Come on, just breathe. Everything's fine. Okay. >> I'm really scared. >> There's nothing to be scared about. You want to sit down? >> When tension builds between [music] family, one moment can push things over the edge. >> Hello. Sure. >> What's going on? >> Oh, so disagreement between me. >> Sorry. >> Can you talk to her? >> Yeah. How's my apartment? >> Hi. >> Hi. >> Sorry. >> You're fine. So, I want to show you exactly how it went down. So, it was a disagreement between me and my aunt. I went like that trying to play around with her and stuff and she thought I went like that with a middle finger, but I love her to death. I would never do that to her. >> A couple months ago, I got >> Just breathe. Everything's fine. Okay. >> I'm really scared. >> There's nothing to be scared about. You want to sit down? You sit down. There's nothing to be scared about. Just breathe. You're talking really fast. I don't want you to pass out. >> I'm sorry. No, >> you're fine. [laughter] We're on We're here. We're here for the unforeseeable future. We're here to help you guys. So, just take your time. We're not in any rush. Okay. >> I'm really scared. >> So, the argument you guys were you were playing around with your aunt, waving your hands. She thought you flipped her off. >> I would never flip her off, too, cuz she knows how much I love her. >> Yeah. And then what I did outside and she thought I threw her TO THE GROUND, BUT I was trying TO PULL HER CLOSER and give her a hug, but she tripped over her foot and she's the one SAYING THAT I BEAT THE crap out of her. And I really do love her with all my heart, but she can't seem to believe ME THAT I DO. SHE THINKS I'M A YOUNG LADY TRYING TO HURT her [laughter] out here. This the first like you guys were outside when it first happened. >> Out back. >> Out back. Okay, I got you. 225. >> I was really frustrated with her, too. But that's the only thing that I did is right HERE, BUT I DID NOT THROW HER TO THE GROUND. And she's saying that I did. And what I did, I was trying to pull her closer. She's like, "You're always trying to do this. You're always trying to do that." And she went into me. >> She thinks that I threw her to the ground. And I was trying to pull her closer to me, but she went like that with her foot and she tripped. And I did bite her. It's because I got really frustrated with her and I just didn't think I understood. But you >> Hey, calm down for a second. What's your name? Take a deep breath for me. I I need you to breathe for a second. You're not in trouble. >> Okay. I'm really scared. >> No, don't be scared. I'm a nice guy. I promise. >> Nicest I know. Just we'll talk when you're ready. Okay. Just give us a second. Just breathe. Okay. I want you to breathe. >> I hope my going to be okay. [laughter] She'll She'll be fine. >> It's Chica telling me to shut up, too. Every time I talk, she's like, "Shut up. Shut up. Shut up." >> Hey, so it's Alexis, right? >> Okay. You feel a little bit calmer now? Okay. If we're going to talk, I need you to just stop crying for a second. I know emotions are high. Okay. Just Just deep breath in through your nose, out through your mouth. I'm not really sure we have yet. Just >> No. I never said anybody was in trouble. See, I'm here with a smiling face. If somebody was getting arrested, I'd be angry, but I'm not angry. >> I really am scared. >> So, what what happened? Explain it to me from the beginning. >> Okay. So, I was in there trying to do this to me and then she she thought I'd looked her up and and then the kids I was irritated with. You're irritated with her. >> She thought I was irritating. I love the death out of her. I really do. >> Okay. >> Good. >> Yeah, we're going to take her. >> All right. >> I really do love my aunt so much. [laughter] >> Okay. So, what happened after that? >> She said that I threw her to the ground. >> Did you? >> I didn't know she What happened when she went like that? She said that I WENT LIKE THAT AND THREW HER DOWN WEIGHT AND I didn't throw her down weight at all. >> Okay. Have you uh been diagnosed with anything mentally? >> I just anxiety and depression and PTSD. >> Okay. You take any medication? >> I didn't give it in a couple days cuz I had a colonoscopy yesterday. >> Okay. That that and that's fair. Like I said, just just take a deep breath for me. No, nobody's in trouble. I got But I do have to figure out what's going on here. You know what I mean? Um, what happened after that? >> She said that I threw her to the ground and then I met her. She doesn't believe me that I love her and I really, really do love her, but she doesn't believe me. >> Okay, I got you. It seems like this is all just a misunderstanding. Right. >> Okay. >> Can I talk to her? >> Oh, we'll figure that in a minute. So, did you ever throw her down? Was it an accident or anything? It was an accident. I wasn't trying to do it on purpose or anything. >> Okay. All