Late at night, a woman went to pick up her intoxicated boyfriend to take him home, but he refused to get in the car and threw objects at the vehicle, damaging the side mirror, the rim, and the rear. Someone called the police. >> Hi, dear. What's going on tonight? >> I'm trying to get my boyfriend in inside the car, but obviously he's not trying to get inside my car. >> I'm trying to make sure he make it home safe, and he's not listening to me. He's walking back that way. >> Who's calling? >> We didn't call. He's right down the street on me. >> He's right down there and throwing stuff at my car while I'm trying to get him in the car. So that make it seem like he was throwing [ __ ] at my car. So it's probably a neighbor or something in that car cuz I was trying to still get in my car. Even though he was throwing stuff in my car, I was trying to get him inside the car. >> Do you guys have an ID on you? >> No, I don't. >> Get your information. Well, they're going to go talk with him. Somebody's calling saying it might even be him saying that you guys are harassing them or something. >> Oh, so somebody called and said we harassing him >> literally. But I'm trying to get him in the car because obviously I came to pick him up from somewhere. He had too many drinks and like Yeah. >> What's going on, bud? What's going on with that girl in the car? You want to stop walking? >> Hold up, man. >> What did you call? >> Bingo. >> What? He already lit. >> So your boyfriend was he went out to a bar or something? >> Yes. Went out to the bar. I literally just came and picked him up from that Taco Bell. If you can see, he got Taco Bell in his hand. And he was tripping the whole I don't know what was wrong with him. He was just tripping. So I tried to drop him off. He hopped on my car. Literally open to my door. I stopped cuz obviously I don't want my door to get messed up. He hopped out my car. If he can see my mirror, he just broke my mirror. My mirror. >> Still trying to make sure he's okay. >> Well, I mean, at the end of the day, it sounds like uh he's not good for you. >> I I see. See, >> I would. And you know, we hear we deal with this type of stuff all the time, but >> but like when you got left with somebody, you trying to make sure they actually cool. just like >> I understand >> it's it's not worth it but it's worth it. I'm trying to make sure he get home safe safely. >> I know where you're at and where you're >> he stay all the way on will be >> but at the end of the day are you going to just let him drag you down into the >> No stuff too. >> No, you're right, sir. >> If we're involved and I don't know the history between you guys, but if this is the first contact, it's usually not the last. >> You're right. >> My advice to you is just cut ties now. Let it be what it is and I see find somebody better for you. >> I see. Because this is outrageous. I'm not even going to lie. This is crazy. I'm still with him after he didn't >> my mirror. I got to go get my mirror fixed. Literally >> not even that. Came in my tires. If you can see my rim is messed up. He came and messed up my rim too. All of that. Kicking my car. Came through my mom's drive-thru. I parked my mom's drive-thru just so he couldn't do it. If you can see, it's damaging my back. >> So, what happened? >> Nothing. >> Obviously, something happened cuz we're here. So, can we just skip all the nonsense and move forward? >> Nah, y'all here for no reason. They call me. >> You got an ID on you? >> I'm about to tell you. They called me back. They said, "Do you need us?" I said, "No, I'm good." That's exactly what we said. >> So, I here for no reason. I'm >> You got an ID on you. >> For what? >> Cuz I'm asking for what? >> I didn't do no I didn't do nothing at home. >> Yep. So, I'm going to write down your name, saying that you're good and you don't need us and we're not out. >> I said I didn't need y'all over the phone. >> I thought you said you didn't call. >> I never said I didn't call. >> It's getting weird. >> I mean, at what point does it stop becoming property and start becoming you? That's that's what I'm getting. >> You're right. >> And that's the last thing we want to see. >> Yeah. And I see it is you right. It's not really worth it, but it's so hard not to try to care care about somebody. >> Mhm. >> I don't know how to explain it. >> I I had next wife kind of in the same boat. >> Yeah. I don't know how. >> It's not getting weird. I said I did. I never said I didn't call. >> I mean, we got cameras on already. >> You