on Sunday September 7th, 2025 officers with the Orlando Police Department responded to a disturbance call at Orlando International Airport in Orlando Florida a man was accused of striking a TSA agent twice after being asked to empty his pockets during a security screening here is what the officers encountered she said do you have anything in your pocket I do have anything in my pocket I have my my um ID in my uh it's my phone in my pocket be right out in front of TSA on the beach when I went to the um to the thing she told me west checkpoint good when I went to the little bubble thing she told me put my hands up I went like this she checked me tell me go do when I go do I she's like 10 4 in the line she's like you can't have a phone in your pocket and I hand the phone off to the guy or whoever was standing around like how you gonna have the phone she ran over there and said I hit her with the phone so when I came back with this to go put my phone through my girl and my wife and the other said she just told them that you hit her with a phone I said I hit her with a phone mm hmm how did I hit her with a phone it wasn't even be on camera I said would you want to call my lawyer I if I hit her with the phone it should be on camera we should be able to sit on camera right now and see that I hit this lady with the phone right now we should be able to see it sir maybe you should be able to sit on camera right now if that if I physically assaulted her I know how this go you see you I know I'm a whole person I know how this go I have a lawyer if I hit you with a camera we should no reason okay instead of giving it to the officer you know that I asked for it alright he just just like this okay so he had he had no dispute with anybody else prior to that he just no then after that the wife was asking like he hit you he hit you I said yeah he just i'mma hit him in the corner you're such a and they just start like yelling and okay so just um put your name here put your name right here and then just write down what happened okay just a little short he came through your he came through your checkpoint told him did you tell him to put the phone at the no I didn't I'm not even ask him to hold it you didn't even say anything no he the officer was the one do you have anything in your pockets he pulled the phone and the wallet and then he usually like put it on the edge right okay so yeah so just write that down and write down you know exactly what happened and then to put down that you want to press charges at the end so you understand how it all works right with pressing charges okay so um you want to press charges for is a battery struck you with the phone he'll be going to jail um and then there would be a court date um where he would have to go to court and he would possibly have to show up to provide your testimony so then if I don't press charges what would be if you don't press charges he doesn't go to jail he doesn't go to jail um and then he go about his day so it just depends yeah it just depends if you want him to go to jail today or not so I mean I don't know cause he not even like like sneak me like you know like hard like he grab me or something well it's it's up to you what you wanna do but we can't tell you we can't you know persuade you one way or the other it's up to you and what you how you wanna go about it so if you don't want if you don't wanna press you don't even have to write a statement you don't have to do any of that you go on about a day you go on about the rest of your day but if you do you write a statement
