I'm sure Ashley is gonna be saying [ __ ] The [ __ ] trying to be the manager of the store. She trying to be the manager of the store and whatever she get high for trying to make sure she keep her goddamn job. Of course she going to kiss her ass. Say what she needs to say. I don't know what else to say. I didn't try to hit her. >> We got to walk out of here. >> No, not that. >> On July 24th, 2025, a report of a violent confrontation drew police to a local Dollar General. The suspect was identified as Miss Davis, [music] an assistant manager who had been terminated from the location just 24 hours earlier. While management alleged a targeted attack, Davis claimed she had simply returned to the store to purchase milk and cereal for her children. >> There's not a flaw on the back of my vehicle. And I just got my vehicle. I didn't run my car. >> So, I don't know where you hit, but >> I didn't hit her anywhere. You're the one that's pointing out the back of the vehicle. So, I'm assuming you ran into the back of your car. >> I didn't hit the back of my car. >> This car is new, sir. I didn't hit the back of this car. I have a I have a camera on the back of my car. I just got my car not even a hole two weeks ago. I didn't hit the back of her car. The [ __ ] fired me yesterday because she's an [ __ ] She's not fit to be a manager. She don't know how to treat the workers there. And that's all it is to it. So, she's trying to start [ __ ] I went up there this morning to try to be almond milk for my kids before their dad leaves and goes to work. Okay. >> She told me I couldn't come into the store and that was that and I left. I did not hit her car. I don't have any reason to hit her car. That's not going to get me anywhere but having my car damaged. >> Well, like I said, I don't believe that it was intentional. I have not >> I didn't hit her car at all, sir. Whether it was intentional or not. >> Okay. Well, the other officers are down there right now speaking with her and checking out the car. >> That's fine. >> Do you have your uh driver's license on you? >> And I have kids, too, so I don't have to do this. >> Okay. Where's uh where's dad? Good one. >> Where's that father at? >> I don't have no tickets. I don't have no warrants. I don't have any of that stuff. I don't have all day. >> Okay. Well, the other officer is going to come and speak with you. He's done down there and he's going to come up here and finish off the other half day because he was speaking with her and then Dar >> the other officer since they talked with her and and uh have all that information look at her vehicle, all that stuff, they're going to come up here and have a conversation with you since they've got that side of the story. Okay. >> Hey, what's wrong? What a warning or something flying around. >> Scared me. >> What' you say, Stephen? >> Is the other officer here? >> Yeah. Yeah. He's coming here. >> I'm listening. I'm listening. I'm listening. >> No. Do you think I care? I don't care about my car I just got. Why the [ __ ] would I hit her car and damage my truck and there's nothing wrong with my truck when I got it? Don't even make sense. If that's the case, she's feel some type of way that I started this job and got the same truck as her and I used to be pulling up in a Honda. Why would I hit her truck? I guess they they already doing that. There's another officer up there watching the cameras. Hey D, if we you want to go sit on the stairs, we can get out of stone right over here in the shade. Hey, we're going to go sit in the shade here. M >> Davis. >> Hey, how you doing? >> Hey, I'm officer Reynolds. Yeah, I need to chat with you real quick. You mind just getting off the phone for a second so we can talk? I appreciate that. So, I'm just going to read you real fast, okay? Since you're technically not allowed to leave right now since we're talking to you. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be used against you in court or other proceedings. You have the right to talk to a lawyer before we ask you any questions that have been present while we question you. If you cannot afford to hire a lawyer, one will be appointed to you free by a judge free of cost. You can stop answering questions anytime. And do you understand the questions I or the do you understand the rights I just read them to you? Cool. All right. So, what happened today? >> I went up there to get milk for my kids and she told me I couldn't be in the store and I left. >> Okay. So, what happened between her telling you you couldn't be there and you actually leaving? >> She tried to take a picture of my car. >> Okay. >> And I told her, "Don't take a picture of my car." And and we started arguing. >> Okay. And then so you guys started arguing and what happened then? Then I left. >> Okay. So, did you run into her car? >> No. >> Okay. So, you didn't back up into her car? >> No. >> Okay. So, after you left the parking lot the first time and came back, what happened the second time you came back? >> She asked me mean things to her and I left. >> Okay. So, how