don't need my name. My name. >> I do though. >> No, you don't. I did. I >> So, you're part of >> I'm not committing no crime or nothing. I'm walking. I I said that's not them. No, I just don't have to. >> I don't got to give you my >> Okay. You said I'm not doing that. >> You weren't detained. >> You can't detain me. So, you cannot leave. >> We can't until we find out what's going on. Let's find out what's going on. Yes, you can. It's called investigator stop. >> No, you need pain. It's something else, bro. I forgot, bro. I I've been watching this. >> I already No, I've been watching it. You cannot detain me for no reason. I didn't commit a crime. You The only reason you could detain me is if you suspect me of committing a crime. I never committed a crime or anything. I'm part of >> you as I just told. Do you believe me or not? That's what it is. >> You know, you can't stop me and tell me to be off my ID, bro. You know you can't do that. Yeah, it's your law, bro. I've been watching all I've been watching that. >> Okay. >> Not your badge number. >> Ask me where. >> Name your badge number. What's your name? That's not the name. That's the number. >> I'll give you the number with everybody on this call attached to it. >> Can I get one? >> Sure. Can I get yours? >> Better give you 1506. If >> you want everybody's name and number, right? I'll give you the number and everybody's attached. >> I'm not doing nothing wrong. I'm not doing nothing wrong with walking down the street. I told y'all they don't have nothing to do with nothing. It was somebody else. I don't know. They went that way. >> You already said it was. You said it was. Never a day in my life said it was death. I never did. >> You said you didn't know him. >> And I was just on the phone with him. They called me and said, "Do you need us?" I said, "No, I'm good. They gone." >> You said you didn't know him, but you said you just know him. It makes no sense. >> You're It's You're not coming back. We need to We need to find your information in order to continue on. >> So, what's going on? Do you Do you not know your social? >> No, I don't know about her. I just >> Dude, do you got warrants? Is that why it's not coming back? >> No. >> We can't find anyone remotely close to that social. Are you from Ohio? >> I say Park Packard. I just moved here. >> Give me the numbers. >> I don't remember the numbers. I'm not going to lie. I say 22, but I don't know where I put my name. Pop like your Monet. >> Okay. Monet. That's what I asked you and you said no. >> No, I said it is. I said there's two of them. >> Okay. See, the first one's not coming up. But you guys are good to go. We're just going to deal with him. >> Is he okay? Hey, I want to make sure you get home safe. >> Leave him alone. >> I'm sorry. I got to make sure >> he'll be somewhere, but I'm not sure what they're not giving us the right name. >> Are you okay? >> No. Yeah, I got to pee. I'm about to pee outside the car. Go. Okay. >> He got his phone. >> Yeah, he's got his phone. >> I'm about to call him. >> Not now. We're still dealing with him. So, but you guys aren't needed because we're all good with him. We're we're we're going to make sure he's safe tonight. Okay. >> Please can you guys make sure you make home safe? Yep. We will. >> Thank you. >> All right. You too. >> What you talking about? >> Exactly what you said. >> No, he just said that. I knew them. >> He said, "Do you know them?" You said no. We said, "How do you know him?" You said, "You just know him." That's exactly what you said. >> All right. They ain't do nothing to me. >> So, you're lying. >> They ain't a So, it's >> We don't need to be here, then we're going to leave. That's it. >> I don't need my name or nothing. >> No, I don't need to be here. This is I'm the one that car, right? I'm I'm call >> Yeah, I'm the one that car. I mean, [ __ ] I What? What's the call? I'm the one I called. That's the number. 416. 