What are you doing? >> What? >> We've had our lights and sirens on since I-95 and you've taken this long to pull over. Shut your vehicle off. Turn the car off. It is a very simple thing I'm asking you to do. >> What starts as a simple traffic stop quickly turns into a tense confrontation when the driver refuses to follow the officer's demands. The window stays up, the keys stay in his hand, and every command is met with the same calm refusal. The officer keeps pressing harder, expecting the driver to eventually give in, but the driver doesn't move. Give me your keys. No. Hand me the keys. No. Then the officer orders him out of the vehicle, but there's something the officer still doesn't know about the man sitting behind that wheel because this isn't just another driver refusing to cooperate. The man is a sheriff and that changes the entire situation. Now the confrontation takes on a completely different meaning. Was the officer simply doing his job or did he push his authority too far? And did the sheriff deliberately refuse to cooperate because he knew something the officer didn't? If you were in that car, would you follow the commands or stand your ground?
