There's a little witchcraft over here. >> Come out somehow. >> What happened? >> I was in a black witchcraft store and I got knocked off by God cuz God don't want doesn't want me to be there. He knocked off my truck. >> Scraping the Hold on. >> You should have said anyway. It's my problem. Don't hold me. Don't hold me. Don't put your hands on me, girl. Don't put your hands on me. Why you stop going down? Okay. >> I'm going to speak to you. >> I don't give a what to tell me >> now. I want you to stand there. Okay. Put your left foot on the the line. Stop. I'm >> I know she's from Brazil. She doesn't have any family here from what I know. On July 14th, 2025, Florida deputies pulled over a vehicle driving erratically and missing its entire rear bumper. When asked about the damage, the driver offered a conflicting story about a recent incident and a promise of payment for repairs. While she insisted the damage was old, deputies discovered fresh debris, indicating a much more recent collision. >> Reason why I'm stopping you today, for one, is you are missing your back bumper. So, in the state of Florida, you're you're required to drive with a front bumper and a back bumper. >> Okay, no worries. Accidents happen. >> Look, listen. Just listen. Okay, listen. Accidents happen. I understand. But just know that is the reason for this stop. While I was driving behind you, you were unable to maintain your lane. You were kind of all over the road. Okay, >> you're dancing. I got you. Listen, we all like to have a good time. Write me your license, please. Thank you. Do you have the registration insurance of the vehicle? All right. I think we found your bumper. You left it at Wind Dixie. I think you might just left it behind. >> Yeah, I think it belongs to your car. Is it yours? Huh? What? You want to see it? We'll bring it over and then we'll see if it's yours. All right. >> Okay. Can you Can you exit the vehicle safely and tell me how this bumper situation happens? There's a little witchcraft store. There's a little witchcraft come out somehow. >> Okay. >> Can you go off into the sidewalk here? >> Oh, I'm going back to my car. I'm not going to the sidewalk. >> Why are you going to go back to your car? >> Why you want me in the sidewalk? I'm going to look. Look. You want me to sidewalk? I'm getting a lawyer. >> Okay. >> I want a present. I'm not going to the sidewalk. I don't know. You're not going to be in the sidewalk. >> Hello. >> I'm trying to know you. >> Hi. >> Okay. Here. >> Hello. Was there a child or just kid things? Just >> Yeah, >> I see. I see. Okay. Um, your bumper is missing. Do you know what happened to it? >> I do. >> What happened? >> I was in a black witchcraft store and I got knocked off by God cuz God don't want doesn't want me to be there. He knocked off my trunk cuz I I was in a witchcraft store. >> You was in a witchcraft store? >> Yeah. >> And who knocked off your trunk? >> I don't know something. I don't know. >> You said a dude. I have something. >> So, has it been missing prior to today or this just >> yesterday? >> Yesterday this happened. >> Mhm. I asked the guy yesterday. I don't want to be able to get >> So, he's going to pay to fix your car. >> Yes. >> Okay. This happened here or in Miami. You were in Fort Lauderdale. >> It was actually Fort Lauderdale, right? A day before. >> Did you get into any crashes today? Nothing today. Okay. >> Mommy, I don't crash. Unless someone crashed me, I don't know how many crash car crash. >> So, the person is the one that hit you that took off your bumper is what you're saying. >> I had a little loss. Yes. our head up. >> I got you. They probably observed her behavior and when they came out they saw the bumper missing and assumed she crashed. >> Yeah, I can call the RP and see >> because if they cuz they said they think is what I think the note said. So, I think they just saw her behavior and thought she crashed. I don't think they saw a crash is what the note saying. So, they were correct about their observations, but they if they didn't witness a crash, then it kind of goes with what she's confirming. So, if there's no if the RP can confirm there wasn't a crash, then I'm moving forward. >> Yeah. >> What's the first note in the call say? >> No, she hit the curb parking lot and her bumper fell off. >> Yeah. >> Is it wiping off? >> It's all coming off. It's all It's like You can get fragments of it. Look. >> So, she probably did hit something, but she didn't lose her bumper there. >> So, we won't find the