many times did you leave and come back? >> I pulled her in the parking lot twice. >> Twice. Okay. So, why did you come back the second time? >> I was sick. >> Okay. So, >> I didn't hit her car, though. >> Okay. So, the the the the whole hitting the car thing, I've seen there's like a bit of a scratch on the back bumper there. Um, but there's really no damage to her car. So, all that's not like a huge deal, but that the biggest thing is like when you came back on the lot and you saw her on the parking lot, like, did you try to like drive towards her? >> No. >> Okay. So, you didn't intentionally try to run her over with your car? >> No. >> Okay. So, >> that's not what I was doing. I just was reversing back >> to say something to her. >> Okay. >> And that's it. I wasn't trying to hit her. Didn't hit her car. Like I told him when he first got here, she fired me yesterday >> for something petty. I was supposed to be the assistant manager there. I haven't even been working there for 2 weeks >> and she just decided to fire me because I told her I wasn't cleaning a toilet that hasn't been cleaned since I started. She's just as the manager, she just was doing a lot of intentional things because she was in the position to and it's just all frustrating because all I'm trying to do is provide for my family. So, yes, I do have that frustration of being fired when especially when I didn't do anything, especially when I was just communicating with her to ask her what my roles were as an assistant manager. >> Okay. >> So, that's where all my frustration is coming from. But as far as like trying to hurt her or damage her car, no, that was not my intentions. Just like I told them, I just got the truck, so why would I be trying to to damage my truck? >> Well, I understand like like you were just explaining, you know, you're going through all this frustrating time. You can get really upset and people do crazy stuff when they're upset. So maybe you weren't in the right state of mind, but you at the time you were very upset and drove your car at her because you were mad at her. You know what I mean? >> No, I didn't drive my car at her. Okay. >> I was trying to reverse back close enough to her so that I can say what I had to say, but I didn't. I wasn't trying to hit her on my part. >> Okay. So, the issue is we've got other people saying that they saw it all happen and it looked very >> Ashley is going to be saying [ __ ] Trying to be the manager of the store. She trying to be the manager of the store and whatever she get high for trying to make sure she keep her goddamn job. Of course, she going to kiss her ass, say what she needs to say. I don't know what else to say. I didn't try to hit her. >> Okay. Well, here's the thing. We weren't there, right? So, all I can do is talk to you. talk to people that were there and try to figure out all what's going on. Right. >> Upon arriving at her residence, officers questioned Davis regarding allegations that she intentionally struck the manager's vehicle. Davis vehemently denied the claims, suggesting her former co-workers were fabricating the story to secure their own promotions. She maintained that while a verbal argument occurred after she was barred from the premises, no physical contact was ever made with her truck. So, um, like I said, we're trying to get all this figured out and that's why I'm here talking to you. >> I just I don't want to prolong all these for my children to see all this going on. So, >> no, I completely I completely understand that. So, you said what kind of How old are your children? >> Four and one. >> Four and one. Okay. Is there anybody else here with them? >> Their dad. >> Their dad's here. Okay. I just want to make sure we weren't leaving them up, you know, up there by themselves right there. Miss Davis, come on back. >> I'm still right here, sir. >> In the sun. >> Back in the sun. I say you can just have a seat. >> I mean, I don't need my neighbors on my business either. >> Okay. Well, I understand my neighbors on my business. >> Okay. But I also don't >> I also don't need you walking around all over the place. You know what I mean? I need you to kind of sit in one spot. So, if you can have a seat there, hang out with Officer Bar here, I'd appreciate it. >> What's the end result? >> With what? >> With this whole situation. >> Code. That's what we're trying to figure out. How long you been working at Dollar General? >> Started that two Wednesdays ago. I mean, Ashley just as pressed to work at Dollar General as she is. She's just as pressed to be a manager and to be a store manager. She was sad that she hired me on as a assistant manager. Of course, she's going to lie and say whatever the hell she need her to say >> and actually just works here. She like, >> "Yes, I don't have to lie about all this [ __ ] I said that, you know, I was frustrated or whatever the case may be. I didn't hit her car. I didn't hit her. I didn't try to hit her. should be able they should train you on to know when people are lying. >> We w I wasn't at Dollar