Step out here. >> That's all that happened. >> What is >> He's so violent. >> Come here, can you look at this floor real quick? >> All >> they started messing with me. >> No, that's not what HAPPENED. >> I OWN THE HOUSE. THEY DON'T EVEN BELONG HERE. >> NO, NO, he >> Okay, well, all right, listen, listen, stop. Just stop, okay? >> He hit me in the head three times. >> Do you need an ambulance, ma'am? >> You know what you did to my face. WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? >> YEAH, look at that. >> Do you need an ambulance at all, ma'am? >> No, she didn't. >> No, okay. Well, have a seat right here. All right, have a seat. >> So, tell them to go in the house. >> All right, have a seat or I'm going to put you in handcuffs. Ma'am, do you mind stepping aside to talk to me for a minute? >> Tell her to go in the house, will you please? >> No, why should I go in the house? >> What uh can you tell me what happened? >> Yes, so he's always very horrible to us, right? So, he just started being mean. He threatened to kill our dog as soon as WE GOT HOME JUST BECAUSE the other dog was near the um our dog. The hallway light was on. >> Mhm. >> And he told me to turn it off and I didn't, so he turned it off and then he came in our room and turned our light off and then him and my mom were having a struggle >> All right, let's let's walk inside and talk. >> He picked up the shoe and he was going to throw it at my twin. >> No, I didn't throw it. >> He shoved her into the hallway. >> Sit down >> me. >> And he was bashing her head against the wall. >> from her. >> All right, have a seat. Have a seat. >> stuff from the floor from her heaving at me. >> No, that's from you pushing me into it. >> I own this house and I want them three out of my house. They won't leave the house. >> Who Who are they to you? >> daughter and my granddaughters. >> So, you want your daughter and your granddaughters to leave? >> Yeah, cuz I own the house and my wife owns the house and they're Look what they did. She hit me in the face. I had to protect myself. She happened to hit her head. I mean, I I did not punch her. >> How long have they been living here? >> Well, my daughter's been here over a year now and then they come over every 2 weeks for 2 weeks, but they disrespect me and that's what they've been doing. They're leaving stuff around and keep lights on and do this, do that. I went down the hall to turn the light out and the little one threw a sneaker at me. So, I went in her room, I turned her light out and I come back in to watch the movie and she come running at me like a mad woman and hit me in the face. So, I shoved her away from me because I can't just stand it. She's big and then she fell down and it would have been >> Um >> I was just trying to protect myself. I mean, I'm the I'm I got a lot of problems, a lot of medical problems. >> Who was in there when it happened? >> Probably her daughter, but they lie like rugs. I mean, I you know, they had actually they had her they had her taken away my daughter for a night to jail because supposedly she was abusing him, but it was proven not true whatever, but that's how once they lie their father brainwashed them. They used to love us and then he brainwashed them to hate us. >> Do you got any ID on you? >> Yes, sir. >> All right. At any point did you put your hands on your wife? >> On my wife? No. My wife wasn't even there. She was on the couch watching a movie with me. >> Okay. >> Yeah, I don't hit my wife. I don't hit women, but when this one attacked me, punched me in the face, I got to protect myself. So, I just pushed back. She's big and she's strong. Look at my face. My daughter was hitting me in the face. Come running at me like a mad man and she started throwing all that stuff. I'm I mean, this is ridiculous. This They don't even respect anymore. They push it, you know, I respected my grandparents and my father and mother, but like I said, he brainwashed them to us. So they come here, it's for my daughter, they come here to see her and I I don't want to get involved you know in between it. They're they're brats and they don't they just you know they don't clean up, they throw stuff all around, they're just a mess. >> Okay. >> I try to get along with them and it's very difficult. You know like I said, I live here, this is my wife and my house, they don't live here. That's not their house, my daughter don't She's here because we let her stay here, but I can't put up with this every time because it's just ridiculous. They got to hate her or something. I'm like I'm nice to everyone. You ask ask anybody on this block on the street anyone unless they mistreat me. >> When you allow people to stay at your home or live at your home >> Mhm. >> right, they establish residency. >> Is that how that works in Florida? >> So in order to get them out, you have to evict them if they don't leave willingly like willingly move out. >> Yeah. >> Eviction process. >> So you have to go through the >> Courthouse, yeah. >> Yeah, okay. >> This is the rules, you know, we don't make them up. >> Yeah, yeah. >> No, no, no, I know. >> Big wigs in town has to do that. >> Of course. Of course. >> So yeah, once you make an agreement that you can stay here, then you can establish residency. >> Yeah. Yeah, I wasn't aware of that but yeah, I can go do that, sure. My grand daughters love me, they love my wife. Whatever he they went with him because she has MS and all that and they were they