Yes, because I'm about to pee my pants. You can walk me in there and stand next to the bathroom. I just really am about to pee my pants. >> Okay. Well, sounds like you already were misbehaving, so you really need to hold it. Okay. I literally All I said to him, "Are you kidding me?" Before you enter the jail, do you have anything you can cut, poke, stick, needles, drugs, anything like that in your possession? We'll walk this way, go between the cars. If you just listen, it wouldn't be like this. I I will listen. So boring. Come over here. Yep, you're right. I'm super bored tonight. This is what I want to do tonight. All right, let me We can locked down so we can get We have to get him locked down I'm not trying to ruin your freaking life, but I can't leave three 19-year-old girls with open alcohol in the car. >> tomorrow >> going to get done in the next couple hours. It's going to get you out. No, they're not. Cuz we're going to charge you with assault. Stay Stay in cooperation with these guys and I'll get you out of here, okay? Can you tighten these a little, please? Sure can. I'm the one screaming. I'm confused as to how like the boys like got like done. Cuz when I walked over you guys were all underage and there's alcohol in the car. I'm not charging you with DOC. I'm not charging you with anything yelling at each other. >> I do understand. >> we got was a guy and then when I get there this young lady in the red is talking to the guy we talked to and we got a call for a fight in that exact location. That's how we found you guys. It wasn't just magic. So that's when we meet make contact with you all. We We find there's We There's alcohol in the car, guys. Like our hands get tied. Then the person she called finally arrives. Her father, a criminal defense attorney. Officers explain what happened and why they were arrested. So you guys let the other people go though. We were dealing with them when we dealt with everybody. If No one was charged >> the car though. You let them go. We No one got charged for disorderly conduct. The The fighting and the bickering back and forth. But when we go to a car and there's 19-year-olds here with alcohol in the car, we have to deal with it. The other party was over the age of 21. One man was 24. 24. I don't know their names. I don't have them off the top of my head. I don't want to give you >> They're not released. Yeah, I know. Yeah, they're under 21. Okay. I I I said I I know that my officers got there with your daughter and there's oh alcohol in the car and they're drinking alcohol. I'm not sure what you want. >> everything now. You don't need to see it, sir. She's been drinking. She has an open container next to her. I don't know what you What can you I can clear it for you if you want, but I don't know what you want. What's in the open next to her though? What is she drinking? Okay. That's what I'm saying. Yeah, we can go to court. It's You can take it to court. I'm not This is I'm not a judge and I'm not an and I'm not an attorney. You know what I mean? But unfortunately with circumstantial Wait, here's the thing. I I have the recording, so those are all office. the officers. Do you have it? I'll listen to it. >> No, Eugene Oberst is our attorney. Okay. Can you get it? And I'm more than happy to listen to it for you. Your officer clearly stated to her, "Oh, you called your dad? He can't help you. Now, step out of the car. You're under arrest." That's a lawful For calling your dad. That's what he That's what he said to her. So, that's what he said to both me and your daughter. Okay. He said, "And then we'll follow the suit. We have to file the paperwork. Let them charge her with whatever they want to charge her with. And we'll work it out from there." Well, and you can request our recording, too, cuz I can guarantee that's not what had happened. So, I was standing here I was on the phone with her attorney. Underage drinking and possibly resisting arrest. We're going to review the video footage from the body worn cameras. But the question is, is it a lawful because he told her to step out of the car. It's a lawful order. But for what? Why are you arresting one person cuz they called their father? >> all went, sir. And all three girls went to jail. We didn't single your daughter out. No one got singled out. They're all underage, and they've all been drinking. I'm sorry you disagree with that, but that's just the fact. What's that? They They didn't get arrested. I don't know who you're talking about. I dealt with and I was out there with the three females. She was the girl in the car that night, sir. Okay. Well, the three when I made contact with them and the officers did, when I got there, there was only three females in the car, sir. Yeah, cuz I don't even know about that. All right. We We clearly have the officer saying, and he told me, "You can't help your daughter. You can't. She shouldn't have called you. She's going to jail for resisting arrest." He's like I said, "For what?" And she's like she says, "The silver ID." It'd be obstruction or failure to ID at that point, sir. Yeah. And she's being charged with prohibition. You can challenge it all you want, but that's the law. That's the law, so I'm not here to dispute >> the law. Okay. You can find it. You look it up. >> That's your baby suspected of committing a crime. Which is disorderly conduct, which we were dispatched there for. If you're telling us that we don't want to let kids drink and drive and be out driving and drinking, yeah, you're right. We don't like that. Then she shouldn't be out drinking anyway, sir. I I you feel I apologize you feel differently. Okay. If you have any questions I'm free to feel free to answer. Ma'am do you have anything? Yeah, what? All right guys, good luck with everything. Thanks for your time. Yep. All three were charged with underage alcohol possession. Caitlyn faced additional charges for resisting arrest and obstruction. What started as a simple police call ended in three arrests and a lesson no lawyer could undo.
