeah. He does. Yeah. Yeah. You can get a picture of me real quick. You're [Music] injured. Still injured. Yeah. We're going to take multiple ones. The first one just look straight ahead. Yep. Any others? Yeah. Flip them over. Your legs. Just where she could red. Okay. No. Anything on the other? Anything on your back? No. Nothing that you know of? No. Just seeing back here. Yeah. I don't know if that's from the haircut or little red. Yeah. call that up. Yeah. Real quick, if he's not going to sign it, I mean, I'll just sign it. Yeah, if you got the statement in there. Um, we don't see it. Let me see if there's in there. Okay. Yeah, if there is, yeah, just call EV and they can see the pictures of them if need be. There you go. Look here. Do you have any injuries or anything? Not that I think so. No. Okay. Not that I know of. Look at me here. Face that way and just let me see your hands. I know it might be a little difficult. Can you turn them over? Like this way? Yep. Just like that. Okay. That's old. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. All right. So, like I said, you're gonna go to jail for Okay. Whenever there's So, you guys are co-inhabiting together. You You're not married or have kids together, but you are co-inhabiting his boyfriend and girlfriend in Ohio. Whenever there's a claim of he does him, we have to make an arrest. Okay. He's not signing charges or anything. Never been to jail before, so I don't know. You never been in jail? Never been arrested. Okay. It's just a misdemeanor. Okay? So, if he's not going to cooperate, I'm just going to tell you this. Eventually, everything is probably going to get dropped. Okay? But you're going to go down to me tonight or today and you'll see a judge. They'll post a bond or let you out on your own reconnaissance. They'll give you a phone call and everything. Okay? I understand. But we're going to get through this process real quick. Okay? So, the more cooperation the better. I understand you're upset and rightfully so. I get it. See it all times. Been through this, seen this. So, as long as you cooperate with me, you cooperate with the jail staff, they'll get you through the process. I'll get you through the process as quickly as possible and as painless as possible. Okay. I appreciate that. Do you have any questions for me? Okay. All right. I'm going to fill out a little bit of paperwork and then we'll get going. Okay. Okay. Thank you for watching. Make sure to like and subscribe for more. Until next time on Body Cam, Crime