were annoying her on purpose. He He's the bread winner, she was the housewife. He stopped giving her her medication, he stopped feeding her. That's I didn't know any of that stuff. Next thing you know, she gets lesions on the brain, she's in the hospital for two weeks. I think he was trying to kill her. And then after that, then she had what she ITP, your platelets getting eaten, that started acting up. So she's I I mean, you know what happened? He had his medic She wouldn't let him sleep in the bed anymore. So he's in the bed with the little one, right? And he's got his medication in her top drawer. When my daughter found out about that, she went in to get it. Them two jumped her. They had her both arms like that and my daughter don't want to hurt them, which she did. Like I said, they took her to jail, never listened to her side of the story. She was released and the social services came and said, "No, no, no, there's no problem here. She never did anything to these children." And like I said, he brainwashed them to for hate to be haters. So, it's such a sad situation. >> How old are your granddaughters in there? >> The one's 12 and the other one's 17. >> She just graduated? >> Graduated, just graduated. 17. They're just liars. And they lied and that's how they like to order them to jail. >> I did notice um her knee swollen pretty good, your daughter. >> Well, she must have fell down. >> I mean, it's a it's a it's a pretty good knot. I don't know. Was it tile in there or carpet? >> too. So, and she's overweight, so obviously when she goes down, I mean, I don't remember seeing her going down on her knees. All as I know is I was trying to get her push her backwards and she went backwards like you might a wall, but her knee no way did it hit the ground. I didn't see that. >> Well, you said you had to protect yourself. >> Yeah. >> So, if she's not good on her feet, I mean >> You'd be surprised. When your adrenaline's going, I don't know. She >> Got you. I was just curious, just talking. >> Hi, sir. Deputy with Flower County Sheriff's Office. I just have to ask you really quick what happened here because I never got a chance to speak to you. >> Okay. Um We're in the kitchen, my wife and I watching a movie. >> Mhm. >> They took the dog to get his nails clipped. They come back, okay? >> Yep. >> They leave the hall light on, which is right by I said, "Can you turn it out?" They didn't turn it out. So, I got up, I turned it out. I walked in my room and I just looked. The little one come out, turned it back on. So, next thing you know, she throws a sneaker at me. >> Okay. >> So, I go in their room, I just turned the light out. I went to sit back down and here comes my daughter like a bat out of hell come running at me and swinging away. I mean, what am I going to do? I had to protect myself. I never punched her. I don't hit women. I was telling this fellow right here. It got ugly, but I mean, I I was I just used my legs. I pushed her back. She hit the wall fell and fell down. And next thing you know, she starts whipping all that. I just bought a couple of them tapes, too. She's whipping them tapes at me in the head. I'm like this and all that stuff. So, finally I come out the door because I was under fire. I mean, what am I going to do? And that's the way it went. >> Did you reenter the residence at any time? >> I can't No, well, let's see. Did I Uh well, I do live here. This is my house. I came out here. I went back in >> Okay. >> But I didn't do it. I didn't touch none of them. I was just trying to get out of there cuz she was whipping stuff. She just threw the tapes all over the floor stuff. >> They are? >> Yeah. Okay. Look me up. See if I have a record of any kind of violence or any hitting anybody. >> All right, will do, sir. Right now, I'm just waiting for them to finish some paperwork, and then we'll be on our way out. >> Okay. He told me to go file at the courthouse to have them evicted. >> That's correct. It is. >> put up with this. >> It is a civil process. Just so you're aware, because it is a civil process, it will take a few weeks, maybe a month, unless they agree to leave voluntarily. I can't tell you how long the courts will take, but I do can tell you that it is a process. >> Yeah. I try to I bend over backwards to try to get along with them, but I mean, what are you going to do? I mean, they disrespect the hell out of me. You know, I was telling him that they eat, and they just leave their plate, and then I tell them You open the door, you stick the recycle bin's right there, okay? Just throw it in there. Well, they pile on purpose. They do this kind of stuff. This is what they do. They They got to play these games. And it's just a nerve-wracking. I mean, I'm 67, man. I don't need to be putting up with this crap all the time. It's horrible. And they they I'll be saying talking to my wife or my daughter, and the little one says, "Why don't you shut up now?" And this is what I get. I mean, what type of I can't touch her. >> So, here it's you, your wife, your daughter. >> Well, my daughter, we let her live here cuz she >> daughters eventually every once in a while they come by to talk. >> they come here for 2 weeks. >> How long has your daughter been staying here? >> Uh over a year, I think it is. >> Okay. Does she have a room of her own? >> Well, she Oh, yeah. >> Did you enter that room at any time? >> Just I just reached in and turned the light off. That's all. >> Okay, sir. >> That's