International Airport police responded to the PF Chang's inside Tampa International Airport in Tampa Florida after a woman called officers during a dispute with restaurant staff she claimed employees had been harassing her and threatening to tamper with her food while also disputing part of her fifty five dollar Bill but after officers reviewed surveillance and found nothing supported her claim the focus of the encounter quickly began to shift what started as a complaint over a restaurant Bill would soon put officers in a much different position here's what the deputies encountered I'm bringing this in so you could see this um so some of the meal is still outside this is my check I'm gonna explain to you what's going on so you gonna pay for the check um yes I need to I I need to tell you what's going on I'm here just to pay you to pay the check what are you doing man basically what's your name Officer Dustin hi I'm Nisha uh huh so basically I came into PF Chang's to get some food mm hmm I was the only customer here right mm hmm and my food was getting rotten mm hmm and way before I ordered my food the they stated that my food was gonna be tampered with right and who said that they were number one playing alt music and it was like somebody that stated it who said that one of the staff members who well I spoke to the waitress about it and the waitress who's the waitress him OK and he apologized and he asked if management if they could fix the problem but management said they wasn't gonna stop the harassment so management said that they wasn't going to stop the harassment so I asked what harassment there's nobody here harassing me so I asked to move away from so I asked to so I asked to move away and go outside right so I'm outside my food continue to get threatened so I called corporate I let them know what was going on this is not the first time that this has happened the last time my food was threatened on a property I literally have documentation in my bag I got it OK you've been here for a long time I'm the one that talked to you out over there so I'm trying to you've been leaving you know you listen to me listen listen to me just because the music is loud doesn't mean that they're threatening your food okay can I finish or you you need to listen to what I'm saying you've been going in and out leaving your stuff over here so I don't know exactly when you ordered this so you know I called you guys right yeah I know you did okay so but you know I dealt with you before right I have no idea who you are oh you don't have any idea when me because I was using a charger yeah so my my credit cards is on my phone so if you guys could provide me a charger we can take care of it Joe do you have a charger do you have a charger you got a calling to see your daughter said she could pay her Bill which is $55 and change but her cell phone's dead and I just want to inquire if if not you could pay it does mom say she got the means to pay she mom says that she is a dancer and that she should have the she should hopefully she does if she doesn't mom can't help mom can't pay your Bill for you I know I don't want to take you to jail and if you can't pay it I I don't want to be forced you seem like a nice lady that's it need some help I don't want to take you to jail I'm trying if you cannot pay your Bill I will be forced to take the job I have no control over that so that's why I call I asked your mom I'm gonna call her and ask if you couldn't pay could she I it's been it hasn't been proven yet that you can pay I'm trying to take care of you so we need to figure out if corporate called this location that's a civil matter I don't I only deal in criminal matters so you already talked to corporate corporate said to speak to management while this is present so they can remove that item off of the Bill that was tampered with or not we review video there nobody temper with your mind with your stuff nobody that's why my dispatcher just called me so there was still things that weren't eaten there's no need to be charged for that you can't you can't order something and not and not then decide you're not gonna pay for it so I just don't understand why he's got the thing he's got the reader not the reader you got a mobile reader it's over here you have to come over here hey does this ever come over here nothing to do you have another card yeah and I'm how many cards yeah you have different cards in there pass one of those cards yeah I'm about to have someone send me the money to pay for it since my card is did you not understand what I'm saying I'm not gonna sit here in a hypothetical that you that you can get somebody else to pay or do something but that's how the Bill is gonna get paid do you have a problem so the resolve is paying so I have to pay for it no no no the resolve is taking time away from them and it's about to be paid right now corporate literally said that they were calling the store to remove the Bill due to that's it we're done we're done put your phone up no we're done done with what why are you arresting me for failing to pay your Bill but you didn't give me a chance I did give you a chance I gave you more than one chance I even called your mom and asked if she could pay it for you you race baited the situation race baited I'm black just like you girl ain't no race involved in it it's a transaction you're arresting me and corporate has a video of me being arrested you agreed to when you came in here and set an order food you agreed to consume their food and pay for their food I didn't eat it though well you ate some of it regardless two bites and I'm gonna give you two bites but you still don't have the means to pay for the two bites give me a chance to I did so why am I arrested you know why you're arrested hmm because you wanted attention but I didn't steal anything thank you so much oh you got you got the Bill I got the Bill OK I got everything I said OK so why am I arrested you know why this way and I'm not saying that like in a threatening manner but being honest though that I've been harassed here before I'm 10 steps ahead of myself and of this situation it's no point and then once it's all said and done who's gonna get in trouble so I'll do I'm gonna tell you I'm gonna once we get you in the car I'm gonna call your mom and tell her what happened okay there's nothing for you to call my mom about because my lawyer's already aware what's happening right now okay I'm still gonna call your mom'cause it's a Christian thing to do okay it's only me from the bottom of my heart I really really really want to thank you where is your stuff he has my belongings but where did they transport it oh so it's gonna go to the to the uh lost and found and the uh I'm going to the lost and found I need you to sit down so where's my stuff going okay your stuff is gonna be at at where your storage yeah I did where's my belongings going you have 30 days to pick them up it's gonna be on the airport lost and found for safe keeping because the jail do not accept any any belongings anymore I don't understand why you got arrested for spitting food you've been arrested for trespassing I never left and I tried to pay you didn't allow it you don't give somebody a chance the suspect was later identified as 25 year old Denasia Lansdon she was arrested and transported to Orient Road Jail in Tampa Florida where she was charged with obtaining food or lodging with the intent to defraud a second degree misdemeanor her bond was set at $150
