are y'all working under this one permit log in on his uh go on the actual web page so we can see the all the dates okay really this is the one that need the Harvest and all this let me see if this letterhead says anything I was actually just being nice driving around making sure I didn't have anyone in here I was just going to lock the gate and leave because no one was supposed to be in here and I double checked it with two other people if that's the case and we've everyone's been doing it wrong for years we mostly come out Sunday evenings I know it was open for several years it they did have it open Sunday night but when I look at this it's yeah it says 11:59 p.m. on the last day of each Harvest period in all areas except except for the stas and A1 Feb these are different say it again it says it does end 1159 on the last day of each Harvest period except for the stas in A1 Feb the hunting hours and the St are limited to 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. except as otherwise provided in the Harvest permit which would be this my Harvest permit which says through 10:00 a.m. October 13 I know that's I know everyone's gonna say the same thing that's how we've been doing it for years um who who is the permit holder is it you are all right and it depends on what his permit says if his permit says he can be there until midnight it depends on what his Harvest period is it might be different so last night we been we could have been here last night you could have been here last night from 10 no I'm sorry 5:00 P PM until 10:00 a.m. this morning and that was it all right well it's it's the act of hunting not the actual take so the fact that you are all in here hunting that's the problem okay okay I'm GNA hold on to this for a second so here I'll give that back to you and just give me a minute okay all right I looked at it a little closer and yeah um I want to make sure one since you're the permit holder you're since you're the permit holder I want to make sure that you're in in the loop with the conversation um it does specify the the days that you are allowed to hunt until midnight it says it on clear as day August 16th through midnight on August 18 and then again you had a midnight hunt September 13 which would have been a Friday through midnight on September 15 which I just double checked is a Sunday the rest of these dates none of them say that you can go till midnight so today um it seems pretty clearcut on here that y'all aren't allowed to be hunting right now okay I am going to issue a citation for it all right um so it'll just be a court date and then I got to show mhm or if you hire representation it's up to you it's belglade can you make it closer I wish I wish but since we're in Palm Beach the western part of Palm Beach it does go to belade whatever so do you have your driver's license on you no I know it's a misunderstanding but it is super clear years on here that you had a few midnight hunts but today was not one of them so all right just give me a minute okay thank you I'm just GNA get the tag off of the truck y'all are in uh you know and it how do you know the permit holder or the per holder which per I was gonna say you two are definitely who taking the [Laughter] bullet I don't like this part of the job but you know I I know you guys [Laughter] understand all right I have your license your permit and then this is your copy of the citation with the court it's a Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. going be ding me for lunch pay for lunch okay so this this is my copy I need your yes I need your signature you're not admitting any guilt you're just promising to appear or have representation appear for you what is the CIT um well it's up to the judge they usually look at history if you don't have any history it is a second deegree misdemeanor that can go up to $500 but if you don't have any previous offenses they typically withhold adjudication and um just apply court cost so which is usually from what I've seen roughly in the 200 range um so but that's up to you if you want to fight it you're you have that option to contest the citation so so can now can we continue to hun since we got uh that's a whole mess of violation Gater on is it different than this no it it's just the act of hunting it's not the actual we had can we keep it after getting this yeah I'd let you keep it but no make your way straight I did I shut the gate but I didn't lock it so yes yes and it looks fine no one's messed with it um so yeah you just have to push the gate open I didn't lock it yet have you seen anybody else around so okay well that's good so maybe I don't have to keep driving around here for the rest of the night looking for people people are trying to sneak in to fish while the gates open and that's what I'm really targeting yep I'm going up to the pump house I'll take a look yeah they walk in there a lot so well I really appreciate you guys being understanding and have a safe drive home all right you too