418. They call me back. >> I'm not mad. I just said I'm good. I told them I was good. >> 30 40 seconds. You got it. >> I just told I'm not I'm ain't no reason for me and this oil you off your butt, bro. >> [ __ ] did I do though? Then I said no. I'm good. Like damn, bro. Like this how this unnecessary bro. >> Dude, you called us and you're mad so many of us showed up here to help you. Now if one of us showed up, you'd be pissed because only one of us showed up to help. cuz I told him I told her on the phone I was good. >> But we have no clue what was going on. That's why all of us came here to help you. >> I told her I was good. >> Did she come to help you? >> Did she read the yard to say that I was okay? >> No, there wasn't enough time for that. No, >> I don't want enough time for that. She just called. >> She showed up within like 30 seconds of you calling. >> 30 seconds. >> I don't know how fast you think communication is, but it's not that fast. We've been out here for at least 5 minutes. So, it's when you call now. We just seen the date was we just seen the time it was 4:18 a.m. >> Well, now it's not 4:18. We've been talking. >> I know. I'm saying that's what I call at 4:18 a.m. >> What time is it now? >> 429. >> 4:29. Told him 5 minutes ago I was okay. >> Right. So, there ain't no reason for me to be detained. I'm detained because I called to make a complaint and I don't and it's cool. >> Makes sense. >> You said you didn't call. Then you said you didn't know them. Then you said you do know them. >> I never said I didn't call. I never said that being a car. >> All right, look. I'm not going to keep going argue with you. Just stop talking for like 30 seconds. We'll be out of here. We have to talk to them. Find out what's going on. >> Well, I got to stop talking. I'm allowed to keep talking. >> You trying to argue? >> I'm not trying to argue. I said what I said, bro. That's it. That's all. I said I was okay when they called my phone back. I said I was good. Like it ain't no detail. >> We find out what's going on. >> For what? >> I just told you. >> That's the answer to your question. >> So me calling y'all and I told y'all back. I said I needed help. I said somebody was following me. this [ __ ] knowing all right and they called me back now me back and I said I was okay I'm good I don't need y'all so y'all pull up and then detain me and I already told the dispatcher I was okay so y'all detain me make sense I'm saying how do that make sense though you detain me I'm the one that caught the police dog it's the damn I ain't no wait I called to make a complaint now I'm being detained like >> I never heard of that in years all this because I'm the one I call to make a complain >> that your All right. He looked right at you when you said it. I can't tell though. He threw up there. >> [ __ ] >> I don't have to tell. I know. I'm just I'm not even claiming the reason for y'all to to detain me. >> Only reason y'all to detain me is y'all suspect me committing a crime. >> That's it. Sir, >> I didn't commit no crime. I'm allowed walking down the street. >> I'm about to do all this. I didn't do nothing wrong. >> Right now, you're on the property for public business. So, >> I mean, [ __ ] I was over here. Y'all pressuring me. Like I'm scared for my life. Look at Look at all y'all. >> I don't have What you mean? Look. Look at all y'all. >> Don't be scared. You're the only person. >> That's like 15 guns to none over here. Like what you talking about? >> No, you're the only person raising your voice. >> I'm not raising my voice. I shouldn't be detained at all. >> So, she's telling us that you're drunk and she wants to take you home because she's a drunk woman, right? Is that true? Yes or no? I'm just asking. >> Ain't no way. >> We got to identify who you are. You don't have warrants and I don't give a [ __ ] what you do after this to be honest. You know what I mean? >> There's really no reason. There's really no reason for you to be running my name. >> Okay. Again, I'm just telling you what we're doing. >> For what? >> Tell me why am I being detained? >> I'm I just told you >> why. Cuz >> I'm telling you. >> Because what? Because she says she want to take me home. >> She's saying she's saying that you're intoxicated, right? And she want to take you home, right? >> So I'm detained for that. She want to take you home? >> You're detained because you're on private property. I'm not all private park. This a private This a public sidewalk. >> That's exactly >> This a public sidewalk. I'm right here. This a public sidewalk. >> Even go about our business. >> It's a public sidewalk. >> It was standing right there. >> What you mean? >> You're standing under >> I backed up because look at y'all. Look, bro. I'm Can you all back up on me? Can y'all back up? >> Like I'm I'm scared for my life. Look, bro. Y'all is so close to me. Like what the [ __ ] >> Like 15 ft from you. >> You're not 15 ft. Don't say that. Walk 15 steps. >> Be too close to you. You scared of me being close to >> cuz you That's lie. >> You just said we too close. You scared. >> I'm getting He just