As the dust settles from the high-speed chase and the pit maneuver flips the suspect's car, officers immediately jump into rescue mode. With three young men injured and trapped inside, law enforcement's priority shifts from pursuit to preservation of life. Officer Green checks for injuries, calmly instructing the driver and passengers to stay still and lie on their stomachs as medical help is on the way. He reassures them that the ambulance is on route and begins asking about pain, bleeding, and whether anyone in the vehicle was wearing a seat belt. Come on, man. Crawl out. The ambulance is coming. The officers avoid moving the men too much. Aware that internal injuries could worsen with movement. One by one, the officers helped the passengers out of the wrecked vehicle and position them safely on the ground. They asked basic medical questions to assess the severity of the injuries. Despite the adrenaline from the chase, the officers remain calm, professional, and focused, even comforting one suspect who fears he lost teeth in the crash. Meanwhile, officers begin identifying each individual, collecting ID cards, and asking for names and dates of birth to prepare for medical and legal processing. Once all suspects are accounted for and injuries stabilized, officers work to coordinate transport to multiple hospitals and make room for arriving EMS crews. This is the side of police work the public rarely sees. The transition from enforcement to emergency response all in the same breath. Hey, can you stay with them? [Music] Bleeding from his mouth. [Applause] Where they going? Uh, might follow them until I can get. So, they got to get three. You guys got to get two more ambulances out here. You won't. Well, at least one. Good for me. Um cuz he's got to go on a backboard. So someone's just not um somebody follow. Are you good with somebody? You can follow. He just can't be in cuff. If he's in cuff, you have to be in the Okay. [Applause] a little bit. So, your right shoulder hurting. Who would like to follow until I get until until I get the the 17 [Applause] other two? Hey, [Applause] wait for you to save. That's what we need to know. So, let me get Hey, hey, hey, quick. I need you. They're 39. Since none of them returned, I need addresses and phone number. He's saying this the gentleman this gentleman here saying that he an ID though. So, I I don't know. riding the car. But you said Yeah. He said you said that he's going to have the same last name as him. This is his last name. L E O N A R D. That's their last name. Oh, okay. Well, that's the problem. Um, hey, I have their phones, but I'm trying to make sure that they come back before I just We're going to get you on your phone. [Applause] Okay. Got a return on Donovan. Okay. And I'm working on Mr. Clark now. Okay. Um, what you think? What? What do you think? What do you mean? You okay? Yeah. My voice is horsearo from Well, that's okay. Good job. I mean, good job. I mean, really fantastic. I passed I saw you. I passed. I know. I know. But I didn't know I didn't know if you had taken a right. No, we went straight. Or if you had went straight through. So, that's why I took a right there looking for you, thinking that you were you were going up Centerville. cuz I was thinking for some reason I thought you were going up center. In my head I said I said I know I said Emerson but it's Emerson. I I was just I I was just trying to get to you, man. Um I was just trying to get to you honestly. But I mean literally went signal 80 pit. I mean I tried to Yeah, it was very very fast. I like how you uh you're like, "Hey, keep updating me. behind you. I'm trying to cancel. You got to give me a reason to let it keep going. Yeah. It just It was like, "Okay, okay, cool. Cool." Reminds you to keep calling stuff out. You're not going bored. There was a slight hesitation at first. I was about to come up and be like, "What are your charges?" Then he came out, started rattling off. I was like, "Good, good, good." Yeah. Green to like 30 charges. Brother, we're about to get all your clothes all over. So, so I got phones for you. Which you take driver. Which other one? Hey, man. I can't remember. Is yours the black phone or the blue phone? The black one or blue? Okay. This is his phone. All right. This is your phone, right, man? Okay. Hold on to that for me. All right. ID returned yet? Yes, they returned. Um, yeah. The reason why was I was trying to track. I understand that. That's why like I waited cuz I understand that. I was about to, but then you told me and I was I was like, "All right." Yeah. Then there was a big pause and I was like, cuz I was driving again, which I understand. I was trying to make sure I got everything out so you didn't have to ask. All right. So, he's gonna have to come out of cuffs. Let's see. So, then once they strap him down, I think it'll be all right to for him to be out of cuffs cuz he'll be, you know, strapped down and he'll be falling right behind the ambulance. So, deal. We are. We are hiring. All right. Well, I'm going to go do the notifications. Okay. I uh when you see the video, he was almost over before I even hauled him out. Yeah. What What is this car? I came up to match speed and took off a little bit and missed. Oh, really? Yeah. I don't know. They get confused when they ride the yard. thinking they like the only reason that I was coming to stop this car is a truck and this car come past me and then right when he passes me he goes around the truck like no no exactly. So then I then I caught up to him right past High Point. And this is Emerson not Emerson but it was close. Yeah. I was like, that's why I just pulled you up by GPS. I'm like, I'm going to just follow his GPS. How's your neck go? Pretty good. How about you? Pretty good. All right, take it easy. See you, man. All right, so we're going to have to take him out of these cuffs. Yeah. Just so they can lay him down. All right, y'all ready? Get off. All right. Do what they say. Yeah. [Applause] That was a quick damn it. You said that. I was hoping that north side. This goes to 78, right? Yeah. Okay. How it turns into though? Yes. Oh, well I know we were headed towards [Applause] over now. [Applause] I sure do. Sure do. That's lucky. [Applause] I don't have that much yet. [Applause] [Applause] Did you hit the wrong [Applause] Well, I want you to guess the first word out of my mouth when you said signal lady. No, it wasn't that one. I thought it was going to cancel. No, he told me why he was chasing it. He said he was right on it. I know he's pit certified. I know he's experienced in pit. I had no reason to call it at that time. I literally heard signal lady in the pit. I'm like that's how it should go. That's I'm So you can stop it the best. I don't think I've heard that since I've been here. I was like, you know what my favorite thing you said was you got here? 70. I got here before you That was my favorite thing that came out of your mouth because that way we're in a range we can handle. No, how you know I went the wrong way. You said over 100. That would have been like I know ever since wine decor I know South I'm pretty sure at one point you said Emerson Lake. I don't think I said Emerson Lake in my head. It was Emerson and and clearly I heard Emerson Lake and I was like I did too. Where are you? I was like Emerson God where is he patrolling the county? Where is South of Lee Road. My god train. No, I was I was sitting at old 35. I know. I was about to say baby Chism over here. I was sitting at at old 35. Is there a Is there a car or something in the city? Is there anybody south? Oh, where are you? I'm right here. So, did we establish signal lady to begin with? He doesn't have a license. Almost killed everybody in the car cuz he didn't have a driver's license. What's funny is she probably would have even pulled him over if you wouldn't have passed. If you had to pass the car and take off in front in front of him. That blows my mind because that meant all of his reckless behavior had nothing to do with you trying to pull him over. No. Which is a uh he he had a solid reason to pursue. He did all of that prior. I mean, you you make you make a move like that pass a car on a double yellow. Yeah. Dangerous. Even it's not even that late. Is it 35 on this? Uh, yeah. I'm pretty 60, I think, is where you said you put pretty good. Good job. Second pitch. Yeah, the tires have a bit of camber. That's a new look. [Applause] kind of looks like it's laid out. What word came out of your mouth when you said I said it like I said it like seven times. You did he was like screaming. I was like you what came to mind was please don't wreck like him wreck while pitting. The roads have dried a lot. Thanks for watching this intense body cam footage.
