While the circumstances surrounding those charges are somewhat unclear, they may have stemmed from the fact that the chase ultimately crossed into a county in Georgia. He was eventually taken into custody on an outstanding warrant connected to two charges from earlier that year, a felony count of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $25,000. The defendant later entered a no contest plea. He was found guilty of the felony charge, while adjudication was withheld on the misdemeanor charge. In the end, he was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days in jail, receiving credit for 3 months and 20 days already served. Upon release, he was also ordered to complete 2 years and 6 months of probation. As always, if you enjoyed this video, please consider subscribing.
