What time, dude? >> Can you help me find my papa? >> Where's your dad at? Where's your papa? Where's your dad, buddy? Is that your dad? >> This child is pleading for help after witnessing his father being shot brutally. And yet, in a chilling twist, the killer summons the police himself, calmly waiting outside to meet the officers face-to-face. >> I did my part. >> What's that? >> I did my part. >> You did your part? >> Yeah, for the Marines. There's two bodies. >> What? >> There's two bodies. >> What the killer reveals is so bizarre that it exposes a mind consumed by delusion and paranoia. >> And when I went to work and came [music] back, he left me a arranged fish like an encrypted message. It was It was a dead cockroach, and I remember that one time that his his son he was afraid of cockroaches, and I told him not to be afraid of him to cockroaches because I spent time on them. >> It all begins on November 7th, 2025 at approximately 10:27 p.m. when Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office deputies are dispatched to reports of gunfire at a residence in the 1400 block of Entrada Bonita Southwest in Albuquerque, New Mexico. When they arrive, they're met by a man, and almost immediately, something feels off. >> Sheriff's Office. You called, brother? What's going on, dude? >> I did my part. >> What's that? >> I did my part. >> You did your part? >> Yeah, for the Marines. There's two bodies. >> What? >> There's two bodies. There's one right here. >> Go ahead and set the sword down for me. Just set the sword down, brother. >> All right. >> Yeah, set the sword down. Do you have any weapons on you? >> Yes, that's >> Don't be stupid. Get your hands out of your pockets. >> right. Walk towards us. >> Walk towards us. >> Walk towards us now. Walk towards us now. Walk towards us. Turn around. Walk backwards. Walk backwards. >> Get your tape out. >> 1616 149 is advising he is locked in his room and he can't come outside. >> Get down on your knees. >> 1616 4, can you give us entry real quick? >> Get down on your knees now. On your stomach. On your stomach, put your hands out like an airplane. Like an airplane to your side. Do it now. Palms to the sky. >> Palms to the sky. >> Palms to the sky. >> Everything about this man is unsettling. Officers hear unexpected statements about bodies being involved, but the truth remains unclear. And then, [music] cutting through the uncertainty, a voice is heard that no officer ever wants to hear at a crime scene. >> I'm going to ask. >> Go, there's a kid. Go. What's up, buddy? Go ask your mom. What's wrong, buddy? What's wrong, dude? What's wrong, dude? >> Can I have my papa? >> Where's your dad at? Where's your dad? Where's your dad, buddy? Is that your dad? >> 149 uh male came outside with a sort of an appendage said he was trying to slice himself. >> What's Who's all here, buddy? >> 149 I do have a >> With a child present, the situation immediately takes on a far more serious weight. >> [music] >> The child is visibly panicked, and as officers move deeper into the house, they're met with something both heartbreaking and horrifying. >> 1617 itself. >> My dad. >> Can you start me 82? I'm going to have one body. Here's the unconscious, not breathing. Hey buddy. Hey. Hey. Come on. I also have two 10-30s. Hey. Hey buddy. Hey. Come here. Come here. I'm going to have to detain Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. Let's go. Let's go. You You okay? You okay? You okay? You okay, buddy? You okay? You okay? You okay? You okay? I got you. You okay? >> The child is identified as the victim's son. [music] And just like that, the scene shifts. What began as a response call is now an active homicide investigation. They find a male body with a gunshot wound to the head whose identity is still unknown. As officers piece together what they're seeing, a disturbing suspicion takes shape. The man who greeted them might be at the center of it all. Cops suspect he is none other than the killer. And if that isn't unsettling enough, it soon becomes clear that the call to the police also came from him. He is identified as Alexis Nahuel Hernandez and he is taken into custody without delay. >> Don't turn it there. Give him 49, George. Tell him what happens. Do you have any other weapons on you? >> I don't. I have something in my pocket. >> What's up? >> There's another a clip in in that other pocket for this guy. This is my phone. >> Get in the car. >> After Alexis is secured in a patrol car, officers suddenly remember the mention of another body from earlier. And without wasting time, they head back inside the house to search once again. The situation is still chaotic and hard to piece together. So, every room has to be cleared and scoured for evidence. And just then, they make another heartbreaking discovery. >> This is THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE, BURLEIGH COUNTY. ANYONE INSIDE, COME OUT WITH YOUR HANDS UP, OPEN AND EMPTY. >> Hold up the door. One second. They have the calling card on the line, dude. 225, is that you? You stated that you were on the phone with someone currently, right? >> This is the Sheriff's Office. If you're inside, make yourself known. >> 10-4. Walker, hold. This is the BURLEIGH COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE. COME OUT WITH YOUR HANDS UP, OPEN AND EMPTY. MAKE