You don't need to go to the hospital, right? No, I just needed an asthma team on standby cuz I I I ain't know if I was about to pass out or not yet. How much you been drinking tonight? How much you been drinking? I got asthma. I know, but I can smell alcohol coming through. That's not from asthma. That's from drinking. I wasn't drinking. You weren't drinking? Oh, okay. Uh, he wants to talk to the chief. Yep. That's you. Okay. So, my name is Sergeant Derek Sergeant. Okay. So, my name is Sergeant Derek Sergeant. I'm his supervisor tonight. All right. Okay. I I didn't know that it was the police until after I actually stomped on a I didn't know exactly who it was. Okay. Lights was on. I seen a dark a dark vehicle and I stomped on the gas. I know it's the rhyming season right now, right? That that's her. I understand. I know it's the rhyming season. I I I starting on the gas and I pulled off for real. Okay. Soon as I pulled off, then he turned on his lights and let me know that let me know that was the uh police for real. Like I'm Okay. Okay. So then what happened? So you realized it was police and then what did you do? I spent the block and pulled over. Okay, I hopped out the vehicle. I actually did did actually start. Look, like I'm I'm not trying to run from nothing. I literally just came home. I just came home from from being Baltimore City Detention Center. Okay. I just came home. So, you're incarcerated for a little bit. I I don't have no charges pending. I don't have nothing. Are you on parole or probation or anything? I'm on probation. Okay. Okay. So then was there a foot chase or something? Did you run it? As soon as I hopped out the As soon as I hopped out the vehicle for real, I I just didn't want to get shot. For real. I know the stories that been going on on on the uh Okay. Well, we haven't shot anybody recently or anything. Um so, and where were you earlier tonight? Were you out and about having fun or what? My family, we on the ball on 2213 Kirk Avenue. Okay. City Escapes. Okay. And so you were there? Yes. Do you have anything to drink or anything? Not really for real, but yes, but not really. Okay. Cuz I feel like I'm smelling alcohol. Did you Officer Rosen Blue? Do you smell alcohol? Yeah. Okay. All right. Okay. So that can affect your decision sometimes, right? Okay. I just I just knew that it it was dark colors and soon as I pulled off I seen the lights so I knew to pull over. So I spent the bend so I know for a fact that my car is actually safe. Mhm. I don't got nothing to worry about. So I'm going to be writing a report and I just need What was your date of birth? Yeah. I think he pissed on me a little bit. How much you been drinking, man? I ain't I ain't really been drinking for real. I'm actually just Okay. So you have like four people right here. Usually sometimes it's like well we'll faint and only me I can smell cuz I have a really fine amazing nose but everyone can smell. I'm just cold right now. That's all. When I'm cold doesn't make me smell like alcohol either. You know I actually just got finished doing a delivery. That's all. Okay. I'm going to ask you a question. Man, I'm going to ask you to follow the tip of this little pen thing with your eyes. Okay. You do that. Open your eyes. Follow with your eyes. Don't move your head. Okay. Put your feet in, man. Definitely going to jail. Not going to deny it. But you're going have to put your feet in. Do you have You know where your other shoe is? It's in my vehicle. I don't know. I don't know your vehicle. All right. No. What am I getting arrested for? Yeah. Cuz I'm definitely not drunk. I can do a street test. Okay. First of all, I tried to pull you over. You took off, then you ran for because you ain't have your You ain't have your You ain't have your police lights on until after I actually start running gas. Okay. I'm not going I'm not going to like I don't really care if you want to tell your story or not. I really don't care. You No, listen. Literally, that's the problem. For real. Like I I don't never get to tell my side of the story for real. Like you want to tell yourself you're just going to get yourself in trouble telling yourself the side of the story. I already know what happened cuz I have my eyes and I followed you and it's on camera, Mr. Jefferson. So, the story is I pressed on a gas then y'all turned on y'all lights and I knew that y'all was the police after y'all turned on y'all. Yeah. So, why didn't you stop? Where did that happen? That happened at a gas station like three blocks away. So, why didn't you stop? It actually happened right here. That's a lie. I didn't turn I didn't turn my lights over here. Where you taking? Uh, I'm going to take downtown first. Open it up. All right. So, do you have any Okay. All right. So, here's what we're going to have to do. Do me a favor, Williams. Get some paper towel from the bathroom. No, you're not taking my tooth. Okay. We're not taking your tooth. The problem is this. Okay. We're going to offer you a breath alcohol test. That denture there can hold alcohol in it, which could impact whether your test is fair to you. It could give you a higher reading than is accurate. So, you have to understand if you don't want to take it out, what we're going to do is I'm going to ask you to take it out for 20 minutes. We're going to give you a breath test and you can put it right back in. I'm not taking my tooth out. All right. So, I want to be clear on this so there's no confusion in court. I don't want to hear that my breath test is wrong because my tooth was holding some alcohol and I'm giving you the opportunity to take it out. You understand? I'm not taking my teeth off. Okay, not a problem. So, he's refusing to take it out. So you can go ahead and throw that out. We're going to go ahead and give you a breath test. Put it in. Take me in. Y'all going to keep my tooth. I'm not going for that. I'm not taking your tooth. In any event, fine. He wants to keep it in. That's his decision. Sit down. Y'all wasn't bring me down here, but I'm down here. Do you think I want your tooth? The last thing I care about is your tooth. Close the door. I mean, you peed right in front of me first. No windows right here. It No windows and nothing right here. For real. You peed right in front of me. They almost peed on top of me. So, you're obviously not embarrassed. Do you know the the people on that corner? You say what? Do you know the guys on that corner on Blue McCall? No, I do not. But I grew up around there, so I ain't nothing to get my car back. It's just it would be something if y'all would have grabbed my car and it would have been something to grab back. But why was in your car? Why would we take your car? Nothing. It It's just the the price. Oh, okay. I got a I got a 2012 Impala that's that's still sending the impound right now because y'all y'all took it on a on a illegal tape because somebody ran a red light on me. So, I'm I'm not doing none of that. Uh I So, soon as I get released, I'll just go get my car back. It ain't nothing. He's saying it's a cheaper way of impounding your car, basically. But this guy's going to joy ride and use your car for the next that's how he totals it. You have no clue, you know. Oh well.
