On July 28th, 2023, officers responded to a credit union over multiple forged checks. So, what's up? She tried to cash a check and cash another check, too. Um not here. Um yesterday, she went to the Wilmington location and attempted to um cash another check. Okay. They wouldn't do it. And so, today she comes in here and raises all kinds of hell because they froze her account, and they were just beginning to work on all of it. Okay. I didn't get the check from yesterday. During the investigation and search incident to arrest, they recovered multiple forged checks, a large amount of cash, and a grayish substance that field tested positive for heroin. Ms. Rich was charged with forgery, attempted forgery, deceptive practices, possession of a controlled substance, and a probation violation.
