All the time. >> All the time. >> Now the entire situation changes. Officers allegedly discover crack cocaine inside the vehicle along with drug paraphernalia. And Joseph openly acknowledges using crack. Remember, this started with a man asleep at a gas pump. Now officers are dealing with suspected narcotics, a suspended license, and an apparent outstanding warrant. The stakes just went from a possible DUI investigation to a potentially serious criminal case. >> Nice. >> Oh, you're trading. just for the time being. Got a lot of good crack stuff here. Okay. After officers discover the drugs, Joseph suddenly tries to fight and flee toward the vehicle. That decision could dramatically increase the legal consequences because resisting an officer, especially when injury is alleged, can become a separate criminal charge. According to the script, Joseph ultimately faces five felony charges, including aggravated DUI, driving with a suspended license, possession of a controlled substance, and resisting an officer causing injury. What began as a welfare check at a gas station has turned into a full-blown arrest. And it all started with one man asleep behind the wheel. I think he's probably high on crack cocaine. Yes, he is. >> Awesome. Sit him up. >> Sit him up. You want to help me sit him up? You grab his legs carefully. Get on himself. Sit up more than >> Yeah. You're able to run from there to here. Try try getting in the car. >> THAT'S WHEN HE ran into the car. Okay. Tried to flee. >> Yeah. Go ahead. Release it.