bumper. >> Hey, missing. >> So, can I can I ask you to step out to look at your car because there's something else missing on the other side besides your bumper. Okay. Mommy, when my bumper comes off, I took off everything we got off. >> Tell me, what did you take off? >> When the bumper was coming off, I was about to go to the church. I'm a Mormon. I go to the church every Sunday. It doesn't look like, but I am a Mormon. >> What else did you take off? >> I took everything that was hanging on in here. >> But did you take off anything on the sides? >> No, I just take the bumper off. That's all that comes off. You guys charge me $200 a piece. I didn't have to take off the car. >> Did you have to take this off? >> No. >> On either side of the car? You didn't have to take it off on the other side either? No. Okay, come here for a second. So, it's missing from right here. >> The other side. >> And come here. Walk this way for me. There is some fresh marks. And then >> Oh, no. I hit the whole thing. I know what I did. What? I I hit the whole thing. >> Oh, wait. So, tell me. I didn't know what happened with this. What happened with this? >> I was getting to a store. Was something a bag like in the trailer hanging outside of the trailer and I hit that thing was outside of the trailer. >> When did this happen? >> Two days ago, probably. >> No, this is a lot fresher than that. This appeared to have just happened. This This was when this come off. And I went to the church on Sunday. This come off. >> But you just told me you only took off the bumper. >> But this was with that when that happened. >> Everything happened at one time. That's why the guy already pulled me on the doors and this and that. >> Hold on. But hold on. Cuz you told me you've never crashed into anyone. You told me. >> No, I didn't crash to anyone. It was a trailer. It was something hanging out out of the trailer. >> So something was hanging out of the trailer. >> It was something out of the trailer and it hit the whole thing. >> So how did you hit the side and the back of the >> Well, that thing was hanging out of the trailer. Hang on. Listen. Listen to my question. Okay. Tell me how did you hit it? What part of your car were you reversing? Were you driving? >> I was I was parking. >> You were parking front. You were pulling forward or you were reversing. Okay. So, if you were pulling forward, I could understand possibly scraping the side. Hold on. >> You shouldn't have said anyways. My crush is my problem. Don't hold me. Don't hold me. >> Don't put your hands on me, girl. Don't put your hands on me. Why you stop? >> Going down. Down. Get up. Okay, hold on. Somebody, one person get up. One person get up. >> Okay, I got this one right here. >> 722. >> I fully expected that to happen. >> You lost your mind. Get up. >> Yeah, I kind of expected that. Do you mind getting my glasses off? >> Let me talk to her. I'm >> roll your window. Roll your window. >> I'm going to speak to you. >> I don't give a what to tell me. >> It's it's it's it's Yeah, it's confirmed that there's a >> she entered the county without the bumper. >> No, we're not the >> But I'm just trying to make sure that we do a proper crash investigation if she actually did hit something. >> Come in with all the B. She hit a I'm good. I'm not responding to her. She Oh, >> so no, she good. Um, so it's just the curb that she hit. No vehicles. >> Okay. All right. It's fine. Okay. So, look, there's some damage on the side of your car that indicates that you might have hit a curb. Like you said, nobody called to say anything about it. There seems to be no property damage to anyone's vehicle. So, we'll make sure we handle that accordingly. Okay. Now as far as for our observations it appear that you are under the influence I am >> of an alcoholic beverage and or substance let me see let me see I am give me the exams >> so okay so that's my next question are you willing to do sobriety exercises for this you are not >> can you get me out of this go >> do you understand that if you do not perform these exercises this can still be used against you >> okay so are you willing to come out of the car and do the exercises >> can you get me out of this please >> I can get you out of the car but I'm only going to do that if you're agreeing to do the exercises okay there is Okay. Want me to lose my career? What do you want me to do? Listen to me. >> Okay. >> Yeah. Okay. >> During these exercises, you're not going to be restrained, detained, any of that. Okay. I