all. But that's because, like I said, they keep turning the light on. My wife's trying to watch the movie, man. It's You lay on that couch, I'll turn the light on. You tell me what you think. I mean, how hard is it to turn the light off? They just do it to bust my chops. I don't know why. I try to be nice to them. Then they come They'll go for 2 weeks, they come back, and okay, this I don't hold a grudge. Okay, everything's cool. And then they start their crap again. The last time they piled them things up, so I start throwing them at the door, right? Where they go out, cuz I'm going to pick them up. The little girl's all the way by right behind him, sitting on that couch. She runs and tells mom I'm throwing bottles at her, empty bottles. She's such a liar. Why would I do that? I don't do that stuff. >> I understand, sir. >> Yeah. >> All I have to do is take a look at the evidence where it sits in the house. >> What evidence is that? All the stuff all over, you mean? >> Wherever it sits in the house, all I have to do is just grab and take a look at the evidence, grab photographs of that, and then make our determination at that point, sir. Okay. Right now I'm just waiting on some paperwork to get done. >> Oh, okay, buddy. >> Do you and your family get into arguments a lot? >> Not normally, but those two there, man, that about a year I think it's like a year and a half ago, my son-in-law decided he didn't want to be married to her. She has MS and stuff, and and I didn't notice, but he he's the breadwinner, and she he was holding back her medication, wouldn't feed her, and she went into all this [ __ ] Ended up in the hospital. And then her MS started acting up because of his rhetoric. So, we had to get her over here because they set her up the one time because he's in the bed- bedroom sleeping in a little kid's bed, and my daughter finds out in the daytime that he had all of his medication right in her drawer right there. So, she went to go get it. These two jump her. One's got her arm, this one's got the other arm, and she's trying to get them off, and they make up stories, and they My daughter could have beat them down, but she don't want to hurt her children. But she just like this, and then the cops came They were She got in the to come here. And the cops pulled her over and they never got her a chance to talk at all. They just listened to them, their rhetoric. And she had to spend the night and it was proven uh the child service, they said, "No, there's no problem here or anything." He has the children, he they used to be so loving and he brainwashed them to be like haters. They hate us for some I don't know, but I try to get along with them. Like I said, they're always pulling these pranks and doing stuff. I mean, talk and and yelling at me, telling me to shut up and all. And I you know, one ear and out the other, but it it it hurts. >> So, the kids are the problem. The The grandkids are the >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, we were fine and when they come over here, all hell breaks loose. >> Do you get along with your daughter well? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Probably not after this, but she she you know, it's her daughter and I understand she going to listen to her. And then, but they lie. They When they're not here, it's peaceful here. Every time they come here, I thought, "Tomorrow they'll leave." And we almost got through it. I shouldn't have to put up with this [ __ ] Every time they come home with all this stuff, I mean, it's not right. >> It's understandable. >> Yeah. >> How long have you lived here? >> Almost 11 years, yeah. >> Right when the real estate started booming here, huh? >> Yeah, we got a good deal on this place. It was bank-owned and I was like, "Well, I don't bank-own. Do you feel better?" She was fine with that. So, we don't buy the same thing. >> Right. >> Not my fault. >> Right. So, your daughter's been living with you for about a year now. Does she have nowhere else to stay? Is that what's going on? >> She has no money and she has nowhere to stay. She She was the housewife, so she doesn't have a job and she's got so many problems. She really can't work and it started when she was 14, she got cancer in her throat and in her sternum, Hodgkin's lymphoma. >> Okay. >> Then after that, not much couple years later, she got pregnant and she got the ITP where she was bleeding out 30,000 platelets a night were getting eaten up. So, she was in the hospital for a long, long time in Philadelphia and they kept giving her transfusions of platelets. Finally, the child was born, which is the graduate. So, I was you know her her her husband stayed with her boyfriend stayed with her and I was I was proud of the guy and I never thought they'd ever break up. They were such a happy couple. >> Understood, sir. If you wouldn't mind real quick, I just have to talk to him my partner. Robert, do you got any weapons in your pockets? >> No. >> You mind standing up? Just let me pat you down. >> Sure. >> Do me a favor, put your hands behind your back. >> I don't know what you're going to do. You going to lock me up for what? >> Right now, you're just being secured while we search your pockets. >> okay. That's cool. >> Put your feet in first. >> I'm trying. >> Yeah. All right. Watch your Watch your knee. >> Robert Andrew was arrested and charged with domestic battery after allegedly assaulting his adult daughter during a family dispute.
