You want an Emmy? >> Yeah. >> What's that about? >> Insert my, you know, body parts into her or anything like that. Um, >> you know, >> your finger. You did. You put your finger inside of her. >> On October 14th, 2023, a client at Westlake filed a police report on Emmy award-winning actor Kyle Carins for assaulting her during a massage appointment. >> So, what's going on? Okay. >> As you can see, the pain off. I'm injured. >> That's why I heard myself. My doctor told me to get a deep tissue massage. >> Okay. >> So, my husband surprised me with a deep tissue massage. >> And the dude was working. Then I'm like, man, he's awful close to personal pro. My daughter does massages >> and I never had nobody touch me like, you know, hey, then it's like going on. But then he has his chest pressed against my chest. The head here holding me down like >> and then fumble on me like pulling on my breast and rubbing on me. >> Mhm. >> And then when he leaned back, I said, "I've got to go to the bathroom." >> You know, I got up went to the bathroom. >> Mhm. >> And I thought, "Well, maybe I call the cops while I'm in here." But I didn't want him to cuz at some points he like had my neck and I'm thinking, you know, when they massage you, they pull. I mean, I'm not going to twist my neck. So So I said, "Wait until I get in the car." So I called my daughter and was explained to her. She ain't allowed to do that. Call the police. So then I called you guys cuz I'm like, >> you know, I'm an old ass woman >> and he needs to be out of that building period. and arrested. If he's doing that, how many other people has he done? >> Yeah. >> And then when I came out, I said I go to the restroom. >> And then when I went to the restroom, came out, I didn't see him. >> Okay. >> Nowhere in sight. >> Okay. So, and I'm I'm sorry. I have to kind of go over this again. So, he touched, licked, did things with his face to your breast, and put his fingers inside your >> 3 days later, officers tracked him down in an Uber on his way to the very same place the assault took place. boss. Can I have you step out to my partner back? Keep your hands where you can see. >> All right. Keep your hands where I can see him. Come back here. Come back here. >> Yeah. Back home together. Anything illegal on you? >> No, I'm under work. Okay. >> Come on. Back here. >> Are you under? >> You're under arrest for what? >> There's a warrant for arrest. I be under >> You're under arrest. >> You're under arrest for for what? >> He just told you there's a warrant for your arrest. I'll talk to you about it >> before I go to work. That's That's how I pay for the for the traffic ticket is by getting income. We have some business with them and uh besides that, you're good to go. So, thank you for your cooperation and take care. >> But got some business we got to take care of. Cool. >> Okay. >> All right. Um you're Kyle. >> Yeah. >> Kyle Carson, right? Um tell me a little bit about yourself if you don't mind. You won an Emmy. >> Yeah. What was that about? >> Uh, I went to the Cleveland School of the Arts, uh, theater performing major, won an Emmy award, uh, for Crimestoppers, case files, uh, actually helping solve crimes, getting people off the street. Um, did a reenactment, the reenactment, won an Emmy award. >> So, what was your part like? You just did a bunch of different parts or I mean, >> I was the victim. >> Yeah. Of >> the story. >> What was the story? I mean, I don't want to spoil it. You should watch the episode. [laughter] >> So, do you have to apply to get put on that [clears throat] or somebody picked you or I mean, what's I don't know what the process is. They got no clue. >> Yeah, it was um at the time it was a mutual friend from the high school that I went to um who was a part of the show. They were casting. >> I'm not sure that I ever uh met anybody that won an Emmy. It's kind of neat. >> Oh, well, you know, we're just like you. >> Yeah. Yeah. I mean, everybody is >> h Did [clears throat] everyone who won it get one or was it like a just you that got it or all the whole cast? >> Uh, it was the entire production team. >> So, does everyone get their own individual? >> Yep. >> That's cool. I've actually wondered that for a while with awards and Okay, makes sense. That's what I figured. But >> Mhm. Yeah. Yeah. >> So, where do you keep your award? >> [laughter] >> Well, uh, my Emmy award is in a car that my dad gave to me that was actually towed. >> Oh, no [ __ ] >> Yeah. So, it was in the trunk of a towed car. So, you all probably have it. >> And maybe we can help you get that thing out. It's police the Emmy. >> It's Yeah, it's in the trunk of the car. Yeah. >> Man, you can't let that thing sit there. Have you called them and tried to [laughter] >> No. >> No. Nothing. [clears throat] >> See, I'm serious. We're down to go make some phone calls, see what we can do. I mean, it's >> Yeah, >> that's pretty. That's something you should have, you know? I mean, that's >> that's a good memory, you know. >> Yeah. I mean, >> so do you want us to do that? Do you want us to look into it? Try to get that thing back for you. >> You're talking about You want to