need you to focus. I don't want any running. I don't want any fighting. I don't want any kicking. Do you understand me? If you do, that's just an example of what's going to happen. I'm not playing games. This is not why I'm here. You understand this? Do you have a brain injury? You do. Okay. What's wrong with you? Tell me. I hit my head when I was a baby. >> Oh, me too. >> I had a herniated disc on my back. So, I have planned. I have a big scar. I have it to over. So, I'm not walk evenly ever because I have I have a disc replacement. I have reports on my phone if you want to see. >> You could you could walk, right? >> I can't, but I I lose balance all the time. >> Okay. Well, let me know when >> that's not to do with being strawber or not. That's like >> Well, let me know whenever you feel like you're falling. One of these two guys will make sure that you do not hit the ground. >> That's why I have a handicap, guys. Not because I'm cute. because I I do have a problem. >> I got you. So, put your feet together, hands to your side. Okay. I'm going to go ahead and and check your eyes. Okay. You see the light? >> Okay. You're going to follow this light with your eyes and your eyes only. Right there. Okay. You're moving your head. >> Last one. I did move a little bit. Last one. I I could help. I'm sorry. >> Just get back on track. >> I had a minute. >> Look at me. Look at me. >> On my computer. I had a minute. Put your hands to your side. Look at me. Is it okay if I touch your chin? Right here. Don't move it. Okay. Right here. The only thing you're going to move is your eyes. You understand? Right there. Okay. All right. Let me walk and stand at the tip of this red line. Now, now I want you to stand there. Okay. Put your left foot on the the line. Stop. I'm ready for the instructions now. Okay. Come back to the top. All right. So, put your left foot on the line, right foot in front, heel to toe, hands by your side. I'm going to go ahead and give you some instructions, but I want you to maintain that position for me. Okay. >> I have issue balance because my handicap. Okay. >> Okay. So, >> I can move fast forward >> jumping but not standing. >> Okay. So, >> the issue I have in my back. >> So, because of the issue you have in your back, I'm going to allow you to go ahead relax. And I say you may begin. You're going to take nine >> You're going to take nine heel to toe steps. >> That's like this. I'm going to show you from here on out. Don't move until I say you may begin. Those are those are the magic words right now. Stay where you are. Okay? When I say those words, you're going to take nine heel to toe steps. You're going to count out loud and you're going to look at your toe. Look at your front foot. Okay? If you step off the line at any point, I want you to step back on the line and continue the exercise until it has been completed. Okay? >> You did that way or you didn't do that way. So, >> okay. Well, I'm I'm not going to put myself in a position. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 is it ended before the line. So what do you want me to do? So, let me know if at any point >> Fair cuz I have back. >> This guy's not going to he's not going to let you fall. But if we notice that you're falling, I'm going to end the exercise. Are you willing to at least try it? >> Yes, of course. I can try. >> So, it's going to look like this. This is how you're going to start. Whichever leg you choose, 1 100 2 100 3 100. You do that until I tell you to stop. If you drop it, pick it back up. >> I'm okay. Your hands your hands are going to be at your side. Okay? So, put your feet together, hands to your side, and I'll let you know when you can begin. You may begin. Okay. You may you may drop your leg. Okay. Listen, you have a some bleeding here. I know exactly who's paying you this to me. >> I'm going to read you I'm going to read you something. Okay. Stop me if you don't understand. Okay. Can you hear me, Ty? >> I'm not that. >> Okay. All right. Yeah. Okay. So, you have the right to Okay. First of all, before we ask you any questions, you must understand your rights. Okay? You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in court. You have >> I know that before. Don't worry. >> You have the right to talk to a lawyer for advice before we ask you any questions. >> Yes, I'm not talking to you. Don't worry. >> You have a right to have a lawyer with you during questioning. >> No, I'll do anything. >> If you can afford a lawyer, one will be appointed for you