YOURSELF KNOWN. Come my way. Hold what you got. What's your This room? I'm just Okay, I'm going to step in real quick. We have one male bleeding. He's face down in the kitchen of the house. >> Finding another body already keeps everyone on edge as the house is being secured. Officers sense someone else is still inside. Tension rises as officers move through the rooms, uncertain whether they're about to find another victim or come face to face with an accomplice. >> THIS IS A BIRD >> COME OUT NOW. KEEP YOUR HANDS UP. COME OUT NOW. >> I DON'T KNOW AT THIS TIME. WE'VE NOT BEEN >> KEEP YOUR HANDS UP RIGHT NOW. KEEP YOUR [ __ ] HANDS UP. >> COME OUT OF THE ROOM NOW WITH YOUR HANDS UP. >> STEP OUTSIDE RIGHT NOW. >> SPANISH. TAKE OVER. WALK HIM TO US. Spanish only. Spanish. >> Come out now. >> Not on this show. Not on this show. >> Hey. Hey. >> [sighs] >> I got hands on me and one set of cuffs. Get him on his stomach. >> Hey. Hey. Calm down. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Lay Lay down. >> Lay down. Lay down. >> Come in. >> These two men are taken into custody on the spot, though it is later revealed they're simply innocent tenants living in the same house with no connection to the double murder in any way. They are eventually released, but in the meantime, [music] officers continue searching the home. >> THIS IS THE BERNALILLO COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE. THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE. STEP OUT WITH YOUR HANDS UP, OPEN AND EMPTY SO WE CAN ENSURE your safety. >> Did you hear movement? >> Yeah. Me and Bailey walk or knock on the door first. >> Or something like move around and like fall in. >> So then let's >> breach >> breach >> Two tone and push up the ball into here, okay? >> Got it. >> What's up? >> You guys already deployed in there? >> Yeah, we deployed in there. >> Is it 101 0 4 on the north side of the property? >> It's locked. We have to kick it in. >> You ready? >> Yeah. >> I need you to hold the hold the hold the ball. >> After a thorough search of the house, officers confirm that no one else is inside, but that offers little comfort. The scene remains terrifying, and even the most seasoned officers can't hide their unease. >> Glad this kept going, brother. >> [snorts] >> Yeah, this is a mask, dude. >> He came out with a sword, dude. >> Like sprinting at you guys or just >> No, he just walked out like wearing like leather or not leathers, but like latex gloves? He said I was in the marine car, there's two bodies. Then we pulled him out of where we had a gun on him. >> Dude, I literally had a feeling about this when we were going to my 601 call. >> Have you been here? >> No, but I just was like this sounds >> and 40, dude. >> The homeowner inside his house said he heard gunshots and he's locking the door, and I was like, this guy's going to come out with a gun. >> With the scene cleared, officers bring Alexis in for questioning, where his statements quickly grow more chilling than the crime itself. >> So like I said, my name is Cameron. I'm with the Sheriff's Office. >> Okay. >> And you know, my hope is is to talk to you a little bit about what happened, and hopefully you might be able to explain a little bit about what happened, okay? >> [clears throat] >> So, just so I kind of know, have you had any like have you done any drugs today? Have you drank any alcohol? No? Uh since we brought you down here, I don't know, do you watch movies like cop movies at all? >> Mhm, not really man. >> No? Okay. So, when we bring people down to a police station, obviously like in handcuffs and like you're coming into our police station, uh I have to advise you of your rights, okay? >> Yeah, it could can we do that because I don't I don't know. I can't really think right now, you know, I just I never done something like this. I just got the fear to get over me, man. >> After the initial formalities are complete, the real interrogation begins and as Alexis speaks, each answer peels back another layer of his mind revealing a deeply disturbed and twisted individual. >> Let let let's start let's start here. Um can I get can I get your full your full name? >> Alexis Nakera Hernandez. >> Okay. And what's your date of birth, Alexis? And where do you live? >> Uh well, I used to live in that place but >> So, that the where where you were at today, that's where you live? >> In that room. >> Okay. And how long have you lived at that place? >> Uh I don't really remember but it's been I don't know, like I'd say 5 6 months 7 months. >> Okay, so you've been there a little bit? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> But up until yesterday I decided I wanted to go back to my parents I just I heard that guy in on the other side of the wall, you know, like stalking me and I don't know what to do. >> He claims one victim had been stalking him and says voices coming from the vents pushed him to act. In his mind, the threats felt real and he insists he to kill before being killed. Then he goes on to make even more bizarre claims. >> Can you tell me about that? What do you mean by stalking you? >> I think all the lights in that room are cameras. I think it is camera. I mean, I don't think so. >> Okay. So, do you know who that guy is? Like a name? Like, do you know his name? >> Hector Rios. The real one. I thought I knew him, but >> Hector Rios? