My stepdaughter here, uh, she was staying over there with this guy. >> Uh-huh. real bad. >> She's got pictures on her. >> Yeah, just some of them. >> All right. She took a shower when she got here. She sitt >> and then that's what her face and >> he pulled her pants by her hair. >> Wow. >> Across the ground. >> That all happened today? >> Yeah. >> When did he at you? >> He shot at you. >> Yeah. He's got a gun >> like with a firearm. >> Yes. >> That was today. >> Not today. When was that? >> A week ago. >> A week ago. Did you report that? We thought I met him. He seemed like a nice guy, but nobody does this right here. You know, >> where did it happen? So, where his tree service thing is or where the where the tree service is? >> Yeah. >> Was anybody there with you guys? >> I I was at the gas station and she was out of breath and she came up to me. And she got in the car, my car, and I brought her here just in case. >> And that just happened. >> Yeah. Like >> or what time did y'all get over here? >> Uh when he >> We've been here about 30 minutes. >> 30 minutes. >> 35 minutes. Cuz it ain't been like 4 minutes up the road. Does does he sleep in there with you? >> No, he sleeps in the house. >> Okay. >> And he come asked me who was in there and started he busted my phone. >> Like he thought he thought somebody was with you. >> Yeah. I thought I had somebody in there. I was asleep. >> Uh-huh. >> And next thing you know, he just he drove me out of bed and just started me and just the crap out of me. >> Mr. Come to the door. IT'S THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE. Do you want me to call an ambulance out here for you? And >> are you sure it's not? No, it's not a problem. It finally calmed down and >> he got you in the house or in the camper? >> In the house. >> How'd he get you in the house? >> He me in there by my hair. >> Uh-huh. So when you So that happened this afternoon? >> That happened this morning. I just got away. So, you had been in the house with him all day long. Where was he while you were in the house? Or while y'all were in the house >> with me? >> Well, >> no. Where exactly? Like >> in the bedroom. He needed cigarettes and stuff and I tried to act like everything was okay. >> He was dressing up. >> No, I was. >> Oh, you were dressing up. >> Fix up a little bit so we could go to the store cuz I needed cigarettes and goodie powders and everything seemed good and all that. And finally, he needed to cut down a couple branches off the tree. The acorns keep hitting the house and was tired of it. So, he was going up the tree to do that. And when he got up the tree and turned his back and I saw a chance to get around the corner where he couldn't see me, I ran all the way to the store. >> Okay. What time about what time do you what did did it start this morning or today? >> I don't know. He busted my phone. I don't know what time I was asleep. >> Would you say it was before lunch? >> It was definitely >> He's been holding you that long. >> Yeah. >> Thought the dog was coming from inside, but it's coming from next door. >> So that's her damn camper. That's where it happened. The >> door the door to the camper has the glass. I wonder. She made it sound like he shot at her in the house, but she did say he went climbed the tree to cut some limbs today because of acorns. Them things are just cut. Do you have marks in places that you don't want me to see? >> No. >> Like, are you sure? >> Yeah. Everything's where you could see. >> Okay. Um, >> it's just my legs, my arm, and my face. >> Okay. >> This is all him right there. Some of them up here. So, was he like you in the legs or >> Yeah, I was I had everything thrown at me. Glass, my mirror broke. It was in the bedroom. Everything busted on me. But you got my neck. >> Let me see those. Um, >> wow. All right. >> Yeah, he does. He doesn't like that. He doesn't just >> Can we go inside so I can take pictures or It's totally up to you guys. Like, whatever you're comfortable with. >> A little longer. real protective is what I said. >> All right. Hell, there was a light on in there. The wind is busted out. >> There's like the motion sensor light and then there's like fresh fire on there. >> Since the camper is the victim's, do we need to clear it right quick or check it or check for signs of a potential crime having occurred inside there? She says she walked >> and then she tried to run. Yeah. When they got to the front door, it was locked. So, she tried to run and he her and her around the house. I don't know which side though. So he was throwing stuff at you. He hit you. What else? Tell me. >> I was thrown. >> Say that again. >> I was thrown. >> And then But you also didn't you say that stuff was thrown at you? >> Oh, yeah. >> Okay. >> Everything was thrown. Everything. >> True. >> So he he you by the by the hair and pulled you in the floor off your bed or do you have a bed in your camper? >> Yeah. >> Where I was sleeping. >> He pulled you off the bed. >> Yeah. >> By your hair. >> Yeah. >> Do you have something in your mouth or on your mouth or is there >> I was scratching. I'm sorry. >> Is there a wound though on your mouth? >> There. >> Where did he you? >> Oh my god. >> Did he drag you all the way from your camper to the house? >> No, he was making me walk to the house. >> Where were you guys at when he was you? >> I was um in the front where the trucks are. I was in the yard. Yeah. In the yard. I tried to scream, but too far away for anybody to hear. >> Yeah. I got Did you see the little >> He me by the hair and just drug me into everything cuz the front door was locked. So he just dragged me to the back of course I was blamed for locking the front door. >> So all all of this was because he thought you had somebody in there with you. >> Yeah. >> So are you guys in some type of relationship or >> No, just friends. >> He just lets you stay on his property in a camper. >> Yes. >> She said he came in here and started throwing things there. >> I said that tracks. Unless they just live like this, which is >> Oh, look. There's the cell phone he destroyed. Yeah. I was about to say like how do you know what was thrown and what was already in it or what was already I mean look at the bed. What did he throw at her? >> That's what the inside of that damn house