However, a few months later, Clinton's ex-girlfriend came forward and testified that he and his parents had been planning it for months and that he was the one who actually did it. A GPS tracker installed by the lean holder showed Clinton's vehicle traveling to the crime scene. Clinton Harmon was arrested and later convicted of attempted capital. He was sentenced to 32 years in prison.
