During the stop, officers discovered the driver was wearing body armor and displaying fake law enforcement credentials. A search recovered two counterfeit CIA badges, a Glock 40 caliber handgun, ammunition, and additional tactical gear. >> The driver, a convicted felon, was arrested and later charged with felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of body armor, fleeing an officer, resisting or obstructing an officer, and impersonating a peace officer. Additional citations for speeding and other violations were also issued.