saying some [ __ ] >> That's crazy. He just said some [ __ ] I'm trespassing. Let me get this out. >> Like I backed up because I'm scared for my life. That's why I backed up. >> Look at all these friends acting weird, man. Relax. >> I'm not acting weird, bro. There's no reason for It's not. You are. >> It's not. There's no reason for y'all to detain me, bro. >> Let me explain a couple things to you. >> Nothing wrong. >> One, you just my lawyer on the ground. That's both of those are criminal. >> All right, go ahead. >> All right, my lawyer going to eat it up there. [ __ ] it. >> You want to be petty, bro? You want to just say anything cuz you know your dead ass for detaining me, bro. >> Explain this to you cuz you keep saying you didn't do anything >> cuz I'm detained for no reason. There's no reason for me to be detained. No reason. >> There's no reason for you to detain me. I didn't commit no crime. >> You just committed two crimes. >> I didn't. >> One you littered and two you spit. You're both criminal. >> I picked this up. All right. I'm allowed to spit. >> You are not. >> Says who? law. >> Yes. >> Well, I can't spit on concrete. >> Find it for you. >> Yeah, find it for you. Got you. >> Enlighten me. Teach me something you right now, my boy. >> Yeah, I appreciate it. >> Hold on one second. >> I'm going need to educate you, too. For you wrongfully detaining me. >> I got you. >> I'm trespassing. I'm scared as [ __ ] of y'all. [ __ ] Hell yeah. [ __ ] >> Yeah, you call us. >> Look, I'm scared. I'm scared. All right. I called y'all. I didn't call for all of y'all. I called y'all and I said, "No, I'm good." They called me back and I said, "I'm cool." There shouldn't be no reason for y'all to be here right now. >> Period. They called me back and I said I was good. I don't need nobody. I'm all right. Period. I said I was all right. Look at this [ __ ] This [ __ ] you said I'm on private property here for my life. It's too many. You're the only person who's ever gotten upset that too many people responded to him. N I'm not upset. No hell. He's upset that tried to detain me and said I couldn't go nowhere for sure. That's why I'm upset. Soon as I try to walk away, what you going to do? Arrest me? I have an answer? >> Find out for just a second. >> I'm saying no. If I walk away right now, like, is y'all going to arrest me? Come on, bro. I ain't No, that [ __ ] beyond me. Come on, man. What? >> All right. Sorry. I thought you had to hang out while we figured out what was going on cuz we're getting mixed for us. Appreciate you being so cooperative. You have a good time. >> What? No. I ain't just detain you for no reason. >> Yeah. >> Said I got that on camera. Don't walk up on me. Hands up. No, don't touch me, please. I'm scared. [ __ ] up on me. I'm scared. Why are you [ __ ] up on me? I'm trying to leave. >> I'm allowed to leave. I'm not acting like a child. You [ __ ] up on me. My hands up. >> What are you walking up on me for? >> Go away. >> There's no reason for me. >> Charge you with criminal trespass on fire property. >> Don't shoot me. I ain't no [ __ ] [ __ ] >> [ __ ] >> All right. So, what if somebody shoot your [ __ ] kids? [ __ ] you. Some type way. >> Talking about your way. Lame ass [ __ ] >> You're about to get arrested, dude. I'm telling you. You asked me a question and now you don't want to hear the answer. You >> walked up on me. You ain't have to walk a phone. >> You better walk, dude. >> You ain't got to follow me either. Y'all ain't got to walk up. >> Watch your step. >> None of that. >> I don't even watch mine. You need to watch yours. >> Losers. >> [ __ ] [ __ ] What's wrong with y'all, bro? Like, y'all want to walk up on you for what? >> Oh, cuz I'm a black male. >> Yeah, that's what it is. >> You better lower your voice. You're going to be arrested for >> just think he's about to get 13. I'm not yelling. >> You're deserving. Just go. >> You're throwing trash. >> Just go. >> You're free to leave. Have a nice night. >> I just want the free to leave. Have a nice night. >> You're free to leave. Have a nice night. >> I just want numbers. >> Just go. >> I just want names and bad numbers. How How hard is that? >> That's a problem for me asking if everybody talks to you. >> All right. Come on. Let me talk to you then. You must be the sergeant. >> Supervisor. All right. So, you're not charge supervisor. I'm not doing nothing wrong. >> You are. This is public. I'm trying to scream. >> I'm not littering. I'm not yelling. When you smoking a body camera, you're