keep it as memorabilia? >> Not for you. You want to get it? Give it to you. It's yours. >> Sure. Sure. Sure. >> You doing it? >> All right. We can look into it. We can't promise it, but we can see what we can do. >> We brought you here, so you're in custody. You can't leave. So, I do have to read your rights. Okay. You've seen TV. You've been on TV. You know how people write their rights on TV, right? Same exact way, right? >> I don't even know what it looks like. What it look like? >> It's uh looks like >> Sorry. [clears throat] It's like a angel wing holding the globe. >> Oh, yeah. Okay. Okay. >> Well, as you know, I mean, yeah, you've got a couple traffic warrants. I didn't tell you that. But that's not the reason why you're back here in this room. Yeah. I mean, you're no dummy. So, You know, we bring you back here to talk to you for a reason, right? >> No, I mean I that's honestly the only uh thing that I have is traffic tickets. >> Yeah. So, you're massage therapist? >> Yep. >> How long you been doing that? >> 7 years. >> 7 years. All right. Um, some out in LA, some here. >> Yep. >> Where did you work at in LA? >> Massage in Santa Monica. And >> any celebrities or anything? >> Yeah. Yeah. Really? Allison Han, American Vine, the vampire slot. >> Yeah, I have no clue about celebrities. I know a few, but >> I don't pay attention. >> I don't even have TV in my house. >> No, you don't even have a TV. >> I mean, I have a television. Just I don't watch cable TV or watch movies and stuff, but >> listen to radio. >> Yeah, I listen to radio. Yeah. >> Yeah. I mean, I got prime. I'm not. [laughter] That makes me feel like a mish or something. I'm not. >> I have electricity. You have heat. >> I'm good. Water. >> Sort of. >> Sort of. Good. Good. Good. >> All right. So, how long you been working at uh Spa West? >> For about two weeks now. Two 3 weeks. >> Where'd you work before then? >> Uh Hand is Stone Beach. >> Okay. Why'd you leave there? massaging the glutes. >> You left because you were massaging glutes. >> Yep. >> Okay. >> That's all they gave you was was glutes and >> Yeah. Yeah. They said uh well, uh draping wise, I guess, um when it came to the thigh or glutial region, uh an employee who was working with me And I was working on a girl with a pretty large posterior, you know, and she I guess was uncomfortable because her butt cheek was coming out and went to the management about it and management said, "Hey, >> no, no butt cheek here." Said, "Okay." >> Oh, gotcha. >> You know, they gave me two weeks and it was just, you know, that was kind of it. >> So, I went to and I work at a European style spa. So, okay. [clears throat] >> So, what's your what's your job description here at Spa West? >> It's massage therapy. It's the same thing. I do u 60, 90, 120 minute uh massages. >> And in the two weeks that you've been there, how many clients do you think you've had? >> 16. >> Okay. Okay. About how many clients do you think you've had through that app? >> Through su. >> Mhm. [clears throat] >> Oh wow. >> If you had to guess, it doesn't have to be >> 150. >> Holy [ __ ] >> Wow. >> That's pretty good. >> Yeah. It's just, you know, making a living. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Wow. That's a lot. Um, make pretty good money doing it. >> Yeah. Yeah. Uh, I would say they range anywhere between 90 150 bucks a session plus gratuitity. You know, you get at least like 20 to 50 bucks in gratuitity. You know, >> they rate you on the app and everything. >> Yep. >> How's your rating? >> 4.7. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Out of five. Out of five. >> That's good. >> Thanks. >> I think I don't mind about that. You don't get massages? No. No. Never. >> He'll have a TV coming. [laughter] You >> guys are your feet allowed to foot massage seems like something you would do at least once a Valentine's Day. I don't know. >> No. >> No. >> No. You're good. Yep. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> All right. So, Spa West, we uh we received a complaint. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Something like what you're talking about from uh from your other place in was it Beachwood? >> Uh Anderson. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Pretty similar to something like that. >> What did they say? >> Well, we'll get to that. >> Okay. >> But that's what we have to talk about here today. >> Oh, okay. >> Um and it's been some time. So, we've been doing some background work. um just kind of checking things out a little bit and making sure that this is going to be a valid complaint or not. Right. >> And [clears throat] all the work we do leads us to come here and talk to you about this. >> Sure. Sure. >> You know how it works, right? So, >> no, this is my first time ever being detained for a massage uh >> complaint. Yeah. Okay. That makes sense now why you didn't want me to return to the spa today, >> right? >> All right. That's right. All right. Cool. >> Yeah. Yeah. Can't go there today. Yeah, that makes sense now. >> Um, so you remember all four of your clients that day, right? >> Yeah. >> Now I don't know my name. So, so you know, don't