right. Just give me one second. So, >> she ended up on the ground one way or another. It was maybe just an accident. Okay. >> That windsh, huh? >> Yeah. It's just ADHD ADHD. I know. I got it. >> Um right in the air. >> Yeah. What uh what happened next after that? after she got she fell on the ground and got thrown to the ground. >> She kept saying you shut up you that really sent me that hurt me so much I would never do my own purpose. She kept saying >> okay and then what happened >> and then I went inside and she kept killing Teresa and I and I still went into her. So I tried to come hop in her up on the ground and then she said don't do that to me. Don't do that to me. And I wasn't trying to I was trying to help her up cuz I know she was on the ground and I was trying to tell her I did not mean to put you on the ground. >> Ask you something. >> Did she get bit at all or anything like that? >> This was her finger. I did. I didn't think you was very frustrated with her, but I didn't do it intentionally to hurt her. >> You better cuz you're frustrated with her. Okay. And that's understandable. >> I wasn't trying to hurt you. >> When people have emotions, you know, things things happen. >> She hates me so much. I >> I don't think that's what I don't think that's the case at all. She seemed she seemed okay when I talked to her. Like I said, I think it's just a misunderstanding. Um when when you're cooped up in the house all day with somebody, you know, tension can get high sometimes. Okay, this is what I need you to do. I need you to get some of this fresh air and just breathe for me for a second. Okay, I'll be right back. I promise. >> Uh I got question. >> I really want to see my audience. No, I understand. It'll be a minute. It'll be a minute before even us get back in there and talk to her. She's going to be okay. >> She's going to leave. >> She's going to what? >> She's going to go back to her other forever. Well, hopefully she doesn't make any decisions that that long term. Then five minutes. Spend a little time thinking about >> life-changing decisions. >> Have you guys ever had an issue before? >> So many issues more than I could count. >> And she's always got aggressive with me and called me so many times, too. I think she really really hates me. What's the underlying problem? Why you guys get so upset with each other? >> Well, she thinks that I'm being really disrespectful to her and I'm not. Sometimes I'm just chasing around and she's like, "You got to change the way you are." Like, I don't like it. And then that's what really sets me up cuz I'm such a loving and caring girl. I bring her water. I take her to appointments. I get her medicine. I put lotion on her back. I I knew everything for her or she's >> she has other people that help her with those things too or could help her. How come I want her to stay here then if she says these mean things? >> It's like it's about I care for her the most. I don't really know. just I mean and I don't know the situation or why but it sounds like what you're describing she doesn't sound very grateful for what you're doing for her >> exactly >> and I'm kind of wondering >> and believe me the domestic battery like I was arrested a couple months ago and she started yelling at my grandmother and then she's like don't you yell at your auntie don't you yell at your auntie then my grandfather's like why are you so mental and then I pushed him on the ground I pushed my grandmother on the stomach cuz my emotions ran so high that I didn't know how to control anything. >> Okay. >> I was arrested for domestic battery. >> Well, we got to work on a different [music] outlet for your [bell] for your emotions like that. Maybe take a walk in the future. Can you tell yourself that? >> Yeah. >> Cuz I don't think you want to be in that system. It's just not a good It's not helping you with what it is. And it doesn't sound like people are talking very nice to you. So, take a walk. take some breaths, try some yoga. We certainly don't want to get to a point where we're touching other people cuz then we end up coming and we have to sort it out after. But there's nothing wrong with being upset, especially if people are ungrateful and not saying nice things. So, yeah. Is that case over with? Did they drop it or do they We still got court dates. Wait, it's so much dropped by December. >> That that dropped in December. >> It's almost dropped. I have a little bit more reason to go. >> Okay. >> Or like uh is like a deferred prosecution or something like that. >> I think >> like if you complete all these things, you're you're great. >> Okay. >> Because he's I've been going to get um I've been going to counseling. I've been taking all my medicines. Counseling's been really helping, but today it was like really really sky cuz like the main reason why I got pressured is cuz she wouldn't listen to me and she kept