On August 5th, 2022, 35-year-old Meheet Schway went [clears throat] to the Mount Prospect Police Station to file a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, a police officer who had previously obtained an order of protection against her. Despite repeated warnings from the department not to come to the station, she showed up anyway. Miss Troy arrested for violation of protection in March of '21. Um she during that time started stalking one of the police officers. Subsequently, was arrested for harassment by telephone to one of the officers. She continually calls frequently. Uh she's claiming she wants to file a police police report. She's tried to do this in the past. We've repeatedly told her we're not taking her report. So she came in today unannounced. I told her I'm not taking any more reports for you. Um so she pushed me and then she started screaming quite loud. Um she has some she shoved me and she was screaming Karen probably heard her praying Holy Our Father. Take a seat, okay? >> Cho was charged with battery, and she in turn filed a federal civil lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend, a police officer, and the arresting officer, alleging that they violated her rights during her arrest in separate incidents.