yelling. >> Okay, >> you're done. We have 10 cameras out here. >> Okay. >> Then I'll call you screaming at 4 in the morning and throwing trash on the ground. No reason for you. >> We're done. >> Have a good night. >> Just go home. >> What do you want to talk about? >> What you mean? What I want to talk about? >> What do you want to talk about? >> Why did you just detain it to call? >> Okay. Do you want to hear why we detain you? >> Do you want to hear? Well, then why are you even complaining if I'm trying to explain to you the answer? >> You walked up on me like he was beating back like he was going to do something to me. Bro, don't do that. >> You trying to explain to me I ain't no kid. >> Okay. Well, you're acting like one. >> You're acting like a shot. >> So he can walk up on me when he want to and feel like you being detained cuz you keep asking. >> What if I do that to him? What's going to happen to me? >> Well, you going to stop talking to listen? >> You tell him to back up. And I told him to back up, right? >> Because you weren't listening. >> No. Yes, I was. Back up. Get out of my face. >> Oh, man. Bro, you're arguing with us about why we're doing something. >> I'm not trying to explain to you the reason. >> All right, you can talk to me from this info. I don't even got to do that, bro. I didn't >> I didn't even do [ __ ] >> He told you to stop yelling. >> I wasn't told you to walk. >> I stopped yelling. >> I stopped yelling. I definitely stopped yelling. >> I stopped yelling. I stopped yelling. >> Come on, I stopped yelling. >> Bro, I just wanted to talk to the supervisor. That's it. And I stopped. I weren't even yelling. >> You're under arrest. >> For what? >> No, I I as you were just watching >> I'm under arrest for what? >> The reason we detain you is cuz >> essentially she was We had to figure out whether or not it was a DV. I know that, but I don't know that until I asked you and >> I'm going to jail for actually. >> That's why you're detained. >> But I I wasn't yelling though. >> Okay. That's why you're detained at the beginning of it though. She's saying one thing and then she didn't tell us who you were and you weren't telling. >> I'm the one that closed door. >> Okay. I understand that. But like sometimes the people that call also the ones that started the whole thing which again we don't know that. Does that make sense? >> I just Yeah, I understand. All I did was just walk away. All I did was drop the car and I left. >> Okay. Like I said, but when we're talking to her and she's lying to us too, saying things like I don't know and you're not telling us who you are. >> You can still hear. Does that make sense? >> Yeah, man. I make >> traffic. >> Oh, okay. >> No way. Little X. >> It's right there in the in the way, man. >> Turn that off. I'll go somewhere else. >> Yep. >> Is that for him? >> We're all the way up there. >> You want your car or what? >> It don't matter. He said his anger management feels. He said anger management. Oh man. What the hell? A squirrel. He said them his management fields. That's his anger management PS too. >> The only warning I saw on the computer was de You have anything on you they missed? For my people, I got to search you as well. Okay, man. I know they just searched you, but I got to search you as well. Watch your head, man. >> What an exact brand. >> Oh, so like you just keep it in a bag, not like a pill jar. >> So, if I go test that, it's going to test for anger management pill for >> I don't know what anger management pills test. >> It's probably going to test for ecstasy. Well, it's like So, I'd rather you be honest with me and then I don't have to test it. You know what I mean? If I test it and it's something else, it's a bigger deal. You know what I mean? Does that make sense? Or accuracy. >> I'm going to shut this. All right. What's your name? >> My uh freedom of speech. You talking about I couldn't speak. I swear to God, bro. I'm about to sue y'all. Late at night, a woman went to pick up her intoxicated boyfriend, but he refused to get in the car and threw objects at the vehicle, damaging the side mirror and the wheel rim. After neighbors called the police, officers arrived, separated the parties, verified identities, and assessed whether domestic violence or public safety risks were involved. Due to intoxication and refusal to cooperate, inconsistent accounts, and disputes over police authority, the situation escalated from assisting with getting home to enforcement action, and the man was taken way.
