At one point, she even tries to bribe the deputies, then flips to bragging that her family runs Miami. And then the picture gets even clearer. A witness, including an off-duty firefighter who'd been following the Lexus, steps in and gives a detailed rundown of what he saw on the highway, swerving into oncoming lanes, stopping in traffic, even getting out of the car before jumping back in and taking off again. You got her back, yeah? Awesome. Um Okay, can you So, you called What did you see? Um I saw a car pulled up right here. It was uh the Lexus, and the guy came in one time saying she was freaking out. You know, maybe call the cops. I'm like, "Well, is there a crime being committed, or is she just upset?" And uh then I had several other customers come in and be like, "You have to call the cops, cuz she's freaking out." And when I went out, she was throwing things, screaming at various customers, throwing palm So, just explain to me what happened again from just like beginning. Okay. Um so, I looked at my rearview mirror, my side mirror, and I could see she was passing. She was three cars behind me going northbound. And at one time, she actually stopped, got out of the car, and is wearing a white dress, blonde, and the silver truck tried to grab her to get her to stop, and she got back in the car and took off. So, she she got out of the car to do what? What did you see her do? She was like she was going to hit another car with whatever she had in her hand. So, she had something in her hand and attempted to hit a car, but did not? >> Yes. Yeah, but she missed it, and then when she realized that the guy in the silver truck was going to come after her or whatever, she gets jumps back in her car and takes off. Okay. I mean, she's uh like I said, she was all over the road, and um at one point, when we got into Big Pine, everybody stopped. I saw that. Yeah. Back at the patrol car, deputies keep it procedural. They check Rodriguez for injuries, make sure she's properly restrained. At the same time, they start noting what they're seeing and hearing, the kind of observations that later get documented in a DUI investigation. But even as they try to calm things down, Rodriguez keeps talking rapidly and jumping from point to point. Deputies stay focused, begin working through the paperwork, and start putting together the arrest report that lays out everything that happened that night. He said medicine at school, a student.
