driving on the property and intentionally rammed the passenger side of Sergeant Jones patrol car. Sergeant Jones exited his vehicle and deployed his patrol rifle. Kip crashed his truck into a ConX box and additional property. Sergeant Jones then discharged his Spring Lake officers including Sergeant Tayvon Jones were dispatched to 8900 Netti Street in reference to a domestic disturbance in progress. Comments on the call indicated that a family member, later identified as Johnny Kemp, was pointing a firearm at relatives and children. Upon arrival, officers worked to move family members to a safe location due to Kemp being identified as the armed suspect. Officers attempted to communicate with Kemp from a safe distance and began deescalation efforts, including conducting a high-risisk stop to direct him out of his vehicle and away from any weapons. He was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment and then later booked into the Oklahoma County Jail. He's being held on three counts of assault and battery with a deadly weapon after former conviction of a felony. Two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon. Two counts of pointing of firearm after former conviction of a felony. One count of possession of a firearm after former conviction.
