on October 28 2022 Dunn County sheriff's
deputies were advised of a hit-and-run
incident involving a vehicle rollover in
Knapp Wisconsin
dispatch notified deputies that the
suspect vehicle was a light blue BMW
with Illinois plates and was occupied by
a black male and female
as a deputy was in the area he observed
a vehicle with heavy front end damage
pass him and begin traveling at a high
rate of speed
Connor I got the vehicle eastbound
the suspect's vehicle began passing
others on the shoulder due to heavy
traffic the deputy didn't proceed
we've been in and out of traffic
here they're probably going to hit the
shoulder and up to the exit 52.

several other law enforcement agencies
pursued the vehicle but soon lost visual
of it
time for 250. last time I saw it there
was Heavy front end damage bumper flew
off all that
eventually it was stated that the two
suspects ditched the vehicle and fled on
foot into a wooded area
the driver was later identified as 27
year old Devonte little and the
passenger as 28 year old Marcella Benson

sounds like ones loaded in the ambulance

flew past us on the shoulder and then we
pursued them until we lost them around
this area Okay minutes later an Eau
Claire police officer observed the two
suspects run toward a building
once they recognize the officer they hid
behind a pair of dumpsters while an
employee of the business was on break

as the officer gave them commands

back here so they got possessions back

alongside the building but they must
