Okay, >> sit. >> Thank you. >> Okay, >> now I can see you have something in your bra. So, you're going to keep facing me. >> Okay. >> And I'm going to unmove your bra and just see if it's just a front clasp that's undone. >> Mhm. >> On you. >> Yeah. I'm just going to pat you down real quick so you can deal with the kids. Okay. Going to poker stick me. >> No, I just got I just got paid. I'm a better I'm a retired better. >> All right. Hit the kids so they don't have to listen to this. Okay. >> You They're scared. >> I know. I get it. I get it. >> We had a spire tag. We got to fix the car. Go pay the tag though. >> I got you, man. I got you. It's okay, buddy. >> She's just Jamaican and crazy. Told her I said, "Let the officer take the tag off the car." She said, "She wanted to take it." I said, "No, let him take it off. I'm military. Let him take tag off." >> Is she driving the car? I don't know what's going on. So, you She was the driver. Okay. >> No. I said, "Let's take a Uber." >> Okay. So, while you were struggling, it came undone. >> Is that true? >> There's nothing in my hair, Miss. Okay. Well, we got you. Go ahead and put your feet in. Okay. >> Put your feet in for me, please. >> Hold on. I will ask you one more time, man. Put your feet in. Thank you. >> This came out of her back pocket who's arrested so I can give the three to the dollar right now. >> All right. >> I need a witness statement from him. >> Okay. Okay. Very good. Work on that right now. Uh >> do you have an ID on you or anything? >> I just gave him that. >> Oh, you gave it to him already? >> Yes. If you're engaged that man know what that is? >> I told her to let that man take the tag off and I said, "Baby, let him take the tag off. It's a tag. We're going to pay the fines and get another one." Right. She said, "I don't want to take off." She's a girl. Independent girl. >> No, that has nothing to do with it. >> I know. I told her, "Don't get out of the car." I'm military, sir. >> Yes, sir. I can understand that. We appreciate it. >> We got an officer back involved. He was uh he was coming 108. >> Is it you know? >> I don't know. I trying to clear traffic. >> Oh, we'll get it checked out. Thank you. Thank you. >> A cruiser crash back there somewhere. I'll take a couple. I got to do a three. At least three. Yeah. >> There you go. Here's your ink pen right here. So, what I need you to do is write the truth. Make sure it's truthful, not uh you know, um and I know you're intelligent man. I need to explain that to you. If you would just write briefly what you saw and um that would be suffice. Apparently, there's a cruiser crashed back there somewhere. >> What's that? >> Somebody walked up and said there's a cruiser that crashed back there, but I I think it might have been the Camaro that went >> he intentionally went a different direction, but >> cuz you think they'd have driven right by it, you know. >> Is she okay? >> Yeah, I saw him pulling her. So, they're going to put her in my car here, but then they walk to a different car. This one's mine. >> Why is the yellow take up officer? >> Uh, military. >> They might just be making sure nobody's coming into the parking lot is my guess. I I don't know. But, I mean, you heard her screaming. I didn't hear them call. They might They'll probably get a rescue truck down here to check her out. See if anything happened to her. I said I I didn't hear. I got here after the fact kind of. >> But now it's kind of the point where everything now it's calmed down. So, everybody's going to figure out what's going on. >> End of the day. >> Nobody's or anything. just went to the park with the kids, >> right? >> I said, "Baby, go pay get the tax. Just go pay the rest of the fines and see how much the tag is." >> Right. Yeah. The fines are easy to replace, man. I got terrible handwriting. >> That's all right. >> No, seriously. Always have. That's one of my dad's pet peeves with me. My father's handwriting was like professional, impeccable, >> and so I had to be the one. >> You got some other good traits, I'm sure, though. So, >> the hair looks nice. You got some good looking hair. How's that? >> Got the hair for a certain deal. So, we're going to have to make a decision what we're going to do with that car. >> What are the charge? Huh? That's a bad deal, obviously. >> Oh, yeah. I'm sure. Yeah, probably. Well, I don't know what it's aggravated. >> I don't know what the >> I would charge her with um >> I don't know what the original >> I would charge her I would have to entertain neglect or doing that to the police in front of kids. The same as you're committing a violent crime, a felony with a children's brother, you know. >> All right, let me see just for a second. Holy moly. >> You wrote it down and I appreciate that. This is recording. Okay, I'm just going to ask you some questions. Where were you at when you saw this start? >> Coming this way. >> So, you were walking or driving? >> I I was walking. >> Okay. >> I came around. As I got here, in my peripheral vision, I could see the officer had her by the leg. She was hopping. He was telling her to get down. He told her to get down once, but then as I got closer, I could see he appeared to be in distress. He was from two to three areas on his face. >> Okay. She looked at me. I looked at her. I'm like, "What did you do?" >> Yeah. get down. I grabbed her arm and all of a sudden she started struggling. She reached for the officer and took the pen out. >> Okay. Wow. >> Put it to her right hand. My impression was she was going to use >> Okay. In the face of the neck. That's what I thought. >> Yeah. Okay. >> And I I I screamed at her, got her attention. I reached over and took it from her. >> Awesome. Thank you for doing that. >> And that's when all the >> police arrived. >> Do you believe what they were doing? She was a aggressively resisting him. Oh, yes. She was her father. Well, so your dad's your best witness. >> Yeah. Unfortunately. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. So, we appreciate your time and uh thank you so much for what you did. >> You're not going to get enough credit for it, but you know, just know you did an awesome thing for us. So, um thank you. >> Yes, sir. >> So, she got out of the car. >> Oh, cuz she didn't want the officer to take the tag. >> I said, "Let him take the tag. Just park it. Get another one." >> Yeah. No kidding. You know, it's not >> Right. Right. And then what did you see once she got out? What all happened? >> I'm watching them. I'm not really paying attention to her, but I I hear the rumble. So I turn around. I see him and her and officer tussling. I see him scratching his face. >> And I'm saying, "Look, I save lives, man. I risk my life saving lives." I said, "Let me have that ragged ass tag go pay these bills and get another one and keep on going cuz it's hot out here. You see these kids are suffering." >> Okay. >> And that's the whole story. >> Okay. >> Okay. Did you hear anything from them like yelling or screaming? >> No, they she just wouldn't resist cuz she's stubborn like >> she wouldn't resist. I said I don't know why they entangle but once they entangle she resisted that. >> In the end, Danielle faced it all. Robbery, assault on an officer, criminal mischief, resisting arrest, a list of felonies that kept growing. All of it over something as small as a car tag. A routine stop turned into chaos. A ticket became a felony. And for Danielle, the price was far more than a car tag. What do you think? Was justice served or did it go too far? Let me know in the comments below.