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> I don't think I really know him at all. >> And then, who's the other guy that was there? >> The guy who I I got lives with him, too. >> Do you know his name? >> As far as I know, he goes by Yours, but I don't really know. >> Like, Yours? >> Y O R C E >> Okay. And did you know him? Like, had you seen him before? >> Yeah, I've seen him, but I don't I don't know him at all. >> Oh, okay. >> From his statements, the victims are identified as Hector Rios and Yours. Their lives are taken for no apparent reason, but as the story unfolds, it becomes clear that this is only the beginning. Things are about to get far more creepy and strange. >> So, how do you know Hector? >> Well, uh I had to move out, and like, I found that place on Facebook, but I I was you know, I was never really sure, and since I work a lot, like, I don't really have time to like be like looking around and >> Sure. >> And so, a few months ago, I started getting some signs at work that I might have been in trouble, you know, like >> What do you mean? >> I would I I just I stalk a little shelf like for people and then people grab them and then they put it in the box for the orders to be >> Okay. >> And then they said a window window window window. And then I finally decided to check the windows. And I guess he started to suspecting something. >> Okay. And you said work? Where do you work? >> I don't know where I work there. Amazon. >> Oh, at Amazon? Okay. The big one out >> Yeah, and >> in Chula Vista? >> Yeah, and he also knows that he also knows the road I take. He knows what time I get home. He knows He knows everything about me. >> Yeah, definitely. >> From what Alexis is saying, it becomes clear he is suffering from delusions and paranoia. But a question lingers. Is this real or is it an act? As investigators try to get to the bottom of it, Alexis is not done as he has saved the most bizarre explanation till now. >> I'm sorry. I mean, I can tell this is really bothering you. So, I'm sorry that that you're going through something like this. That that's very scary. Um so, tell me about like your Hector and yours relationship. Like were you guys friends? Were you guys >> Well, I I thought so. I kind of thought like a I thought otherwise, but 2 days ago I heard him I don't know like through the wall or like a creepy voice saying he wanted to do something to my boss and I don't know. It was just so scary. >> I can imagine. That would be scary. Okay. And so, that you said was 2 days ago? >> I believe so. >> Okay. And it it's fine if you don't remember exactly. Um that's not a big deal. Um so, you you hear this like creepy voice. And just to make sure I understood I heard >> I was [clears throat] staying in the that bedroom and and I heard you so clear if you were the vents. >> Okay. >> And then I checked the windows and then I realized that those things are sealed shut. It's [ __ ] She has the the the keys to the door. >> Okay. >> [clears throat] >> I talked to my mom about it but she didn't really believe me and she said that they knew him. >> Okay. >> But I don't think >> You knew Hector? >> That apparently but they I don't think they knew him at all. And >> [clears throat] >> when I went to work and came back she left me a message, like a really encrypted message. It was it was a dead cockroach and I remember that one time his his son he was afraid of cockroaches and I told him not to be afraid and to cockroaches you got to step on them. >> Mhm. >> And so I figured out the message was that he was going to kill you. >> And you you thought he was going to kill you? >> I didn't think so but my gut was telling me especially when I heard that voice. >> Yeah. >> I don't know what he was planning to do with me. >> Okay. >> And he knows my family, too. >> Yeah. So >> And he didn't even tell me. >> Yeah. >> I was just so afraid. >> Mhm. >> According to Alexis, the voices are what led him to do it, pushing him towards something unthinkable. By this point, officers are convinced he is mentally unstable. Still, that doesn't stop him from calmly describing the murders in disturbing, graphic detail. >> Told me to go with him and the other guy was right behind me. >> Okay. >> And then I don't know there's no way out. >> Okay. And so there was no way out and [clears throat] is that why you shot him? >> I don't know for the fear of my family. >> Yeah. Okay. >> A direct confession is finally obtained. He also identifies the victims as Hector Rios and yours. Alexis explains he purchased a Glock handgun earlier, supposedly for protection. But, it doesn't end there. The weapon is reloaded, and Alexis returns to each victim firing again. That detail matters as it points to deliberation and intent, not panic or self-defense. As of now, the official cause of death for the second victim has yet to be released. Alexis Najera Hernandez is charged with two counts of murder and booked into the Metropolitan Detention Center on the morning of Saturday, November 9th. At his detention hearing, a judge orders that he be held without bond. At 25 years old, Alexis remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center facing two counts of murder and the possibility of spending the rest of his life in prison if convicted. A trial date has not yet been set.
