on October 11 2022 an officer was on
patrol when he observed a male subject
riding a bicycle without a front light
in La Crosse Wisconsin
the officer pulled aside and exited his
vehicle in an attempt to stop the mail
he continued approaching the officer at
the same speed and ignored any commands
the mail was later identified as 26 year
old Keaton Stein

the officer activated his emergency
lights and notice Keaton turned to look
at him but still refused to stop

he then attempted to get ahead of Keaton
to pursue him on foot and cut him off
eventually another officer pulled up
alongside him ordering him to stop
Keaton claimed they had no right to stop
him and continued to flee on the bicycle
for several blocks