calling me. I hate you. I hate you. So that kind of set me up a really really higher like okay my grade on she's 62. She has neuropathy. She has so many underlying issues and I she sometimes sits on the couch. She's like can you get my brown? Of course I will. of course every lunch and do everything I possibly can. And I think she's just not that grateful. She's such a wonderful, wonderful lady that >> I don't know. >> Okay. Well, in the future, can you do me a favor? When they start saying these things and you're feeling yourself get that that emotional thing, just you can tell them I'm going to go take a walk for a little bit cuz think of how when some time in between how you feel about everything. and everything comes a little less angering, a little less upsetting if you get a little time in between. >> That works almost every time with people. I mean, sometimes it takes longer, >> but time in between things helps. >> And when I called you, she's like, "You're so stupid." And then I was like, I was going to hurt her ambulance cuz I know she was hurt. Believe me, if I wanted to hurt her, I would have called an ambulance and I wouldn't have said why I did cuz I love her. >> I care for her very, very much. No. And she's not handling her her emotions well either. Like there's no reason for this to talk to people that way. >> Especially someone who's trying to help you. >> And she thinks since I'm 46 where I'm so young, I'm so disrespectful. Like I can't even joke with her like anything else. >> And I raised my voice so she could hear me. And then she's like, "Don't you yell at me. I wasn't trying." And then my grandparents are older, so you have to raise your voice a little bit so they can hear you. Yeah. >> What? Uh, just can you go over with me one more time? I I know it's a lot. I'm sorry. No, it's >> I just want to be fair and let you tell your side of the story. Okay. >> Yeah. So, it started with I was sitting on the couch and I was going like that trying to like be happy and like everything else cuz this morning we're having a really good morning and then she thought I went like that or something and I was going like that. She's like, "Oh, I saw." >> Who is this? Your aunt? >> My auntie. >> She thought you were her off. >> Yeah. I was ever like I was telling him I'm the one who puts sweatshirt on her back. I'm the one who gives her water. I'm the one that does so many things and in the past she thinks that I have beat the crap out of her that I have shoved her to the ground when I try. I was trying to pull her closer, give her a hug, march everything off, but she start one second. Slow down for me. I don't track fast. >> Sorry. >> You were moving her hands around. She thought you flipped her off and so she got angry. Was she talking crap or what happened then? >> She got really angry and she's like, "Don't you give me the middle finger." I was like, "Auntie, I was just gazing with you cuz I was trying to help them. I've been helping my grandmother all morning pay bills and I was listening." >> Okay, calm down. >> I'm sorry. >> It's okay. I know this is an emotional roller coaster. Um, and so when she was talking whatever, you got irritated. >> Yeah, because she kept saying, "I hate you. I hate you. >> And then what what happened after that? >> I was trying to pull her closer to me so I could give her a hug. And then she's like, I'm not believing you. I'm not believing you. Get away from me. Get away from me, Teresa. Teresa. And she thought I threw her into the ground. And she went like that and tripped on purpose. That way it looked like I was hurting her. [laughter] And she's like, "Ow, my arm. My arm." And I was trying to get her up because I know she was on the ground. >> And where did this happen? On the back porch. >> On the back porch? Yes. And she thought I did it on purpose. >> Okay. And at what point did did you bite her? >> I bit her when she's like, "I hate you. I hate you." And then I just bit down because I couldn't stand that. >> Was that before [snorts] you before she fell or after? >> It was after when she was on the ground. She put her finger like that. >> Why she was on the ground? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> And then I bent down because she kept saying, "I hate you. I hate you. You [ __ ] You [ __ ] You bitch." >> Okay. All right. Do me a favor. Stand up. Just stand up for me. Go ahead. Turn around. Put your hands behind your back for me. Okay. >> Don't be sorry. Okay. >> Due to the circumstances. You >> made it through the last one. [snorts] >> Due to the circumstances, I'm placing you under the arrest for domestic battery. Okay. >> Oh, don't be sorry. These things happen. >> Just got to find a better outlet in the future. This is going to be the This is the band-aid for the day. All right. >> Let this be a lesson, please. >> The suspect was arrested for domestic [music] battery.