don't give me their names. Don't like that. Clients are trying to keep their business private. Sure. >> Um, so, so your first client, which have been probably earliest in the day, I would assume. >> Um, >> what did that person is this male or female? >> They were all female. >> All female. So, what did that person want? anything different that they specified or asked for >> the body bliss. It was just a sugar scrub massage. So, the client is um normally nude [sighs] um as um while you're disroing. I believe the first client was on top of the towel. So, there was just a blanket to work with draping wise. Do undo the drape down to their uh back. Work on their back. Hot dog style on their leg. Work their leg. Same thing for the other leg. Flip them over. Hot dog style leg to leg. >> So then person number two, another female. I think number two had um I don't know if it was like a traumatic day or something like that. Um but I remember her being a bit emotional before her uh session and um said that yeah she was going through something traumatic and wanted um to feel better but still wanted a full body massage. and I believe her saying the shoulders and upper back. >> So I assume you did all that everything she asked for. >> Mhm. Mhm. >> And she left satisfied. >> Yeah. >> Any any issues there? >> No. I normally uh after each session, I normally walk the client uh to the front of the spa or at least halfway >> to the spa. If I don't have a client immediately right after and, you know, review everything that we went over and ask them how they, you know, are doing, if they're comfortable, they feel all right, I check in with them halfway through the massage, ask them if they're doing okay, and, you know, normally get the thumbs up to continue, you know. So it's um every client was satisfied. >> Okay. So then number three, what's going on with number three? Um >> same uh same drip style, same um same massage, >> right? >> No focus on anything. >> Um I I normally just, you know, palpate the body like >> and then on to number four. She asked for anything different or any focus anywhere? No, these were all standard like uh deep tissue. I mean like each one is different like >> and the only one you felt number two was having some sort of traumatic day >> in the in the pre um speech and she was emotional because she was [snorts] telling me that she was going through something traumatic before we began the session. Yeah. >> Okay. Did you talk to her at all or is it kind of like a like turn into a little counseling session for a minute at all or anything like that or >> No, I just I told her I was I told her I was there for her. Just I didn't do too much to console her. I just, you know, did the massage and hopefully she left feeling better. Um, she said that uh she said that she was feeling better and she whooped again for the 27th, I believe. So, >> Oh, okay. >> Yeah. Must have done something right there then, huh? >> I mean, it seemed it seemed okay, you know, until I see you guys. So, I'm like, >> does every massage start with them um face down? >> Yeah. So, that's typical procedure. >> Mhm. All right. I'm going to start again. >> And all four of these massages that day um were all of them completely nude. >> Well, sometimes they wear uh thongs. I mean like it all depends on whatever the client is uh comfortable with uh >> as far as this roman. So I think um I think one of them had on um a thumb. >> Okay. Do you know which one that was? >> I think that was number either two or three. >> Okay. She has something else going on. I mean another appointment somewhere in the building. >> She didn't say that she didn't. She was just uh going to get dressed again. >> So, number three rushed out in a robe. Number four [clears throat] went to the restroom and not rushed out. It was just at the end of the uh session instead of being dressed in her street clothes. Um her street clothes were in the changing area. Um she was in the same robe that I met her in when coming out tranquility room to walk back to the changing area. But I had a fourth client. So I didn't walk her all the way to the front. Okay. Like back back to the area that we met. >> So she was doing some other facial or some other service in the building was in a robe and then came to you. >> Yeah. Yeah. So she had a session. Very good. >> So So the complaint we got is some inappropriate touching um done during one of these massages. Okay. >> Um and I'm sure you know which one we're talking about already. just as soon as I say that. And that that's fine. That's that's no big deal. We'll get to that. Okay. Um but you know, like I said, this has been a few days now and and because of that, I mean, we have been doing our homework and looking into this and and doing the best we can to take care of this for everybody involved. Right. >> Mhm. >> So, it sounds like at at your other place in Beachwood that that you might have made a mistake out there and I mean that led you to here, right? Yeah, I just I'm uh I don't know. I think maybe massage styles are different on the West Coast than they are in the Midwest. That's the most I can assume right