On July 27th, 2025, officers were dispatched to a Walmart in response to a theft in progress where a customer was seen misusing the selfch checkout lane. >> That's good, sir. Good, sir. So, we'll just have you trespass and you won't be allowed on any Walmart. Okay? >> And trust me, they're really good at what they do. That's all they do all day is check cameras and people. So, if you decide to go to another Walmart, all this information is going to go to another Walmart. They're gonna take you out there. They're gonna see you there. And then after that, you will go to jail for trespassing. >> Okay. >> Just because we just advised you right now that you're not allowed at any Walmart here in Las Cruises. If you do come, obviously, you're going to get arrested for trespassing. While employees continued to review footage, one of the officers checks to see what's been paid for and returns surprised. >> It's okay.