looks like. >> Hey Travis. >> Yeah. >> So you were at the store and she ran up to you. >> Yeah. She came up to me. >> What' she say? >> She just said, "Can I borrow your phone? Call >> How was she? How'd she look? What how she >> had she had makeup on at the time. So at the time it was like a ghost like but uh no she just came up to me and she was uh stuttering a little bit and sound like she's been crying. So I let her use my phone called dad. >> I got you. What's uh what's your name? >> Travis back. >> His wife Sherry in there. She's got pictures of Jasmine before she took a shower. >> All right. >> When she first got here. >> And you said she appeared to have been crying. >> Yeah. Kind of skittish. She know like she didn't want nobody to see her there. >> She just came running up to you. >> Well, she came up from behind me. She was coming down the aisle and I heard somebody holding my name. >> Oh, y'all were in the store. >> Yeah. >> I don't I think you should >> That's in the camper. >> I think you got enough of that. >> I mean, if I'm going to take one of them, I'm going to take every one of them. >> Yeah. Kidnapping. Hold on. >> Kidnapping, false imprisonment, damage your property. >> I feel 20. Get one of them signed through one. All right. Hello. >> Hey, what's up, man? Can you sign some warrants for me right quick? All right. Um I got this evening almost 6 o'clock I got sent to a residence on Carl Cedar Hill Road. Uh the complainant called on behalf of his stepdaughter. Um had been cla told them that she she had beened today. Um so I talked to her. Her name was Jasmine Burton. She stated she woke up this morning. She stays in a camper on the property of Brian. She woke up this morning by him barging into her camper and accusing her of having somebody in there with him. When she denied that accusation, he began physically assaulting her. He first smashed her cell phone when she tried to grab it to call 911 cuz he threw something at her first and then he broke her cell phone and then he started physically assaulting her. He then forced her to walk from her camper over to the residence. When they got to the front door, it was locked, so she tried to run. Um, she she didn't get far. He grabbed her by the hair and her into the house and held her inside the house all day long. Uh, occasionally on her, occasionally her to the point of nearly losing. Sometime this evening at almost between 4:00 and 5 I believe probably he walked outside and she was able to run to the Carl BP and get help. She had on her whole body. She had very obvious finger marks on her where he had grabbed her and her. We tried to come out here and get his story. We were not able to. But I went in her camper and I found the broken cell phone which corroborated her story. So I have taken four warrants on Brian. One for kidnapping, one for aggravated assault, one for false imprisonment, and one for criminal trespass. And we are on scene now trying to talk him out. And it's probably going to be a barricaded situation here as soon as these warrants are signed. >> All right. I've already started signing them. Uh, okay. But I'll I'll finish the last one in just a minute. >> Okay. All right. Thank you. Get a round at the Try to hit the door. Just the front door. Just get one. Get Don't hit the car. >> How about the hole? >> Nope. Yeah. Go a little closer. We got you. Just get one. Hold on. Hold on. Hold. Well, safety on. >> Do you have a ram of some kind or a battering tool? >> All right. So, this is what we're going to do. We're going to go to the back door. We're not going to the front. We're going to the back door uh that we went in that I've been in before. We'll knock. You don't want to open it. We'll knock a little harder and try and open it up. The shield up obviously we're trying to open it. Try to call them out. That don't work. Um >> there's two windows on the BC side on the C side. >> Yeah. Um I mean we could depending on what we see or what we hear, we could launch pepper in there, but if we do, we're not going to be able to go in and clear very well afterwards. So >> Brian, you're under arrest. You to come out. You need to come out now. County Sheriff's Office. >> Back up. Back out. >> We know you're under the bed. Come out. >> Show me your hands. >> Hey, SHOW ME YOUR HANDS. SHOW ME YOUR HANDS NOW. >> SHOW ME YOUR OTHER HAND. >> Get out from THE >> V. SHOW ME YOUR HAND. SHOW ME YOUR HAND. GET THE right hand IN JESUS NAME. GRAB HIM. GET THE MOTHER. GOD, PLEASE. [screaming] >> [screaming] >> PLEASE, PLEASE GET the up. >> I PROMISE YOU. >> GET THE THAT'S NO LONGER AN OPTION. >> GET ALL THE GROUND NOW. >> GET THE COPS. YES, SIR. YES, SIR. >> LAY DOWN. SIT THE DOWN. LAY DOWN ALL THE WAY. >> ALL RIGHT. YES, SIR. >> YES, SIR. YES, SIR. >> Don't do not move. >> I'm not moving. I'm moving. I'm not moving. >> Everybody take a break. >> Please, Lord. >> Take a break. >> God, I'm sorry, y'all. Oh, God. >> I just didn't want to go to jail. Y'all didn't have to hurt me, >> right? Oh, God. >> You're going to jail, sir. Well, we didn't want to have to hurt you, but you made us, didn't you? >> I was just want to go to jail, man. >> Well, how'd that work out? >> Did you have any Hey, let me ask you a question real quick, Brian. Did we give you any options before this? >> This is my question. >> I I climbed that tree. >> Did we give you any options before this? >> I didn't hear y'all until y'all busting the door. >> Did we give you any options before this? >> No, sir. >> Shut up. >> All right. Barry, you're facing the dirt. Yes, sir. >> Barry, you're facing the dirt and shut the up. >> Let's get his hands behind him. >> That's what I'm about to do. I'm not resisting. >> Bury your face in the dirt. >> Yeah. >> Do not say another word. >> Yes, sir. >> All right. >> All right. >> Be be cool with him. >> He's caught. >> Oh, great. Well, Lugy's getting on my >> Yeah, I'll get it. >> Hey, buddy. It burns. >> Yeah. What the bro? >> Hey, there's water up in the front if you guys need some >> to decor. >> And if you decide to spit, it'll be the worst thing you ever do in your life. >> Spit on myself. Oh god. You got another set of road somewhere right? >> Yeah. >> Brian was arrested and charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, and criminal trespass.