now because >> I'm just saying like out of over 150 plus massages, you know. I haven't really gotten complaints until I um recently, you know, so that's that's why I'm uh just kind of surprised. >> So, what's the what's the style difference between West Coast and out here? No, I just feel like they [clears throat] have >> So, number two, the peacock lady with the the bad day. I think we're talking about the same person here. I mean, that's that's kind of what I'm gathering here. >> That's the person who did the complaint. >> I don't know. I'm thinking it is. I I'm not not 100% sure cuz we haven't thrown out any names, right? >> Okay. >> Um, do you know the names of all four of those clients? >> No, I I remember the name of the peacock lady. >> I mean, that's something special. Magic fingers. That just >> No, that's a comment that she said. Just a >> random thing that >> that she said that was my first time meeting him, man. >> And you took it as a mean what? >> Massage. >> I don't know, man. I think maybe maybe I think I'd take it to mean you'd fix whatever she got going on. Maybe it help her relax. I don't know. So, so the complaint is that that her breasts were exposed. >> Um, at at some point in time that that your mouth came into contact with her nipple. Um, and then at another point in time that that your fingers came into contact with her vagina. >> Yeah. Yeah. I mean, we just we did the massage and u if >> Well, did she ask you to put your lips on her nipple? >> Uh, no. No, you just did it. >> I mean, no, I was I was just like um leaning and and doing other things. >> Okay. So, I don't understand how your mouth comes into contact with it then. I mean, if it's I mean, we're both guys, you know. I mean, I I understand the the urge and and what happens. I mean, did it just overcome you and >> just couldn't help yourself? her feet. So, >> you put your finger inside of her though. >> I mean, what happened there? >> Your finger was inside of her. I know this. Just tell me what happened. Just tell me why it happened. >> Right. >> I'm telling you. >> I mean, yeah. Yeah. Sort of. Sort of. But your hand just brushed up against it. I mean, I think you had a big urge and you just couldn't help yourself. Is that what happened? you know, I didn't I didn't expose myself to her. I didn't, you know, insert my, you know, body parts into her or anything like that. Um, >> you know, >> your finger you did. You put your finger inside of her. Trust me. I mean, I've heard it all. I mean, I'm a guy, you know what I mean? I understand how it works, but I'm just trying to understand for you, that's all. I mean, how is it that you want to be perceived? Do you want to be perceived like that? >> That that you're some animal out there that every woman that's around you needs to be afraid of. I mean, cuz I don't think so. I mean, I want to be able to tell him that that yeah, he's a hardworking dude that made a mistake. But I can't. >> You know why I can't? I can't because of you, right? You're not you're not helping me with that. >> I'm I'm trying to help, man. you know, but I just >> and tell the truth >> off of, you know, off of what that paper says. I'm just not comfortable answering those types of questions. I can answer, you know, >> so you want to tell me everything but the truth. No, I'm just You gave me a right to answer questions and a right to refuse to answer questions. And I just am not comfortable talking about um uh complaints where a woman was confused about whether I did something to her or not because then that insecure about who I am. >> She's not She's not confused by therapy. >> She's not confused. She's not confused. >> Right. >> She was confused of why me? >> That's what I'm saying. I'm like, "What are you talking about?" >> She's not confused about what happened. I mean, I mean, you put your mouth on her nipples and you put your fingers in her, you know? >> Yeah. >> And maybe you are this bad guy that everybody else thinks you are, >> right? >> Well, I mean, what am I supposed to go tell him? >> I don't know. >> Right. Exactly. Exactly. I mean, I'm going to go tell him, "Yep, you're right. Kyle's a [ __ ] animal. Kyle's an animal that's that's going to take advantage of every woman that walks in there. >> That's not true. >> Right. I know it's not true, but what am I supposed to say? Right. >> Um >> I mean, if you can't be honest with me, what am I supposed to say? >> Yeah. I'm sure I'm sure it's not about her. I'm sure it's about a naked woman right in front of you that you're rubbing on and and there's there's a woman's right there in front of you and you have to touch it. I mean, you're a guy. Guys have urges. I I get it, right? >> I mean, is that what it is while I'm doing this? >> I'm professional, you know? I'm professional. >> You're professional. >> Yeah. >> Carn was charged with sexual battery and three counts of gross sexual imposition. A second victim presented themselves after news of his arrest, alleging the same behavior on the very same day. Carthans requested to represent himself. A competency hearing was ordered and Carthans was transported to North Coast Behavioral