before any question. And if you wish, >> I can definitely afford a lawyer. If you decide to answer questions now without a lawyer present, you have the right to stop answering at any time. >> I'm not even starting. >> Do you understand each of these rights I've explained to you? >> I absolutely do. Back in order. I'm a lawyer. >> With these rights in mind, do you wish to talk to me now? >> I am a lawyer. >> With these rights in mind, do you wish to talk to me now? >> No. >> Okay. >> Okay. I'll tell I'll say this. Okay. I have questions about a child. Are you willing to answer those >> or you still need your lawyer to do that? Hello. I can't tell much. >> I have questions. >> YOU THINK I THROW THE HOUSE IN THE WINDOW? I HAVE TO LEAVE THE PARKING LOT. NEITHER OF YOU GUYS STOP ME. >> You think I throw the window? >> I don't think so. [laughter] But I have to ask questions. Do you want to answer? Yes or no? >> Okay. I didn't throw my bigger out the window because the parking lot. Did you stop me? No, I did not. >> We have a question regarding the kid. >> Did you Did you go to the store with a child? >> No. >> Do I think you threw your daughter out of the window? No. However, the person that called in, right, saw you with a child. When we when we listen to me, when we made contact with you, there was no child. So, we're trying to figure out where the child that's it. >> Okay. One question. When you you're going to let me go because this is this is ridiculous. You haven't done any tasks. You I don't have my lawyer present. Why you still holding me? >> So, I'm not the reason why you still hold it. >> Your lawyer is only for being questioned, right? And you can wave or exercise that right. So, we did the field the standardized skill survivor exercise. >> And in about six minutes, what we're going to do is the second part, which is basically called the breath test. Okay. >> Hi, this is Deputy Fur with the sheriff's office. How are you? >> Good. How are you? >> I'm good. I'm sorry. What was the question you were asking? >> No, just like what was the trouble? I guess I see you guys were like kind of looking for something. >> No, we were trying to figure out. So, Ty, Tyus is your friend, correct? Are you the one that stopped yesterday in the black SUV? Yes. >> Okay. So, we know that she had a child with her at some point and then >> yes, the child was riding with me because I mean she said she was drinking a little and I was like she's like take my baby but now I kind of figured out like she wanted probably to smoke something. I don't know. >> Okay. And she told you that she wanted to give her to you because she'd been drinking or you guys already had plans? >> No, she was like I've been drinking a little so will you take the girl with you? I'm like of course. >> Okay. But I mean, I was surprised that she didn't say like, "Can I ride with you, too?" Like, that was a little weird. >> So, she knows she's been drinking. She acknowledges that she's intoxicated, but she still made the decision to drive, and that's where the the incident stemmed from. One of our biggest concerns was the safety of her daughter because we know that she was with her, and then when we made contact with her, the daughter wasn't anymore. Um, do you >> No, she's the daughter is here with me. She's good. I mean, I have a little girl. her age. So, >> okay. Oh. Well, I guess my only question to you is I mean obviously we already had this phone conversation. Um and you are right now basically her daughter's in your custody. Is there another parent that's going to be looking for her? >> That's why I'm waiting for her to call me. I have no idea. I know she's from Brazil. She doesn't have any family here from what I know. >> Mhm. >> And she doesn't have communication with a dad. >> With the dad child. Mhm. So, she's the sole um parent. >> Yeah. >> All right. Um are you okay with keeping her daughter or do we need to make arrangements to get somebody to come and take custody of her? >> No, I mean I'm okay to keep her here. I mean, she's, you know. >> Okay. >> The follow-up confirmed the suspect had dropped her daughter off with a friend earlier because she knew she was too intoxicated to drive. During the roadside investigation, she became aggressive, threatened officers, and bit an officer while resisting detention. She was ultimately arrested and charged with DUI, resisting arrest and two counts of battery on a law enforcement officer. After being medically cleared at a hospital, she was booked into jail.