General work here. >> I'm just saying to know people are lying. >> They teach us that in the academy, >> do they? >> Mhm. But I mean it's definitely like something that like just cuz you're taught in the academy like you're like a new rookie officer like your first day like it's just something that comes with experience too. You know what I mean? Said you got two kids four and one. >> Yes sir. four-year-old's name is Zoe. She's mildly autistic. My one-year-old's name is Kamari. >> Yeah, I got a eightweek old now. So >> Oh, really? Congratulations. You're you're fresh in. Congratulations. How's your your kids mom's doing? Is she doing okay? >> Yeah, she's doing really good. Yeah, >> that's great. Yeah, >> that's great. I'm going to call my mom and see if she can try to get them cereal and milk cuz I don't want them >> Yeah. Well, didn't you say your boyfriend's here? >> Yes. I need you to go to Dollar General and try to get them milk and cereal for me off the uh card, but I got fired yesterday of her. Um, and so when I tried to go up there this morning to get the milk and cereal, you know, she tried to show me that I can be in there in the store and then I I got upset about it. And so she tried to tell him that I hit her car with my car, which I didn't. Davis, can you speak to this officer real quick? Mom. >> All right, Dora, come here. Okay. All right. You put your hand behind your back. Okay. Back. Okay. >> Let me cash out her the money for the cereal so I can keep my phone. If I can just send her the money, go cash out to get to see her. Yeah, that's fine. >> All right, let's go this way. >> Hey, >> and I'm walking with you like that now. >> Calm down. >> Relax. Hey, >> all right. And then you got anything else on you? I'm just going to use the back of my Nothing else. All right. I'm going to get some AC rolling for you. >> What ID? It should be Was it in your wallet or where was it? >> This one on the right. Let me ask him real quick. >> Hey, Bur, do you have her ID? Thank you. >> Good catch. I was just assuming it was here first. I'm just going to set it by your phone here. Okay. And then I'll bring it in with me. So, we're going to take you to RPD. We're going to book you, give you your papers, and then uh the officer who's called this is, he's going to explain all that to you. Okay? And then we'll uh bring you back here. and get you out here. Hop out here. Then follow this officer in here. Thank you. I'm grabbing stand up back against this wall. We got to walk out of here. >> Normal. No, not that. >> Face that way. >> All right, then you can have a seat. >> No, we're not. We don't do that. I think you arrested a portal before. >> He's been arrested quite a few times. I have over. >> Yeah. Think last time I pulled over. It was a couple years ago. Still happen. >> Sure. I can call my kids. >> But so you can look up a number in your phone, but you can't use your phone while you're in your dress. You have to use our phone. But you can pull up the number on there, but you can't be texting and all that. Okay. >> Um Okay. Uh just about eight to get out of here. Eight is in your number. >> All right. Um just about you said they just look at me and they're going to bring you back home. >> Dollar. >> Sorry. >> Were you up at Dollar General? >> I was. >> Okay. >> You needed the court date on here, I guess. >> Mhm. Okay. >> Hey, man. I'm call you back. All right. I'll call you back. I was going to let you know I will get back to your children in an hour. >> I don't want to hear all that. I don't want to hear all that. >> This is all good other than her information on here, right? >> Should be all the PTR. >> Mhm. And then just have her fill that out. >> Have you fill this out real quick before he gets your fingerprints? Uh really all we need is your your name, your signature, a phone number, address, email for you. You can use that >> Lord [snorts] stand flat. Right. So, did Officer Bark explain this form to you at all when he was filling it out? The one that I had you sign. Basically, all that's saying is it's not an admission of guilt. Uh, but it does have the the charge on there and I I don't know if you read much of the section up there, but it basically says that you're going to appear on your court date and it basically says that you won't uh that you won't have any more run-ins with us or or any other police agencies that you'll uh you'll show up to that court date and that there won't be any other uh crimes committed. So, it's not an admission of guilt by any means. So, the citation copy is going to be on top here, and then that's your copy of the form that I just explained to you and that you had signed. >> The investigation ultimately shifted from a welfare check to a felony arrest based on witness statements and preliminary evidence at the scene. Davis was charged with aggravated assault. She was transported to the station for booking [music] and later released on her own recgnissance. Miss Davis is scheduled to appear in court to face these charges on August 13th, 2026. [music]
