on December 31st 2022 police advised
they were in pursuit of a stolen black
vehicle possibly armed in fondak
Wisconsin during the pursuit the
suspect's vehicle abruptly pulled over
and two occupants exited the vehicle a
female and male were taken into custody
while the vehicle continued to flee
dispatch stated the area the vehicle was
last seen and believed the operator was
30-year-old Derek triplet Jr moments
later a Fondulac County Sheriff's deputy
observed a vehicle matching the
description of the suspect traveling at
a high rate of speed when the deputy

over briefly but then continued on

well he was going to and then we just
threw him right to the
ground that happened over there cuz he
when he went off the curb and then he
went Airborne like when he hit that next
curb and car parts were flying yeah did
he come at you when he came out of here

coming to a stop when I when I was
pulling up he was B through this he was
coming through the lawn com through the
lawn so and I was and I was behind the
trooper and when I saw that I was coming
to a stop to figure out which way he was
going to go and he basically come right
so he had no techniques from no

transported to a local hospital and were
released with minor injuries the pursuit
lasted roughly 5 miles the squad car
involved in the crash sustained heavy
damage and it was estimated the speeds
were up to 50 to 60 MPH upon
impact Derek was charged with felony
counts of first deegree recklessly
endangering safety operating vehicle
without consent time two second offense
vehicle fleeing eluding an officer time
two and fleeing alluding an officer
causing injury and property damage
misdemeanor counts of bail jumping and
operating while revoked all charges
including felonies were as a repeater
and he also had an active probation
warrant prior to the chase his cash Bond
